something turns the aged coils of mind
-to flip an idea into art

a poet is reborn to be reborn
-within each coil of their song

snake minded eating the forbidden
-we trudge into our past

coming back with a handful
-of experience, denial, and mysterious calm.

suspended in water,
slowly sinking in.

take a deep breath,
you're engulfed in.

don't be afraid,
breathe it in
"deep breath, it's okay to fall in love again."

loving someone again, it's like your floating in a body of water, you feel it but you don't acknowledge it fully unless you let the waters engulf you completely. Scary at first but everything's gonna be al'right.

Williams' plums

Nor have I seen

Forgive me

welcome to ana heaven
where people are collar bones
and thigh gaps are God

we are fragile, like petals
the only simile that saves me
from the harsh reality

i don’t look at you, i look through you
x-ray vision desecrates you
i don’t see you as human
i see bones

you are not thin yet, child
come with me, and it’ll be worth your while
or you collapse into the clouds
and god forbid, you fall back to Earth

stay in play land
where we live off tea and acid reflux

where we spit up food
and giggle like babies
at the sight of our malnourished bodies

give me ana heaven, sick skin
give me laxatives, stick thin

or i have nothing at all.

My dear tulip,
you stand tall in your ground,
and you're all that I see,
I've grown out a pair,
of eyes to see you only,
of arms to wrap you with,
Your love carries this bright warm aura,
and that makes you unique and special,
and also irreplaceable to me,
There's so many people in this world,
none can come even close to being compared with you,
seeing you smile and laugh everyday,
is the only thing that makes my day brighter,
Whenever I walk with you hand in hand,
it feels like time goes by really quickly,
You're someone who's filled with beauty,
and also so much positivity that it makes me smile,
To me, you're my one and only Tulip,
in this flower garden...

I'm fine, I say laughing and exiting the door to the bathroom.
No one notices the new bandaid that has added itself to my wrist.

I'm fine, I say talking through the phone to you.
You don't notice that my voice is shaking.

Did you teach yourself to cry quietly, like me?
Did you learn every vein and artery in your wrists like me?

From the infinite spark of dark rivers of light thought takes flight. Springing forth sight aware lost in the night. Seeking  for envisions  for right. In order to fight the infinite spark of dark rivers of light.

The scent of the flower matched her ice blue eyes
As the silk petals brushed my thighs

Beautiful colouring to attract the bee
I Taste the nectar brought home to me

Her lips brushed my face as I bowed for one last smell
Her secret is mine I will not tell

Christmas lights aglow in the night
Hot fire-places blazing all cozy and bright
Romance blossoms like a white rose
Icicles reflecting the light as it snows
Santa is coming tonight; Be sure to close your eyes tight
Tree alight as he sneaks in just out of sight
Memories under the tree as he works his magic
Angels of our loved ones looking down all ecstatic
Seasons to lift the spirits of all; Merry Christmas one and all.

At a glance, all you see is a dancer
Making her way across life's stage
With multiple questions to fill in blank answers
Never quite sure of what she should say

Dancing away all her troubles
That bubble up inside her brain
It's hard to keep count with the sound of doubt
Being the tune that continually plays

That's why she's a bit off in rythme
Explains the half-empty smile
Still, she'll keep on in her dancing
Until the day her feet completely leave the ground

Where she'll dance with the night to the stars delight
As they wait in line for their turn
To twist and to twirl with this Galaxy girl
Where her questions have all found their answers

no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art

Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind

Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

My doubt the seeds
Begging them to grow

There are roses climbing

digging in my skin

to their thorns and beauty

in my lungs
bloodied petals
filling my throat
and falling from my lips

Tears are sliding
down my cheeks
I've had enough

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.
