Time is a grand illusion and so is its companion space
one can't ever do without the other or take its place.
They both appear to hang in the void of non-being
where the end product is this universe we're seeing.

It is said that it's the early bird which catches the worm
and that in matters of principle we should all stand firm.
But what if the birds are many and the worms are few,
those principles people adhere to are unjust and untrue?

It's been often said that the simple things in life are the best
and that life, for some people in the world, is also a real test.
If we then try and live simply with high practical ideals as such
we'll be happier in ourselves and towards nature keep in touch.

It is said that jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire
is temptations' way for those who don't control their desire.
Desires are of various kinds and often lead many people astray.
It takes courage and strength to overcome or keep them at bay.
_______

Whatever it is that attracts a moth to burning flame
is seen by me as a mysterious sacrificial love game.
The moth is just an insect and that flame is of fire
and so gets consumed in the heat of all its desire.
_______

I would like to say that You are mine
but sometimes our words can't define.
As long as I hold You dearly in my heart
there would not be a reason to feel apart.
_____

What is the condition of your heart my friend?
Do you know how, when and where it will end?
Is it one of love, compassion, beauty and joy
or one with the greater potential to destroy?

It's each person to themselves that has been a cause of much pain
because they're mostly interested in what with they only can gain.
They don't really give a **** about how anyone else might be going
but continue on for their own sakes regardless of what life is showing.

There's a genuine need for us all to look into our heart and mind
and **** out any impurities in there that we may probably find.
We were not at all born to live by deceit, enmity, hate and selfishness
or towards our fellow man act without compassion or thus transgress.

Time and space have no beginning or end
except in God Who them both does extend.
That Reality is the source of each of these things
and also to every creature life and death brings.

Where there's a love that doesn't fade
there is also a light without any shade.
Where there's a purity without any taint
there is a place or someone very quaint.
_____

It seems a mistaken notion when we hear it said that 'all men are born equal'
and is due to the fact that as a baby we are all helpless, dependent and small.
But as we grow up and get older the sense of equality doesn't mean much at all
as there are many factors at play which are not so evident and hard to forestall.

God is the Infinite Love, Wisdom and Beauty we are all seeking;
the Eternal Glory and the One True Friend really worth keeping.
Though we can't readily see Him with our worldly eyes
He is there just the same and without any compromise.

Please don't ever rend my heart in two
but keep it whole so I can give it to You.
A broken heart is due to love in-fatuously spent
a one-sided affair that in self-interest was bent.

You’re the light in the darkness that all creatures seek
and the light shinning in our hearts if therein we peek.
The key to that door though is of love, truth and grace
which only You can bestow allowing us into that place.

No one should try and bite off more than what they can ever chew
because they’ll get themselves into difficulties if and when they do.
Everybody usually tries to get by with what they each can score
but sometimes their greed backfires on them if they go for more.

Self effort and grace is what true religion is about
and both in life nobody can ever really do without.
They are the two wings of our soul which allow it to soar
and the means by which we can all reach Heaven’s shore.

You are in the thunder and in the lightning
it seems at times You’re so very frightening.
And if sometimes by nature we get scared out of our wit
it’s a way You have to remind us by Thy grace to submit.

I can see you but do you really see me?
How can you know what it’s like to be?
Surface impressions can be so very deceiving
if the onlooker is by a narrow mind perceiving.

It’s said that ‘a change is as good as a holiday’
though a holiday might be better than a change.
This depends really on one’s attitude some say
or what appeals to the person who is to arrange.

It has been said that ‘the Spirit of God moves in mysterious ways’
and that those whom it touches are blessed throughout their days.
It also makes them say and do many wonderful or miraculous things
which then confirms the saying that ‘Heaven on earth down it brings’.

You are The Divine Living Ocean and I am an empty cup
with Thy Holy Waters of Life please come and fill me up.
You’re the only One Who can really quench all my thirst
of Thy life giving waters allow me to drink and not burst.
________

To see a whole new world open up within one’s mind,
to make something out of nothing of an unlikely kind,
to go to another place that we’ve never been to before,
to realise our Self is what life’s really about and more.
________

It seems that as long as we have all got some money to spend
there are those who their friendship in some degree will lend.
The value of people though isn’t due to their amount of coin
but what they have to offer to benefit others that will enjoin.

