And the acrid breeze will burn our eyes
The conflagration may scorch

We want the warmth to keep us safe
Show us what we never had

Obscured in the gray, dark mist
I see you clearly in the glow

You keep talking about the smoke
But all I see is the fire

I’m sorry for all the lies
The mean words that hurt.
The long nights of screaming
I didn’t mean any of it.
I love her.
My heart stops when I hear her voice.
How to prove to the world that I’m enough?
I won’t stop loving her.
I will sell my soul for this,
Never stop looking if she moves.
I find my other half
She would be here with me
If it wasn’t for you.

I could drown in your eyes,
I could faint in your smile.
I could laugh at your lies,
I could leave for a while.

I don't leave when your staring in my eyes,
I don't leave when your making me smile.
I don't leave when you tell me your lies,
I could never leave for a little while.

So why do you?
Sorry about not posting daily, have been very busy. Please enjoy!

"do not come in"
on my heart's door,

LOVE laughed and said;
sorry, I was blind...
it all started then ...    #****** up

Little by little your tiny hands
And soft cheeks, you're so close to me
Unravel into each other

Remembering the every day magic
Ernest and shy.
Nervous and happy.

And.

Lovely alone time with you.
At last a moment together
You and a view, take me now.

Kisses so soft and gentle
Under the sun setting sky
Nearly sixty thousand people cheered for us

ok okay
So many people focus on finding love
I'm too busy finding myself
Next to the white painted fence
Underneath the old apple tree
My love of many years
Has promised to wait for me

Don’t be late was her message
Get here as fast as you can
A million leaves blew from the trees
When through the streets I ran and I ran

I got there and saw her smiling
Our arms embraced the day
But the problem with beautiful dreaming
Is that reality gets in the way

Then I remembered the daylight
And the birds were singing then
Please god do the impossible
And make this my dream again

The slavehand burns the leaves though the bodies of soldiers
Lie at heaven’s impasse in the trees of dying looks, barring them
From peaceful death, the sad emulsified perch of love and heat,
Hung at noon like John Brown untended, bearded of sticky summer,
Heavy-headed swinging noon and the smell of honeysuckle blood,
Fetid day like the coming dirt of graves, the clinging air of disease,
Snake-winding down from the trees with no pleasure of the bitten apple.

I LIKE TO SAY YOUR NAME

I like to say
your name

when you're
not here

turn you
into sound

conjure you out of
thin air

so that you appear
before me

dressed in sound
only

memory sketching in
the rest of you

as if sound
was just an outline

and love
colours you in

adding the voice last
so I can hear you say.

"Hello you..!"
and there you are

as present
as present

can be.

I like to say
your name

when you're
not there.

To keep myself from hurting you...

With the thoughts begging to become actions...

The night is filling up
with white wine and
other people's laughter,
but you are asleep,
moon-touched.
Can you hear the sea,
from your corner
windows, lapping
the stonework until
it's faceless?
Can you catch
that brief scent
of snow, before
the clouds dive?

No matter if you can't.
I send this
to tell you
what you are -
a flash of truth.

There is sunlight in your eyes
and it is a place
I wish I could
escape to.
It is warm
and I am cold.

There is sunlight in your eyes
and I know
it does not
live in mine.
This cave I hide in
does not have room
for you.

There is sunlight in your eyes,
in the world
I used to be in.
Nothing grows here
anymore,
but weeds
and a grey sad.
My hands are covered with it.

There is sunlight in your eyes.
You are alive.
I don’t know what that feels like.

tell me,
what is it about the
unknown that leaves
my mind unsatisfied?

If the camellia
only blooms in the
bitter frost,

why must others wilt?
when the rain lands on
the little girl’s raincoat,
why does it form droplets?

when she sits in class,
alabaster skin with the face
of a doll
why
can I not
read
her?

Softly she speaks
with confidence
and poise.
her words trap me
in a prism:
a confined cage
of intoxication
and mysticism

She’s stuck
in the modern times
trapped in the 60s.

Help me,
all I ask
is to seek answers
about the ambiguity
of her
as she extends far beyond the field
of vision,
to no longer remain
a mystery.

Cupped hand on chin watching
people having a good time on Lennox avenue.
Have you ever read a Cummings poem then read it again
and watch the content change from innocent to perverse?

