self-hatred
is art
just like
poetry
it needs to be expressed

a razor blade
is my pen
my skin
the paper
and my blood
the ink

art tells a story
coming from
deep inside
our darkest secrets
revealed
and once they're written down
they stay
forever.

There you stand
In all your gloriously impossible perfection
Absolutely s t u n n i n g
Skin glowing brighter than the moon
In a clear
Night sky

I wish someone saw me the way I see you
I know love
Is something we will never share
And that's ok
but
I will always look at you
Like you are the moon
Because
You were the first
to make me realize
I CAN love
And that is a beautiful thing

Time is but a crown
        'round eternity's head,
It must be so
                An endless coronet --

This much is true:
We have been here
        Before. I remember
Everything:
You dancing your way
        to the door,
Ruffling your wings,

Already smiling the
                smile of the Dead,
Yet posing all the right
        questions about your
                little universe --

Ask Moebius if you don't
        believe me.
He understood:
There is no setting out
                or coming home,
Just
One
Timeless
Knowing --
Physicists tell us that the real nature of time is not comprehensible by human brains that can only perceive the world as three-dimensional. So it is left to the poet's to describe. . . .

I saw the little boy with my own eyes
He cupped the sun in his hands
Then threw it away in the deep ocean.
It was him, who gathered all the sand
With his hands and his bare feet
Under his red pail,he hid it all, underneath
And threw it in the ocean.
Then he giggled really loud
That caused ripples
And from ripples emerged big waves…
In the ocean.

today,
I wore it again
and people complimented me
they say red is my color
and it suits me.

today,
it's too thick and dark
did I overapply
no, it's the right amount
just enough
to make them think
I'm fine.

today,
I look at myself
in the mirror,
and they're right
red shines on me,
so I applied
another layer,
and another
until my lips felt too thick,
but my eyes still see
the scars beneath it.

My heart slowly spins on a spool atop your spindle.
Your gentle hands weaving each thread into twines of love as you combine our two heartstrings into one.
Endlessly your ball of twine grows until our love fills the room in which you sit on your pedestal.
Slowly our love continues to grow until it soon fills the halls with tiny laughter and the tiny pitter patter of little feet.
Never have I known such a sound that could stop me and make me feel so complete!
With our hearts you’ve sewn love into life’s most beautiful tapestry!
Just a quick rough draft. Would like any input... mahalo!

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

Little children
Beware of idols
An image instilled in our mind
Cannot fulfill or console

The crucifix on the wall
With Jesus’s dead image
That’s where people fall
Bowing in homage

They never get past the death
To see the resurrection
Jesus is not that dead man on the cross breathing out His last breath
He’s conquered amidst them all from death to perfection

Splendor in Magnificence
He crushed the principalities
Rose out of that grave in all power in spite of their defiance
He gave up His life even for those who nailed Him to the death defying cross for all humanities

Lord Jesus You are omnipotent
Loving all who hate You
Freely You give to all who repent
Saving the least of these as I am one You rescued

Oh no your not that dead man on the cross
Your Arm Span embraced from east to west
Your voice so soft
Yet like a trumpet heard through silence

Let us bless You Lord
Let us wait on Your Word
Just as in the upper room in one accord
Waiting for the Power that is promised and is what You died for

So all can be as You are in us
Jesus standing firm in the souls that receive Him
Don’t wait around for a Super Bowl event Jesus or bust
He’s quiet and simple loving to the brim

Give Him honor and praises
Allow your soul to let Him in
Repentance is a gift so don’t pass up His grace
Truth be know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Him

So lift up your voices to give honor to the only One
Who died a horrible death yet rose before the sun
Benevolent is Your nature all will succumb
Come Lord Jesus Thy Will be done!

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.
