I freed your heart
I unbound your chains
I turned on your light...open your eyes now!
Do you still see demons?
Or are they gone now, like you?
More ramblings outside my haiku attempts

Nothing is wrong
when I am young
and you are beautiful
I can't wait too long
to listen to your song
when nature is wonderful.

No, maybe it's wrong
when we're unknown
and not committed
I wouldn't sing for you
Now I need to know you
and we should be committed.

Okay then alright
Give it up tonight,
Nothing has happened yet.
Yeah, you were wrong
let it go and wait a long
for a true sky light.

let me shout it from the rooftops into the baby blue sky
and let the sound of rain dance on the concrete

may the eavesdropping wind tell the rivers
and the rivers run to whisper it to the seas

let the morning glories and evening primroses bloom
with the sun beaming
the petals wilt and become limp with the knowledge

Let it be known that …

I love you .

Would you still bloom?
Will you?

It is time to reflect on the inner world of the letter h

before we do so it must be remembered

the letter h has suffered traumatic melancholic episodes

unbearable sustained stress that came close to its exclusion from the alphabet

think on that for a moment

to reflect we need to count down

If my fate is to love you
From a distance
Then I'll burn for you
Like a star in your night sky
Bright, steady, reliable
Unwavering
Until the end of time.
I have failed myself with such absoluteness
That not even death
Would be of any use

The great bells of Saturn,
it cheers from all directions

Never speaking of any true path
but signifying one of many

Her rings, not safe to slide on
seem secure from my location

But I pause, unsure where to start,
doubting if I'm ready.

i'm sentenced to house arrest
by my own fear
Poetry that animates
   Your own creations

Poetry that stirs up
   Your own recipes

Poetry in motion
   Taking you somewhere free

Poetry, a passing stare
   Made you do a double glare

Poetry in locomotion
   That made you map out crazy

Agitates, oscillates, fluctuates
   Darkness, light or in the shadows

Tempestuous because you like
    The moody and absurd words

Poetry, the outlet of imagination
   For things that need to be written
Poetry needs no reasons

Healing leaves are now disrobed branches
on the edge of this wilderness.
Many tall Douglas Fir stand sentinel
over 100 foot tall amazing grace — the fleeting leaves
expose the beauty of the moss clad scaffolds
adorned with a lime-grey lichen lace
Nature is my refuge — solid ground to stand
in this harmony and peacefulness.

The magic spell. The spell that can comfort someone.

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.

The constant state of pain whether it's internal or never feeling like I am good enough for anyone. Always in a state of flux never-ending always hiding within my self pushing back all these feelings putting on a mask of humor and weirdness to the forefront for all to see. I just feel lost in a dark room and there is no light that I can see. Just want to find that love from her to make me feel like we are one. Till then I wander in this dark room for now.
I dedicated this to all the hopeless romantics out there and hope your story is filled with love.

Trusted on sight
Lost in words

I wonder what colors he would use for me?

Like an expensive painting in a museum
You intrigued me,
Stopped me dead in my tracks

Such intelligence wrapped in delicacy
Careful words change to careless laughter
You are the most astonishing piece

Nervous fiddling
Strangers once maybe

I could feel your soul reaching
Digging deep for something unknown to you
Let me help,
I have a light

Mysterious,
Eccentric and living golden
In a land of mountains and wind

My light stayed lit
As I said nothing
You worked, you searched
You paused and looked up

By accident, our eyes met
And I've been wondering ever since

What colors would he use for me?

As I sit still
Like the crypt
Back in ‘06
I feel dead
Foggy mind fills
I have to follow the script

Before I face the crucifix
Afore this feeling of dread
Takes over me
This blue velvet couch
Whereupon my devils sit
Next to you, Within me slouch
and I listen to my Devils speak

My mind as quiet as your tomb
After all this time
You wouldn't love me now anyway
I've put on a few years
And a few pounds
And I've got a spot,
This time it would have to be
Our souls coming together
If you did
If you could.

All the years before the Corona pandemic, my Swedish neighbours from across the lake used to celebrate the 4th of July with a party,  having themselves spent 32 years in the United States.  To them I dedicate this poem.

  July 4th, 2020 🇺🇸

It is the fourth of July.
A day we usually
Fill with joy:
Fireworks, parades and games
Its names:
Fourth of July:
Independence Day.

United, free;
No more a colony;
A formal declaration
Made of five brave men
And Thomas Jefferson,
Making history, and
The beginnings of a USA.

So, Americans,
My dear, dear Swedish friends
And any there may be elsewhere,
Let us wear the day
In camaraderie and play.
Most all in harmony.
Happy, Happy 4th July! 🇺🇸
