In the quiet I was waiting, in the presence of your love.
Longing for your appearing and your witness from above.

Waiting on your spirit in the silence of my day, I am aware
only of this moment and the ned to pray.

And yet in the quiet I hear nothing while waiting on your
word.

And then all at once , I small the scent of roses and I realize
you have heard, leaving me quite breathless with what
has occurred.

For in the quiet I was drawn to come to wait on thee, and
in the quiet I have again experienced your revealing within
me.

Like doves with gilded wings.
But cage your best memories so close,
like the yellow canary that sings

When an orange is squeezed
Only orange juice drips out;
When a cup of coffee is pushed..
Only coffee spills out;
It's only what's inside of us
That comes out!

There’s not much left,
other than a soft ash that covers the branches.
I could tell you it was angry,
I could tell you I’m covered in acid burns
Shaped like words, it hurts.

I could tell you the smoke filled my lungs
to the brim,
And left lesions of soot
across my low beating heart
At least everything is still.

There are no more leaves,
the only hum I hear
is the ringing in my ears,
and the tears,
are dry now, too.

I could tell you how comely
this all looks
The destruction, the debris-
but you deserve your own pity;
Abandon me with mine.

Seven Quiet Moments (HAIKU)
18 November 2019

Quiet moments.

Delicious.
I don’t know
Words are just words that form into sentences that get stuck in my brain for days with little room to escape
Are they mine or yours?
What’s is real what is fake, what’s the truths and what’s  a lie.
I’d like you to confirm...
Just so I know...
I’ve noticed you’ve been distracted lately...
It was just a Dream right?...
Just a dream, a dream.
A reoccurring dream
Maybe it was just a dream.
Why doesn’t it feel like a dream?

My ideas are lost
In a pool of unknown
My mental mind
Is but a vast ocean
During a scary storm.

Water churning and
Turning over and over again
Until the darkness stops.
And the light reaches the
Depths of our souls...

Only then
Will we be calm...

It has been a while and
It doesn't feel wrong
Or right, but unknown.

Still, figuring it out
It may be brand new
Or the same as the old days.

Still, trying it out
It could be you
Or it could be the same game.

Still, I want this
You, I want you.

Left for dead
I cry my mercy tears,
begging for that righteous forgiveness,
lest I be abstained from sin,

my boyfriend left me shattered near the purple moor,
outrage and an outroar,
I cry endlessly,
I'm sad and lonely

but no one understands the mercy tears.

Let us rest
For the day is over
Night has come
Still moon and stars

Lay with me
Let out a sigh
breathe in fresh
And close your eyes

All our worries
Will be there tomorrow
Some may even
Fade away

So let us rest
The day is over
Let us lay
In each others arms

It's kinda cool how when life is normal
rainy days make me lethargic and unmotivated.
But when life is hard and I'm struggling
rainy days are the greatest comfort,
as if the earth is crying with me
saying that I'm allowed to feel it all

Painting a black
rainbow underneath
a falling sky, it's mist
consumes and eradicates
your last breath, your
last hope.

They pour the drink
you are forced to drink,
and feed the flesh you
are forced to eat.

Taught to be stupid, and
raised to be nothing,
what's left to do, except
make a noise so loud, fame
will hear you.

Your dreams will tell you what to do.

I can see you walking down the street.
But I can't barely speak.
I just want to say, Hey.
And asking: How was your day?
But I can't reach you.
Cause I don't know if you want me too.
My mind is fulled with memories of you and me.
These memories are the one thing I see.

Heart be empty?

Struggling

Rounding around itself

Till it reaches a state

Of Sublime
Releasing
Its self
Into the world.

no Capitalization when I begin

Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads

the sunrise wept,
kissing all four corners of her room.
desperately illustrious,
dragging out the emotions we conceal within.
taken aback by the sheer beauty,
the tears began to lull.
a sudden stillness ; peace,
washing away the grief of that night.

she traced my fingertips,
eyes like moon pools of water.
oh how precariously balanced were her tears,
upon her lashes they sat,
comfortably uncomfortable.

her warmth, her gaze, her breath.
the addictive enticement,
enhancing the tense seconds
ticking by on that old grandfather clock.
as we both sat,
reminiscently replaying.

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.

Cry
Some people find it hard to cry
It's good to cry because there's more place to pain on the outside than the inside
But what if I'm one of those 'some people' I really want to give it a try and cry as hard as possible
This is not a poem it's just a thought that crosses my mind

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.
