I am a monster
just like my mother
ignorant of the feelings of others
so self obsessed
hyper-focused on being more
getting more
earning more
ignoring my own feelings
convictions
my own self
I was bred to be like a racehorse
in the rat race
and I hurt the ones that love me
because of it
and it hurts
hurting her
when she has loved me
like nothing else
like no one else
I've been a monster

your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about
you;

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that

it's a question for you Lord
as we advance in years
why does hair fall from our heads
and grow in our ears?
why do our teeth rot
while our toenails grow faster?
will we need deodorant
in the ever-after?
why do our guts expand
while our butts retreat?
we wear the same belt size
yet we can't see our feet
we use but 10 percent of our brains
so why can't we tap into the 90 that remains
when we walk into the kitchen
and can't recall why
or remember to get the car inspected in October
when it was due in July
Perhaps I'm being fussy Lord
imperfection may be our salvation
but please just answer this final question...
who'd you put in charge
when you took a vacation?
always had the question about why hair grows in our ears as we get older

I stand in the water
Face towards the deep black ocean
Beckoning the titanic tidal wave
That has emerged from the depths of the sea

To come,
Crash over me
Barrel me down
Until I am but a tangle of limbs

Then I will resurface
Baptized in your shadow
My sins drawn out by the rough waters
My wickedness carried out in the waves

You stand next to me
Unmoved
Take my hand
And off we go.

That's the Name.
Upon the Winter wind I came.
Slipping through cracks in the ice.

Grasping your tongue and forcing a word.
Whispering secrets you've never heard.
Tumbling them over thrice.

Or maybe four times.
Sometimes just to see what rhymes.
But always letting my soul speak.

So I'll cross my t's and dot my i's.
To spill my heart out on blue lines.
Until I'm old and blind and weak.

But even then you'll hear my stories,
When the wind brings cold and winter flurries.
Ill wisp away your hidden worries,
And bury them deep in the rocks.

So you can find them in the spring,
covered in moss and flowery things.
And you'll await the next solstice for Sythin Voxe.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

Talking about Life, not mine, but mine too
Deciduous trees, stand, side by side
Branches entwined
A crow couple cozied up, on a high branch
And the sun shone upon the two
The morning light, a beautiful sight
Below I stood, watching the two
As the brown leaves fell like confetti
Smiling in hues
A great start to my day :)
Have always loved those trees, close to a grocery which i frequent :)
And today the crows and the morning sun added to the beauty:)

You.

Me
Knowing and not knowing,
Afraid and clueless.
Me.

Us
A thing that used to be,
The dust on the mantle.
Us.

We
Will never be the same
The blood that was spilled across the floor.
We.

This crime scene filled with pain and sorrow and regret.  The murderer and the victim one in the same—but also separate.  Two hearts that both dance to the same miserable song.
Oof...  I wrote this one a while ago...

On a night like last I sat fearing,
Looking at the wall, almost peering.
The depths in each crack seemed endless,
It’s volume etched into my remembrance.

A certain feeling aroused a subtle gleaming.
In this darkness, our darkness began teeming.
In that moment, my lungs stopped the rhythmic breathing,
And my life swiftly ended by a tiny widow’s scheming.
I tried an impression of Edgar Allan Poe, how’d I do?

Tuesday night and
you've accepted
the proposal, yet
under the chandelier
of mistaken fireflies
you half-smile,

a drawn curtain
that I can read
enough to worry,
to feel
the body
move away.

The rest of the night
is a sharp nerve,
& gray fingers
of a fog slip
down the street,
thin and ashamed.

Get a job,
a husband or wife.
Make yourself comfortable
in your own life.
So they tell me
or would have told me
if they were still alive.
But they are dying slowly
by the magic pills.
They are no longer there
to protect and care.
I no longer have devils
that whisper and scream.
They can do both
but now they are doing non.
And I can see myself having fun,
not caring or staring
into nothingness.
Yet it leaves me in mourning
to know they are about to die.
Maybe if I hold on a little longer
I won't be lonely and then find myself
a job, husband or wife.

Will you be my friend
Asking for a friend
Tell me you want to
So it can be the end
I'm begging for a breath
But you wouldn't believe me
I just want an answer
To resolve this cancer oh
Will you
just be my
friend.

