She loved my poem

                                              Happy man
                                        Doubt fading away
Bring thy heart from the pocket
                                       Be fearful of the light
No let it free to seek the light
Fleeting moment has come back to me
Heart in my pocket come to the day
                           Come seek this beautiful delight

Dog
He's too earnest to lie to me,
the same way that dogs kept in kennels
don't leave after the latch has been unlocked,

When he tells me I'm a kind person,
the shame of it
almost cripples me.
Old poem.

you left me standing
by the creaking door
in the hallway of heartbreak
where dried roses are stepped on &
the rooms reek of negative energy
like being caught up in a tornado
in each of these spider webs
in the corners of the ceiling
they have built an army
they are ready to fight
who are you
but a visitor
to a mistaken paradise...

Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art

Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

Vanity
All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again

The most dangerous
disaster in human
life was trying to
get up a ladder
without legs
Outside air flirts with skin
numbing effect slowly creeping
gusting air, a soft assault
makes me grasp my jacket tight
This poem is written about the North Dakota wind, which is brutal! f you enjoyed the poem, leave a comment or share this with someone who would appreciate it!

i love you,
and to prove it,
i need to end myself?
it's not  that I'm scared,
but i would die,
not knowing,
if you smiled,
when you knew,
i loved you more than myself
a lot of people **** themselves to show someone how they love them, but if you did you will never be able to know if your love for them, made them smile

Sleep, sweet darling
Sleep

Remember drowsy
blue waters
heal and swoon
the ennui haze

In softly pillowed oblivion
where even your
little toes and feet
touch bottom

Beloved dreamer
in tempera obscurity
there will be no memory
of the procession
ferrying our kipped-down family

They will dance
widdershins around us
with fluttered eyelids
and reclining hearts

But whether an
allegory of the cave or
an analogy of the sun toward
some dividing line between
~either way~

Sleep, sweet darling
Sleep

‘I’m almost back to normal’
I told a friend today
He said …’if you’re almost normal
don’t go all the way…

…Stay a bit abnormal
It’ll be a clever touch
Normal and abnormal...
We’ll love you just as much!’

My beautiful sunflower,
of warm, yellow joy -
infectious - as sunshine
beams across our faces.

An abundance of petals,
golden in the light.
Growing toward the sun,
striving for perfection.

Our beautiful sunflower,
nurtured and thriving,
growing through my heart, warm
with happiness and love.

I know your secrets, even the ones you never told
Some things are never to be forgotten even when you get old
I try to be nice and kind and giving
But deep inside the abyss of my heart, it is cruel and cold
You try to be pure, pious and clean but;
I know your darkness and the soul you sold

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

Time flies by so fast then its past

Remember special moments always last

So make some memories to treasure

Each day have and give some pleasure

So when second chances do come by

To love again say yes reach for the sky

Because I love the moments in time

When you're with me and you are mine

Cherish and relish everyday while you can

Precious are the moments when love is the plan
make every moment count
I stood up to meet you
But you turned me upside down
Whether you meant to or not
I’ve fallen to the ground
My equilibrium’s been shattered
And I’m quickly overturned
Ever since I laid eyes on you
It’s been considered lesson learned

My eyes

have dried

with the tears

I've cried.

And now

I'm hollow,

I've got nothing to give

And now

I'm done,

I've got nothing to live.
I'm fine. Okay, if not completely at the moment, I will be, sometime later.

down by the river, we see through the shore,
and bear witness as human proclivities roar.

Diving into the water, we hold its wet hand
for the rivers enlivenment, so few understand:

so down by the river, we will lay in its bed
while lullabies sung by the lapping waves tread;
as the river explains, in liquid morals unsaid-
its teachings, in riptides ,flowing into our head.

as the sun on the water, scintillating, does glow
it calls to us now as we're destined,

we go.

The sight brings a smile to yours
His eyes
You can stare into them forever

You wish you can intertwine them with yours

It intrigues you
His soul
You can love it for eternity
His heart
It doesn't belong to you

maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.

Have enslaved me.
Imprisoned me
But I walk forward
I let go of the chains
That have imprisoned me

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.

soft shadows dance around me,
asleep like a candle in the rain
this gentle boy of fear and fantasy
touched by such folly and pain

And they dance, and move and scurry
every thought rushes in a hurry
As I twist and plead and whimper
They cheer and jump and flicker

So please,
wrap my heart up in covers
sing sweet your lullaby,
tell me that it's all warm and over
and just kiss my sanity goodbye

The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.
