Goodbye to the tears rolling down my cheeks
Goodbye to the bleeding through my sheets
Goodbye to fighting a battle I'll never win.
Goodbye to a world full of sin.
Goodbye to a hopeless night.
Goodbye...I lost my fight.
Yeah idk This just kind of came out of my brain. I hope you guys like it!
I'm not saying dreams are a medicine
but I do feel better
when I'm somewhere else
running with my bare feet
on the hills chasing feelings
rather than awake but stay still
on the bed with soul in my eyes
going down to my cheek
as I think about how death is just a penalty.
Lost in Thought
I try to speak
I try to express myself
I try to be present

My words are silenced
My expressions are distorted
My mind is trapped

Locked away deep inside
Is me

Somewhere deep down I still exist
but to you
there exist only a shell

A shell to protect a child within
A shell to protect me from toxic love
A shell to protect me from love
A shell to protect me from love

I need love
work in progress. pointers appreciated

i would dip kisses on your freckled back, as though it were an arched door of a baroque cathedral. i would strain my arms cradling the frailty of your sadness. i would weave to my lips your whispers, made of cold and lonely december rust. i would dust my bones and flesh, and i would lie there next to you — a clean slate, in silence and awe and uninhibited longing. my love, we could stay like this for a while.

the streetlights flicker and the sunset blurs. but they know —
my heart has always been yours to break.
Highlight my bruises.
Illuminate Hidden confessions;

Like petals;
I roam from wonder to another
Yet Swiftly
I vanish.
David Hutton
You see my flesh, you see my colour.
Painted by my father and mother.
I'm not your picture,
to be viewed for pleasure.
Beneath this skin there's a lot to uncover.
your name
sounds like
a promise
to tell the truth
to hold my heart
to be with me
at eighty

If I see you
what I want to know is
where you are at.
I want to gauge you
by more than words -
by actions.

I want to tell you about me too
I now see, I've spent this life
denying my internal voice.
Doing what my head told me
over what my heart intuited.

I want to be listened to
in my small words and actions
in the small treasures of every day.

You brought alive in me
This feeling that my inner thoughts and musings
are worthy.
Not silly, inferior, or lesser.
I have been living and sharing them
(with my new poet friends) -
it is a great gift.

I didn't know that someone else
would find them interesting
and find them beautiful,
and be able to say:
me too.

You were the first for that.
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!
Traveler Tim

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again
Cold is the new you,
Never knew the last will do.
Last days of us,
A chapter with an end is a must.
hello, my nightbird.
did you sing your song today?
did they hear your dawn lullaby,
or did they kick you away?

the fault was never yours to begin with;
earth crumbles beneath my feet day after day,
but you flit
and feel no need to stay.

and that's fine. i mean it
when i say,
"i wouldn't have it any other way."
i meant it then, and i mean it now. have you seen the depths in your eyes? i've drowned in them before.
Jeremy Stacy
We’ve been here before haven’t we?
Two strangers could never love so passionately
I stare adamantly at your anatomy while you throw your debonair back at me
i love you,
and to prove it,
i need to end myself?
it's not  that I'm scared,
but i would die,
not knowing,
if you smiled,
when you knew,
i loved you more than myself
a lot of people **** themselves to show someone how they love them, but if you did you will never be able to know if your love for them, made them smile
You're the worst person I've ever known
I can't believe I let someone like you into my life
Months have gone by and I still resent you
I just can't get over everything you've done to me
It's hard to let go
You light up my cloudiest days and my darkest nights
My evening star, you shine so bright.

You warm up my coldest mornings and the windiest days. You make my fears go away.

You fill up my heart with love, laughter and light. You make my soul soar, lest take flight.
My beautiful sunflower,
of warm, yellow joy -
infectious - as sunshine
beams across our faces.

An abundance of petals,
golden in the light.
Growing toward the sun,
striving for perfection.