In the clubs conversation swirls much like that,
flat intonation minus punctuation, do they flirt or flip you off?

In my room backlit by a bare bulb
the numbness in my arms and mind escalates;
poetry is sometimes a gift filled with healing power,
at other times its abandonment feels like a curse.
Vague face in the mist, my sometimes talent
turns on me leaving me forsaken..
Chasing words is like trying to catch the tail of a comet,
the symbols manifest in strange tattoos
while the alignment looks totally alien.
The hour is late and my eyes burn with exhaustion
yet I won't submit to the shadowy being
who snidely smiles and sprinkles sand.

i look up at the moon
wondering if you're seeing the same
or if you're seeing the sun
but one day
we will see the same
one day
we will be under the same roof
in the same bed
as lovers
who use to see different
i felt embarrassed writing this.

Hiding behind fake facades
of forced smiles and laughter.
Lying through gritted teeth
that I have not lay harm to myself once more,
whilst the sting from my skin is only just bearable.

Being alone is the scariest time
as I feel like there is no where to go
but down a swirling rabbit hole of never being enough.
I try and catch myself before its too late
but I have yet taken to hurting myself once more.

Shaking uncontrollably,
trying not to crack
and cry the tears that threaten to spill.
If only the words for help would fall so easily,
maybe I would no longer suffer in desolate silence.

Tonight I die with you a little silent touch of letting go of life's ballast we do not profit from to keep just sleep my sweet my love quietly soothing inside a precious precious shine a glow like liquid gold warm like sun on earth and you in between so many touches and soothing words and beams of golden light warm so rich of everything we need now sleep and know you'll be you'll stay forever like the warming sun she flows through air and warms our hearts where you will be forever my eternal friend

It's alright to be scared
It's alright to feel sad
Even lonely, hopeless and bad
We wish for you to continue to breathe
To say goodbye in peace
At the moment you please
If you're lonely then know we are with you
If you're sad then be sure we remember your joy
It is hard to see your suffering
Let us be your pillow to find rest upon
We're here
We will carry you
Your pain
Your sadness
Your fear
Your life
Unforgotten
My dear

I love you
Doesn't mean I love you

It means your eyes
Are deep enough
For me to dive in
And trust the waters
To keep my secrets

It means your lips
Are never harsh upon me
And they make me happy
Every single time they open

It means your hands
Are with you always
Except when I call them
To hug me and leave traces on me

It means your ears
Never get tired of
What my lips convey
And never will , they respond

It means your heart
Has touched my heart
And they'll never get apart
Like they are in a hug for eternity

It means you are special
It means you are mine
So I can be possessive
And you'll say nothing
I can be jealous too
And you'll never see
My hand leave yours
Or our hearts leave the hug

You are mine
And you will remain mine

she is a happy ending,
not everyone can wait for.
Flaws don't absolve us of responsibility, yet they erode our agency
by compromising one's decision-making ability.
Sometimes I don't even know how I'm alive, but I promise I'll try
to do right by myself and live to my potential.
I find beauty in dark places
Love in mysterious ways
Comfort in unbelievable happenings
I'm not weird
I just pay attention to things others neglect.
Life isn't worth living if it's viewed in one perspective

Dear HP,

This is not a poem
But a question
The answer to which
I do hope you have

Why does my lover claim to love me
But still looks for every opportunity
To let me go?

Is it that she loves me so much
But doesn't think she's worthy of me

Or she doesn't love me enough
To think I'm worthy of her?

It’s beautiful,
That humans aren’t perfect.

That we're all completely flawed,
And full of mistakes.

We’re all imperfect,
And it’s a beautiful sight to behold.

Poems aren't written,
they're found,
Somewhere in your head the words are waiting,
They're sprawled across the floor,
You just need to pick them up,
Make a path with them,
Let your path guide observers,
And if you can't write,
Walk down somebody's else's path first,
First poem I've written, to anybody who reads this is hope you enjoyed it and it made you day a little better

Is there any buddy out there?

Am I the only one?

Could this be the end?

Is this site said and done?

Shall I post 1 million words and read them to myself

Shall I write 1 million poems and place them on a shelf

Within the womb
With in the mother
Have I yet to discover
Light beyond the darkness
Forcing me to breathe
Is there anybody out there
Or am I all alone
Life is but a dream
We cannot control
