Dare to Dream awake
And a fleeting spec of dust falls in your eyes
You wonder with eyes wide open
Is this me?

You stand by the sycamore trees
Palms wide open scanning the branches
Opening your eyes to its length
A little to long you think, to long to want to climb

As time passes by you don't pass by their trail
Its to painful to know where they are, but ask yourself, will they please dream a little dream of me
A little reminder to myself that, when I attach to people, I'm more attached to people who I can't see as often. Recently someone left my life and I wish I did something differently so they could be back in my life.

Thy wakened dream fleets into nostalgia
It beckons one taste for love and sorrow
Then It bathes in distance and doubt
My dream my love, is not in love
With the dream I fell asleep to.

In love, in love, and in love again
As friend of such a woman
A friend who cares,

dares to ask where I stand... I stand upon ones heart

Cracked moon light spots blotched with hot spots
Coarse detachments between your thoughts
And my rationale
I speak..... Do I speak ?
To you ?
The truth is so painful.... To you

Buried beaneath you and crying hums alone and patched with agony as you trickle away
Each day your face.... Sheds it's grace, love - youthful taste and play, I'm a stranger to your soul

As I leak my heart on your guarded shield, I crumble to your insistence
It's the 'one'
Bust their just playing a game
Only to play you until you wither away

It's clear - their care lasts like the wind
Finding someone you like, but they seem to use you

Please oh please shake me
Like a bumble

More honks and more rings
More midnight whispers before I sleep

I need you to see me

Hello, My name is Nym
I'm not sorry for what I have done
I'm not afraid for what I have done
It is who I am
I shall not fade away in your searing presence
For I shall be the beam of light
When your hope has been nothing but vanished
A young girl, who does not feel slightly defeated.

I loved him,
Even though I said, "no more"

Even though, I took a stand

I still love him

I see into him,
His desire
Awakened my desire
And my desire

Became our desires

But, a long distance away
A time away,
A thought (that became too many thoughts)
Too many thoughts, alone
Became fearful forces
That forced and forced to find pleasure

Yet, emptiness in this loneliness became the only outcome

Of being so far away
Gave positive contemplation
With the mixture of insane

...Over-contemplation

And still, I love him
I think I always will
I think, I always have
I have always loved you

Sweet innocence painted on the hills forehead
As free as the quiet night as loud as the thunderous gods,

The waking days, eternal romantic essentials

Angelic wings touched the lush below, the celestial being calming it's calf - the suckling weaned, hushed under moonlight starlets

The entry to the lush of simple being, the center of nostalgia, hidden with trinkets of history
It's story is a tale creating the homely care, shushing the fears of the frightened children. The green mountain hills sing the lullabies of lulling sleep.

So sound asleep, the whole night whispers...
Good graces, to doze off into eternal silence
Summers ago I went to a farm in Canada. I fell in love with the farm and I always think back to those moments as some of the fondest and wholesome memories. Im hoping in this poem my memory captures the time spend at the farm in its very essence.

A mind curious by step, ******* in streams of vitality
Grasping its journey..... Spirited by step
Oh, curiousity, spirit - placed before caution....

Stuck between one or the other, unmixed?
Only a singly misstep and its curiousty's mistake without prior consideration- you tumbled.

Rolled down, the wind knocked out of you!
Heaving, anxiety of dying......

Now......
Every single curious idea was lost in faultful recklessness
Biking incident. Left me in the ER yesterday, pretty unpleasant day.

I want to know what I can do
It doesnt feel like my time here is blending in me
I want to sleep, but I can shake my feet off the ground
I'm lost
(it becomes my soul)

Drawn into a world of hurt
I build a castle around this mind
It falls like petals
(it becomes my eyes)

Im drawn into wine and pouring
suddenly Im pouring everything
Nothing is left
(it becomes my bones)

Fickle at dawn fleeting at dusk
nothing stays
everything will vanish, but you didnt know
(it becomes my mind)

Believing inst a dream I could want
Loving is to far from this grain
Pushing into laces vases
(it becomes my ideas)

Unbalanced mind is a stretch of hate
(Im becoming my monster)

Humming, humming slowly - whispers of heated nothings

Burning brightly through galactic stars...
The tiniest embers, piercing slowly- trickling, until black charcle sheets taint me

Before the black night, I didn't know you - talking was pointless

Touching, without the physical touch
Holding, with out being held - hell, this may be

In presence with souls intertwined
Our heated embers soared into flames of brilliant shades
Our time, our moment - so quick.

