the way of Nature

Do you not look at the moon
and love it for the way it reflects the sun
and think it beautiful regardless of the craters and scars

The night is not seen in darkness
but in the moonlight
I was reading The Dark Below and read a really sweet line about loving someone even with their disfigurement so I wrote this.

Ok it burned
on a seven or so million dollar renovation
but since the press and high demands
they reached out, to every single nation

The Government owns the place
so no wonder it burnt down
but now the coffers overflow
a billion or so came round

It just makes me wonder
conspiracies that might be
arson in cathedrals old
so much more money
see
Yeah, it's the conspiracy theorist in me that sprinkles a little salt on the goody two shoes feeling of everybody coming together to make the french government rich, after all seven million turned into one billion, looks like a **** of an investment to me :/

I find myself falling.

I am unsure as to why.
I am unsure as to how.

But what I am,
it leaves me.

It floats away.
It drifts.

I watch it go,
with a lightness,
I have only ever dreamed of.

TODAY I dipped my mind in a fairytale.
It gave me grand visions.
A landscape of dancing letters
that spiraled into verse.

A place where little beings gathered
to urge me on as I flew
with wings inside poetic song.

I dipped my mind in a fairytale
and flew through rainbow light
to land in my heart.
The place I plan to stay.
SAW THE WORD FAIRYTALE ON CJ'S PAGE. IT INSPIRED ME. THANKS CJ

If love wasn’t so romanticized,
would it still be the same?
would it give me butterflies when i see you?
would it still make my heart flutter when you smile?
would it be purer, sweeter, less pressured to exist?
or would it exist all the same,
like it always has?
idk i was thinking about how love is portrayed by the media

hey you
we haven't really talked
in a while
which is funny because
i've memorized every inch of your profile
the softness of your deep eyes
that you hate so much
that i sometimes hate too
lately i just feel so far away from you
pull and tug
tug and pull
why won't you just let me
make your heart full?

on and off as we are, you're the only one i'll ever want. ****** loyal for you bby.

Reminiscing
     On the Past
     In the Present.
Memories that bond.
Laughter over the mistakes, irresponsible decisions.
Family uniting
Friends discovering
About the past that influenced the present.
     And is shaping the future.
Never forget
To remember the sadness, the grief, the trials, even trauma.
ALL of your story is significant.
Remember your roots.
Take them with you wherever you go.
Share your story.

Your eyelids flutter
When you dream
Buried beneath the surface lies
A crown of green
In a sea of blue

You kiss me slowly
And my heart beats fast
When our eyes lock
The world is nonexistent

It is just you and I
Against the world
How I would describe your eyes

Your soul is the moon after dawn
A vapour who sings of love as well as pain
A delicate blossom that twirls with zephyrs
Fragrant and enriched by the snow's kiss
The geese have fled from iced lakes
long preserved with whispers of old
In the shade of bamboo, my flute is heard,
carried to you by the frost-kissed air
Your soul, a vapour, the moon after dawn
Hear my hymn of peace,
till winters turn to fawn

My head's still in the clouds! ^-^
I'm trying SO HARD not to freak out about my media course interview...

Many faults they make
Young lovers, trying a place to Stake
Night fades,the moon is out
Shinning blue colour, shinning up there.

The door is locked behind him
He places his lips on mine with intensity
What I call sheer hypocrisy
Loving without, wicked at heart

Your smiles and laughter I miss
In my head, your voice ringing
The scourging pain I feel
This heart break, really HEART BREAKING.
Poem about a lady who loves a guy with all she has, but does not get that amount of love back in return, due to the fact that the guy cheats on her, so she breaks up with him and hate him and herself for that decision.
Always be the sun

Bring yourself back to life

Strength is in you
Guide yourself respectfully
Be willing and able
Stay determined accordingly

When I asked you what your name was
You replied and said, “It’s Love”
Then I asked you what your song is
You then sang the song of a dove
Please chirp to me your fancy
Make me rock to your lullaby
Flap with wings that dance free
So we can sing that Love does fly.