Standing beside our room
I keep on seeing you
I feel like I'm high on a dream
A nightmare that's coming true
It's like it was all just a plan
A plan that I'm just drowning in oh
why won't
just won't you
come on just
become my
friend.

Plastic wrapped, silver fabricate,
Pretending i'm alright, but fearing
So much I can't take
Losing my oh my mind
Somebody
h e l p me
I feel that I just might die
Isn't that l o v e l y...

Why won't you
Just will you
Come on i can't breathe
I'm losing
Confusing
It's harder to see
These games I
Fading mind
Oh lord why why I
cant
if you don't
then i won't
so will you

I LIKE TO SAY YOUR NAME

I like to say
your name

when you're
not here

turn you
into sound

conjure you out of
thin air

so that you appear
before me

dressed in sound
only

memory sketching in
the rest of you

as if sound
was just an outline

and love
colours you in

adding the voice last
so I can hear you say.

"Hello you..!"
and there you are

as present
as present

can be.

I like to say
your name

when you're
not there.

stands in the long queue along with million others,
waiting to be stamped
with the big, bold letters

What lies
in the future is unknown
to me and everything
we share right now remains trapped in the
cage of uncertainty.

A standstill.
A in-emotionalized verse,
I touch corners,
But middles came undone

I touch wood,
Curse the metals,
Of all that couldn't be changed,
I love and too deeply,
But not enough if i must
i WRITE THOUGHTS IN POEMS,
But come undone in sentencing words,
i love you,
but i don't,

I hate life,
but i wont,
i need you,
i care too much to,
i need you,
but i love you,
and that is enough...
that's
enough

Harmony, Truth, & Power
Comes through Love.
Never by manipulation.
Never by force.
Light seeking Light
Power & Truth opening Spirit
Embracing ...
Heart to Heart
Every spark within
Every world and every universe
Unfolding within each Mother ****.
The Inner Spark of each creative dance
Expanding eternally, into infinity...
Never by force.
Never by manipulation.
It comes through Love
Harmony, Truth & Power
We each have an inner spark of the Divine within us.
It is a continuation of all life force, beyond time.
It is powered through the Love created at a zero point within our heart that is connected to the first, divine zero point.

If I had know that I was going to write a poem about you I wouldn't have
If I known I would fall in love with you
I would have never met you
And if I had known how much I would hurt
I would have already been dead

But that's not the way that it works, is it?
We are to find love
Find pain
And everything that goes with
But I never wanted this I never wanted to feel
I hated it so much
You hated me so much
But I can't do much about it now,
Can I?

If I had know
I would never had felt this way
I would have never had my heart leap
And jump out of my chest
If I had known
So much would be different
And you would be long gone

i never take advantage
of being able to
peer into your welcoming eyes because
it reminds me that in the midst
of dark
there is always light
and i feel your heavy heart
but tender hand tighten in mine
dreams and reality
we blur the lines
in actuality
yet everyone confuses
love with lust
but it's clear to see
the way you stimulate my mind
effortlessly
you were meant for
me
and there's no place we'd rather be

They will tell you
All poetry has been written
There is nothing new
Under the moon
But let me tell you
They don’t know you
You are as unique
As the DNA that exists
Within your frame
The ripples on your thumbprint
No one ever had the same.

Listen...

You have something to say
Say it proudly
Say it boldly
Never let them scold you.

Never let them make you go away.
I love it when someone tells me to keep writing. You should keep writing too!

In a planned crime
The victim feels the attack
Some by talks; some by writes
Requests make some traps

The heart remains to be true even if it is a religious discourse
If the third person listens, sees, or reads
There is a chance that the innocent get saved
Otherwise, crime is a trait by nature; no chance survival

Bubbles are forming
As my breath leaves me,
Ripples on the Surface
As I go underneath.

Deep in the Sea

The sand glitters
Pears glistening
Hidden wonders sparkle
Running through my hands.

Deep in the Sea

Blue is no longer blue
Shades of black and purple
Begin to seep through
And confuse my vision.

Deep in the Sea

Calls from creatures
Songs from sirens
Rushing of water
Reverberate inside me.

Deep in the Sea

I lose sense of me
Becoming nothing
Yet still something
As I float aimlessly.
