Today, I saw you smiling.
Your eyes were filled of stars.
Your lips were full of flowers.
You own the night like a moon shining,
And that's enough to for me to keep living.
Weary winds seek solace
in the arms of conifer giants,
having not yet discovered that
even mountain pines shiver
when winter is at its darkest.
An illusion of perfection.
Calvin Perumalla
The way I laugh has changed over the years.

Now I laugh harder and louder,

betraying strain,

I laugh like my life depended on it
Zane Smith
time flies by
with the blink
of an eye.
so when
do we truly
start living?
There must be more to life,
precious moments that stay burned into the memory,
until the world fades away,
heart beat going off scale, drowning all senses but one,
feeling warmth,
excitement and fear,
streaming together to give that feeling of:
I am alive with life.

I draw the Line in Sand.
My toes are brushing borders.
I feel compelled to forward step,
And yet I cannot cross;
The Line is as a barricade.

The Tide is creeping in
(it screams, it screams at me)
The Line is washed away
(i cannot hear it, cannot see)

It is gone.
And so I draw the Line in Sand.
This time further forward,
Always further forward,
Slow and steady,
Ever forward,
To the End I dread,
But cannot yet escape.

and then sometimes the waves come crashing in and
there is no Line – there is no Sand
and the swirling water engulfs my swirling self and steals the breath from my lungs
and irrational clarity pierces my hummingbird heart with icy claws
and in my desperation –

I draw the Line on Me
A Life Line
To keep myself from crossing.

I see my love in vivid colors
starched white rose with drops of blue
petals painted a tertiary number
I fall asleep and dream of you
Is it selfish of me to miss you
After all the pushing away I put you through
It is
To love a person well
Is to love the boundary between you
Vin DeStefano
A contemporary peculiarity.
Youth tend not to care of me,
a virtue rather scarce to see.
Heart with love,
in love in lust
in love with lust
I'd escape, its just ..
.. If I could learn to trust.
Please help my heart,
For I'm torn apart.
I'd escape, its only ..
.. If people hadn't told me
What love had meant -
a concept bent -
time now -
Ask for God's forgiveness and stop making excuses. :)
Paper faces and silicone smiles-
Where’d you get that mask, little girl?
Looks an awful lot like

Music of the wind
Drum of my own heartbeat
Songs  of the chirping birds
Orchestra of the leave’s rustling
Humming of my breath
Caressing  Mother Earth
Warmth of father sun
Blanketed by soft cloud
Here I come to my solitude
Where the silence speaks
To me always aloud

He loves me
But he’s not in love with me
And it’s breaking my heart
But how can I explain?
You don’t look at me the same anymore
Caitlyn Fletcher
There is no safer place I know
than tucked in sheets
with my legs intertwined with yours
the feel of your bare skin on mine
and my hand on your heart
The flower in the garden
will one day be gone
it may be beautiful now
but it wont last that long
So like a flower one day we will see
In the end, How broken we would be
loneliness, an old friend
is knocking on my door again
and I’m trying so hard not to let him in
I still remember the last time I saw you
and I remember the day I realized
it was really over

but life goes on, as things do
however, I still find myself
thinking about you

I’ve seen other people,
I’m sure you have too
but still, I really, truly do
myss you
When near you I fear you
I hate what I feel
Like I'll never understand
just how to be real
This guilt runs deep
and I don't know why
but I'm always afraid
that you'll make me cry
somewhere in my mind
a carefree future we had
or maybe we didn't
and that make me sad
you always act strange
when I just want to be friends
You push me and pull me
the rollercoaster never ends
I just wish that I knew what you feel
so we could relax and let it be
but I think you don't know
what would you do, were you me?
One thing I know is true
It is nothing but clear
If we are ever to relax
there must be no more fear.
Love and Fear cannot coexist. They are opposites.
I wonder..
am I too soft?
or is the world too hard
Johnson Ung
A gentle spring breeze
Magnolias blossoming
Life ever-changing

Summer embers gleam
Laughter abounds with you near
Bringing brief respite

As the sun settles
Autumn leaves paint the mountains
My heart rests there, too.
Neon lights
Bleed my eyes
I've lost sight
I can only rhyme
Whispering voices
Long day gone
Residue of life
Where did we go wrong
Giving we gave
Taken we took
Sinners and savior
All in one book
And so we read on
There's no end
To our songs!

...I have left this ****** nightmare
In my wake but out of sight
All I want is deviation by design

Out of all the past confusion
Out of all the common spite
Just tell me I am yours 'cause you are mine

Song #3
What if
You have been fighting
A losing battle
All along
What if
The silence
Within you
Is only
The calm
Before the strom
It is going to be a fight
You just cannot

my biggest fear.
F A Pacelli
we live in a world
of ones and zeros
of science and theory
but only love will guide us
through darkness and pain
for its mystery is illuminating
I don't Drink
Not because I don't want to
I don't Drink
Not because I don't need to

I don't drink because of you
because of what you did
because I swore that I would never be like you
because you were the monster I feared

I don't drink, because I fear
The monster in you, will become the monster in me
and that monster is something I never want to be.
Erin Reed
a fool
i am
  to convince myself
  that the words that flowed
like the sound of a perfect melody
  from your lips,
  were the words
  of an honest man.
I’m scared as f*ck
to want you.

But here
I am,

Still wanting you
isn't it strange,
that the most
things in this world
are not what we do not understand,
but the things that we do?
So am I loyal

for still loving you
"Yes!" Some teardrop moon reminds me,
"Summer's always on her way."
Sona Lachina
A single birch leaf
Floated to my sill

It made my summer
Knees wobble as it sang
September's denouement --

It laughed at me so
Mired in time and

Don't worry
Little one,
You will know
My secret
One day --

I cannot explain what love is
But can anyone say why?
The star twinkle at night
And there is magic in the sky
Or why river rushes to meet the sea
No more I can explain
Just becoz you mean too much to me
Your my life and my happiness too
I just know I do....
Sympathetic empathas saying words,
That are read from a script,
No one knew how to write,
It's early and cars,
Driving to,
Another paid bill,
Or whatever Thomas said,
Expierences fulfilled by fuel,
Maybe they aren't driving,
Or drinking,
might just be,
making babies in the,
Or whatever Keats said,
Distantly dancing,
To kindergarteners and,
cancer patients,
Just another Thursday,
With mystic music,
Lofting around,
The empty dance halls,
Falling up,
With Christopher Robbins,
To the stars,
The bus is on time
Or whatever Dylan said.
im still alive
sorry to disappoint

So tell me where shall I go ?
To the left,
Where nothing's right ?
Or to the right,
Where nothing's left?
Buried Words
I want to look as empty as I feel
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

"keep your eyes closed love. sometimes all you have to listen is to what the sound of the waves tells you to do"

When I was much younger, beaches were my second favorite places. I still love watching waves as they go by, crashing against each other and the whole process repeating all over again.

‘I walked up, and I walked down, and I walked straight into a delicately dying sky, and finally the sequence of observed and observant things brought me, at my usual eating time, to a street so distant from my usual eating place that I decided to try a restaurant which stood on the fringe of the town. Night had fallen without sound or ceremony when I came out again.’

My smiles not real
Don't be fooled
Not like my heart was
I have this one playlist
It contains all the music
That reminds me of good memories

So that whenever I feel alone
I play it

I don’t feel alone anymore
