The irony is
that the fear of death
gives rise to the fear of living
Meeting uncertainty
with an unshakable faith
is the gift that keeps on giving
Sometimes the world drifts out of few
And all you see is you
Standing in the rain
Feeling the pain
But you don’t always have to be tough
Hear me when I say, you’re enough

When you make a mistake
That’s okay
We’ve all been there
I mess up every day

Sure, you have your flaws
As do well all
But you care when others would just stare
You give a hand even when you’re feeling bad
And try to be fair

You can play the guitar
Write real well
And let’s be fair
You’re also pretty tall xD
wrote this for a friend lol
I have so much trash
Carrying with me
Carrying in my bag
Carrying in my head
Trash outside
Trash everywhere

If I could
rearrange the Earth,
all of the flowers would

You can’t get back what’s already been lost but you can regain appreciation for what isn’t there anymore…
i looked out  the window on a  spring time morn
flowers waking up as they see the dawn.

birds begin to sing to brighten up the day
telling us that spring is truly on the way.

daffodils are blooming standing so upright
with there golden flowers  bringing such delight.

the sun begins to shine sending down its ray
bringing lots of happiness on a spring time day
There were days
I remembered
To put my heart on my sleeve.

The other days
I hid it
So deep inside my body
I couldn’t find it for myself.

The terror of anyone finding
Me judging me
Seemed to linger in the air
I inhaled.
It’s not really clear
through smoke
and stale beer
the reason
we’re here is
dopamine steers…

I am well practiced in the art of heartache
Fluent in the language of grief
Versed in the routine of melancholy

I walk through this life marred by loss

Each day representing my triumphant victory over each obstacle existence has thrown at me
Lost Soul
I spent 83 days wondering why
1,992 hours crying
And 7,171,200 seconds dying a little more inside

I can't say I'm sorry for what happened before
I left because
I didn't matter to you anymore
I fell in love with her,
cause I got lost in her world,
that she creates with all of her words
and everything she writes,
so when I look into her eyes,
realize that she must be mine,
A future with her,
A future with more,
maybe house with three living there for free.
The life we envisioned

Love is indeed art
Simple to see and embrace
A challenge erased
What is love and how do we know it, couple times found in your life, only to be lost and discovered like the rise and fall of the sun. Fooled and shamed into believing only to see clearly later it was game and Pons were topled for her pleasure. She is an island that is not reachable if it was you'd be stranded and slowly die.
David Lessard
I used to read your poems
but lately you don't write
you're silent and aloof
you know that isn't right.
You can't close a door once opened
you can't abolish all your dreams
you're a poet of the heart
mustn't fall apart at the seams.
Say what you can in words
they speak the message true
spoken from the heart
the poems will see you through.
A hermit's not your style
a recluse, you are not
never give up writing
of things that you've been taught.
I used to read your poems
I'd read them once again
if you would send them out
(this one's from a poet friend)

If tomorrow never comes for me
If I shall not wake in the morning
Would you know I love you
Would you know I care
Maniacal Escape
Silence boy
Silly boy
Try it again boy.
Cut it boy
Taint it boy
Let it all flow boy.
Daft boy
Silent boy
Swinging with tinsel boy.

Vile urchin
Always searching
Never seems
To know
Cant play the hand of cards
He’s dealt
Everyone else
Is unaware
How garish fanfare
Spares no expense
To steal their minds
As his just constantly
You were special to me
Now you are especially
Removed from my life
Not because you demanded it
But because I tired of ways
You insistently brought strife
I turned it around to peace
Communication and appreciation
Spreading light around in spite
sometimes darkness
indulge you in sheer tranquility
and eliminates the mists
I don’t want to
Open my mouth
Because I’m still afraid
The truth might come out
And if it does
If it really breaks free
You’ll see what I am
You’ll see the true me
The one I hide
With jokes and lies
I’m a terrible person
All jokes aside
You don’t seem to know it
You don’t seem to see
Even a glimpse of that person
That I know to be me
I’m such a good actress
I hide it so well
Cover it with a laugh
And you’ll never tell
You see depth in my eyes
You see love and emotion
But what would you see
If I ever did open
I can’t bear to find out
I can’t bear to show
The me you don’t see
The me that I know
If I let it out
If I let it be
I know for a fact
That you would hate me.
They said,
"The most beautiful art is
looking into someone's eyes
when they talk about the
things they love.
And I said,
"Or looking at someone you love.
Or maybe, just maybe,
by looking at the mirror
is the most beautiful art
anyone should appreciate."
Appreciation post for myself; for you and for everyone as well. You deserve more than the world has to offer.
To finish your own life by hand,
May seem like the right thing to do.
But to free yourself from this land,
Is to imprison those that love you.

1 Weary soul.
No regrets.
So many poems
and stories
have gone unwritten
due to fear of not being good enough
She said "I'm falling in love."

I said "I'm falling apart."
What's the difference?
i sat there,
watching my blood
drip onto my hands,
and on the floor,
seeping through
the rug below me

i sat there,
and said
"it didn't even hurt"

but sadly,
that was a lie

i can still feel
the knife slicing my skin,
but i liked it
i adore cold weather.
But not for the fires,
Or the warmth of another person.
I find something beautiful about it,
And maybe even a bit lonely.
It reminds me of bittersweet loss,
And finding the strength to move on.

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater

No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again

In the tall grass
Lutalica girl
In places on the run
Stretched out in her awakening
Removes the dress of her captivity
To introduce herself to those she loves
There's something deeply unknowable
And terrifying in the arrival of her liberty
Sprung forth out of the box
She started from

Lutalica: the part of your identity that doesn't fit into categories.
your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that

Now read from bottom to top.
The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.
One golden feather
Of the golden eagle
Falling down from high above
Once an  endangered species
Feeds their living young
with their own death ones.....
If  necessary
Anything for survival
Seems harsh,  yet
Golden eagle with golden feathers
Golden rules to save the young and the species.

The golden eagle will do everything to survive.

I met a woman
brutal in her mercy.

Her embrace was a clinch
to prevent hard blows.
She pulled me close to push me away.
Seeing my nakedness
she leant me a dream
of chainmail and shield.
Taking love from me she gave a reprieve
to a mind resigned to the slow death of feeling.

Ignoring my words she heard
my faint silent heartbeat and
understood that it was music
too quiet for the world to hear
and turned it up louder
than I could stand.
I wept in my deafness
as she danced.
The young will shade their fallen progeny
The land traveller is halted by the sea
Revolution will eventually fill every street ..
