All this emotion crashing down like waves
I feel all warm like a nice summers day
I cant keep lying to myself on my feeling for you
Every time im with you they burn bright blue
I dont understand why you just dont leave him
Then again you just like the attention that im given and im always caving in.

Dear friends,
Now I must ask a favor.
A poetry contest is under way,
$100 dollars worth of books at stake,
The entry?
A poem about that for which I am grateful.
This means a lot,

I am your journal, I am your razor blade, I am your pillow to scream in, I am your father and your mother, I am the blood you hear beating in your ears on quiet nights, I am your guide and your confidante and your consort, I am the one who takes the weight of the world from you, I am anything you need. Wear me like a warm coat, I am yours if you say yes; yours until you discard me, then I belong to the next. I can fix everything, I can be every drug, I can do it all say yes, say yes yes! my love say yes, yours, yours till I’m not yours yours yours

I found your earrings on my window sill
I’m not sure how long they’ve been there or
If you know they’re missing
I’m too scared to move them
So I just pretend not to see

She found your earrings on my window sill
I didn’t know what to say
It’s been months and I can’t even utter your name
Still you lie on the window sill

Winter came and found your earrings by the window
Cold and harsh
That’s what I loved about you
I wonder what you loved about me
Did you love these earrings?
Do you think of them
Do you think of me?

If I could steal your love for myself
I would just keep it on a shelf
so I could look at it every day
and know that it hadn't faded away

If I could catch a glimpse of you
I don't know what I'd say to do
for when the night is cold and dark
your eyes light within me, a spark.

I'm so sorry that I never said
to those eyes that I wished to be dead
But now everything is so crystal clear
it's too late now to shed a tear

I've lost you to bittersweet pain
it's like I'm dancing in the rain
my favorite weather, my only tune
what's left of my heart, has fallen to ruin.

You've left me here, in this dark place
suffocated by your face
I'm sinking so low, amidst an ocean of black
and I don't know if I'm coming back

So please, hear me scream
please, know my dream
has never involved you
I was to blind to see what I needed to do.

I'm gone now, so don't be afraid
My suffering has been repaid
I didn't mean to leave you in the cold
but this emptiness was where my soul was sold.

Looking through the murky water through mask-like eyes full of soul.
Darkness and mystery devoid of life replete with plastiky detritus.
My limbs askew foiled with the weight of water pinning me in place.
A narcotic to soothe the way. I will be hidden treasure under the sea.

Or looking up at the wondrous day that is clear and bright, with a golden sun.
Limbs as light as feathers feel of cool ocean breezes and expectations of joy.
My mind melts just enough to give me that unknown but dazzling feeling of peace.
I have time. I can float on my back until it is my time to turn over forever.

A bottle full of sweet scent
loved by women and gent.
As you press it to disperse,
Made all bees sing a verse.
For flowers pollen just burst,
flying fast to be first.

A few drops or a high dose,
Will draw attention close.
A succulent buds of spring,
Humming birds starts to sing.
Fill the thirst is one’s desire,
Debar all natures dire.

“goodbye”
the words crawl from your mouth.
they sound like their on their knees,
begging to be let go.
you tell me there isn’t a point anymore,
but i cover my ears
and claim i’m not listening.
the pills you swallowed,
the calls you never answered,
“goodbye.”
i answer no,
but goodbye isn’t a question.

youre always wearing that oufit
the one i always loved
the maroon knitted sweater
worn
soft

the color maroon makes me feel sick now

i listen to that fateful voice recording on repeat
because its the last time i heard your voice
speaking to me as a friend
but now all i hear is contempt and fiery anger
and the back of my neck is scarred
from your searing glare

i wonder how we got to this point

Will you remember my name?
After a few years
When my voice will be a murmur
And my laugh a sad whisper

Will you remember my name?
When everything will be in slow motion
Collecting dust and desperation

Will you remember my name?
During the day or the night
When you'll feel lonely
Will you look for me?

Will you remember my name?
My face or my figure?
Anything, it doesn't matter
As long as you say my name
Over and over.

Many times,
You have said vociferously;

......for all success
and in all failure,
faith is the key.

And many times,
I have tried to reason
against the equation
of ritual and religion.

But,
in the fashion world
of materialist-spiritualism,
where majority conforms to modern tradition,
I have often found it convenient
to ignore the dictates of reason
and still more convenient
to believe in the corollary;

......faith is the key.

Therefore,
I have mostly believed,
......in your faith
and in your prayers
......for me.
Inspired by: The subconscious mind which secretly prefers prayer over logic.