My love, right, is a ray of sunshine and a vivid dream;
a mystery and a maze.
A deep blue sea. A valley with a river.
It is fear that is gone in the muscles that trap my body.
I am free.
Emotions go running free.

My love, right,
knows I am not perfect.
I am the artist and not the work of art,
unless I am an unfinished, malleable sculpture
that regenerates its' tough exterior
to create new face.

I feel like that garbage that hangs on the branches of trees;
Living is a thankless job and owes you nothing.
Constantly taking away what it gave you.
Accomplishments don't have to be celebrated
and plans don't have to be kept
by loves wrong or right.

My love right trains itself,
to not say things that never want to be heard.
My love fails,
and will repeat every word.

I wish I were made of stone
So your words would never hurt me
I wish I were cold as ice
Then maybe I wouldn't be lonely

I wish I were made of steel
So my strength would never waver
If only I could turn back the clock
To a time when I felt safer

But I'm only flesh and bone
And your words have left me bleeding
My heart is torn apart
It's a wonder it's still beating

You made up your mind
Given me your final answer
What we shared is in the past
Time to write a brand new chapter

I will fix my broken heart
Some how glue it back together
It may never be the same
It'll bare this scar forever

But I'll be strong, I'll be alright
Though I'm not as hard as steel
And I can't turn back the clock
In time....my heart will heal

//when we enter this inexplicable world, we crave a love so deep for our mothers

//soon we get hypnotized into a fake world of crushes and kisses and kind-hearted boys with smiles

//some of us escape and walk into the real love, the kind that bonds you two together when gravity pulls you apart. where a kiss is stronger than steel where we look at each other every day and almost cry because we have fires in our hears that can't be put out.

i hope when i am older i go to that one

I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

Bus Poet Stop
~for those who will read this and weep~

the quiet ones,
the silent Job ones,
who quote not from the
Book of Lamentations,
but author their own,
based on-the-Job experience

localized versions of cryptic elegiacs
accepting the wooden crosses borne,
stepping up to the
unrequested unforeseen,
then buried under, burnt alive,
yet never relieved by dying,
nailed by words, stronger than iron,
promises sworn, promises kept
with no ending date relief,
promises by and to themselves,
but not for themselves!

the wearers of crystal glass shackles,
adorned with decorative locks for which
no key did the maker make,
nor any divine creator
dare conceive an early release,
never no escape contemplated,
for the lock human, unrepentant unbreakable,
a decorative useless metaphor gesture,
a blunt “life *****” advertisement

I compose amidst a
bus pond of mismatched city folk,
a tapestry of ages colors and differing views on god/no god,
none would believe that as the bus sways me,
it’s in rhythm to holy choral music,
hundreds year old,
divinity masses and motets worships,
where one human can hide temporarily
a safe house,
to calm his questioning relentless
from the horrors of no answers,
for when the mind has no solution
to the rough and tumbling lives,
lived in glass shackled confinement,
the poets desperation equals theirs

summon eagles to transport these imprisoned,
but the shackled refuse,
I come to them but they wave me off,
I go crazy for once I was enslaved,
thirty years war that left devastation,
from which so many poems created

so I speak with heightened regard
of one who planned futures for others where his
non-existence was a founding father (ha!)

but the day came and
I was released by my own inactions,
but means nothing until a way to
away found
to release the yet bound early

got a couch, airline miles, hundred dollars
in my pocket and an unrelenting need
to save them, a consumption disease,
the glass shackled, at ease,
won’t rest till all are freed
this my creed
no one left behind

these cyber words do not mock
for they are unbounded, set free,
when
the flesh connects and the needs of the flesh
are stronger for they are in heart conceived

In the middle of Easter,
As I watch from the window
Snow flakes pouring heavenly.

      In the middle of Easter,
As something strikes into my mind,
The snow falling, is the resemblance of falling in love...

     In the middle of Easter,
As I keep staring at
The snow melting on the ground.

     In the middle of Easter,
As I come to a realization
That if you fall in love, it will brake and melt.

So I say, “Never fall in love, but LOVE. Never love just anytime, but love when you know the time.”
