Fog shrouds my body
Inside my mind, diverse worlds
Each vibrant and loud

My body is young, and yet I feel so old.
Like I've already lived and experienced things
and it leaves me feeling weary.

There is nothing worse than
feeling chained and trapped
in place where the sun don't
shine

If given the opportunity to wear a
true crown of light and life, I will
gladly trample on the crown of
the world.

Never mistake a silent person one
for a weak one.

Your every breath is a gift from God,
so live. Keep in mind that tomorrow
is not promised to anyone.

Inner wish comes true
My passion grows over time
Power flows through me

Loathe me for owning, wearing and

I walk with lost hope
Hugs and love forgotten fast
Flowers wave troubled

Blossoms falls on lake
Snow cloaks wild, fierce and free
Ending of a wish

Spring silently swells
Gentle touch of my delight
Art flows with caution

Friendships now on ice
Turn away with answers found
Lament in your eyes

I'm sprawled on my couch
Fan is on, in bra and briefs
It's too fricking hot

Sun shines bright at dawn
White sheets slips, **** skin rise
We embrace content

I can't thank everyone here enough!
I started this page last year because I felt
like I needed an outlet for how I was feeling.
It was such a low place to be...
Things now are somewhat better,
but life as you know is up and down
To know that HP is such a positive and
supportive platform means so much to me.
Especially because I do have anxiety
as well as depression.

I usually feel very VERY
low about myself. Writing was and always will
be a way for me to cope - even though I do have
a love-hate relationship with it, but I digress.
This platform has made me truly believe more
in the writing craft. When it comes to art and expression,
I feel like I truly can be myself. It's a ray of light in
my life that I'm starting to believe in.
So much so that I've got a project lined up!
I'm working on my first poetry collection.
There's still  alot of details to work out, but
I will let you know as I go.
I've now opened a Twitter account so you're
welcome to follow me! I'll try to be active on there as
much as I can.

Lost in a daydream
Let my griefs fall with cold days
Flightless bird in snow

To hide a secret
I found that the best way is
to hide in plain sight

Dreaming in my mind
Walking under blue moonlight
on clouds of yonder

Raise the crack of dawn
Autumn rain falls hypnotic
Hearts now pure and clean

Change of my yonder
Spring's kiss embraces me so
Swans glide on still ponds

Just as the sun rises, there always
comes a time for it to set

One should not be curious out
of ignorance

Vain in their minds
Hearts filled with lust for darkness
Not all tongues are wise

Temples not sacred
Turn the sweet into sour
Numb, enslaved to vice

In a world that loves the artificial,
there are those who will always
love the natural

My mind seems to float
in shadows of rising mist
Mysteries of time

Each word we paint
on the canvas of life
are tears, our ink
for our golden quills

Raising gold hour
Light over dahlian fields
Colours coat the earth

Listen to rainsongs
My head rests on lover's chest
His arms, my haven

My inner star-seed
shines as above and below
transcend my lifetime

The surf gently strokes the shore
The sands reveal loving notes of
the sea's heart and soul
Shells that hold secrets and
songs of all wonders and
terrors that lay below
They glisten upon the golden
sands as a mere human like
me walks
How it soothes the soul.
I pick up the shells from
the sea's edge
They drink the sun's light on
my palm, so strange and beautiful
But nothing compared to when I
place the love's note to my ear
and hear the murmurs and
laughter of all it's creatures
How the sea's love notes
picks me off my feet
Drifting on the tide
of star-seed
dreams

Who says you can't wear a crown
and still be humble?

Being human, we all
have that ability to hurt,
harm and ****
Life and death are powers
in all our tongues
and you don't seem to
get that what you say
has weight
Once you think your
words, know what
to day and don't
You never know what
demons each person
faces
Yes, they may smile
but your cruel words
adds to their pain
adds to them corroding
on the inside
They may be dancing
near the edge with
death talking in
their ear and you
may be the give
them that final push
They will take death
by the hand with
their faith in human
kindness crushed
People want to live
but many just survive
Don't make anyone
feel numb or more
dead inside

Pay homages to the ones who open
the door for you to climb and
succeed.

light in life
dare to run and
fly

Touch
heaven's
face with the
candle that burns
bright

Know
that the
lights will guide
back to the right
path

Close
your eyes
Let your flame
Make the dark night
bright

Work your hardest to be
your very best.

Let creative souls be creative souls.
Don't think that you're better,
give them their due
respects.

When all you do is hang around
snakes, soon enough you too
will be spewing venom.

There are people who can sing

There are people who can write

and

there are people who write


The difference is that with ones who 'can' are
usually the ones you bob your head
to as well as acknowledge.

But with the ones who just do what they do?
There are the ones who touch your soul.

No swarms of sick thorns will

He will lay his hands over
you and all that ails you will
be still waters.

All sickness will wash away and
you will rise afresh, born anew.
To sing, dance, write and ride
to the winds of life with
joy.

Those who serve halos
under the false light won't bring

Pondering in Spring
Warming up in tranquil minds
Leaves falling gracious

Stress, my fallen foe falls quick

Success can be a double edged sword.

and yet, people hate you.
Why can't we enjoy

envy?

A cold glass in hand
So delicate on the nose
Wine of Italy

Such a rich sweet smell
Sparkling pink with berries
Of both rasp and straw

Sips from a Rose Sea
Tendrils coil down my body
Flowers bloom warmly
