i can’t cry for you anymore
that stings
worse than you would imagine
playing a somber ballad in my head
i look at the ceiling and pretend it’s over
but it’s not
not until we’re dead
and 81 years is an awfully long time
i can do it if you’re squeamish
tonight

Good night my little wee one
It's time to close your eyes
If you'll but wait till morning
You'll get a big surprise
The sun will smile and greet you
In ever changing skies
For mom and daddy love you
Your the apple of our eyes

Throne dwelling muse.
Alone because she chooses.
Playing her own tune.

Deeper the despair,
reality is more vivid.
Closer to grief,
the more love is valued.

Cropping created from a falling star and a window,
it's uncertainty wobbles and morphs,
as if exploring the limits of it's edges.
It's as if it's an unsteady pond,
weirdly liquid for something so stable.
Too bad it can only be enjoyed,
in the dying minutes of a day.

You make me cry
You make me want to scream

I hate you
I truly do

I crave you
I want you

This is why I hate you

You make me feel lovable
You make me want to be better

This is why I hate you

I find myself wanting to open up and share what’s within my soul to you

I hate you

Your gaze strips me bare
This is why I cannot stare

I hate you

You make me want to kiss you
And say

I love you

I can sit in the woods all morning
talking the ears off the birds
while squirrels laugh at me, or
I can sit silently, reverently and listen,
and I think I'll learn something important
either way
trying to relearn balance

Human life, scientists tell us, has been the merest
bubble in the boundless ocean of Eternity. We are
also beings who live for such an insignificant
amount of time. Shouldn't we be almost
desperate to relate to one another?
There is so very little opportunity
and so very much
non-existence.

I sail alone on the hopeless sea
With just the stars to fill my view
You are a firework that lit up my sky
now the smoke is just the memory of you

In that moment, you gave me sight
But now it’s darker than before
My lonesome shadow adjusts in my eye
just me and the stars, forevermore

I want to be both a home and a vacation to you—
Drawn back
Into stagnant memories
A beat that drives me
To the brink of the edge
The chasm of insanity
Flashing lights
Behind my eyes
Lips silently moving
Tumbling over words
I haven't tasted
Since I was six years old
Listening to old songs. Also yes, I know the title is a JB song. I hate him. Elementary school me didn't.

She washes over me like the tide,
The water feels cool on my skin
The salt burns from within.
I'm lost in the sands of time,
As the world goes rushing by
I can exist for a minute here
If I just close my eyes.

She crashes down like waves
Pulls my hands and sways
Watching as that world fades.
Does she see this place from miles away
Is it just a dream we create
Or is it life for another day?
Tell me what you see in me.

As the night falls, waters recede
As the sun sets at the sea,
So did the day where everything. Felt right.
A little piece remains there, I believe

I am waiting for my heart to be quiet
I am thinking about perturbation is Zen, Zen is perturbation
I heard the rain
I heard the wind
This morning the sun stays on the hill to the west
I found the linden tree
I found the dust
And I can't find Zen
And the shadow of Zen

Almost means it will happen.

Like,
Almost cried

Almost ready
Almost here
Almost done

Almost.
Almost can also mean it never happened.

Like,
Almost in love

No longer goes

When I’m happy,
I only realise after the felicity has left my mind,
Which makes me feel guilty for not realising the feeling at the moment.
Though when I’m with you,
I can feel the rubato of my heart,
Knowing that I’m existing,
Together,
With you.

I will do
these amazing
things, just for you...

I will go to the nearby garden
of my neighbour, and steal the juiciest
fruits, the tastes of which contain
the wondrous tales of the trees,
you will be so excited to listen to
the tale of the mother parrot, who tasted
every Guava, and took the bite only from
the sweetest part to share with her children.
This neighbour might come after me carrying
his stick, but any risk can be taken, for our fruity
moments of togetherness, when we will sit cuddled,
and munch on fruits making surpy-surpy sounds...

I will make an orchestra
consisting of singing bulbuls,
koyals, pigeons and sparrows,
and will not say no to any
bird or animal who wants to join in.
For example, crickets and monkeys,
can join in, and even happy wolves with
their hoo-hoos. We should not say no
to anyone, because although our orchestra
may not sound well, but everyone
should be happy, everyone has a heart
which must not be broken...

Then, there will also be a dancing DJ for
the Sur-Suri Dance of the snakes,
for the Halli Dance of the dogs,
(originated from Hallaq Kuttaq,
their great-grandfather),
also some monkeys will be allowed
to swing their hips, all for your entertainment,
Some hyenas may also do yip-yip-yip,
and cry and laugh, laugh and cry,
but you mustn't be afraid then,
for these hyenas are also pals...

for you see for this day everyone
is our friend, the whole universe
is our friend, love flows like a waterfall,
for we are in love...

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.
...
If pain demanded to be felt,
then my happiness intended to melt.

it's quite a challenge for me
to look in the mirror and not point out
all the things about my body
I wish to change.

the first thing I see are my imperfections
and I wonder what kind of peace
what kind of universe
could exist where I don't feel this way.

Probably one
with no mirrors.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

She walked out of the watercolor storm of a fresco
Like a cowl-bound form in a light drizzle of rain,
Her mosaic tiles of ancient lovers’ eyes, ceramic-borne,
Just as her hips held the curves of the urn, kiln-fired,
The coiled heat of Greece still stinging through her flesh.

For her, the treetops had been the summoners of storm,
In kind, she poured down the wet grove of her hair, electral,
Pantheress of humid breath and fanged flair of lightning,
Tamed once in the cloudy cage of Pentelic marble of the Parthenon.

But the world piled dust before her, baiting with its groveled roads,
For her black mullings, much-tasted rain, and heaven’s leaves to fall.
If only the Michelango-to-come had carved the clouds of her
For the light to remain, shining its centuries,
Then maybe the thunder would have been left undone.
