You gave me hope
In a time where I did not want it
Where I refused its glimmer
And was sealing my fate
With the kiss of Death..
All from a poem
You wrote
That
Probably
wasn't meant for me.

i ran to you
the way rivers run to the sea,
a steady rushing flow
toward the delta we created—
the world where my white rapids
danced into your carolina blue,
pouring my entire existence
into a body that didn’t need me

and the hardest thing i’ve ever done
is rewrite gravity
to change the course of my heart

a hard
but necessary
delta
the sea will survive with one less river...
but i won’t.
i need my love a lot more than you do

Where do broken hearts go to heal
Where do forgotten souls to feel?
Who mans the gates of the northern wall?
Is it a snow?
Or is it the one with the unwritten scroll?

My ancestors are dead. They remain as ancestral specimens interred far & wide. There are no viable ancestral human relics to confirm Darwin's contention that there has been an excruciatingly-slow simian-to-human transmogrification of our species. So far, the Western world's producers (tax-payers) have spent countless billions of dollars promulgating a pro-eugenics' "science" with 4-color illustrations & plaster-of-Paris models of pan-headed, proto-human freaks. The ultimate goal of evolutionism is to destroy traditional Western Civilization.

i bask in the
sunlight,
i feel the warm
earth between
my fingers,
my eyes close
and I drift into
a light slumber.
when i awake
it is dawn,
a new day begins,
but
why are my hands
so old and wrinkled?
I havent been able to write because of school and hello poetry hasn't been working :(

It's not insomnia but I skip sleep on regular nights.
I hear voices in the soulless nights…

Aren't you lonely?
Aren't you worthless?
Aren't you depressed?

I feel inferior.
I feel lonely.
I feel needy

But why do I always look happy but not feel it?
It’s empty in me, but why does it feel so heavy?
Sometimes I just hate my own presence...

I dreamt of you last night
I still remember everything so vividly

when I saw you I knew that I was dreaming
because of the way you looked at me
we didn't have to exchange words
we both knew it wasn't real
we had to enjoy whatever time we had left together
because I would soon wake up
and we'd be back to never speaking again
we'd be back to you hating me
we'd be back to me hating me

I'd call it a dream but then I'd have to admit to myself that I wanted to dream of you

the trees are reaching
clawing for you
ready to embrace
trees whisper their welcome
trees whisper your worth
they can’t wait until you’re theirs
in their clutching arms
the waiting is killing them
burning their very soul
ebbing at their patience
taking its deadly toll
you know you want to come
to this quiet place
where dreams run wild
possibilities are pondered
and tomorrow seems way off yonder
so come
they’re waiting for you

i’d like to believe that when i’m sitting outside
looking up at the moon and the countless stars
listening to the symphonies of insects
that wherever you are
you’re watching the moon too
and in that moment
i feel a little less far away from you

I wish you would understand me
You say you do
but you don’t
I wish I could say no to you
You say I can
but I can’t
I wish you would just let me be
You say you will
but you won’t
I wish I wasn’t so lonely
But why am I
when I’m with you

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep
Doesn’t mean that it’s thoughtful

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.
Five little ten worders to ponder.

My words were wasted
they collect,
then they spill.
A sliced artery.
Words flood away from the cluttered blue in my veins,
leaving them empty.
I spill more; the metal aroma pools inside my mouth,
no words,
choke and spit on the blood.
Breath escaping deflated lungs,
making me shrink into a brittle relapse.

Because
She was a lightning

Bright and shining up in the clouds

Her hair were black like the rain clouds

bouncing as she moved around

clear were her eyes like the droplet falling from the sky

her anklets making the sound

as if rains drops are hitting the ground

Now I am writing with a mood as colorful as a rainbow

About a girl I once saw

That's why Monsoon is my favorite season.

He said he knew me...
For who I was.
Said he saw me....
As I was.
Loved me to the core...
For what I was.

Perfection.... he said I defined.
Projection....but his heart was mine.
Respect and adoration ...
Made his eyes shine.

His words ....left a greater meaning.
His eyes....told me from the beginning.
His smile...finally reached his eyes.
The fight....at last he did decide.

The faith in me...
...more about the faith in him.
The love for me...
     ...more the love for him.
Be the person to never quit
Just give it your all
Always have a can-do attitude
Learn to stand up tall
As you climb that ladder
Visualize doing your best
Maintain a positive demeanor
And be a cut above the rest

The older we are
The more invisible by far
We seem to the younger mind
But soon they will see
What's known by you and me
We're only immortal for a limited time

These words are for me,
For I'm the one who's hurting,
I'm just healing myself.
I often wonder why we can't understand other's poems sometimes, but deep down it is the one who writes it knows the value of it.

Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Explanation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

today,
I wore it again
and people complimented me
they say red is my color
and it suits me.

today,
it's too thick and dark
did I overapply
no, it's the right amount
just enough
to make them think
I'm fine.

today,
I look at myself
in the mirror,
and they're right
red shines on me,
so I applied
another layer,
and another
until my lips felt too thick,
but my eyes still see
the scars beneath it.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

When the sun finally rays,
And the untiring spirit prevails,
When the dark clouds clear,
And the fear of loss no more near,
Then I shall open my heart to you

There will be elation,
For you are my motivation
I shall overcome my love,
Against all odds, I vow.
Listen to the birds humming!
The spring, it’s soon coming

When the sun finally shines
And the lovely spring reigns
When the birds of love croon
I shall tell this a million times
I love you, as the earth to the moon.

"love me"
it came as the smallest of whispers.
a swell in tempo, a rise in rhythm.
the words swirl around me like a thousand orbiting galaxies,
Dipped in a golden light that had followed me from the heavens,
They wrap around you, hug your sides, caress your soft lips.
These words are yours, but over time, they faded,
and they've become mine.

Mind wanders in the dark
Hounds of hell lonely bark
My inner spirit in disguise
Warden of myself closed his eyes

The wounds are getting deeper
The drive has gone away
Nothing really ment to stay