Our flames were the pinnacle of grace, but bound to be grace would fall one day - unpredictably it did.

Until, days came, all left - burns

As do, the greatest loves, do not stay when they should
Leaving when they shouldn't.
A beautiful bright love - that doesn't last

There is so much more to life than a glance
Yet
We feel small

Days
Disgusted, peeved, put off to no end

Days
life truly captures our heart
In a space of excruciating exhaustion
of, hopelessness

And then the world blinks its eyes open to hold us
Remind us, tend to us, guide us
And believe in us

Intuition arrive with a screaming
halt!

Whisper softly
caress our most intimate
heart
with assurance

unfolding
carefully
pleasing,

everything will be fine

Sublime blues
Midnight moon light
The hym of the abyss can find you.
(The siren calls for her prey tonight)

It was only  sinful lust
A robustly thick waist
A jar to slip blood.
She slips into fear of what she's done
(She dips her leg into water)

The water puffs black
The ripples are pacing quicker
A hiss is what she hears
(The night grows larger)

Her dark brown eyes form tears, chaos is here
She feels wrapped in a deformed arm
The panic wakes
The slick hands searches for her body
(The price she must pay)

She turns and prays
The scratch is so excruciating
She screeches 'save me lord'
The hand searches again
(The siren Digs in to take her down)

Her eyes will reflect the darkness
She screams for mercy
She begs for life
The hand hold her ankle and drags her
(She is drowning)

The kelp tangles her in darkness
Bubbles fall from her shaking lips
Her limbs are a stone blue
It was only a sinful lust
(She is slipping )

The fish tail wraps her body into an ocean cascade
Shells and pearl ornaments
The sea creature takes her soul and builds it with strength
(Her life is dieing but her eyes are changing)

She is no longer human
The sea has changed her vision
The siren hummed her to awake
She did not

The night of the frozen
The night of the mysterious
The night of the darkness

Her eyes awoke, finally
She startled the sirens to her
Piercing blue eyes

Eyes of the ocean sublime blue
I don't know but I thinking about starting a mermaid series. I love the idea of a sailor intrigued by the love of mystery and fleeting romance. This was not love it was more of letting go of your fear and setbacks and letting time wake you up to see what you believe in- through your own eyes.

The the ship of the past
The wonder of time
Has no care what is mine
To slip into hypnosis and play maritime dreams
Sailor at heart
Haven't sailed into snow
Fallen into the trenches
Where to next
Is a liking to mine

A flit of the wrist in her eyes
Flickering like stars in the night
Less to do with fear, the curiosity of a different view point
Kept her sleeping in the forest
Green grass stains last on this girls jeans. Young, curious, and passionate and innocent the world is bright and resplendent.

Maybe I can - said she
The little petals seemed like crowned jewels...
And I breathed

Something more.

It felt like connection
Sense
This deepness

I have never known
And I felt I could.
The stars seemed like guides.

And. I knew — where my compass....

Directing me
Slowly

Blows my sails
When you are beginning to have a deeper understanding of who you are to you.

I'm tangled inside and everything comes out like glass
I'm cutting inside.

The way you carelessly lose yourself, cuts me inside
And I forcefully tear my skin off
To show you I'm bleeding.
Can these pools of red speak louder than thunderous phrases?
I've tried.

You find yourself in dark places
Losing yourself to people who won't remember your name.
And you forget yourself
And
It
Tears
Me
Inside

In the worst kind of way.

I can't force you
Can tears? Can pleas of red and blue? Can whispers of adoration?
I've tried.

Does it come down like lightning - or do I sit in a deserted room...
Watching an hour glass, receiving postage with your name written on it.
Hearing about you from everyone but
you.
I've tried

And I'm the woman stuck in a painting
Trapped in an artifact
Scribbled on a drawing.
I can't speak!
Every single piece of me is lost in time, to trying, to trying..... Fading.

