you told me you couldn't give me

small things like

I could ever have hoped
to be.

The sirens will play
Blood on the highway
Such hazardous parts:
Our menacing hearts

Reason was blinded
Lust hadn't minded
So hopelessly vexed:
We dreaded what's next

Our schemes were derailed
We tried and we failed
She lives by my pen:
Destroyer of Men

Our schemes had begun
My demons had fun
So surely, I find:
I'm losing my mind

In dreams, she appears
I'm plagued by my fears
In silence, we flee:
Regret, death, and me

So solemn and crossed
I'm helplessly lost
Where once she had fled:
She's trapped in my head...

To my Brothers,
To my Kings,
remember that your crown will always shine endlessly
remember the strength endure with each tuck and fold you make
even through the darkest times from humanity's hits, your crown may seem to unravel but I promise it will never fall.
because...
remember the touch of our mothers and grandmothers as they comb and braid our thick, dark hair; ever so gently yet with the greatest strength of them all.
remember the smell and touch of their hands as the oils they use to wrap around each strand of hair with love and care; nourishing your roots.
a perfect foundation built for your crown to sit so effortlessly placed by our fathers and grandfathers in solidarity in between our shoulders.

Vino color de día,
vino color de noche,
vino con pies de púrpura
o sangre de topacio,
vino,
estrellado hijo
de la tierra,
vino, liso
como una espada de oro,
suave
como un desordenado terciopelo,
vino encaracolado
y suspendido,
amoroso,
marino,
nunca has cabido en una copa,
en un canto, en un hombre,
coral, gregario eres,
y cuando menos, mutuo.
A veces
te nutres de recuerdos
mortales,
en tu ola
vamos de tumba en tumba,
picapedrero de sepulcro helado,
y lloramos
lágrimas transitorias,
pero
tu hermoso
traje de primavera
es diferente,
el corazón sube a las ramas,
el viento mueve el día,
nada queda
dentro de tu alma inmóvil.
El vino
mueve la primavera,
crece como una planta la alegría,
caen muros,

tu cadera
es la curva colmada
de la copa,
tu pecho es el racimo,
la luz del alcohol tu cabellera,
las uvas tus pezones,
tu ombligo sello puro
estampado en tu vientre de vasija,
y tu amor la cascada
de vino inextinguible,
la claridad que cae en mis sentidos,
el esplendor terrestre de la vida.

Pero no sólo amor,
beso quemante
o corazón quemado
eres, vino de vida,
sino
amistad de los seres, transparencia,
coro de disciplina,
abundancia de flores.
Amo sobre una mesa,
cuando se habla,
la luz de una botella
de inteligente vino.
Que lo beban,
que recuerden en cada
gota de oro
o copa de topacio
o cuchara de púrpura
que trabajó el otoño
hasta llenar de vino las vasijas
y aprenda el hombre oscuro,
en el ceremonial de su negocio,
a recordar la tierra y sus deberes,
a propagar el cántico del fruto.

All is quiet tonight ,
As I look out my bedroom  window.
The only light ,
Are the twinkling stars glow.

The night such a pretty sight ,
Yet I must return to my bed.
So I wish you all a good night ,
As I lay down my sleepy head.

love it can be fatal when its been denied
it can drive you crazy even suicide
it can take your world fill it with despair
when the love you had is no longer there

it can be so cruel break your heart in two
turn you inside out rip the soul from you
but you must be strong. let time make it mend
dont let it get to you down send you round the bend

then love will return to your heart inside
and replace the love that was once denied

Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

Vanity
All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again
He steps out on the sidewalk.
He looks at the big building ahead of his path.
He stares back at the other students.
He is so excited in the inside but fearful on the outside.
He got ushered in by a welcoming teacher.
He takes a big leap, a deep breathe, and puts a calm expression on his face.
Courage takes over his body, and fear leaving his face.
That big leap will lead to a big dream...
If you ever think that you might  feel that you are all alone think that there is somebody else just like you. look back at this and remember if you take that big leap it may lead to another big leap or a big dream.

i love you,
and to prove it,
i need to end myself?
it's not  that I'm scared,
but i would die,
not knowing,
if you smiled,
when you knew,
i loved you more than myself
a lot of people **** themselves to show someone how they love them, but if you did you will never be able to know if your love for them, made them smile

of warm, yellow joy -
infectious - as sunshine
beams across our faces.

An abundance of petals,
golden in the light.
Growing toward the sun,
striving for perfection.

Our beautiful sunflower,
nurtured and thriving,
growing through my heart, warm
with happiness and love.

ok okay
The chill has come
From feverous winds
And the coming darkness in the sky

My brain feels numb
As if everything internal has faded away
No more chitter chatter in my mind

The rain feels gentle
A feeling as forgiving as the midnight sky
It tells story's with its pitters and patters into the late night

I love this feeling
To admire what we have
Because we have so much

Yet it never seems to be enough
But for this moment
I can just appreciate the beauty

And for tomorrow, who knows

Where are they that went asleep?
The ones we had, but ne'er keep
Right here in front of our eyes
They flared away in the sky
Yet, we pet our mind not to fret
As if we knew the world they went.

The antiquity of thy beam
Slowly swinging into gloom
Like the ancientness of thy giggle

Our lives came already patterned. Like a mountain high and a mountain low

Goes smoothly
Where all our hopes
And dreams
Come true

I’m sick of my brain telling me no one cares
that no one really loves me and if I wasn’t around no one would notice
It’s told me this my whole life

my brain has lied to me so many times

Time flies by so fast then its past

Remember special moments always last

So make some memories to treasure

Each day have and give some pleasure

So when second chances do come by

To love again say yes reach for the sky

Because I love the moments in time

When you're with me and you are mine

Cherish and relish everyday while you can

Precious are the moments when love is the plan
make every moment count

You are abstract.
Rare in our world of black and white.
So full of color that you burst.
Beautiful on canvas and in theory.

Stunning is you when you shine.
Breathless is me here before you.
I want so badly to fill in the cracks.

Contrasting elements leave us lingering
in this place that we now can frame.

I could look at you for hours not wanting to blink.
Gazing into the powerful man,
Seeing beyond what others may see.

I'm captivated and perhaps a bit shaken. Always left in such awe.

I say this with absolute certainty,
needing to catch your tears in my hands.
You are a masterpiece.
You are a work of art.

im tired.
im tired of watching cuts slowly heal over and bruise.
im tried of begging for help.. silently.
im so tired.
i cant even hold my head up anymore.
but you know, im flexible.
you can pull me and i wont break.
not yet anyway
I met you in the winter, and I remember
Your hair burned like autumn leaves.
Like a fresh cup of coffee on the skin,
Like embarrassed, flushed red cheeks,
And like the suffocating stage lights.

I wished I could be half as bright as you,
Half as warm and welcoming as you,
Half as deep-fried meme-ish as you.
But before you could teach me,
I had to hand you the paper towels.

And we became friends.
always know where the paper towels are, it might gain you a friend

maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.
red flags went up everywhere, but i didn’t bother looking
The Moon must have kissed her
—before I
and the moon must have missed her
—more than I
fore her love only came to me, in waves,
and I'd beg

for mercy

my love
my love come back to me
but she was meant for the sea
and I—
could not follow.
So in her divine love,
the love of life and light to follow
she carved out paths for me
and brackish water set us free

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.
