Neon lights
Bleed my eyes
I've lost sight
I can only rhyme
Whispering voices
Long day gone
Residue of life
Where did we go wrong
Giving we gave
Taken we took
Sinners and savior
All in one book
And so we read on
There's no end
To our songs!

love is beautiful
between perky pyramids
avoiding the heart

they played with fire
because they wanted to get burnt

sad eyes blown away with smoke
sadder smiles drinking false hope

playing spin the bottle
trying to kiss the brokenness in each other

they were so lonely
but at least they weren't alone
Alexis karpouzos
The stars blink in awe
when the soul gleam from love,
of the gleam of souls
the celestial light
bursts forth
and life miracles
radiate in eternity.
Love was born
and set the worlds alight.
Riding a paved rainbow
To a *** of misery
That life has promised me.
I don't Drink
Not because I don't want to
I don't Drink
Not because I don't need to

I don't drink because of you
because of what you did
because I swore that I would never be like you
because you were the monster I feared

I don't drink, because I fear
The monster in you, will become the monster in me
and that monster is something I never want to be.
What does a dog and

A cheery up happy poem :)

We see in angles and shadows -
Blistered and hollow eyed,
And this feels like escape.
You sculpted me, carved a groove in me,
And hurt that never
Found it's way into your light.
Breath like an electric current -
Arch-drag, and touching like claws.
We can't watch this burn down,
And we can't look away.
Hard and dark -
There is no softness here, no safety.
It's ash on our altar of stone and wind,
And it tastes like fire and dust -
A bruised and aching dream
Testament to the broken beats -
Wonderfully bitter.
This is the only offering we have left,
And it will never be enough.
Hush - don't tell a soul -
These are the things we carry,
And these are the things we keep.

Oh Dear, my heart, is, really pure,
You will love it,my love,I am sure!
If eyes could ****
Like lips can lie
I think that I'd be hypnotized
isn't it strange,
that the most
things in this world
are not what we do not understand,
but the things that we do?

We made you

Mother of twins,

Suckle me now

And walk

One bright morning in the middle of the night
two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman heard the noise
and ran to save the two dead boys
If you don't believe this lie is true
ask the blind man, he saw it, too.
THIS IS NOT MINE. it was written by palmer proffitt
I still remember the last time I saw you
and I remember the day I realized
it was really over

but life goes on, as things do
however, I still find myself
thinking about you

I’ve seen other people,
I’m sure you have too
but still, I really, truly do
myss you
incessant dilemmas;
abstinent solutions;

inserted into an age
of malevolent agenda
overflowing center stage
a non-sentient vendetta

in consensus that,
ignorance is venomous,
belligerent indefinite;
self-distruction now immanent
ominous the problematic incident;
consequence from beings omniscient
for insolence of the unintelligent
across anonymous continents

mimic the intricate
not so distant
instant of inseminate
fruition came to the human condition
maturation a simulation
innovation in creation

Though what comes after,

I read those same chapters
Before I go to bed
For there I sleep
And in my dreams
The story ends
I always awake
With tears dried
On my cheeks

So tell me where shall I go ?
To the left,
Where nothing's right ?
Or to the right,
Where nothing's left?

a fool
i am
  to convince myself
  that the words that flowed
like the sound of a perfect melody
  from your lips,
  were the words

So am I loyal

for still loving you
What if
You have been fighting
A losing battle
All along
What if
The silence
Within you
Is only
The calm
Before the strom
It is going to be a fight
You just cannot

my biggest fear.
daylight robbery of the night
in plain sight dreams wrenched-
out from befuddled minds eye.
im still alive
sorry to disappoint
I’m scared as f*ck
to want you.

But here
I am,

Still wanting you
rain spattered
pavements teeming;
one thousand prismatic shades of meaning

graffiti-laden puddles splish, splosh, splash;
as midnight turns
to blue, and
dawn to

‘I walked up, and I walked down, and I walked straight into a delicately dying sky, and finally the sequence of observed and observant things brought me, at my usual eating time, to a street so distant from my usual eating place that I decided to try a restaurant which stood on the fringe of the town. Night had fallen without sound or ceremony when I came out again.’

I wear mask
in this masked town
covered in darkness
ask anyone around
this is no means a dead town
ask around
look in our eyes
you'll see the fear
of what you said you despised
its all one big happy lie
and our tears
fall from your sky
you can't hear us
but were all asking

All that long hot summer through
I shared a summer cold with you

that seemed to last forever.

Whether, sharing the same germs, dreams,
bacteria or whatever

it seemed to bind us so...very close together.

If this was couldn't get no better.

And all my heart
could say

even to this

'Bless you...bless you...bless you.'
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems too *******.
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.

"keep your eyes closed love. sometimes all you have to listen is to what the sound of the waves tells you to do"

When I was much younger, beaches were my second favorite places. I still love watching waves as they go by, crashing against each other and the whole process repeating all over again.
I won’t lie.
Once those eyes met mine,
I imagined.
When I watched you run your hands through your hair multiple times,
I daydreamed.
But when I saw that genuine smile and laugh you gave once I made you laugh,
I fell.
She made her crown out of thorns and broken things and built a castle in her ruins

I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

And answer to the unsolved equation
Do they make me feel loved?

People are kind.
Blame it on me.
I lost you long ago
but you still haunt me.
Wander beyond sanity
and flights of fancy and
see what climbs up my
spine and whispers
"Life is empty promise".
I'm out of my mind. Stay.

a thousand i miss yous linger
in the sky, stubborn clouds that they
are. but i am not tall enough,
nor can i reach high enough to
bring them down and spill them upon
the floor for you. so they remain
there, unspoken, unrained, unloved.

I love broken things,
But I don't love myself.
at this point,
i can't even tell
if it helps anymore
it's just a part of me
ingrained as deeply
as a love of stars
or running
until i can't breathe
just to drown out
the noise in my head
i have to wonder
will these scars
ever help?
i still feel like **** no matter what
