The earth within has been such dry hard ground yet walk I must. For just beyond is a hidden trail, where a magical river of the purest water flows free.

Here and only here my heart can be revived, and my mind is stilled by the silence I find. Love’s call is gentle. The air, here, has been so thin, yet breath I must.

For in the obedience, I can see his hand move and his voice grow stronger still as I cling to his word by his spirit. Love’s call is faithful.

The fire reveals his heart, and I am not afraid. The path is clear. I must remain so I can hear. His call is hope. I must draw near. His call is “LOVE.

what a rush.

time goes by,
too fast?
too slow?

awkward stares

evening comes,
what a distraction.

think of the day

Waken up again
from a nightmare of sin
can’t shake these feelings that you bring
or the evil song you sing
trying so hard to heal
but I’m wrapped up in the Devil’s deal

Sleeping so peacefully
with happy dreams I do believe
every breath is calm and pure
dreaming of happiness I’m sure
you’ve already paid your dues
now your dreams are peaceful and true

Lost

I was lost and scared.
     I didn’t know where I was going.

Everything around me was collapsing.

  Nothing seemed to help.
          I was hopeless.

But one day.

I met you.
You helped me find my way.

Whispers,
Wonders.

But better is the skeleton
kept in the closet.

It will never be
the right weather
for a coat of bones.

Set me on fire;
Put a match to my clothes
Watch me rise in a pillar of flame,
Listen to my livid screams of pain.
Feel my existence slowly fade
As my body finishes fueling the glow,
As my screams mellow into the silent cracks.

In time, the fire will turn to embering ash.
I will have been consumed by a long gone inferno.
And when I have been burned to the ground,
I know that the only place I can go is up.
Im not sure why I write so much about fire. I mean I don’t think it describes me or anything.

I didn't think losing you will lead to loneliness
Ah! that was in the beginning;
Not anymore.
The hurt ended when we let our love fade away,
I got a deeper understanding of where the anger came from.
I loved you to the last millimeter of your body and soul.
but  now I understand the fine line between love and hate.
the love found is now lost.

MY favorite word Today!
○°•SERENDIPITY
Treasure of a word
From the story I read
Like the sight of a crashing wave on the edge of the deep blue see
Serendipity's similarity to waves crashing as we break from Our comfort zones
They lead us to insights to call our own
Horace Mann, Walpole came up with this terminology
When he came across treasure of unexpected discovery
A lost painting of Bianca Cappello
By: Giogio Vasari
A Persian fairy tale
The Princes of Serendip
A Tale like the word
A treasure,

They said rest in peace when I died.
I wish they would've said the same to the piece of me that was alive.
Because nobody cares until you die.

And I started drawing you

I dream and I dream,
Sometimes life is not all that it seems,
I think and I think,
Just letting all these emotions sink.

The only fire
That burns
Your heart
And
Makes you
“SHINE”
Is
The Fire
Of love
Burn
The self
As much
As you can
Keep shinning
In
Love
Bear the pain
Yet
Keep shining

Small movements of the chest
in and out
She's trying her best

Small rolling of the tear
down her face
No one wants to be near

Small shiver of the hand
up and down
So cold she can't stand

Small tap of the feet
as she cries
all 'cause of a tweet

In Heaven above
Or Hell below?

When Buddy gave her a sloppy wet kiss.
She felt so wrapped up in love.
Buddy was her pet toy poddle.
He was more delightful than a bowl of noodles.
Buddy was her best friend.
Only death could make their friendship end.

We bend,
We fold,
But we do not break.
We sweat,
We bleed,
We bruise,
But we never quit.
We cry,
We hurt,
But somehow we still love...
The things we endure for love

The sun
Now shortened
It goes crying in
Deprived
Of kissing
Your perfect
Soft skin
Since the sun is brief in winter.  I thought this poem should reflect that.

The human experience
is one that is a complex journey.
We must search for it.
Looking high and low,
near and far,
in the distant past,
in the ever-nearing future.
We never stop looking

The river knows no bounds.
It flows into oceans down mountains like feathers from clouds,
Heavy and loud,
Heavens to ground,
Where love is in death,
And the river knows no bounds.

So much to look forward to
So much between me and you
All the things we’re gonna do
I can’t wait to make them true

Squeezing lemons, dance-offs too
Road trips, camping, skies of blue
Stuck together just like glue
I can’t wait til time comes through

Into my life my soulmate flew
Hope and love are born anew
I can’t wait to make it true
That’s why I can wait forever for you

Green has
always been my
favorite eye color, now
I know why. I'm drowning
in a pool of green and I have no
desire to be rescued. You could pull
me under, keep me within an arms reach
of oxygen, and I'd still call your arms home

I saw you sitting
In the sands of yesterday,
Eyes blinkered to the world.

In endless dunes
On the shoreline's edge
You dipped your toes,
In brief surrender.

I was in the flow of today
Carefree with the waves,
But your warm touch
Filled my depths,
And I became crashing,
Severed from purpose.

We spoke of tomorrow
And meeting in twilight
Us leaving on the next tide.
I came on to your beach
Waited many horizons,
Only to watch you drift away.
I wrote this on the train and suddenly I was back there... Back to what broke me...  But only for a few seconds :)

Winter sunrise on my last and longest day

Wrap me in a winding sheet of flaming orange

Take the reds and pinks from midnight blue to make my shroud

Let me rest in heaven fire

Drown my tired soul in colour

Drinking the final carnival

Warmth for my bones

A funeral of skies and wonders
Saying goodbye to a good man,

A poet is no more than a person
A mother
A daughter
A lover
Someone needing release
Or someone needing to recover

It’s the art they create when that ball of ink or stick of led dances on the canvas they so perfectly prepared.
And when the end result and their purpose become perfectly paired.

I stumbled upon you
Like a child
that finds a pretty stone

Bewildered by your presence
I sat and admired
Counting your cracks
Caressing what makes you glitter

You stood infront of me
Bold and beautiful
Like nothing I'd ever seen

And as you gave me your attention
I think I misconstrued your intentions

I wanted to put you in my pocket
But you said no

So there you sit
Perfectly unpolished
A love

I can only visit