Our beautiful sunflower,
nurtured and thriving,
growing through my heart, warm
with happiness and love.
happiness of being in love? feels gross to read it now haha

Io ti raggiungo
E cerca di nasconderti nella tua luce
Ma tu appassisci al mio tocco
E svanisco nell'oscurità

Unlike any other poet
I want to write about you
Remember that
Genre: Haiku
Theme: That's it
Not so far away
Your soul
Is my home
Fingers of fire
Flaming desire
Flirting with strings
Melted angel wings
Acoustic profanity
Electric insanity
Liquid bricks in your heart
Tearing you apart
A nuclear star
Now that is the sound of a proper guitar!
Nothing quite like it
you are a flower
so tender and dear
as i clutch you next to my still, beating heart

you are a flower
so tender and dear
even as your petals fall apart

you are a flower
so tender and dear
dripping honey into my sincere soul

you are a flower
so tender and dear
and your beauty is vibrant, as your life fades

you are a flower
so tender and dear
beloved by many, and feared by some,

you are a flower
so tender and dear
and, your beauty eternal, as it is ephemeral,

you are a flower
so tender and dear
as my last wish is to be enveloped in your finite love

as you lay, your words i cherished are etched in stone,
you were a flower
so tender and dear

musing about
the beauty & finiteness
of flowers & life

( & a rough practice of
repetition & imagery ! )

I am no longer interested
in the pain of truth
But I sleep easy with deceit
It is by far
the easier feat

My love, promise you’ll always flaunt your smile.
It's used as the blueprint that guides the moon!
That soft silver sliver mimics your style;
a beautiful crescent, that will grow soon.

Each day the moon must surely admire you.
When the night falls, like a lighthouse‘s glow,
it leads lost sailors through the ocean blue.
Your grin too guides me, on the earth below.

But oh my dear, how dark that night will be;
if your smile is eclipsed, so none can see.

Time flies by so fast then its past

Remember special moments always last

So make some memories to treasure

Each day have and give some pleasure

So when second chances do come by

To love again say yes reach for the sky

Because I love the moments in time

When you're with me and you are mine

Cherish and relish everyday while you can

Precious are the moments when love is the plan
make every moment count
Smile because

Someday everything will be okay
Might not be today but one day so
In the meantime
Live life and
Exist in the moment

He was supposed to survive the war
To crush his enemies and never flinch
Beware of dangers, be always ready
To live the horrors that skin you alive
They make you bleed
The poor man's blood
Pours down the trenches
In dreadful stench
He looks at the skyfall
But never sees it
Behind the curtain
Of blood and tears.
He belongs to nothing
And nothing fears.
allowed to admit
these letters
are losing meaning
some days
i don't want to be me

some days i don't want
to be a person
Tomorrow is the future
Today is the last day
Yesterday I made promises
Last week I stayed away
Last month I caved in
To moodiness and lack of discipline
Look forward to the day after tomorrow
When I shall bathe in glory and sin

There’s nothing more beautiful than that little notification bubble
Because it means someone saw you
His face
The sight brings a smile to yours
His eyes
You can stare into them forever
His lips
You wish you can kiss them
His hands
You wish you can intertwine them with yours
His mind
It intrigues you
His soul
You can love it for eternity
His heart
It doesn't belong to you
Fire and mortar
Dust to dust
The sky stained red
From ashes and rust
The flames reach new heights.
They lick the sky,
Burning new trenches.
I wish I could say why.
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
let us be the frame that grasps the glass--the pane, a path, that love may pass. let us loose the hinge, jibe the clime, and freeze the freeze; else dusk the sun’s bright shine, suspend its fervid climb. and, dear, let us open and close with the day, breathe in what beams may stray. what Life propose, we will enclose, ingest along the way.

Heaven I leave
Down I come
Connect with you
Accept or Reject
I need you
And You need me too
You were
My sigh of relief
And now
You’re gone
And I’m sitting here
Gasping for air
you never asked to read my poetry
maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.
red flags went up everywhere, but i didn’t bother looking
January girl
eyes wide with hope

January girl
smile once wide with joy

January girl
where are you hiding
and why

January girl
will you tell me,
trust me

January girl
the winter will be over soon

January girl
I have a fire lit for you
come inside or let me in
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.
Minds unwind
As the waves soothe their souls
Filling them up with golden serenity

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.
I'm so close to death
that his breathing seems
to fan my face
