What is me?
not even a speck
in this universe sea.
who am I even?
I can't believe in
the being human,
where there are seven billion
just like me,
while I keep my eyes close
to this reality.

I wonder what it’s like
To be as one and don’t feel half
To be so close and near
behind a shield of broken fear

Fixed by their presence
Enlightened by their life
Enchanted by their breath
Calmed by their aura

A smile that touches more
Do you wonder too?
Are you a searching soul?
Show me the signs

If it burns down now-
Would I save this feeling
Would I let it burn
Carry it out?

Slow and steady
I look down to the rocks
Between these waves
The floods of fluttering beasts

Is it a burden or a wish?
Does it come true?
Do I want it to?

I wish
her scars were on my heart
and not on her arms.
I chased what I thought was the sun setting
As I got closer I noticed it was my life ending
Eyes closing, slimmer , dimmer
I could feel my heart beating
While I’m grabbing for my chest
Kaleidoscope dream it seemed
Lucid dream maybe
No one is around , let me
Let go of all i cant control
Changes, dreaming dreams bare fruit
My old life turns over like my eggs, sunny side up.

All poets were poets in the past life!
In love with literature:
poetry, love, war,
the cryptic and fantastical,
the beloved imagination.
But the love was too strong,
an affair so raw,
it bared no secrets,
that it shattered the barrier of finality,
and truly became timeless,
and here you are.
Do you ever think that inside you lives a past poet that just wants to continue loving poetry?
Enjoy (:
dreamed of devastation,           flew miles        low

over concrete .   skeletons,      bones of the thing.

all is dust, as dust we have become.
have i become complacent
content with the linear life i am leading
leading me nowhere, and fast
i can chase tomorrow, tonight
but how long will that last
young and spry, they fade
and the wind guard of youth
and you will feel
uneven, even shaded by leisure
to find kinks that will not give relief
in your day, in work and love, most painfully of all
despite your values and beliefs
the dream died
you take all of the
stars in the night sky with you
whenever you leave.

I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)
a brand new balloon
treasured by a naive child
he tries his best to keep it safe
but the wind carries it away
the string  drifting from his hands
moving further and further into the sky
and he can do nothing but watch
Tonight I hugged an angel
And it made my night
As she looked me in the eyes
And held me real tight
I sang to her a song
And I saw her dance
As her stunning beauty
Had me in a trance
Tonight I met an angel
And she made me so happy
Tonight I was in heaven
Because she talked to me
A poem I was in a pored to write
night now day
heavenly stars fade
arctic summer

They looked around
It was behind them

I am in a nowhere place
I thought it was getting better
Whatever ‘it’ was.
But it’s back.
And so are you.

everything's different
but nothing has changed
just realities clashing
and life picking up the pace
I just want to see your face
but I don't want you to see mine
you'll read me too well
you'll see I'm not fine
after telling you I am
and I'm doing what I can
but I don't know how to recover from
the trust we had that was lost
I don't have the change for the cost
lend me some quarters baby
I'm a change machine
that's needing some rewiring
I don't want to need loose change anymore
I wanna be solar, baby
just need some more light on me

I ask myself, why do crows

build nests in the same tree

year after year,

I would never even presume

to ask why trees continue

to live in the same forest

Or why, when women meet

with similar dresses they are

always in the same place

Safety always seeks same,

change always courts courage,

wisdom always warrants difference.
Seek accomplishment in love

And you will never fail again
Oh bland and beautiful afternoon sun
Of  days  gone by it seems I see your beauty
Now for the first time  Everything at peace
In the populated village no one is around You
Are the same but I yearn more than ever to
Draw close  To know you better-this time
I am but
one star
in the
that you
I am but
a rain's
it is
the ocean
that you
need to
swim in.
upon me.
and jump
within me.
I long
to be
for thee.

written by me... ..
Of you
Of your voice
Of your lies
Of your fake smile
Of your fake love
And when I see you with her
After you called to say your flight was late
I know I’m tired
Of my love for you
When I look at you,
I don’t see darkness
I don’t see rain
I don’t see pain

When I speak to you,
I don’t feel sadness
I don’t feel neglect
You always show respect

When I think of you,
It gives me strength
Because you’re so bright
My brightest light

When I dream of you,
I find myself in your arms
Right where I belong
Right where I feel strong

When I fell in love with you,
I knew it was true
Because you drowned my sorrows
And now I can see tomorrow
Rama Krsna
the nectar of love
only comes with
the poison of pain,
two for the exorbitant price of one

at the chasm of life and death
destroyed by love
grief remains as life’s sole friend

the memories of love
now belong to time
and this aging body to the five elements.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.
You are the light of my life
My morning sun and my evening moon
I want to reach you and stay by your side
Too bad you’re just “not in the mood”
Too bad “you have better things to do”
Because the only thing I do
is think of you

I dream
of you thinking about me too
Sometimes we want to be cared about by the wrong person
the night my life changed
i was wearing
a white dress
with blue and red

and you were wearing
well, actually
it doesn't

the night my life changed
it was dark
and you were drunk
and somehow
it was my fault
this is not my story, but it needs to be heard.
This place is where I find liberty Exists
No one knows me
I know no one
A perfect place to
say what we feel,
what we desire,
When life is unbearable and tries to break me from every nook and corner,
I come here and blabber my heart out,
What would have been my life
Without this place.
I blame you.
For the dreams that died.
For the love that i will never have.
For the smile that you took from me.
I wanted to fly far away but you
Burnt my wings keeping me
In the cold darkness.
I blame you for killing me.
I like to take a negative feeling and turn it
Into something good.
We should allow people room to grow and breathe support someone in there dreams

Dear death,

I have met life,
He wants me to fight,
But I'm so weak-
So can we meet?
The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.
i'm losing friends like i'm losing sleep
apologies don't work, and neither do sheep
don't go, because i want you to stay
but don't lie to me, you're leaving someday
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
Life makes you dream.
Life smashes them.
The constant cycle of the mortal.
That's life.

The sooner you see the thorn in heaven,
the sooner you see the bud of the rose in hell,
and you will be free.

Now, that's life.
She said "I'm falling in love."

I said "I'm falling apart."
What's the difference?
They said,
"The most beautiful art is
looking into someone's eyes
when they talk about the
things they love.
And I said,
"Or looking at someone you love.
Or maybe, just maybe,
by looking at the mirror
is the most beautiful art
anyone should appreciate."
Appreciation post for myself; for you and for everyone as well. You deserve more than the world has to offer.
We don’t see the carrots to be cut,
We see the sharp knife that could cut us.

We don’t see the bridge,
We see the other side of the railings.

We don’t see painkillers,
We see medication we could drown ourselves in.

We don’t see the train,
We see the tracks we could lay on.

We don’t see the nice view,
We see the cliff's edge we could jump off.

Why do you push people away?

"I want them to be happy."
Masha Yurkevich
you can't
paint over me.
My mistakes,
my life, it's whom
I want to be.
So go
take your
and your paint, too,
because I love my every
stain, and I'll keep every
color; red, green,
or blue.

By my every stain I mean my every mistake or misfortune, because I learn from each one of them.

I hope it looks somewhat like a paintbrush. I messed around with it, and the result is before your eyes.

still and quiet nights
words come in stifling cascades
borne of sky and stars

I come
To you today
With yet another scheme
For a wild, foolish adventure.
