We are two different worlds
And it *****
I wish I wasnโ€™t
Wish I was better suited
We both deserve better
But the world plays games
I canโ€™t tell if she knows
or if she's even into me
Or if sheโ€™s just creeped out
Because, different worlds
But I want herโ€ฆ badly
and I'm afraid she knows
not that it stops me
a boy still dreams
I want to ravage her like thereโ€™s no tomorrow
I imagine her whispering my name in the dark
Her blonde hair dangling over my face
Her eyes trapping mine
her smiling shining in the darkness
She smells like a garden in my dreams
She always wears black
But I see her in a white dress
Her hands soft against my face
They melt me with her heat
I swearโ€ฆ
Iโ€™m afraid sheโ€™d be worth every consequence
Iโ€™m scared because I wouldnโ€™t regret her
She paints her lips in a glossy pink
Reminds me of donut frosting
But theyโ€™re probably sweeter
And in a more natural
Addicting way
Not that it would stop me otherwise
Iโ€™d wanna kiss her
Even if she made my teeth hurt
She paints her nails blood red
I pretend itโ€™s my blood
From digging them into my back
****, she caught me
Iโ€™ve been staring at her nonstop
โ€œWhat you thinking about?โ€ She asks
And I shrug her off
โ€œJust thinking about somethingโ€ฆ
You know...โ€
She laughs, and I laugh
And we pretend itโ€™s not weird
But you know

I look up the skies,
And I saw the clouds.
I look at your eyes,
It's not me you want around.

I felt the urge to apologize,
Cause its only now that I realized.
I'm sorry for the times you wasted on me,
Instead with the girl you like to be with.

As I walk away from you,
Please take it as goodbye...
I'm letting my love go,
to chase the girl he likes.

Sad
And tired
No energy
Nor patience
I canโ€™t
Imagine
A worse time
Anger sinks in
Slowly but surely
Iโ€™m losing my mind
And replacing it
With gloom
I donโ€™t know
If you still love me
Talk to me
I need to hear your voice
Please
Because Iโ€™m
Empty
Yet full of
Sadness

Today marks one month of sobriety.
Iโ€™m happy with myself Iโ€™m staying clean.
Iโ€™m experiencing first hand why getting clean seems like an insurmountable task,
why itโ€™s inherently formidable.
Itโ€™s not because of the task of getting clean itself, its because of everything thatโ€™s in my face while Iโ€™m clean-
the trauma, the distressing emotions & thoughts, the self defeating conditioning. Itโ€™s all clear as day, itโ€™s inescapable now.
Iโ€™m proud of myself for choosing to face & deal, over numb & escape.
Iโ€™m going to take one day at a time.
I aim to live everyday now.

On the break
Season,
I asked..
Does he miss me?
Why has he never called?
Does he even have an idea why?
Why i left?
Why i try to be happy for him?
Why i hold back my tears?
Why i keep smiling in disguise?
Why he keeps me guessing?

Then in long solitude
I learnt you can't miss
What you replaced.
An ache is barely blown off by wind.

One more year ends,
Counting few others.

This is the time
of the blown out candles,
Unaired balloon,
No whipped cream,
And non received postcards.

The closed restaurants,
And unreachable phone lines,
and boredom filled eyes.

It is the time of truth
Looking into my lines,
I have seen many years now,
Never seen times like this.

A very happy birthday to me.

I have never thanked you,
for the conversations.

I have never thanked you,
for the smile.

I have never thanked you,
for asking me how i'm really doing.

I have never thanked you,
for staying alive.

Thank you,
thank you.

what does it feel like to be held
not by another body
not by a set of limbs, a chest, a chin
but
by another soul

what does it feel like
to see truth in another pair of eyes
instead of hidden intentions
instead of absence

what does it feel like
to hear a familiar heartbeat
resounding next to your own
reaching through skin
through bone
two rhythms
indistinguishable

what does it feel like
to write poems about
a love that exists

staring out the window,
I remember you as you were

a bird always in flight

a fist full of tomorrows
held in the palm of your hand

staring out the window at the pouring rain
the warmth of your hand
pinions of a dove's wing
your hand in mine

I will not see the shadow
under your smile

gathering all the light in a room
like a flower in the sun

I remember you as you were
being with you is such a pleasant feeling
i'm scared to write poems about us
you're so precious
i don't want to
romanticize
you
might make this into another poem

Hands like raw chicken
Dead bones wrapped in a cold skin
Lifeless to the world.

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.

Summer clings to her skin and
drips from her lips like a lovesong.

Each freckle that dusts her
face is a blessing from the
blazing sun.

Her hair falls down her back
in strawberry colored waves, each
gentle curl enticingly lovely.

She is beautiful as her skin grows
golden after every lick of heatโ€”
blossoming in the Summer sun.

She grows steady and strong
like an oak tree, living every day
like she'll never have it again.
Summer is my favorite time of the year.

I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)

If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
Youโ€™d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
โ€œIโ€™m tired,โ€
โ€œIโ€™m a failure,โ€
โ€œIโ€™m stupid โ€“โ€
I know it sounds stupid,
Itโ€™s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
Youโ€™d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
Youโ€™d see the monsters
That consume my head;
Youโ€™d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
Youโ€™d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d see the face
Iโ€™ve failed to show back then,
The face Iโ€™ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
Youโ€™d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

Baby, don't worry,
I love you more
than my soul
You're my dream
and life goal.

I feel so sorry,
I'm not there with you
right now
But I always find myself
in you.
Soon I will get back
to you.

I love you, I miss you
Baby, don't worry!
I feel you, I want you
Honey, don't worry!

Sweetie, I will come soon.
Your memories
still make me smile
I remember
you were climbing a stile
to walk with me
in the afternoon.

One day all the dreams
will come true
'Cause everyone knows
our love is true.
There is no need to worry!

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I donโ€™t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
Heโ€™s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
โ€œWeโ€™re perfect for each otherโ€
And you canโ€™t tell me
Heโ€™s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.
look what you've done to my heart
do you see what you've turned me into
i used to be a good person
now i see a spitting image of you
with all the whispering and lying
though i only speak the truth
expsoing your deception has made me sick
the guilt has rotted through

Mimic my sound

Speak my language
You precious bottle-nose

The trouble you have
With the letter M
Sure makes funny bubbles
Beneath the surface

What then should we talk of
This morning?
Miss Kelly, perhaps

Every room
Is an island, my child

Never isolate your love

Let it run to the sea
It's where I will always be
