what you saw
like it happened to everything

fish that don't drown in the sea
as if everybody knew

Oh god,
I’m done.
I can’t be a fighter nor can I be survivor anymore.
I’m tired.
I can no longer fight my own battles.
I’m surrounded by darkness.
I’m a prisoner of my own demons.
Oh god.
I’m done.
I’m sad

so here Nina is, 1981,
she sings just to know she's alive
and I know where she's coming from;
her range isn't what it used to be
but the crack in her voice,
each phrase off-beat,
its urgency I love so much;
so here Nina is, 1981.

The here and now
A place in time
The world feels so soft
and open

Fulfilling my wish
A three part kiss
where time stands still
and I seize the moment

On the brink of lust
With each healing touch
And suddenly the world
appears less broken

The here and now
A place in time
Our soft worlds collided
and wide open

Time flies by so fast then its past

Remember special moments always last

So make some memories to treasure

Each day have and give some pleasure

So when second chances do come by

To love again say yes reach for the sky

Because I love the moments in time

When you're with me and you are mine

Cherish and relish everyday while you can

Precious are the moments when love is the plan
make every moment count

Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

Vanity but the computer is not correct
455 likes and loves
Beware.
This desire for your eyes
Consumes me each day
I feel lost in my mind and only you
can find me
I look away, I feel afraid
I don't know if you feel the same way
I don't know If I should reach you
I know we don't share the same age
No words have been spoken
Your eyes say it all
Your eyes tell me you want me but I'm not sure
I'll stay with this desire and it will leave it all to fate
This fire that burns for you
I guess you'll never know, cause ill never tell

He couldn't love me because I was empty
So I injected myself with poison
Until I was overflowing

He couldn't love me because I was toxic
So I slashed my skin
Draining the poisonous blood out of my body

He couldn't love me because I was too unstable
So I took all my meds with a bottle of tequila
I felt my life fade away

At my funeral
He finally loved me
Simply because
I was gone
he finally loved me, simply because I was gone

it's a cosmic correction
     to live a little slower-
        be a little closer,
           live where you are,
              take care of your home-
                  and your home's home.

To look into each others' eyes-
no need to fake a smile
           can't see it anyway.
              You can't mask the tears
                      or the smize

what if it's a hyper alteration
                       to change course

has dried up the ocean

so when the pain
seeps in,
I pour the wine
of your thoughts
in my pen
and let the words
(I write to you)
get high
and cry...

We're like dog's in a corner itching to bite , when push come's to shove we are in for a fight . This is the way I feel it need's to be , we have to throw punches if we want to be free . When the fighting is over , it's time for peace , it's the way I prefer to say the least . It's been said love thy neighbor as we want to be loved , my friend's we can do this with help from above . Please know as you read this it's a good way to live , dont be a taker and learn how to give . In all of my years I've come to believe , it's better to give than it is to receive . I'll leave this impression and you can be the judge , how much should we give ? what we have is enough .

perhaps I talk too much to the moon
and don’t listen enough to the universe

for I long for a love
too extraterrestrial
to ever find on this planet

perhaps a poet’s true fate
lies in solitude

for we yearn for connection
too shakespearean
to ever survive this modern day
I turn 21 on Saturday but feel around 70 if i’m honest.

Him
His face
The sight brings a smile to yours
His eyes
You can stare into them forever
His lips
You wish you can kiss them
His hands
You wish you can intertwine them with yours
His mind
It intrigues you
His soul
You can love it for eternity
His heart
It doesn't belong to you

It is said we face
The worst economic decline
In 300 years

So be it

Would we prefer
An economic acceleration?
Has our economic activity created
The world we really desire?

Perhaps we should slow down
And let the environment
Recover?

After all
Economic prosperity
Does not equal happiness

I'll miss you tomorrow.
When you went away ,
I was filled with sorrow.

I miss your smile and your face ,
Long talks at night.

Now nothing seems right.

God needed another angel so you had to go ,
Yet tears still flow today.
I just wanted you to know ,
I love you more than words can say,

what my words

did not
This year, do not explain yourself (especially repeatedly) to someone who does not listen. Let your silence be your response. Let your happiness be your response. Let your peace be your authenticity.

I say:
Do you want me to pretend you do not exist?

She says:
Do as you wish.

I perceive:
All I was once you moved onto the next,
A waste of breath.

What a mutual perception process,

You keep on running and now I have nothing but my beliefs.

And what do you have?
Your cup is empty

It would be full but...
You poke holes in all the words I speak
The art of assuming the worst

You were the reason for my poems
About love and despair
About pain and your curly hair
& the lost love that wasn’t fair
About how much you didn’t care
When I lost my poetry everything be came clear
one things for certain you’re not here
Could it be my writers block is gone
Or have I just found a new song
A new song to sing with someone new
But boy have my problems grew
Added baggage from my past
The anxiety is sure to tell me it won’t last
So I lash out like a whip
Frightened & guarded with a gun on my hip

This phrase is absolutely disgusting
and it is completely crushing.

This phrase is an invasion of privacy
and it constantly gives me anxiety.

This phrase makes me want to throw up
every time you ask a CHILD before they grow up.

This phrase shouldn't exist
don't you understand the pain it inflicts?

Just leave us alone
to live our life.
Let us live outside of the shadows
and put away that knife.

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

If I die tonight
Please don’t pray for me
Hell is full
And Heaven’s gates don’t open free

If I die tonight
Look up to the stars
Peel back the façade
Past the hate in our hearts

If I die tonight
Find peace in my courage
Never backed down
Went out in a flourish

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.
