Lay forth in front of me my will and soul
To speak of such things to occur are told
I, therefore seek refuge amongst the wild
Now turning my attention to myself

As I have come into this world alone
I've made and lost close friends along the way
Always shall we move through this universe
In constant rest, nothing is motionless

Come hail or shine we will remain in time
A blue daisy, my love, I offer you
On each petal, I leave a kiss come true
Don't search for my heart for I've lost it now

A new day shall dawn for you and your life
And new memories be made just for you
Never realizing life's the real dream
As one petal falls a new one shall grow
My attempt at iambic pentameter. Not perfect.

Still there when
The plants die
Graceful garden girls
Feet on the ground
Watch their hair fly
Garden girls
Show me your world
Help me see life

The trees applaud your beauty,
The sun, it shines only to illuminate your eyes
The breeze, it only blows to caress your every curve.
What use do you have for the greed of man...
When the world loves you so.

The daily upset
The nightly unrest

A muse abused

Regret set in stone I feel alone..
I can't feel me as reopened are my wounds

Life in shambles I tread high waters through kindness' brambles, its hate from fate, its love from hate, its truth I can't debate..

A muse abused aptly used..

Taking solace in this night..
To survive the daily heart-hurt fight..

Midnight Rain
the memory of your
presence is felt like an earth//quake

as if my soul has everted,
my heart has been torn...

every wave of emotion
is felt like the first time.

i become a spineless,
speechless,
creature

curling into myself
and crying out the storm
that has lived within me

your presence is missed like
cold rain in summer,

like a scarlet fire drawn in the
center of winter,

and when Autumn
leaves fall like teardrops
from trees,

darling, you are missed
like a heartbeat falling from a
heart

and i shatter myself every day
from the earth//quakes your memory gave

and
you,

you... are missed
relentlessly,
most ardently...

you are the life within me now
and i cannot seep you out from
myself without
uprooting everything beautiful
you grew in me.

When I was much younger, beaches were my second favorite places. I still love watching waves as they go by, crashing against each other and the whole process repeating all over again.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

Tip toeing through twisted trails,
Suddenly slipping,
Spiriling slowly
Towards terror,
Feeling flustered from fear
Adrenaline awakes
and all
Emotions escape.
Instintly, igniting instincts
But blackouts being
Bringing
Disturbingly dark dreams
To the table.

Taking turns to
Relentlessly rip reality,
Rapidly reproducing
Unwanted unknowns - until
Eventually,
Everything explodes!

It's that moment
when the pieces
of the puzzle
all combine.

And you see a
glorious picture
that you doubted
that you'd find.

And then after
when the pieces
are inspected
each with care.

You see purpose
and see meaning
each too valuable
to spare.
This came to me all at once. It's an attempt to describe the feeling of your mind being blown when everything lines up and finally makes sense.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

Bless the breath your chest,
Rising and falling, lends you
while you motionless are resting.
Bless your stillness and your stirring,
Bless the ground on every path you're walking.
Make blissful every dream you're seeing.
Bless your heart for tirelessly working
So that you yourself may bless this world each day that you awaken.
Gratitude for every step you've taken that has brought you so close to me.
Seeing you breathe under the moonlight is such a thing of beauty!
