I do not know where to go from here
Vision blurred by every heavy tear
Helplessly witnessing hope disappear
I am forced to face my greatest fear
Which is losing the people i love the most

Your name
has been locked into
the secret dimension
inside my mouth
known only by our tongues.

so i keep searching
7 months out
since losing my only key

trying to find another
to fit
or
force
the last remnant of us
out of me.

Dont I deserve happiness?
I dont deserve your love
Maybe Ill be better off dead
I dont know the meaning of this life
I went to a trip to Mexico but now Im sad
I dont wanna go to work
I just want to sleep
In my sleep Im not human anymore

Le ciel très haut qui tourne et fuit, rose de crème ;

Enthousiasme, joie, appel, douleur, reproche,

Avec de l'or, du bronze et du feu dans la voix ;

Trois encor, trois encor ! l'Angelus oublié

How to become a poet:
Let someone rip your soul apart.
And in the need of mending ,
You will replace it with words.

You respected.
You a legend.
Became part of a trio that is now called a legend.

Hotwax, Invictus, just added thrills of more creativity.
You were the name in between two brothers that reign supreme.
Accomplished so much during the sixties scene.

You were Dozier, loyal soldiers creating Motown success.

And, now you're gone.
Tell him, you gave your best.

I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)

Cual es el problema?
Si yo te lo quiero mandar!!
Cual es el problema?
Si no quiero que vengas!!
Cual es el problema?
Abre los ojos!!!
Por favor entiende!!
No todos miran
Lo que miras en mis ojos.
Mis ojos mienten.
No lees creas!!
No soy buena,
Soy El diablo disfrazado.
un lobo y no la oveja.
Tal vez soy un ángel,
Un ángel caído.
No soy Dios.
Pero al verla
Veo a Dios
Y ella tiene
Sus ojos vendados.

Grace my presence
Give way in a field of flowers
Allow me to carry you
A kiss whilst spinning
Just like the movies
The sweat betwixt our hands
The petrichor from the rain
Lest we grow apart
Don't let go

I was too much, you said
then find less
and I will find more
and I found more
there is abundance in her kisses
and an ampleness in the way
she says my name
see the grin that eternity carves into her flesh
as she chants each letter of my name
infinitely,
intimately
I have painted your portraits for the world to see and I have uttered your name on stage for the world to hear. Truly you are my muse. My brushes refuse to work without the thought of you plastered in my mind and even in bed, I am still making art. Fingers tracing the canvas of your skin, memorizing every arch and bend.  ilyily

She was a damsel in distress
who ripped her wedding dress

the first time ever it was worn
now was brutally in half torn

with tears rolling down her face
she wished this day she could replace

but as she stumbled down the aisle
her face began to form a smile

she then her veil skywards threw
and let it rip with an "I DO"

I’m buried in a cocoon of stories
From poetry,
To biographies,
To dystopia,
And romance
So many stories
Of so many people
Real,
Or just figments of the author’s
Imagination
Sitting atop wooden bookshelves
Waiting for the right person,
To pick them up
And get lost in their story
For everyone has a story to tell,
Some are overly exaggerated,
And other’s are rarely heard
The important thing is
That we share our stories
Through word of mouth,
The internet,
Or in a notebook
To be found by future historians
Tell your story
Believe me, you won’t regret it

Im bending over backwards to make myself good for you
the things I've given up to make you happy
you dont notice the little things
and if you do you dont care.

you dont touch me,
you dont talk to me.
im striving for the attention of someone
who doesnt want to give it to me.

but you tell me youre trying,
so why not believe it right

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.

Too late to say what I was thinking
That time I wanted to stay
But left anyway.

Right where I feel strong
