You’re a safe haven,
blessing me with great vastness,
Unknown Girl
Kayley an angle hidden in plain sight
Kayley so bright and full of joy you can´t help but smile
Kayley bold and beautiful
Kayley you have a gift like no other
Kayley god will be so happy when she brings you home

Individual expression
It’s everywhere
Victor Bilgin
All through the years
I’ve traveled and paid dues
Searching for adventure
That I never found.
Truth be told, I miss it
And you. And the lilies,
The roaring rapids,
And how it felt to be free.
Isn’t it funny,
The happiness we pretend to have
Is the very thing
Holding us back from living.
Oh, not too bad
(I haven't slept)
Y'know, on and off
(I mean this week I haven't wept)
It used to be worse
(I'm not in despair)
I'm holding up
(I won't let myself go there).
Some days are hard
(I feel so drained)
I think everyone's struggling
(I've numbed the pain)
Yeah, I'm okay
(I can't keep pace)
Thanks, I'm alright
(I miss my okay place).
Is is, is it?
Is it not is
or is it?
It is.
It is it.
Or is it is?
Is is.
And is is not.
Is not is.
Is not not is?
Is it?
Oh yes, it is.

Writing out in the open is fun
The strange glances as people strain their eyes
To see what the words falling on my paper are saying,
Only to be disappointed when they realize
. . .
She's writing poetry
*insert eye roll
How I wish people would just ask to see what it is I'm writing
Just so I can have the satisfaction of telling them NO!
But what can I say I like leaving people asking questions
After sextuplets come septuplets
Inconceivably set-uplets . . .
Long hard nights of Mom kept-uplets
Sevenfold fruit of busy couplets.
Not to mention octuplets . . .
or even baby squids
“Falling in love” is a contradiction in itself, because in love there is only the rising, the ascending, not the falling.
You can not fall in love, but rather, rise.
In your heart, to spare some with me
Or will you get your hands ***** while you break mine?
Breakfast smells ironish meanwhile, and the skies don't look so pink anymore,
No more la vie en roses, only reality, moldy and old same reality;
Regulus Cayapata
When the dose come with lose
And I'm in hazy wrapped in crazy
Metamorphose in lachrymose
I teared in a breezy dusk to the cozy bed.
She said "I'm falling in love."

I said "I'm falling apart."
What's the difference?
“I am the best thing that ever
walked into your life.” I won’t
ever have to say that to her.
It’s like a Christmas present.
You don’t tell the girl you’re
giving It to what’s in the package.
She has to open it. She has to
tear off the paper and bow.
She will feel it the rest of her
life and cry tears of joy.

every poem
is written
in blood

this is all
I'll shed
for you.
Please stop the time dear
I wanna get off right here
i fell in love,
with the idea,
of you,
and not you.
Nicola Pillai
Late nights
Toast fests
Shopping in the city
Long chats
Silly dancing
Trying to look pretty

Tears of joy
Some of sadness
An emotional rant or two
Six weddings
A few funerals
Five babies, my three, your two

The good, the bad, we were all we had
The list goes on, it's endless
The challenges life threw our way
Always learning and trying to comprehend it

I had your back
You had mine
Life was good and we lived it
Completely oblivious, no notion of time
Our all - we certainly did give it

So next chapter sis, with this year ahead
Time, is of the essence
Let’s make new memories, relish this life
Take stock and count our blessings
shianne rose
there are two types of sadness

there’s the kind of sadness
we ignore and
try to get rid of it
by finding new things to do
or we find someone to talk to
by blatantly avoiding any type of conversation
about feeling sad
about having any feelings at all
and then there’s that kind of sadness
that takes over
and it consumes any activity we do
we know it’s there
and there’s no possible way to avoid it
so we feed it exactly what it wants
it craves the sad music
it craves the isolation
it craves the anxiousness
and the sadness comes storming in
it has no manners
here we are calling sadness, an “it”
when all it is
is a feeling
that most people
call home
Yeah, you're special.
So am I.
So is everybody.
So what?
i’m alone,
craving his touch,
his breath on his lips
his fingers between mine.
and i realize, at most, that is a wish,
not a possibility.
Paul Hobson
I dance, I cook, I clean, I sing.
I love, I laugh, I play, I need.
Im happy, Im sad, Im angry, Im mean.
Im unique, Im special, Im caring, Im me.
you remind me
of something
that never happened
i find it hard to open up to him which really ***** because it ends up hurting both of us
they buried a poet
sprinkled his words over coffin
tossed a book into dirt alongside
and waited few decades
to have a leaf sprout
for winds to carry his lines
to one with open ears
another circle in a world of squares
have phrases strain down the cheeks
into ink smeared on paper

buried in a trashcan
in a diary
in a library
in dirt
everywhere really...
When I was younger
I once read a book,
That somehow connected with me.

