Finally feel a sense of freedom
Without you here
No longer a prisoner
Goodbye to your needs
Happy you're gone

Faded sunset clouds
Waiting moon and infant stars
A subtle blending
Words donโ€™t hurt
They haunt
David Lessard
I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)
Anyone can throw a stone,
But it's much harder to forge a tower of gold.
My Dear Poet
the hand controls
the steering

and the steering
controls the wheel

and you my love
control everything

and everything I feel
I donโ€™t want to
Open my mouth
Because Iโ€™m still afraid
The truth might come out
And if it does
If it really breaks free
Youโ€™ll see what I am
Youโ€™ll see the true me
The one I hide
With jokes and lies
Iโ€™m a terrible person
All jokes aside
You donโ€™t seem to know it
You donโ€™t seem to see
Even a glimpse of that person
That I know to be me
Iโ€™m such a good actress
I hide it so well
Cover it with a laugh
And youโ€™ll never tell
You see depth in my eyes
You see love and emotion
But what would you see
If I ever did open
I canโ€™t bear to find out
I canโ€™t bear to show
The me you donโ€™t see
The me that I know
If I let it out
If I let it be
I know for a fact
That you would hate me.

No regrets.
To finish your own life by hand,
May seem like the right thing to do.
But to free yourself from this land,
Is to imprison those that love you.
i really wish I died that night in June.
They should have let me dieโ€ฆthat night in June
nothing has been more peaceful then that night in June
They said,
"The most beautiful art is
looking into someone's eyes
when they talk about the
things they love.
And I said,
"Or looking at someone you love.
Or maybe, just maybe,
by looking at the mirror
is the most beautiful art
anyone should appreciate."
Appreciation post for myself; for you and for everyone as well. You deserve more than the world has to offer.

Accumulating wishes rather than curse

The most likeable nurse in my friends' circle
Brought me more wishes with further distributions
I realised, the work we all do
It is a suit for the job

i adore cold weather.
But not for the fires,
Or the warmth of another person.
I find something beautiful about it,
And maybe even a bit lonely.
It reminds me of bittersweet loss,
And finding the strength to move on.
She said "I'm falling in love."

I said "I'm falling apart."
What's the difference?
I wish I was the favorite one.

I live that
Private life that
My father gave to me
To live here on earth
And I am already used to live
My private life
In my private life
I have lots of friends
That also belongs to my private
Life here on earth
My friends support me
Every single day in my private
Also my friends accept me the way
I am
So I donโ€™t need to change anything in me
Because I am ok the way I am
Also my friends respect me
They respect my  race and religion
Also I respect my friends race and religion
My friends donโ€™t have a lot of money
To live
They are very poor and I donโ€™t mind that
Also I am poor when it comes to money
If we were rich we would be a slave to
Our money
I love my poor friends
They are very simple people
They always wear there casual clothes
That our father gave to us to wear
We donโ€™t like any fancy clothes
We are just fine with the casual clothes

When you have to try,
Be cool,
Look cool
Or feel cool
Then usually
You can't have all three
At the same time
Because they won't coincide
Best off to just be you...
Unless ........
You're me
An if that's the case ....
Then yah.ย ย
You're gonna wanna be me.
Trust me ..
I even wanna be me!

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I donโ€™t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
Heโ€™s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
โ€œWeโ€™re perfect for each otherโ€
And you canโ€™t tell me
Heโ€™s not the one.

Where a question mark

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again

Who will be there after
the world turned its back on you?

Your self.

So treat your self the way you
crave for others to treat you.
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
David Adamson
I met a woman
brutal in her mercy.

Her embrace was a clinch
to prevent hard blows.
She pulled me close to push me away.
Seeing my nakedness
she leant me a dream
of chainmail and shield.
Taking love from me she gave a reprieve
to a mind resigned to the slow death of feeling.

Ignoring my words she heard
my faint silent heartbeat and
understood that it was music
too quiet for the world to hear
and turned it up louder
than I could stand.
I wept in my deafness
as she danced.
Joel L Langham
Been singing your song
All day long
Been flying with my eyes closed
And landed right on time
Our world has changed in a whisper
But faded like a bad dream
Sing it soft
Sing it slow
Sing it mellow
And when the dust settles
After all of our struggles
I will forever have your song
Stuck in my head
The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people donโ€™t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.

You are a

Why did you speak to me?
This awesome night blues
I can hear the pattering of rain
Coming in blessed terrific glory
On my roof head
Drenching me in favor
Drowning me in grace
Till I loss consciousness
To the ethereal world
In beatific splendor of
Eternal golden paradise.
between you and me,
i'm still rooting for us.

I strip the sheets from
My lonely bed
I tremble with anguish
At what remains unsaid
I panic again
The aloneness wins
I canโ€™t seem to bear
Its various sins

Nothing is wrong, yet
Everythingโ€™s awry
Beauty surrounds
A Mystery Sky
Please help me, I pray
Help me to be
Alright and steady
Wondrous me

If Iโ€™m beautiful
In the forest
And nobody sees me
What happens then,
To my lustrous beauty?
Itโ€™s so immaterial
An unneeded question
Beauty is a trick
Itโ€™s not the bastion

Iโ€™ve been seeking
Nor is Love
Nor is your touch
Thereโ€™s just only me
Always โ€œtoo muchโ€
It makes no sense
I swim in these waters
Dead cold fingertips
Lamb to the slaughter
Sickening sinking
Shaking and sweating
Youโ€™re no good for me
You are everything

Am I ok in this moment?
Yes, I am whole
Terrible minutes and hours
The dark, dark hole
I sink into when heโ€™s gone
Is useful in a way
It helps me to rise
Again, above the fray
There, I contemplate
The relentless gutting pain
Of this loneliness creation
This hollow empty frame

My angel, my guide
My source, my pride
My energy, my love
Come fill me up, donโ€™t hide
Your energy from me,
I need it so desperately
To set my heart free
To set my heart free

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.
