Nothing grows.

Empty highs.
Empty lows.

I can't feel the warm,
And I can't feel the cold.

You try to make me happy,
And I try just for you.
But other than our trying,
Nothing else is new.

I worry I'll upset you,
If I can't make a change.
It's not fair of me,
To make you stay the same.
Don't let me drag you down with me.
Grip the side of the bed in fear
Swelling in the air, a curse run amok
Seeing faces turn gray the seer
Fingers turn white a stare at the clock

How can I go when I’m not ready?
The plaintive cries the hallways fill
See my hands shake, my legs unsteady
Jump out of the window or swallow a pill

Where will those with class go to mend?
Among the pittance of which they dwell
Without a small sheet to wipe my ***
Will they **** and gasp to the pits of hell?

Where is the mercy that thou dost seek?
Not as gentle the mist that has released
Shall it be boisterous or commonly meek?
What shall your soul do if called deceased
A sower
     A seed
A root
     Of the tree
A forest is the poet

A harvest
     A trove
A cherry
     Of the grove
Sweetness is the poet

A feather
     A wing
A flight
     Of the spring
A sparrow is the poet

A swarm
     A bee
A buzz
     In the tree
A sting is the poet

A puzzle
     A haze
A fog
     In the maze
A mystery is the poet
Let the soul train take the music
Let the heart ache take the pain
Cause tomorrow cause tomorrow
Comes the rain
I'm not a stranger to the dark
And its not new to me
It accompanied me
When no one was there for me
As I could only hide in it and let out myself
Only darkness know
I'm Not A Stranger To The Dark
Darkness knows me better not you

Ivy Davenport
her eyes were green
with golden flecks
candy apple red staining
the center ring
flowing out into a dark forest ivy
her lips soft and plump
like bubblegum
puckered out like
a blooming flower
rosey cheeks painted
with a gentle watercolor
and freckles speckling
her little button nose
like snow
last of all her hair
the perfect strawberry field
red, auburn, ginger
smelling fresh and pure
she smiles

We stayed up till
3 am talking,
And today
I don’t even know
How to say hi,
Masha Yurkevich

When I yell at my dog
to stop barking,

I wonder if he's like:

"This is awesome!
We are barking together!

Perhaps dog owners can understand me
You are near,
Even when I don't
see you.
You will always be with me,
even when you
are far away.
One little invisible virvus
Has contributed havoc
Around the globe
People dying
Dropping like flies
What's this all about.?
I never thought I'd matter
To anyone

Until you
Came along

And changed my perspective
Of the universe

You made me feel
Like I matter

And I'm grateful
For you.

Let's be a bit like trees.
Grounded by their roots digging deep in the Earth. Adapting to the weather - be it  hail, wind  and storm ; and Being a shelter to living creatures be them great or small.
Trees which have been Planted by our forefathers and which will outlive each one of us.
Trees which are Stationary and silent yet strong and rooted.
Some trees are straight, others are crooked - all powerful nonetheless.
The cycle of life turns their leaves yellow as the leaves wither and fall. Spring regenerates them transforming trees with  bright colours, fruit and flowers.

Be patient.

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.
Monsters don’t exist
Still, we are very afraid
Because we made them
Monsters. A concept so often used to represent anything dislikable to society, which we are afraid of. Yet literal monsters don’t exist.

i keep waking up
with you on my lips
but it's only your name
and not your kiss
screaming your name at night in my sleep

I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)

I wonder
when all my lies fall
and the truth
comes knocking down
all these walls I built around
will they still want
this child of the rainbow
amongst their white flock?
Living a double life is hard and it becomes harder every single day I keep hiding the truth about myself. I long for the day I'll be free, but also fear it, for it also may be the last day I see so many of my loved ones...
why would i say "i love you"?
maybe it's because you remind me of poetry.
i love you and every little rhyme,
i cherish every syllable of you.

i would say "i love you" because your beauty could outshine every rain any day.
i say "i love you" because, simply put,
i do

I was a page in your book of life.
You were a whole chapter in mine.
The other day,
I unblocked you from

Not because I miss you.

Not because I am inviting you
back into my life
after a year and a half--

Because I refuse
to remain in hiding.

your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
I´d like to vanish
in the dark
so when the sun raises
I am gone

I don't want to be
in this world
so when the earth turns
I am gone

I wish to flee
from this life
so when the birds sing
I am gone

I gave up
the hope of morning
so when the moon vanishes
I will too
The strife

You are my Mother,
you are my Father
You are my love,
you are my friend
You are my beginning,
you are my end.

And I love you so much,
I want to see you in me,
You have so many
but you are the
one for me,
I want to touch you,
I want to feel you,
I want to serve you
all the time,
You are  my song
you are my rhyme.

the stars are cold
the air frigid

dying alone, corona
We all have demons-

The difference between,
you and me-

I choose to feed them.

They live rent-free,
unwanted guests trapped
in the abyss of my memories

I cannot hide
it's all in my mind

separation of church and
There is no redemption

Last call, fist fight-
getting over the words
inside of my mind

I must be dreaming
it's all deceiving

you are not someone i can bury myself beneath.
you are someone i am meant to forget.
disappearing like dew in the morning,
you are not art, as much as i say you are.
Black Lilacs
blooming -

a blossoming
of grief -

dark fallen pollen
on the breeze -

I can see it falling
all around me -

there on the wall
for us to see -

April will be
the cruelest of them all.
“ April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land...

I will show you fear in a handful of dust...

...And other withered stumps of time
Were told upon the walls;...”

T.S. Eliot, The Waste Land, 1922.
I drank the ocean,
Down to the very last drop
But I still feel empty

I stand on the sun
Blind and burning
But the shadows inside remain

I watch the stars turn
In the black of the night
And see my heart reflected
Royal blue deepening
Velvet drift, sky robe
White moon gliding, glowing
Pinned tight, night's brooch
Trees black, still as cut-outs
Unreal sense
Of something's approach
All festooned in magic
And the brooch is smiling
Tempting the future
Rolling like a die and
Laughing at fate
Indoors has broken out in chaos
I just silently stand in the corner
And wait.
to me,
you are
an art

                              to you,
                              I was
                              a tragedy
you still remain, and will always be
a fine piece of art
to me.

Every night I saw you
Every night beside me
I feel to forget,  secret yet hidden pain
It's all about meanings
You teach me
With that smile to forgive my past
Let me make it those finest memories
Which will last between us
Cover my past, belove my present
Upbringing my future with you
Let me love you, let me love forever
Let me love you to endure...
