your face
in abstract shades

solid features like
eyes ears and nose

fell prey
to brush and blender

transformed now
into degrees of moon glow

Abstract Word  Painting. De-personification of the moon.
Ashly Kocher
My soul is on fire from the bleeding heart
Shooting sparks every time you get
Explosives ahead.....
Spring, what a beautiful word. Life's ebb and flow recreate's when plants begin to grow.

Temperatures rise and skies get inspires and my heart is stirred.

Hard times seem to melt away in a seasonal glow...change becomes easier knowing the days are longer...

challenges become less tedious when one feels stronger. Progress may seem less, but even so,

there is a release of hope; as this transitional time leaves behind hidden tools to cope.
Happiness I've found
Crossing seas mountains and skies
For the simplicity of feeling
My future in your eyes
Together we'll suffer ecstacy
Pain, passion, exquisite tears
Longing, but no longer alone
Between kisses spanning years

Heal the parts of you
you were destined
too heal
The parts God carefully
carved into your
The flesh and bone
that made you raw
That bled your soul
That destroyed you
That moulded you
into a warrior

That will bless you
with the eyes of
And tears of angels
will rain down like
holy water
Cleaning your spirit
Giving back the
innocences of freedom
that know no boundaries
of love

And you will be found
Stuffing brittle remnants of dead little bits,
crammed in a stovepipe shaft
had lighted and lit up a huge fireball
over all of my peers and enemies.

It wasn't hard to see at all,
unless you liked living under a rock like me.

It was the sort of thing you regret never having saw,
and the sort of thing, if you were you
you would never see.
When the sun is down
The moon comes around to try & hug her
Night & day are lovers
Forever chasing each other
An endless endeavour like no other
They are meant for one another
Hiding their feelings behind the Earth's cover
During dusk & dawn, they blend their colours
It's their love they utter
The moon adores the sun more during summer
In awe of her in her element
Surrounded by stars, he stays celibate
Astounded by her being above par
Far above, yet still with benevolence
No one comes close, they're irrelevant
Shines so bright, she must be heaven sent
You played me like a poker game
Your love was a bad hand of cards
“Bet it all”
Said the dealer
“Be my queen of hearts”
I handed myself over
Hoping I’d be enough
I wish I could’ve seen it
I wish I called your bluff

Google maps says
it will take me
21 days to
walk to you.
Just enough time
to break the habit
of thinking
that I need to.
It’s all i want.

But i’m not worth what i want.
Cry me a river little girl
He whispered softly in her ear
Don’t worry it won’t really hurt
You will endure it

Cry me a river, my sweet child
Let me collect your crystal tears
You’ve always been the chosen one
To give me what I need

Cry me a river pure of heart
I want to touch so deep inside
And even if you’re torn apart
I will not stop

Cry me a river little one
I have my plan to follow up
You’ll understand it in your time
Now, let me get to work.
Words mean nothing
When it comes to your desires
I ride waves,
deeply unaware
of how long.
I ride waves,
afraid to face
what will wash
up from the sea.
I dive in slowly,
As if seconds
last forever,
but in just minutes
I’m face to face
with the silent ticks
of each gone hour.
A child wish to be a man
as early as he can
for he has things to prove
he does not like to be called a kid
for he has things to prove
to himself and everyone

A man wish to be a child
be free from his duties
a wishful thinking
for he has family to care
he has to earn and plan
for himself and everyone

My periods turn to semicolons
My suicide notes to poetry
My goodbyes become hellos
The blades turn to sunflowers
And the bullets, a rose
My heart still is broken
But the pieces have been found
Death isn’t for me anymore
What is, in the here and now
I still don’t feel enough
But I am alive
And that’s enough to say
Today is not the day I die.
Maciej Miernik
Nothing much to say,
time flows at its fastest pace,
when I love you hard.
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Explanation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!
Traveler Tim
No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect
I love you all!!

Welcome aboard newbies!!!

Who said explanation marks were merely laughing at your own joke?!

Actually my grand daughter gave me this poem!

dear idol i
want to be like you

dear idol i
want to be you

scratched your name into my arm
your face is my tattoo
your tattoo is my face

i've been listening a decade
to your lyrics i'm all

'bout it
wit it

re-in up
bossed up
fetish for dough

baby i'll be yours
take me as a gift

my game tizzop
as tender as the steak on our weekends family dinner

as soft as my pillow on the school morning

as warm as 6 pm beach sand while walking towards the sunset

brown like a sweet caramel dropped on vanilla ice cream
the way you looked at me

I love you and I hate myself for it but I’d never stop loving you to love myself
We’ve come full circle

Started with me
Where you are now.

Five seven five you know
Tells you secrets for real
Or a game may be
A little fun with haikus
Sometimes it’s just easier to be crazy
Than it is to deal with sanity

This clarity is painful
So I’ll find a substance to make it go away

the wrong one
will find you in peace
and end up leaving you in pieces

only the right one
can find you in pieces
and guide you to peace
Fake smile
Dried eyes
Scratched wrists
Bruised thighs
White pills
Rope tied
Gun loaded
He looked at me,
The way the sky looks at the rain,
Waiting for patiently for the relief.
Hands intertwining around my waist like vines,
Every touch felt.
Warm lips pressed against mine that has been worn.
Heal them I say as if they have been broken so many times before.
I love you,
I love you.
Our love is inevitable.

Spring will have it's way
as Winter puts
its bristling souvenir
of empty bed to rest
behind the eyes
of blue birds
asleep in the sun

as I watch her
in her chair
pen in hand
a light beyond
the rainy rose
my bleak plantings
turned to bloom
as I listen
to her songs
Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.
Viji Vishwanath
Your thinking makes your life good or bad
It can mould from simple to
complicated one

Likewise your deeds are your own actions
Which can save you if it is good
And will be rewarded if is best

But if it is bad here is no escape and no excuse
Just be ready to accept the consequences of your deeds

God is a healer if you are pure
But can be a burner if you are a liar

So always think twice or thrice before doing anything
Because you will suffer definitely for doing wrong thing

Especially because God made each of us unique and precious
And thus this court is considered the best one
Which makes the justice most unbiased.
Best unbiased court is of God’s
ok okay
Pretty people get jobs easier
I wonder if they get accepted into heaven easier as well
Your love
The spirit of spring
I shed a tear
and for the first time

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

Everything is
But yet it’s
Into place
was it, is it
worth it

your heart
breaks different
when it beats
idk something that just popped into my head
When you know
That they

Love someone else

There is a motion, a spin of worlds

collides inside my mind.

I watch you walk glue to the hind

of deep desires, the Latin blood

surge through your veins,

your skin in dark, my mind a flood

of dreams and wants,

I watch you walk.

How could I run the curve of you

in pleasure pains,

my hands to steer on every turn

and let you drive me

around a place of no return-

These hips are magic hips.
I have known them