Only God is real, everything else is really a dream
of His creation, playing all the parts, it does seem.
What we are though He can reveal for us one day to see
as He’s the only One in the many and also eternally free.
______

All sacred scriptures were divinely revealed and given by God to man
as a record of our relationship to help remember Him as best we can.
They also can be used as a reference for advice in our times of need
as they contain eternal truths for all concerned to abide by and heed.

Please don’t take me to be anything other than that which I am
irrespective of what appears to your eyes I am that which I am.
If there’s any reason whereby you believe what your eyes may see
then it could be that with your mind instead of your heart you see.

It’s said that ‘true love can never die’
and the heart of the lover knows why.
As this love blossoms and becomes pure
throughout all of eternity it does endure.

Consider everyone as a friend unless they prove to be otherwise
and then we should consider the workings of some compromise.
There are certain mysteries compelling from previous births we’ve had
and what we’re all faced with now is the outcome of them good or bad.
________

There’s something for everyone here in this world of ours
and all that anyone really has to do is to put in the hours.
So as to get whatever they may desire or perhaps wish to be;
it’s the same for those who in their efforts try to become free.
______

There's a long distance journey we all have to make
going from one life to another through death's gate.
One life may not really be enough to achieve that goal
where the game we have to play requires a perfect role.

When the subject and object in love are united
there isn’t another around at all to be sighted.
And where oneness prevails love eternally flows
from the One to the many that of illusion shows.

Out of the hell of this world we all have to find heaven
and the steps to go through are said to be one to seven.
This world then is a stepping stone to that which is higher above
and the essential requisite for the journey is ever increasing love.

O God, may Your light of love and truth always shine through
illuminating all the darkness and dispelling our ignorance too.
You are the Only One That eternally shines by Its own infinite light
and everything’s a reflection of Thy glory witnessed by divine sight.

Do not ever let anger overpower your heart or mind
and you will get to be one of an extraordinary kind.
When anger is expressed in an ignorant or unenlightened way
it causes some door of the heart to close where love does play.

If at times we have to swallow the bitter pill of remorse
we may at first appear to sound much like that of a horse.
And when copious tears flow they tend to purify our being
leaving us with an inner peace and clearer sense of seeing.

Oh dear Lord, please don’t allow anything to obstruct our devotion or love to You
but if something interferes help us to overcome it so as to Your love we can be true.
In this world we are all beset at times by so many unwanted tribulations and woes
that it seems as if they serve to lead us away from instead of towards You dispose.

Before mankind explores other worlds in the vastness of space
it will be much better to make one called Earth The Ideal Place.
Otherwise whatever problems are not resolved here at home
will only follow mankind everywhere it may happen to roam.

If we sing the Master’s praises
with a sincere and loving heart
the fire of love inside us blazes
and so then we don’t feel apart.
____

The sun, the wind, the rain and the moon,
these are the things that make earth bloom.
Over four distinct phases during the course of one year,
harmony of each with the other is achieved without fear.

There are certain feelings in my heart that I won’t try to explain
which if I were to tell you about them you’d probably complain.
The well-springs of our heart run deep and determine how we live
meaning: if we don’t allow them to flow naturally hold us captive.

The phoenix is a bird said to rise from its own ashes
being a symbol of immortality and spiritual rebirth.
So life in this world undergoes many similar flashes
which determine the degree and quality of our mirth.

One may have to sacrifice a lot just to gain only little
and what this will demand would be a big committal.
But when one sacrifices a little and happens to gain a lot
it could be a very fortunate life which that person has got.

When the loss of a loved one causes you much grief
and so you can’t for a while seem to find any relief,
it’s very likely that you have been too long attached
and possessiveness must now be in ways dispatched.
_______

It’s liquid or water that always flows
and so in a downward direction goes.
Though never upward is also well known
unless by evaporation or force it’s thrown.
______

It’s usually better to be safe than sorry
is what you hear some people often say
because it eliminates a lot of the worry
that may come into their lives each day.

The rolling ocean of time appears so vast
that who knows how far back into the past
it extends and of our present moment only being
just a slight impression on its shores we’re seeing
_______

There was once a time when you could drink
some cool and clean water at the local stream.
But now you either have to wonder or think
whether that was not out of a distant dream.

From yesterday and today rises the hope for tomorrow
by which that day may bring an end to human sorrow.
But though this will seem to some now a very long way off
true faith is known to work wonders so we shouldn’t scoff.

True love is rare my friend and death is a certainty,
Can you tell me where both lead to or is it a mystery?
The truth will make us free, it is said, have faith don't doubt,
God is within us all my friend and also everywhere else about.