It was bought by my mother
It was aptly named, What My Mother Doesn't Know

I'm quite sure my mother knew
Atleast most of what I was up too.
And I was all the better for it.

I still have the book,
I think I'll give it to my own child one day.
I never asked to be born
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!
Traveler Tim

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again
Life can be
Such a mess
So get out there
And do your best

You fell down
Well, get back up
I never meant
To be so rough

The world is fast
And it ain't fair
Love is hard
And it's cold out there

Life can be such a mess
It's up to you
To do your best...

It's 11:11
and for the first time
after a very long time
I'm wishing for myself
and not for you
I found myself
After many years
Trials and tribulations
Too many tears

Years went wasted
Feeling empty
Lost in despair
Nothing good could be

I lost it all
Nothing to do
In that barren moment
A light shined through
My life nearly gone
Yet I still stood
Was tragedy over
Leaving room for good

I’d been the victim
For far too long
Accepting the sentence
Of everything wrong
Yet in my darkness
The sun did rise
Realizing I’d lived
A series of lies

Carrying the mark
Of sins not mine
Knowing it was time
For the true me to shine
Destiny now in my hands
To shape and create
Shedding all judgment
Even if a bit late

I found myself
After many years
Now living fully
Nurturing my cares
you're so beautiful
and broken inside

didn't love almost
bring you to suicide?

because it wasn't real
did you really think they'd care?

he just wants to use you
he wants to **** the life out of you
emotionally torture me... and then leave me by myself...
In a world of dreamers,
are you awake or asleep?

In a realm of promises,
which do you keep?

In a land of tomorrows,
when does he beseech?

Within thoughts of conclusion,
does she retreat?

In the be all end all,
why does she screech.

I think we're all dead now,
we weep
John Bartholomew
Half a million hits
Whilst the pervs progressively click
Lacy knickers on as there she solely sits
Bra on the floor just flashing her...oh my!
I'll let you fill in the rest of the bits.

To give you all of it right back,
earnest efforts keep on and on.
So you never saw it obvious,
a turbid soul you could hone.

In the reach of my hands, you
were lying, but it's been a while,
been tired guiding the crack of life
won't you come run my extra mile?
I'll be there forever
Mouth is shut, let it be silence and peace
Listen to the voice that will guide us how we speak
The intonation that you imitate for that is
the basic to get the knowledge that we seek
Bolaji Temilola
It's so beautiful
Falling in love with you.
You stretched out your hand
And hold me tight.
As you lay a gentle kiss on my lips
And the gentle wind
Blows softly through the tonight
And the stars are shining so
As I look into your eyes
Your smile was filled with joy and fear

Eyes so charmed and
Bright and there's silence
In the air it's happiness
All around us and as
You touch me softly
And I melt in  your arms
What a day I can never forget

Now touch your heart,
Close your eyes
And you will see that
What we have
Is true love

Open your heart and you will
It's true love coming true
Because this love
Is so beautiful
Between me and you

And from the moment we touched
All our dreams have coming true
All we need to do
Is to swallow our ego
And do the talking

So just listen to
My heart it's beating
Only one thing
I love you.
Living on in my head
its you

not them
you are missing

be aware
of all feeling
held to the image of another
in your mind

and know
its you not they

requires an adjustment
She spoke about the moon
Just like the way she felt about me
Loving from a distance
Never really understood her

The careful words stitched into a sentence
“doesn’t the moon look beautiful?” She says
Translated into “I love you.”

She spoke about the moon
Oh the way she said it melted even the iciest of souls.
She sure thawed mine.
I’m forever changed.

You are not the love of my life,
You are the life of my love ❤️
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that
