Your skin,
is the color of a rusty gate
your teeth,
collapse like the colliseusm
your arms,
flap gracefully like an albatross
and your eyes,
remain a mausoleum.

(EVIDENCE: Prior to her arrest, this romantic Valentine's Day card was found next to the bullet riddled body of Mrs. Hubbert's husband)
the dirty poet
usually you think what you're supposed to think
a stray diseased notion may infect you
but the antibodies of society eradicate the menace
so the rivers of money keep flowing
into the oceans of the rich
and no one loses sleep
including you
Lazarus Bertsch
Why you mad,
Why you mad,
Why you mad,
Why you mad,
Why do you always throw me away,
Why are you always the main source of my pain,
Why cant you just look and see,
He's just fake and make believe,
But there's will always be love for you and me,
But the only thing u do is throw my love away,
Your the main Source of my pain,
You make my heart so much I just want to throw my life away.
And I know so many things to be universal

I read somewhere once that we are all related to one another

to the tune of 50th cousins

That you just can’t go back that many generations

That there aren’t enough people left to give anyone their own grandparents

Or something

So intangible

I want to feel the connection between each two men

I believe we are all a woven blanket of fibrous soul

Aptly covered in fibrous meat

I want to believe that we all share more than ancestors, but I will settle for this
Sleepless nights
Worthless fights
When can I experience
Your love so tight?

When will the Gods above
Grant us the never ending love
As the moon rise up
The dust of my broken hearts makes me cough

If I ever got the chance
I will grab you by the hands
Tell you, you are the prettiest poison
And the perfect solution.
I've lost my novelty
I'm no longer the shiny new toy that held your attention
I've lost your interest
I'm no longer that person

You let the sparks fly
And the ignition start
The fire in the pit
Put out in the dark

Now cigarettes are all I taste
Numbing it down with scotch
Tingling sensations
I try not to take it to heart
Your revelations don't look nothing like the pictures
You read between the lines and don't stick to the scriptures
You only follow rules if others follow with you
That doesn't sound so holy only playing victim
You were standing there like an angry god
Counting out my sins just to cross them off
Saying that my tongue was too loud to trust
And that my blood couldn't keep you
My dear, you're not so innocent
You're fooling Heaven's gates
So you won't have to change
You're no saint, you're no savior
Earthen Heart
She still stands, vibrant as ever
Despite the short days
Despite the cold creeping in
Alone in the shadows of the mighty trees
Allowing just enough sun through to let her thrive
Day after day, I stumble upon her beauty
And she doesn't cease to remind me
That all we need is the soil to root in
That all we need is the light to breathe in

el verso entre los labios de juvenil coral;

Day and night
Night and day
Keep on going
It's just been two days

Count in weeks.
Why not months ?
Because it's been long....
Since we last talked
This is me trying to count, for how long we are continuously not talking
rotten teeth speak forgotten truth,
back when the days of sin were sung by shadowed youth,
through the dark sparks ingenious risks,
Cyanide apple seeds swallowed by society’s rejects,
no one is sour-not even the insects dare to be bitter,
Year 1981 was the time to be alive / never have I ever wanted to relive those memories as much as I do now...
a poem about L S D
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!
Traveler Tim

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again

Alex Scaife
You smiled so sweetly
And for a moment
I forgot how mad I was at you
Humaira lodhi
She has a vintage soul,
Full of rusty and dusty memories,
With the antique eyes
That seen some terrible events,
Her beauty reflects
the Victorian epoch,
Her wisdom is such sterling that
Vanquish the wisdom of Socrates,
But the fate and destiny
Leads her in the 21st century,
She feels like an alien
Who lives in a stranger place
But for her comfort in this world,
She has her books and a coffee mug.

Goodbye to the tears rolling down my cheeks
Goodbye to the bleeding through my sheets
Goodbye to fighting a battle I'll never win.
Goodbye to a world full of sin.
Goodbye to a hopeless night.
Goodbye...I lost my fight.
Yeah idk This just kind of came out of my brain. I hope you guys like it!

The voices churning
Deep head
Are actually words
Waiting to
Get out
And recite
A poem
Highlight my bruises.
Illuminate Hidden confessions;

Like petals;
I roam from wonder to another
Yet Swiftly
I vanish.
Boundaries broke the storm
Before it rose

So the glow settled

The beautiful put to bed
And wonder died while
It slept

You are nothing but a pretty face---

and for all the words birthed from your soft,
unkissed sunkissed lips---

or the ones written down with your tiny,
\\ slanted //

they are nothing but empty,

meaningless lies.
Her handwriting looks rather similar to my ex's handwriting. Only difference is; one was longer and sincere, while the other wasn't. Which one is which? Pick your guess.
a sharp, strong flavor

fish takes line hard, bite
in the back sat a guy with long hair,
and if you look at him he'd glare.
but if you sit down,
and upend his frown,
you'll find he's not much of a scare.
I send this with love but know that
I am no longer in love with you.
The most dangerous
disaster in human
life was trying to
get up a ladder

Life is like a rose.
It grows beautiful in spite of having thorns.
I'm back after months of depression. I'm not fully healed but I'm really thankful that every little words from different writers in this community had helped me pull through and still helping me find the peace that my mind needed. I'm not sure if I can post everyday like I usually do before but I'll make sure to at least update you every week with a new piece that I worked in cathartic experience.

Ok, it’s 2 AM and
I am sitting in a
dim-light room
staring at a computer
writing prose
about living life.

What a contradiction!

I tried to see

Beyond the reverie

Eyes could feel

But I could not heal

The weight of the world

Twisted steel
i love you,
and to prove it,
i need to end myself?
it's not  that I'm scared,
but i would die,
not knowing,
if you smiled,
when you knew,
i loved you more than myself
a lot of people **** themselves to show someone how they love them, but if you did you will never be able to know if your love for them, made them smile
My beautiful sunflower,
of warm, yellow joy -
infectious - as sunshine
beams across our faces.

An abundance of petals,
golden in the light.
Growing toward the sun,
striving for perfection.

Our beautiful sunflower,
nurtured and thriving,
growing through my heart, warm
with happiness and love.
happiness of being in love? feels gross to read it now haha
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that

She loved my poem

                                              Happy man
                                        Doubt fading away
Bring thy heart from the pocket
                                       Be fearful of the light
No let it free to seek the light
Fleeting moment has come back to me
Heart in my pocket come to the day
                           Come seek this beautiful delight
incapable of really
loving someone
to the very end,
if the goddess of love
can't find any
how can I
expect to find love
of my own
Commuter Poet
‘I’m almost back to normal’
I told a friend today
He said …’if you’re almost normal
don’t go all the way…

…Stay a bit abnormal
It’ll be a clever touch
Normal and abnormal...
We’ll love you just as much!’

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Time flies by so fast then its past

Remember special moments always last

So make some memories to treasure

Each day have and give some pleasure

So when second chances do come by

To love again say yes reach for the sky

Because I love the moments in time

When you're with me and you are mine

Cherish and relish everyday while you can

Precious are the moments when love is the plan
make every moment count
you never asked to read my poetry
maybe that was the sign.
i told you i wrote for fun,
you shrugged and moved on.
red flags went up everywhere, but i didn’t bother looking
