Remembrance
by Michael R. Burch

Remembrance like a river rises;
the rain of recollection falls;
vague memories, like vines, entangled,
cling to Time's collapsing walls.

The past is like a distant mist,
the future like a far-off haze,
the present half-distinct an hour
before it blurs with unseen days.

Black blankets above cover the plane
Not much to see
apart from the rain
Lights in the landscape
vary in height
Specks in the sky
as we travel at night

Circles and signs surround from afar
Cats eyes sparkle below in the tar
Stay in your lane as the lights travel past
Red and white blurs
We're moving so fast

I didn't bite the apple, but now I see that
there's a dangerously blurred line
between liberation and
thraldom
Really reflective today...
Again a lil off but fine, I hope. (My head hurts badly, though)
But I'm inspired me to do a project! Two projects but one at a time!
Thanks everyone! ^-^
Be back soon!

Being with you
Blurs boundaries
Withers innocence
Suppresses guilt
Rages darkness
Till wrong does not seem wrong no more

There was no before or after you
You didn't cut my life in half
You were just a blur
and a blur can't be loved or hated
blurs can barely be seen
blurs have no definitions
blurs are forgotten with ease
So don't worry stay calm
Don't pity me
Don't feel like you need to apologize
Because there is no need
I have already made peace with myself
And you are not in it
So, Blur away... Blur away
When life is sometimes hard... just blur away
