Shadow Dragon
Get a job,
a husband or wife.
Make yourself comfortable
in your own life.
So they tell me
or would have told me
if they were still alive.
But they are dying slowly
by the magic pills.
They are no longer there
to protect and care.
I no longer have devils
that whisper and scream.
They can do both
but now they are doing non.
And I can see myself having fun,
not caring or staring
into nothingness.
Yet it leaves me in mourning
to know they are about to die.
Maybe if I hold on a little longer
I won't be lonely and then find myself
a job, husband or wife.

I want to grow out of words but I haven't tried all of them on yet.
Could color and shape explain the illusion with more clarity?
Even when I'm comfortable, I'm depressed.
I can't see life for what it is
just like how I can't see the earthrise and the sunset simultaneously.
I have to numb myself from my self.
It's the only way to make sense of the toxic rainbows.

When I wake
Please give me a kiss
On my forehead

When I wake
Let’s make coffee together
And dance around in our underwear

When I wake
Can we make
Blueberry muffins?

When I wake
Can you still
Be here?

all
is
never enough
between
me you and i
both
spring and winter
have
gone by
still
things
same to multiply
between us
yet
our
love has not change
yeah baby
this
love ain't no game
this
love is real
as love
revolves around
the
golden sun
when
i
just think about
the
laughter
in
your sweet smile
love fill every ocean
since the beginning of time
and
i can truly say
lord
you me and i
feel this way

because she knows you would hurt.
for the feelings that run through her veins
are almost too much for her too carry

so deep if she told you,
you would drown

The breakup was
the best thing that
ever happened to me.
I lost everything except
my dignity.
I escaped with my soul.
She tried to buy it with
Sushi and Thai food,
but it's not for sale.
I would rather
freeze and be free,
than die warm in her cage.
No amount of love can
fix that abysmal madness;
that car crash confusion.
Daisies withered when she
walked by.
Her heart was rotten, like
an STD, like a
fish hook to the eye.
Some relationships are toxic

i missed you
as the leaves grew back
and the sky turned blue

the world grew warm

It was about time
of a fleeting moment;
a good conversation with
a caffeine smelled breath,
we get shy on our little stories,
yet it was a wonderful feeling.
We are laughing like a child
for knowing, things were getting right
and for every minute that comes,
I know you were mine.

The intensity of my anger surprised you
But left me feeling forlorn and deeply unhappy
Filled with gloom and resentment
My distress was clear ,tormenting you

Your sensitivity and emotions suprised me
You could have alienated me
Instead you folded me warmly into your embrace
and surrounded me with love and passion

Instead of loneliness and seclusion
We had happiness and adoration
A deeper understanding
And a tenderness I never expected

We are going to be okay.
Now that I know what it is to be loved by you, I could wait an eternity for our  moments together.
Every day I have with you ends far too soon.
Each day away from you, feels a lifetime.
This distance apart is our price to pay,
but we,
we'll always be worth it.

my life line moves across
your chest
your love line inches towards
my lower back
reading your palms
under the thin covers
summer air blows into our hair
permeating the smell
of grass and warm flowers

we embrace
the unknowable future crushed
between our palms.
reminds me of romeo and juliet when they first met, they fell in love through touching their hands.

I thought you would be the one to save my soul
This game has gotten old
You can’t keep on playing with me
I’ve always been history
You broke all we built more like what I built
You already make me deal with all the guilt
I’ll never move on from your poisonous love
I wanna hurt you with a boxing glove
It’s 6 am I’m in my bed and awake
I’m just another thing you wanted to break
This is all because of cupid
I’m so stupid
I wanna be alone
And stop falling for stupid boys

forbidden in
my mouth

because when
i think about
you;

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that

I LIKE TO SAY YOUR NAME

I like to say
your name

when you're
not here

turn you
into sound

conjure you out of
thin air

so that you appear
before me

dressed in sound
only

memory sketching in
the rest of you

as if sound
was just an outline

and love
colours you in

adding the voice last
so I can hear you say.

"Hello you..!"
and there you are

as present
as present

can be.

I like to say
your name

when you're
not there.

They say that there are two kinds of love,
one love united because of  courage and other simply by fate,

They say that there are two kinds of love,
one that leave you with pain and tears,
and the one that stays and lasts  for years,

They say that there are two kinds of love,
the right love at the wrong time,
and the wrong love at the right time,

They say that there are two kinds of love,
I couldn't tell at all where the love we used to have belonged
because, you were my right love and the right time,
but then, maybe I was your wrong love at the wrong time.

They say that there are two kinds of love,
one love that's build by affection and trust
other one was built just to get away from the pain of the past love,

One question:
Which love was yours?

They will tell you
All poetry has been written
There is nothing new
Under the moon
But let me tell you
They don’t know you
You are as unique
As the DNA that exists
Within your frame
The ripples on your thumbprint
No one ever had the same.

Listen...

You have something to say
Say it proudly
Say it boldly
Never let them scold you.

Never let them make you go away.
I love it when someone tells me to keep writing. You should keep writing too!

The singing rain
touch down
on the ground.

The sun swims down
eyes on the river dance
rhyming with the water
the sea is never far.

The light of heaven
keeps hanging low.
Bestows on the dust
some shimmering
rays of gold.
For its wishes
just has one more:
When the rain is done
and the rose is out
sipping in the last drop.
Beneath that it will
step in its best foot
with all the sky blue.

The sun is rolling down
Oops on the halfway
down the sky
it takes a pause.
The run in the water
is never gone.
Off the neigh null
of the last raindrop
flowers a rainbow!

Deep down the core
the giant earth
is caught in a dew!

Let alone the billowy
seven seas give
the stunned earth a push.
The full geometric spread
of the solar world, it can pull!

Yet to catch up with the run
in the water drop in its core!!

OCD
This disease struck me
Like a brick on pavement
Hard

Everything was
Perfect
Then that brick came along
And with the slightest movement
Destroyed everything

“Count it
Perfect it
Measure it
Clean it”
The voices say

Why can’t I let them go?
They keep repeating:

“Count it
Perfect it
Measure it
Clean it”
Why won’t they stop

“Count it
Perfect it
Measure it
Clean it”
I don’t understand

“Count it
Perfect it
Measure it
Clean it”
Someone just HELP me understand

This disease is about
Perfection
But it's the biggest
Imperfection about me

Feint blue lines
a red margin.
So crushingly lonely too.
It's not what I ever want for you.
For me to copy overleaf
wet with blue holes.
But oh God do I want for you.
So many nights I prayed
and now you're here.
The nib drags at the paper.
My copy book was right
and I pray some more
that you won't
suffer
for my poor handwriting.
