Words left unspoken

Tears on our cheeks
Lonely weeks

and everything i could be
she gets tired and lonesome,
and sheā€™s suffered for me

sheā€™s strong and capable,
and someone i look up to
her unconditional love is powerful,
and sheā€™s lessened every pain iā€™ve gone through

time after time again,
sheā€™s forgiven my selfish ways
because she has always been a part of me,
and sheā€™s always here to stay

How tight is the grip that we have
On this so-called life
And if it all, one day went bad
Would we still be satisfied

Do we find our worth here on earth
Where moths and rust destroy
Or do we look towards Heaven
To bring about real bouts of joy

Do we not realize that this life
Is here and gone in the blink of an eye
That it doesn't end on this side
With our last breath the day we die

If you have a grip, try and lose it
Cause what you have will never last
And turn your eyes towards Heaven
Where all our needs are met

Once we lose our worldly grip...

Just to see who'll find me

Will ever someone actually

A reminder
Your "Life" is important for You
Your "Emotions" are emotions for you
Your "Feelings" are feelings only for you

When you open up on your

They are hearing a Story you narrate!

Empathy sympathy can be expressed!

Real was;
The flaws that ruined you, but you adopted them for they were indiscernible mistakesā€”I was only a child.

Real was;
Once, when you felt everything was in place. Stinting to make that second feel like forever.

a lyric from Plaisir Dā€™Amour (1),
these singed edged memories,
the grievous tingling tinge of
lost love,
last aĀ Ā lifetime,
can reappear symptomatically,
with crystalline purity,
for longer then any ejaculatory
momentary spasmodic instant
joyous vibes of a hallelujah salutation

Grief, Why It Even Can:

erode away the smooth
s skin casing of years of
effective affection,
a long term construction project
of a million individual additions

why then
is pain so long lived,
grief never brief,
but deep rooted,
and pleasing data
so easily
overlooked, pushed away by the

ā€œsharp edge of a short knife?ā€

why
does the low, slow beat of a sad song
bear down,
demands endless woeful
exhalation&repetition,
and
reversus,
the celebration tuning of a happier we,
an us, a too~together,
always hummable but not
overly memorable?

I posit no solution
but whenever I think of
human
it is of the soft tissues outlining
our long bruised wounds of suffering,

that rises up
and boils over
and floods the plains
of our senses colliding
and collectively

do you have an answer?

confess do not know
but believe now
it is a
seasoned characteristic
that is genetic,
the sum of thousands of years of
struggling

Words float in the air
They rearrange themselves into a sentence
form a picture of a train and roll away

Words shaped like balloons
They float away but will be back soon

Words hiding in a tree
Leaves fall to the ground and form sentences for me

Musical notes rearrange themselves on a scale
Fingers jumping from fret to fret
or dancing on the piano keys
These are some of the things I see

Ocean waves roll in and write on the sand
Once it just wrote, "I AM"
Seashells with words lie on the beach
In a sentence they realign
Thank you Lord for this beautiful mind
If it takes a zillion years
I would do it for a zillion beers
It would be brilliant to drink
That amount would be a feat
I don't know if anyone could beat
One zillion beers to drink
good

Can we be more than just a  produce for this world?
Conjoined to the core so I can claim you mine,
So I can feel more than your flesh and blood,
So I can feel your soul and it's innocence,
With a quill I shall write our sorrows together,
Yet describing the depth of your eyes is all my quill is bound to do,
You colonized my heart with one embrace,
Claiming everything yours,
It was already yours,
But I would rather write than say,
It's all a shattered spectacle can do,
The hum of your heart is rather enticing,
Its coarse yet delicate how surprising,
"You are a whim of my heart" is all I can say
A whim that shall never perish and ruin me away

Welcome to the land
Beyond the coastline of the sea
Where we read poetry
Under the light
Of the moon.

Welcome to the world
Where as far as godā€™s decree
Words are written
Just for flowers
To bloom.

In this inky place
Itā€™s found
All thatā€™s written
Has no place to die,

And as the blotches
Fill the page
We find thereā€™s
No time to cry.

And so we read,
And read,
And read,
Until we fail to see.

All just to write,
And write,
And write,
Until we cease to be.

THE ONE ABOUT...

"Did you hear the one about..."
Death's
already laughing

"...a fireman, a butcher & a janitor
walked into a War..."
Death loves to tell this joke

Sometimes Death changes the details
"...a guy from Omaha, Ohio & Nebraska
walked into a War..."

"...and the shell fell into
the hole they were cowering in..."
Death cracks up

"...an 18 year old & two guys of twenty
walked into a War. . ."
"Wot's yer poison?" Death snickers

"...some guys called Sam, Hank & Frank
walked into a bar in a War and
they don't ever ever walk out..."
With confusion
As to why blood hates blood
Is it not suppose to be thicker than water
Istead of flowing like water to the drain
Those genetics
Water down the drain
Memories
Water under the bridge
Bridges between planets
Is heaven another planet
Heaven's will does not seem to be done on earth
What kind of heritage does that culture

As anyone does

This morning I woke up with a star above my head

Sketched in pencil, the paint had already left

The sun streamed in through the open window.

Velvet words on red lips--
They fell with the weight
Of dormant hopes
And whispered goodbyes,
A flickering lightbulb
Going off in her eyes--
The jaunty smile of her skirt
Seemed to deflate,
Hanging limply just below
Her bruised knees--
She said so many things.
Now was the time
To say the ones
she missed.

I know very
Well that
I havenā€™t been
The greatest
At love,

I havenā€™t chased
Grand gestures or vows,
But stumbled through
The mornings after,
The movie dinners,
The silences
Between us
Where love sits,
Waiting to be noticed,
Not a princess in a tower
Waiting to be saved,
But just two people,
Trying to stay close
Despite the gaps.

I donā€™t know if
Iā€™ve loved the
Imperfections,
Iā€™ve loved despite
Them,
The realization hits
Like a slasher movie,
Too late at night,
And too young
And unsupervised,

Sometimes I leave
Notes hidden in
Vases, behind cabinets,
Above the fridge,
And in the pockets
Of the new jeans
That I just got,
As a reminder to love,

Today I found one
In my glove compartment,
Itā€™s getting cooler so
I rolled down the windows
And felt the breeze
Every time there was a red light,
I had the music loud,
Enjoying the mess of genres
Thatā€™s my Spotify playlist,
And I savored the moment,
In solitude, learning to love,
Not despite, but because of.
