To think artists live what they say
Is as foolish as child's play
Or make believe.
"Eilish and Finneas "like to completely make up things and become characters" and "have songs that are really fictional".[54] Eilish said a number of the songs also derive from her and Finneas' experiences."

One day the moon will stop.
    Settling it's last motion unto eternal stilnes;
And the ground will quake, craters will rattle

And we'll lift like lanterns, light as matches
As we rise to the final night sky.
Joining the ranks of stars forever stillborn.

The oceans will quiver along one last circlet
In ode to their past life and the lives they lived through,
And we will look down at our old skin...

         Never feeling ready enough to properly reincarnate;

If you can still feel it-
The warm wind that rushed into our lungs,
while we drove straight into an inevitable
iron judge-
Please let me know.

Because your deadly silence
pulls the green, rancid thoughts out of my mind-
Prioritizing comeback-arguments and
glass-shattering-jealously
over our lost harmonies and simplicities.

To open my eyes,
To remove the black and white filters of staged Polaroids,
To realize the naïveté of dying campfires,
And to strip the layers of paint from our canvas,
Calls for forgiveness.
Forgiving you.
Forgiving me.

It calls for change and allowing the dams I’ve
artificially placed immeasurable love into,
to wither,
So the natural rivers can flow.
To allow the ecosystem to thrive.

To move on-
I put on my old sweater.
It smells of loneliness, heavy browns, and protection-
A wall to my heart.

Please forget the combination to the lock on my dreams,
If you can hear my silent tears.
I beg of you in the key of F major.
I miss you L.L.

Psychotic Poetess
He says "Can we meet?"
And the drums of doom
the possibility of sweet sin
blur my eyes, make me dream in the daylight
But what about that?
I've been feeling wrong
so he turns up at the gates of my world

A certain drum roll inside of me
A song I know from years ago
I am not supposed to dance to it
I don't even like the beat no more
But God I am stuck
And I fantasize about his lips on mine
now it's drought time
about he would tell me
Dear I always loved you
I cannot keep to myself
all the things you make me feel
both heart and body

It's a male siren's song
It's my personal devil's call
But I light up and I fall
I'd better simply ******* to his thought
But it simply pops and stings with no content
yet he poisons my heart
Yet it is not their fault
I threaten to go dry again
But I will flood the doors open

He stirs the poetry in me
does he distill?
I got rid of him
but he is a cotton cloud, is he the Sun?
I claimed he was one

He was everything
now he is just something
and we are moving
towards something, whatever it is
budding

He says "eat me"
like a cupcake for sweet teeth
I don't really want him
I am stuck
I needed poetry
to realize my luck

You are a fantasy
but you are deadly
You are a reflection of me
but the love and the days we shared,
they were ******* real

One that I yearn for.

It's true-blue but it can hurt.

Because the earth’s round
Doesn’t mean it’s  having a ball.

Because waves crash
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t in control.

Because the sea is deep

Because land meets the sea
Doesn’t mean that they agree

Because you float my boat
Doesn’t make me the captain.

The night was made for romance.
In the night our two hearts dance.
Under the stars our lips touch.
In the garden your embrace means so much.

The night was made for love.
Our hearts cooing like a white dove.
Your eyes sparkling like diamonds so white.
I love you darling with all my might.

The night was made for caring and trust.
And darling, God made this night for us.

These words are for me,
For I'm the one who's hurting,
I'm just healing myself.

Your words glide
Over my
Heart like a
Skater skates
On ice lakes.

Slowly you
Wear me down;
Carve your words
Onto my
Heart with blades.

One time you
Will cut through
And fall in
Through the crack
That you made.

You will try
To climb out,
But you are
Stuck in the
Void with me.

Now you'll know
Just the harm
That a few
Words can cause.
Can't you tell?

today,
I wore it again
and people complimented me
they say red is my color
and it suits me.

today,
it's too thick and dark
did I overapply
no, it's the right amount
just enough
to make them think
I'm fine.

today,
I look at myself
in the mirror,
and they're right
red shines on me,
so I applied
another layer,
and another
until my lips felt too thick,
but my eyes still see
the scars beneath it.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

loved and understood for all of the things
in spite of the poison I spewed
venom

ran away from myself, my feelings, my love, my hatred
myself

I hated all the things that came from me

but I loved all the things that ran from me

all the things that swore I was not good enough for, I should be alone

unloved

uncared for

but instead love has lifted me

from my airy grave

and into the open arms

of the most beautiful human on the face of this earth

Don't be like scissors?
Don't cut me like paper into many pieces?
And toss me away.

Don't be like a knife?
Cutting me up like steak.
Least, you not cooking me.

Don't be like hate?
A disease hurting within.
But be like love?
Offering this to everyone.

And simply sit back and watch the joy.

Love me
naked beyond
flesh or bone,

trace your
fairytale dreams
to memory upon
my lips,

runaway your
passion and lust
across my eyes,

and never
let the sun
run to retire.

and deep inside
our eyes
we will define
our destiny,

and we you
will never
let each other go.

and as all
of your love
falls out
of time..

nothing will
be left
but you and I.

so let me
be your
more,

and never
be satisfied
with less.

to be young
to die old
inside  your
angel eyes

and sing.
