I realized tonight
that you'll never
be able to understand.

Numbers and statistics
don't always equate
to what I'm feeling.

and it's not because
you're ignorant
and it's not because
I'm smarter

We're just clever differently.

logic can't explain
the feeling of connectedness
beyond mere feeling accepted

No this is different.

This is the part of me
who can't be religious because
there's no proof
At War
with the part of me that truly believes
that magic is real just because
I've been drawn to it

Perhaps magic is real
but exists beyond logic.

Everything is connected.
I'm sorry Lovely,

but I don't think you'll
ever understand
and I don't think I'll
ever be able to explain

"It's freezing but it's not even winter yet,
I'll just wrap myself with the cold duvet
That ought to keep me warm,
and I'll lay very still,
That way no one would see me as being alive

Oh, and I'll keep my wrists locked beside my hips,
Eyes glued shut,
Legs ******* together,
I'll appear as dead then."

Breathing as slow as possible with every second,
Struggling to stay still with every heartbeat,
Oh she was very much alive.

Just screaming for someone to rescue her,
Only a tension she can remember of her vocal cords

Little did she know her never-ending nightmares,
are just figments of her imagination.

i was always envious
of the women
with their **** together
their confidence unparalleled
their stable nature

but not anymore...
it wasn’t luck
that got them to the top

i saw their names
etched into the walls of hell
as i walked through,
and now i understand
why they always have painted nails
...
they’re hiding the charcoal
hades survivors club
We forget
That life is like the ocean waves
Up and down
High and low
Gradual
Steep
Each one a bit different
Painting a different picture
Unpredictable
Chaotic
And constantly
Changing our perception of the view.
But
Without this dynamic surface
We would simply be
Staring at a lifeless sheet
Of infinite water
Moving along slowly
And
Simply
             ...existing.

The Masterpiece you see in me is not the Masterpiece within me.
The wet paint still dripping off the sides of my insides.
The painting with an unknown artist is still unfinished.
The Masterpiece you say you see within me is just a fake painting covering this almost dry paint.
The painting with no meaning behind it.
This almost dry paint will forever stain my walls.
This almost dry paint will make this unfinished painting something of the past.
Past my dry paint looking back on my stained walls will only stain my memories.
Telling me that this Masterpiece inside is only a stained wall of me.
You’re beautiful beyond measures. Write this down and take a picture so you’ll never forget.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

When I first saw you,
I saw perfection.

When I got to know you,
I saw pain.

When I started loving you,
I saw strength.

Now...all that I see
Is what means everything to me.

What I see
Is the strength to go on.

What I see
Is the courage to do anything.

What I see
Is the love to be around anyone.

What I see
Is everything I need.

and give me a heart that is open - fully, completely to Love
and strike from my soul any anger, words that do not sow the Good
and keep me from being fulfilled by that which Your Heart never could
take all the burdens within me and give me Your Light in its place
show me the world through Your Senses and wipe every tear from my face

Where do they all go
the unspoken words
Do they melt, into nothingness
burning in the backs of our throats
Or delve into the blue deepness of our thoughts
a sunken treasure
I think they hitch rides
with the hopeless
and the heartbroken
Sitting heavy on shoulders

And I'm walking with the weight of the world
and I'm walking with the weight of the world

Never tell someone you love them
Don't give them the advantage of knowing.

Once they know,
they'll use it against you

they'll use you as a second option
as a fall back plan

because they know,
no matter what they do,
you'll always be there for them.

I try so hard to be happy,
but what does that mean?
What does it look like?

I'm the monster inside
my head, I tell myself
things that reek of death.

In the middle of it all,
the light is burned out
and it's all my fault.

I gave in to the chaos
in my soul, now I'm lost.
I lost sight of control.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

I will not complain that you left me..
Because.
Every minute that you stared at me, made me feel that I look beautiful too..
Every laugh you shared with me, made me feel that I can be happy too..
Every touch of you made me realize that I still can feel love..
Every moment that I spent with you made me feel that life can be beautiful
Yes, I will not complain that you left me…
I will wait for your return..if not this life.. Next life it is..

Come home from eagle-throated distance,
The canoe-tip of the crescent moon scuds
Into the silt-gold, mud-bed of heaven.
Her face-dream beside the pine trees
The mollusc of purpled wampum beads shining.

Bury my hands, ninidji, in the eagle’s nest,
Carry my feeling words to her on wings.
Let her mix roots, berries, clay
and the feather of my hands
To paint her face with my words and these trees.

Or let my hands ripple like flat-fish
Above the silt-bed of her slim stomach,
Held there in radiant scaled warmth.
Lappihanne, the rapid water of our river heart,
Like an arrow that glides from the bow,
My people where the tide ebbs and flows.

To us both, the dark, golden edge of woods whispers, kuwumaras
And the water arrow will never land,
But carried in my eagle’s hands,
I say kuwumaras, my love, and pierce through all darkness
To the empty path made full with the ripples of all who have passed.
My nika, swan of the woods, let us dive into the dark, golden sea
Of forever in the hills.
All italicized words are Algonquin.
"Wampum" is well-known as the colorful beads made from whelk shells and later used as currency in trading with New World explorers.
"Lappihanne" was the basis for the word Rappahannock, which is also the name of the tribe known as the "people of the ebb and flow tide"
"Kuwumaras" means "I love you"
All other words are self-explained in the above.

Roots, berries, clay, and sometimes feathers were used for face paint.
