I've been dreaming about a girl
With silver hair and icy eyes,
With pink lips and good vibes,
With the softest smile and skinny thighs...
She was the sun ray that kissed your face
After the cruel winter haze.
She was the gracious lioness,
Almost like a royal Highness.

But she was just a con
Because, c'mon ,
She told me she loved me,
That she'll never leave me
And then I woke up and she was gone
And I was left alone from dusk 'till dawn.
When you think you just found your true Happiness, then Life waltzes in and gives you a good slap.

I am here.
I am breathing.

Blood flows through my veins.
The warmth of the sun touches my skin.
A soft breeze wafts through my hair.

I can see that which lays before me.
I can hear the sounds of the world around me.
I can smell a faint sweetness in the morning dew.
I can touch the petals of a delicate flower.

But I do not feel alive.
you said that you loved me i believed in you
i listened to my heart it told me i do
i fell in love with you the day that we first met
the best day of my life one i wont forget.

we had lots of fun you warmed my heart and soul
brought me happiness made me feel so whole
made my dreams come true and my wishes to
you were in my dream and i wished for you.

the day that we got married i knew that i would be
happy ever after for eternity
everything i wished for made my my dreams come true
the rest of my life i want to spend with you
My thoughts are ravens
Circling the sky
And blacking it out,
And scrambling.

There was once that time
That time when i felt for you
Though there were disappointments
I still remember it being so true
Felt like entering my past... thoughts
it kills me inside to
watch you leave
so unexpectedly when
all i did was
care and love you.

we were perfect one day
and then the next day came
where we went our
separate ways.

All of them are clouds
All the loves of my long life
Summer clouds that drift
my hands are cold
and my eyes are sore
and i don't think
i can take it anymore
my lips are chapped
and my energy is sapped
i'm tired
and weak
and i can't find what i seek
all i want
is to be
snuggling with you
right next to me
but my lids are heavy
and my body aches
im so tired
of making mistakes
What is death
but an ailment
we cannot

thank you
for telling me i’m better off
without you.
thank you for saying i can do better.
thank you for offering to be there for me.
my heart said goodbye to you last night.
i am at peace
for the first time
since the day i met you.
i can’t thank you enough for helping me let go.
i never knew why
i wasn’t comfortable letting go completely.
thank you for closure.
goodnight ian
you have wanderers’ eyes with
impossibly long eyelashes
high voltage in my lips
my teeth jitter with each word but
i have nothing left to say
i wish I cared more but
damage control
matters more

In case no one gets it,
i collect my excerpts
than i spell my prayer.
Spills my personal feelings
and trouble,
longer than i bow
on my knees.

i memorize every shame
and quote it
into a piece of paper,
the same stroke
they did to break
my bones.
Marks down
every of their tone
when i got yelled at,
being degraded.

In case no one gets it,
i use my fingertips to fight.
Being sure of my words,
but never myself.

They can take off my guts,
break down my sanity
into pieces of insecurity.
Yet i’m here to remain bold
until the last spill of ink,
and my pen
can no longer stand.
the battle is in my head
it's been days...
since I felt the salt on my skin
burning from the sun
making my skin golden
glowing, my cheeks blushing all day every day
my hair curly and salty

my feet kicking the blue sea
playing with the sand wet or dry
running with my dog
my golden legs moving

my hair seaweed as I float on the surface of the blue waters
swirling around, playing, dancing
the cold waters cooling my burnt golden skin

the waves making music
the fire crackling to keep me and my friends warm
as we listen to one play the guitar
as we gaze at the diamonds in the sky

Neptune sharing his beauty
making me and everything and one around me beautiful
It was a Graveyard of stars dark yet tragically beautiful,
the moon fits with her smile,

She's like the moon,
doesn't have a light that steals the night that glows for years,
but not everyone sees it.

That she shoot for every moon and would always land on a stars;

We each sit in silence,
punctuated by the scrape of canvas,
and while it takes a while for me to hear you,
to taste the essence of you,
- slowly you filter through your curves, your creases
and I cease to see your flesh and instead
I see the palette of you,
embedded in your years of sitting,
of waiting for this, this view,
this interpretation of you,
while sitting in this steady state
of quiet undress
Each September comes BEAT Borough of Ealing Art Trail - Art shown in artists homes. And each August poets are invited to write an accompanying poem to a piece of art. This is one of my BEAT poems.

