I have a
  valid question.

Why do some
  folks try to
treat this
  as a
      dating site?

I mean,
  listen;

   I am here
to read
    other "poet's"
work and to
  share mine
as well.

Please stop
  inboxing me
about things
   that do not
pertain to
   the reason
that we are all
  supposed to
be here for....

poetry.

I'm not here
  to make
videos or have
  some weirdos
   inboxing and
asking me where
   I live and....

I am sure
that you can
    figure out
the rest.

Stick to
   poetry please
or I will
   block you.

Thank you.

i raced alongside happiness
like a parallel line
perpetually beneath it
and always out of reach

until the day i decided to stop running

stagnant and terrified
looking up at what i thought i wanted
for quite some time

only to see a giant pastel line
crashing down on me
intersecting with my warrior soul

contentment is a perpendicular line
i’m making a home
out of this right angle

Temptation staring me in the face
little white pills begging to be ate
dancing around in my head
wondering if I’ll take the bait

Alcohol in solid form
addicted to escaping the world
if I took them guilt would come
nothing to take back, even if I hurled

Still so tempting to have a bite
to get rid of them seems such a waste
if I do I know one thing
this test I will have aced

So just stay strong and stay away
get rid of dancing pills in my head
flush them down and you’ll see
my sobriety is not dead

I’m still here
I feel you lingering around
but you’re never near
So close but so far
Will we ever make that wish upon our star?

I’d say I love you so much it hurts
But that’s a lie
Cause the pain only lies in the truth
You’re the only one that makes me feel good

but never would you chase me
and when i asked why
you smiled because

love to you
was just a game

Pan whispered something in my ear
a secret mumbling i couldn’t understand

maybe a message of love or hate. couldn’t imagine anything else

sometimes it’s hard for us to talk out loud
things we want to say but keep inside
a desire to share but not offend

mumbling whispers might just be
the best compromise we have

Her eyes are poetry and a blink of her eyes is a poem.

Her voice is poetry and each of her words is a poem.

Her thinking is poetry and each of her thoughts is a poem.

My love for her is poetry and each of my expressions for her is a poem.

My care for her is poetry and each of my suggestions for her is a poem.

My desire for her is poetry and each expression of my romance for her is a poem.

Our mutual attraction is poetry and each of our confessions to one another is a poem.

Our eternal relationship is poetry and each of our manifestations for one another is a poem.

Our way of talking to each other is poetry and each of our conversations with one another is a poem.
Redefining my poetry and poem.

Only orange juice drips out;

That comes out!

The night is cold
The night is crying

My heart feels cold
My eyes are filled with tears

I hope to be waken
From this
And once ive waken

The day will be warm
The day will be happy

My heart feels warm
I'm finally happy

Taking shelter in music

Calm the frenzy of thoughts

Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Explanation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

Where can I go
Where can I hide
The fear is at my door
There is a crack of darkness
It desires to envelop me
Falling to my knees
I cry out my pain
I see a rushing wind of light
hides me in sight
Dear God its You
Take me Lord
Keep me Jesus
Hold me dear,heart and soul
For You alone are my hiding place

It's kinda cool how when life is normal
rainy days make me lethargic and unmotivated.
But when life is hard and I'm struggling
rainy days are the greatest comfort,
as if the earth is crying with me
saying that I'm allowed to feel it all
do you think i'm happy?
i just wanna know,
have i been good?
put on the right show?
do you think i'm happy?
have i smiled enough today?
have i laughed enough,
gave all my care away?
do you think i'm happy?
because no one seems to ask
what's going on inside my head,
what's beneath the mask.
do you think i'm happy?
please, god, just say no
because if you don't notice,
i'll know that i'm alone.

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

I am but a flame
whispering by the wick

I am but the embers
slowly dying out

I am but a match
that has finally been lit

Blow, and pour
For I am a flame, in the night
that is clinging, to its embers
and now going out

I am but the glowing coal
in this nightmarish world

For I was the light
For I was that burning fire in the forests night
But now I'm just cinders
being scattered by the winds
Sometimes we look back when we are depressed, when we are feeling down, and remember ourselves as something mighty. and we compare our greatness with our lowest weakness. Sometimes the mighty have to fall to get stronger when they get back up.

Let us rest
For the day is over
Night has come
Still moon and stars

Lay with me
Let out a sigh
Breathe in anew
And close your eyes

All our worries
Will be there tomorrow
Some may even
Fade away

So let us rest
The day is over
Let us lay
In each others arms

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

When I was much younger, beaches were my second favorite places. I still love watching waves as they go by, crashing against each other and the whole process repeating all over again.

My periods turn to semicolons
My suicide notes to poetry
My goodbyes become hellos
The blades turn to sunflowers
And the bullets, a rose
My heart still is broken
But the pieces have been found
Death isn’t for me anymore
What is, in the here and now
I still don’t feel enough
But I am alive
And that’s enough to say
Today is not the day I die.

Painting a black
rainbow underneath
a falling sky, it's mist
consumes and eradicates
your last breath, your
last hope.

They pour the drink
you are forced to drink,
and feed the flesh you
are forced to eat.

Taught to be stupid, and
raised to be nothing,
what's left to do, except
make a noise so loud, fame
will hear you.

Your dreams will tell you what to do.

These words are for me,
For I'm the one who's hurting,
I'm just healing myself.
I often wonder why we can't understand other's poems sometimes, but deep down it is the one who writes it knows the value of it.
