Would this puzzle be
Easier to solve
If the pieces were
Crystal clear?
Schrodinger and I are good friends
We have tea
Quite frequently
Star Stuff
It's a full moon in the sky.
I can feel a gentle breeze.
I feel like my mind is high,
In the clouds ready to freeze.

The skeptical feelings inside me
Up and down through my blood.
I search for escapades if any,
Out of all this confusing flood.

Silence can sometimes be a sad violence!
And yet sometimes it's nothing but a deep silence.
I ask myself, "Does this all make sense?"
Finding the answer, I end up in trance.
You know
I don’t know
if I’m just tired
of it all
or getting old
or both
my ribs feel
like a prison
for these feelings
I’m feeling
and sleep
is a hangman
who ties
a black cloth
over my eyes
so quiet and soft
like around about
Jealousy should not be mistaken
As wanting attention
A pure loving heart
Would never
Make jealousy
A reason
To break ties
sad like her cheeks when she forces a smile
dry like her lips when she kisses my cheeks
lost like her expressions when she stares into the darkness
Quivering like her voice when she lies that she's okay
Deaf like her ears when she slips  back into her void
tired as her eyes when she hasn't slept all night
Yellow as the pills she places on her tongue
And red as the wine she gulps them down with

If you ever wonder what depression looks like
It looks like my mother's face
Longer sleepless evenings
Humid, dark, and bleak
Serene and sorrowful homes
Blossoming sakura trees weep
With heavyhearted lonely buds
Spring, unforgettable saddest spring
Trees not lovelier and so are fields
Nor the day more delightful than the evening
These unhappy blooms in pink
Signal a different kind of grief
Sakura  (cherry blossoms) are constantly cited as the most recognizable sign of spring in Japan. When trees all over the country burst into breathtakingly beautiful clusters of pink flowers right about the time it gets warm enough, people  yearly go outside to enjoy. Blooming of the sakura is a beautiful  gift from mother nature, hanami (sakura viewing) is done by many people in spring.  But due to COVID-19 pandemic, parks right now are being closed to avoid more transmission of SARSCoV2.
What is faith
but an empty promise
to a God
that abandoned us
years ago
Lord forgive me for this one, but it was a thought begging to be written.
Callum Wood
Putting pixel to page,
he types.

Fingers flurry away,
he swipes.

Showing symptoms of age
he writes.

Hello, I'm (maybe) back. Easing back into writing.
Regan Wylde
I’m so tired, exhausted in fact.
Tired of waiting.
Tired of feeling.
Tired of believing.

I wish I could sleep through it all.
Dream through the hurt.
Dream through the time.
Dream through the numbness.

But I can’t sleep.
Even if I could, I’d still be tired of living.
Just a quick message, I’m unsure to who is disliking all the comments of this poem but I can assure you I like every comment, thank you all for such kind words and constructive criticism. #ignorethehate ❤️
Missing your visage;
A dark night
Provides no bloom
For a rosey view.

Can you evoke it?
Ammar Younas
Night sits on my chest
Squeezes poems out of me
And grinds my poor soul
Noting changes.
Nothing grows.

Empty highs.
Empty lows.

I can't feel the warm,
And I can't feel the cold.

You try to make me happy,
And I try just for you.
But other than our trying,
Nothing else is new.

I worry I'll upset you,
If I can't make a change.
It's not fair of me,
To make you stay the same.
Don't let me drag you down with me.

Years ago
We stayed up till
3 am talking,
And today
I don’t even know
How to say hi,
Rupert Pippingford
Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.
It was not my intention to let you become important to me. If I was paying attention you would be dust in the wind, but you caught me unaware and now I want you to stay
posing half naked for a follow or a mention
counting new friends, but little friendship retention
people pleasing on your knees and  begging for attention
in my bikini, like me please, fix my internal tension

looking to the world for your own inspiration
looking for a like to fuel self-validation
sing to the tune of other people's views and call it self-expression
you dont know you, yet claim to speak your truth, its desperation.
A poem about the dangers of social media, but more so the danger of seeking external validation.
it was in simpler times,
we now realize,
privileges leave behind,
the fondest memories,
of unspecial happenings.
now treasured
as jewels of youth.
wash your hands.
Even the stars
are quiet, it’s like
there’s no life
at the end of their shine
only this cold distant
indifference to the dying
light around them.
I never thought I'd matter
To anyone

Until you
Came along

And changed my perspective
Of the universe

You made me feel
Like I matter

And I'm grateful
For you.
Felicity Paris
I will say
I do not love you
until my mouth forgets your taste

I will write
I do not love you
until my fingers forget
how your hands feel, wrapped in mine
and my poems no longer
reek of sadness and desperation

I will believe
I do not love you
until it becomes impossible
or until I begin
to love someone new
Cry for me
I die slowly
Every day I am rejected
Each moment neglected
And each time it comes to mind
It is as though I can’t find
Any motivation
Wellcome to depression station
Monsters don’t exist
Still, we are very afraid
Because we made them
Monsters. A concept so often used to represent anything dislikable to society, which we are afraid of. Yet literal monsters don’t exist.
Your words keeping love kindled
Fueled to burn days we are parted

Your love so resolute in its resolve
Make heart strengthen and evolve
2020 lock down and travel restriction due to COVID-19 pandemic

And don't wonder
With every new wrinkle
A change awaits

And the stars

Theme: True Value Of Life
So I guess,
I'll never see you anymore.
People always have to leave,
which I don't understand the reason for.
Teardrops fall and evaporate,
before they even hit the floor.
And for some reason,
the light outside,
shines more bright,
then ever before.

i keep waking up
with you on my lips
but it's only your name
and not your kiss
screaming your name at night in my sleep
David Lessard
I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)
its a lonely day as I walk around the lake
some passerby's
no place to hide

its raining now, but only a mist
speckles of droplets land with a kiss
the sun's not shining, the clouds mourn
leaves wisp away, trees take on a new form
of dancing men that reach for the sky
their helpless goal, to the ground they are tied
If you told me your secrets would that be enough?
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
The best science is like a story
The best stories are like a science

This was what I was thinking about today.
But I’m not sure if it's true.

I needed to write it down to test it.

Like science.

Or like a story.
When butterflies fall in love, do they feel humans in their stomach?

Can I give a girl anything
Except what she wants
I didn’t see what’s coming
because my eyes were close.
I didn’t hear what you’re saying
because my ears weren’t listening.
I’m processing at the moment. :)
to me,
you are
an art

                              to you,
                              I was
                              a tragedy
you still remain, and will always be
a fine piece of art
to me.
// edit: thank you for having this in the daily. ♡
i'm tracing my history and i realize that it all adds up

always being told that i'm crazy but
they never had all the pieces to the puzzle and
i didn't know that i did either but
i found some lying in the back room and
i put it together so that the puzzle was complete and
it all makes sense

i'm tracing my history and i realize that it all adds up
my mom always told me:
"tootey logon ki tooti kahaaniyaan"
which translates to
"broken people's broken stories"
and today i realize
where my cracks were

it is good to know
even if they can't be fixed
or healed or
filled with gold
at least i know
when i will flinch
where the cuts are open
where the pieces are
so sharp that they will
draw blood
upon a single touch
Play her
They said
It’ll be fun
They said

Now they are dead
And you’ll live with the pain