Two firemen
Lost at sea.
Disappeared whilst fishing.
An entire community
Supporting the search
Prayers coming from everywhere
And donations.
I sure hope they find them
It's been 4 days.
Will they be saved
Or will the prayers go unanswered
And the community's efforts be in vain?
It'd be nice to get some good news today
Instead of a tragedy
And two firemen missing
Forever lost at sea
Just going fishing.
We'll see.
I just wonder when your alone
Do you think of the wrong you’ve done
Or am I just a trophy
That sits above your fireplace
On a cold winter day
Sometimes we wonder if those who’ve wronged us ever feel a need to apologize.. The truth is one can’t admit a issue if they truly believe they there self was never the issue

as my lover swims
in the blue waters
under the golden Sun
the birds sing a song of love.
she stands alone
in a sea of pearls.
the Sun rays shine upon on her milky skin.
Neptune's kingdom was built for her
Dripping like dew drops from a hanging vine,
I was built to crawl and fall,
and scale the jungle floor.
I spent my time,
Thinking of you today,
It was brief,
But now the time is spent,
And tomorrow I'll pay again.

I wish I were prettier
I wish I were younger
I wish I were smarter
I wish I was skinnier
I wish I did not have to love with all my heart
I wish someone would love me back
I wish that person would want to keep me and not just use me
I wish I could mean so much to someone
I wish I wasn't alone so **** much
And all the things that once made us alive
Eventually fades
Sad how everything must come to an end
All the memories and all the love we shared
What a waste, it’s all in vain
Nothing is forever all we have is now
And now is pointless, why do we even try?
But one thing is for sure
You cant have it all
Enjoy the happy ones, before the dark ones come along.
Where mothers whale,
family, friend, and foe
gather in last respect
and jovial sadness,
greeted by whiskey and tea, in the aftermath of moths wearing black vails, stepping on flytrap petals,
walking down the aisle of the pallbearers wedding.
Flowers bloom on the bright green trees
Exotic leaves blow back and forth, back and forth
Ancient branches begin to wrinkle as the
Roses get heavier and heavier.

It is not love,

sometimes a need to hold

someone, when it gets cold

in empty beds.

I crave the sound

of someone’s heart

close to my skin,

to feel the heat

of flaring fires

and burn away

these overgrown

dreams and desires.

“How we need that security. How we need another soul to cling to, another body to keep us warm. To rest and trust; to give your soul in confidence: I need this. I need someone to pour myself into.”
― Sylvia Plath

Make the most of your life
- people say,
we only have one,
so enjoy it, my friend.

Only one life,
no more, no less.

One life,
but so many deaths.

I don't love you that way anymore.
I am not sure but I don't.
I am stricken  with fear that won't,
Be aware  of things that I missed with us together.
Seventeen Years gone like a an old truck that had rusted through.
You have done this to my heart that trusted you.
Walking away like you just watched a movie.
Leaving my with out a catch of any sorry.
I am supposed to move on with all my emotions.
Because your happy now and that is your only notion.

all mine, all mine—
in this Elysian
castle of glass
made of nightly
wishes and tears—
princesses, knights,
kings, queens,
jack of all trades,
Johannes factotum—

you are all mine—
all mine!
you are all mine.
keep your eyes closed love.

"keep your eyes closed love. sometimes all you have to listen is to what the sound of the waves tells you to do"

When I was much younger, beaches were my second favorite places. I still love watching waves as they go by, crashing against each other and the whole process repeating all over again.
In a coloured world
You're black and white
In this sunny life
You're eternal night

In my course palms
You're silk liquid
In this broken home
You can't fix it

But in my eyes
You're a dancer
And in my mind
You're already mine
But I'll write you a love song anyways.

I'm not tired

Oh well

I found the pieces of me that were left
and carried them in the tired bags left underneath my eyes
wanting so badly to leave it all behind
and rest

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

her eyes were shut

her words were in anguish
