A funny thing about forever..
--it never, ever ends..

and so   neither will we.

The spirit is free from
all of this-- it will  always
remain lit..

only the flesh goes dark
as we  leave  its earth-laden husk, behind..

But the core-heart of Love's true ache  will always,
always Remain.

In the calling out to one another
of the lovers up and down the strand
In the sound of the waves and the cries
of the seagulls circling the sand
In the fragments of the songs
carried down the wind from some radio
In the murmuring of the city in the distance
ominous and low..

I hear the sound of the world  where we played
And the far too simple beauty of the promises we made

If you ever need holding
call my name, and I'll be there
If you ever need holding
and no holding back,  I'll see you through-

Sky, blue and black

I know
You care about me
10 more people do
Yet I can't get rid
Of this feeling
Of doom

I know
I have you
10 more people too
Yet I can't find a person
To talk to
late at night

Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

and i write,
like a madman grasping for scraps
of sanity

and i write,
because i'm not okay,
and i might never be

and i write,
as my tears well up,
held back by ignorance and pride

and i write,
when this absurdity overwhelms me,
and panic takes hold of me

and i write,
so i can explore always,
for where can you go when it's all in your head?

and i write...
so i write.

A long inhale, and nicotine
brings me the numb that I
so desperately need.

Sometimes, I have to
feel my own heartbeat, just to
remind myself that I am alive.

I often have to think about breathing
so that I remember to
keep myself going.

If not for me, the most
definitely for him.

Even though I am a vile creature
full of hatred and self loathing
I could never bring myself to hurt you.
He
Broke my wings
So I couldn’t

Fly

So I stole his soul
So he couldn’t

Die

My river
Cares not
For me-

Carries
Slurry or
Salmon

Indifferently
It matters not where
your bones lay
or your dust settles

Fond memories of
happy times and
neighbourly deeds

Judge your time and
the value of your life

I put our song on play

as I build up the courage to open the drawer,
a drawer full of memories...
our memories.

I watch you sleep,
as the sun wakes up.
You slumber,
as songbirds,
chirp themselves,
awake.
Is it odd,
if I count,
the eyelashes,
that fall on your cheek?
Wishful thinking,
for time to pause,
even just for a moment.
Love,
Me.
This is the second poem of the letter project. I hope it reaches you.

Socrates said it right,
"True knowledge exists in knowing
that you know nothing."
You are not that great...humble down.
We are a tiny part of this nature...
So let your roots be grounded
But grow tall and high...reaching the sky.
Just like a tree...which humbles down
as more and more fruits grow on it.
Remember being humble is not your weakness
As being humble means
you know where your inner strength lies.
So be courageous and lead a beautiful life.
You are strong.
You are different.
Keep your self esteem high...buddy!
And do not change it to arrogance.
Because...it's rare to find a humble person.
So let's be rare😊
Being arrogant won't help...so let's just try being humble.

the pain you try to cover up deep inside your heart,
the abuse that you endured just ripped your world apart.
the anger that you cannot shake how ever hard you try.
Day by day it eats at you but doesn't tell you why.
Everyday you mask your hurt afraid that someone just might see,
I'm here to tell you Jesus does and longs to set you free.
What ever it was that happened
you are not to blame, the source of your unhappiness , your ill
unwanted shame.
gently kneel and bow your head , open up your heart.
you don't have to change a thing
Jesus loves you just the way that you are.
if you are hurting , depressed alone . this poem is for you

If I were a color
I think I'd be baby blue
a clear sky just after dawn
soft
delicate
that perfect reflection in almond eyes
open doors
new opportunities
I guess you could say it almost feels like

home.
A friend of mine told me
I write when I’m sad
She said it is as if I am in pain
And I said when I write it rains
When I put the pen on paper the clouds get dark
And when I stop
The birds of the sky sings
Coming out to play as the sun is out

I watched the moon,
last night,
it danced through,
the tree limbs,
onto my,
bare skin.
I pondered,
if maybe,
you too held,
ballets,
across your chest.

No better coach than sorrow.
As long as you make it through

Red were the roses, the ones I left on your casket,
Orange were the leaves, the ones in your tree,
Yellow were the bruises, the ones that covered you head-to-toe,
Green were the stains, the ones left on the hems of your jeans,
Blue were your lips, the day you were found in your noose,
Indigo was the night sky, that night that you died,
Violet was that bruise, the one you wore around your neck
by Alice Thyne, but i can relate so much

your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about
you;

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
If according to Physics,
empty space isn't empty,
my friend,
you're not empty.
If you feel empty,
remember that feelings
aren't true thermometer of reality.
Wake up!
What you need is discovery
of what you've got
and what you've got not,
but,
you're not empty.

There's no enough time,
For us to keep this,
If your heart beats for me,
Like my heart beats for you,
We only had once chance,
For us to fix it,

There's no revival,
For us to keep this buried,
If you seek forgiveness,
Then i have forgiven you,
We only lived a half life,
So let me be with you.

Even If i tied
The strongest chains
To everyone I have ever loved
Everyone who I have let in and told them "you belong here"
Eventually the chains would break
And I would lose them
We aren't meant to be kept
We are meant to love, and be loved
And then, vanish.

(About love)
I’ve known great love
It shines like a jewel in low light
Prismatic and commanding
In the darkest of nights
It exhales visual breaths which somehow cure every moment of pain before it
It’s warmth is akin to the strongest bourbon
Seamlessly caressing your spirit with an intangible optimism
Having it once
Makes a life worth living
I’m just another person writing about it
Watching the winter commence
Recalling the Spring

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.

sometimes you just
gotta sit down and write
just grab the apple
and take a bite
just take a leap
into the dark night

if you want to be a poet
you gotta write poems
let the words go
wherever the wind blows em

sometimes your lines will ****
other times blow you away
but stay firm on that writing path
don't be led astray
by laziness and perfectionism
saying you can't do it
don't give in, knock em down
push yourself right through it

let the poem be what it is
let its rhymes ring true
knowing as much
as you're writing the poem
it's also writing you
success comes
through failure
improvement comes
through the grind
go ahead
write bad poems
they'll make you better
in due time

Is a poet still a poet
If they do not write?

A journal gathering dust,
But a yearning to write.
Am I still a poet
Without my inner light?
I'm sorry I haven't written a while! Love you all

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.
