To inflict on tomorrow,
the empty promises of fate

The will to reign indifferent
—the devil’s cruelest form of hate

I.

I strode in the midst of a winters dream
where summer had been more kind than seen.
Where autumns foliage lay wasted in streams
and spring waters sing and hope to be ...

its dream for tomorrow; but tomorrow had been
      and conquered the skies ...
      what eyes could see!

II.

Her raindrops glistened under red filled eyes
in awe of beauty the careless will deny.
And smoke stacked futures all built from lies
now line the knolls where her beauty defies ...

our dream for a future, but a future in peril,
      had forsaken the skies ...
      what eyes would see?

III.

Now Englishman walk from the towns to seas
and regales to their families all that had been.
Their children now laugh aloud and in glee
in their ill gotten fortunes us fallen could see ...

their dreams for tomorrow, but tomorrow had seen
their lust for the skies ...
what eyes awake would futurity see?

Watch the distant light,
faint flickers
in the night.

Four years do feel far,
cold contrite,
dark like tar.

Look up from the ground,
see the star
come around.

Feel the breeze blow cool,
freedom found
though a fool.

Lost in desert sand.
Time's a tool
in God's hand.
An explanation- The poem connects sitting on the desert ground at night while looking at a star with struggling while believing in a distant hope. The 4 years refers to about how many light years away the closest star is. And the star coming around is the sun rising.

It ends with God being the ultimate healer who gives the gift of healing by using time

Like a magical night
when everything goes right

And he gets what you mean
you say "This is the Joint!"

When he laughs cuz you're funny
and your jokes are on point

When he asks for your number
and you give it out wrong

When the movement is Music
and you both know the song

When you dare not to care
so you're free to be you

Now he's feeling your vibe
and you're feeling it too

It's a night to remember
but never repeat

Cuz it was what it was
In that hot summer heat

Wednesday, open window into the sun. Eagle sub-
merged in our wall, ancient as limestone or basalt,
while holding you. Our last goodbye, between land
and the Red Sea, Time disappeard out of nowhere.
Sinai has no ambivalence, now or forever. Time

changes everything, if you're lucky. Blue in the window,
and I touch the sky to make a wish. One drop of water in
your balloon, fast asleep for centuries. Ahh, revenge is so
sweet, darling. But it is getting late, tomorrow comes down
from the galaxy when full of stars. We will be looking up.

Each poem is a desired object
  needing to be courted lovingly.
A first draft is dinner and
getting to know a bit of her.
A goodnight peck and on your way.
  Thinking of her until sleep.

Soon she makes a dinner for you
and tells you of her lost loves
as you confess yours to her.
  Shared open wounds still healing.
Trust is now a part of this
  investment in a life together.

The final draft is when each
  consumes the other with
  complete truth and doesn't
  bother coming up for air
because it is the final draft!
  We sleep lovers sleep forever.

It seems the harder I try
the less I prevail ,You know well
(Well )that water runs deep , an I’m knee deep in it
Only wanted to soak my feet
seems I’m in over the limit
It’s automatically assumed that you’d know what to do , if life handed you lemons
Implication
Nothing is ever easy an I tend to complicate things . That’s life

the love i have for you
will never turn to hate
but it sure will dissipate
over time i longed for you
and i waited
i prayed i dreamt
and i loved never hated
there’s nothing i haven’t done
but this is me
this is my time to finally leave
it’s time i move on
it’s time i wish well
to the very best
i never had
but from a far
even though i know
somewhere in the back of my mind
you’ll always be there

I've been dreaming about a girl
With silver hair and icy eyes,
With pink lips and good vibes,
With the softest smile and skinny thighs...
She was the sun ray that kissed your face
After the cruel winter haze.
She was the gracious lioness,
Almost like a royal Highness.

But she was just a con
Because, c'mon ,
She told me she loved me,
That she'll never leave me
And then I woke up and she was gone
And I was left alone from dusk 'till dawn.
When you think you just found your true Happiness, then Life waltzes in and gives you a good slap.

In case no one gets it,
i collect my excerpts
better
than i spell my prayer.
Spills my personal feelings
and trouble,
longer than i bow
on my knees.

i memorize every shame
and quote it
into a piece of paper,
the same stroke
they did to break
my bones.
Marks down
every of their tone
when i got yelled at,
being degraded.

In case no one gets it,
i use my fingertips to fight.
Being sure of my words,
but never myself.

They can take off my guts,
break down my sanity
into pieces of insecurity.
Yet i’m here to remain bold
until the last spill of ink,
and my pen
can no longer stand.
the battle is in my head

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

it's like holding the world in your hands
and letting it slip from your grasp.
like owning the most beautiful, priceless
piece of artwork the universe will ever let their
eyes get a taste of, and letting it burn in the fire.
this is the emptiness they tried to warn us about.
it's burning aches in the middle of the night
because you can't quite close that wound.
it's constant pain that no amount of medicine
can fix.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.