But, I saw you yesterday.
You smiled.
It felt like the beginning of something,
I realized
After all this time, maybe we can began again
Trying to hard to force someone to stop them from hurting or what you think is hurting themselves but you can not do anything about it.
Leila Valencia Nov 2015
With a thick branch around my waist
I must not be allowed to complain
I want the warmth within my feet
As you sway and fall back and forth
I'm desperately climbing my way up
It is a large feat, but I can see that my eyes do not stop at the top
They stop at the sky
Leila Valencia Apr 2016
What you see
The car lights through the mist
your silhouette in the lake
the scars on your wrist
sunsets in the day
sunrises at night
Beauty in the eye of the beholder
A day waking up in a hazy most.
Leila Valencia May 2016
The words of the wind whiper 'Come my dear'
Sweep me off my feet
I'm struck by dazzling discords of sharpened breathes becoming beautiful
Galaxies of play swift through your hands
The electricity of communication shoots through your systems
Before the world says 'Hello' you breathe the stories of magic and wisdom
Born storyteller, walking on a different mental plane
Holding the air, letting it go with a blow
Traveling the sky and landing on my heart
But you can only stay for a day
But the words of the wanderer, forever may they stay
The play and love of a Gemini
Leila Valencia May 2016
Opening doors keeping out the dark fumes
My lover hidden upon darkened tombs
And I assumed there's an attribution through you
Who am I to assume?
My dream casted discreetly, shielded neatly - playfully pull underneath me
Keep me at an unrest

Undress, test, your eyes will surmise I'm not thinking of only you in dusk sunrise
Tie me, try me - bend me, break me
Try as you mite you can't believe thee
You're not the only eyes

Hash me, harass me - your answer unfulfilled yet,
Becoming furious I let you come forth
Sharp and sweet I meet you hands and grip they do
I show you, I can love two

You snap and take me, burn, bust, and shake me
You can't hold any longer
You let go
And I run never letting you really hold me
A woman who has no problem being with multiple partners
Leila Valencia Oct 2015
She was the kindest friend I ever had,
But one I wouldn't say to much about
We'd see eachother on occasion, but she never pushed me
I never felt like she was an evasion to my space
To my crazy little thoughts

Instead she was the soil to my growth
The seed of my confidence
My flower blooming, bursting with colors
My feet firmly planted
I walked with pride
My eyes looked at the stars,  For once I felt assured in my stride

Some nights we stayed up late, our pillows stacking into forts
My eyes twirled like a plane on a rocket
And In my room We danced all night, laughed until dawn
My stomach would clench in pain from laughing
My eyes watered, and my heart was fluttering with glee
I felt whole around her like she sewed a missing part to me

We Shared our darkest secrets for long
My blood sistes, Nothing could every feel wrong
I felt so close to home I could cry, and I did

I told her my somber life story
The trauma, the pain - she held my hand
Before long, I told her my insecurities.
Despising the shape, colors, and texture of my body
I looked at her and held my waist,
I glared at her in disgust, twirling the fat, ripping off my skin
I was screaming in her face

Then I curled into a bundle, ashamed.
She cupped her hands under my chin, and said," I love the way you are, please don't ever change."

Reconciled, I went to hug her to only bring her nearer
Oddly, She didn't hug back because she was nothing but a mirror

Moments

Hidden ago, long ago beneath this stairwell

Tempting to reopen yet torture to hold so dearly

Single lane separation

Holding this ideal, sun kissed on my temple, perpetual grief as the truth is opposed to ideals

Warm tender joints
Shaking in calm movements
Sleeping under the yet to be seen ideals of given fantasies unable to disclose

Imagine symbols
Imagine everyone

Long live your eyes
Pick your petals
Like sun drops

Imagine rocks
Imagine waves
Imagine you
Don't imagine me
(who are you)

You startle me like a window breeze
You scare me like a midnight howl
You see me like a small light
You know me like the spine on your back
You heard of me from the owl's noise
(Who are you, I want to)

I know of you and I know you well
Like a midnight veil I want you
I cant see you
Clearly its very concrete
My cloud is strung to my heart
And your steps are pulling me to your walk
My eyes wont  sleep my head is dumb
I'm lost in your walk
(I'm searching for you)

I don't know you
I'm stuck in my head today. I'm in love with someone I don't know, again. I want to know him. I want him to see me. I'm stuck in my head. I cant to anything.

Swinging in a pale motion
Flying back and forth mellow, in motion
Booming with each, every foot step

Each moment I awake to your presence
Pang!
The wind picks me up
Bang!
Sweeping me forward
Every swing is in motion with chaos
with in the mellow confines of my strung out heart

A hallow spark
Waiting for a filling.
Maybe it's time to...
Gong!

A mind unable to think with the echoed ring
Bringing her to sleep
In a hallow wedge in the earth's crust.
Beginning to write about the beauty of bells, but became a little more thoughtful when I started to write.
Goo
Leila Valencia May 2016
Goo
Plunged in the dead center
Gasping, grasping, asking for air
Pooled goo globed inside of you
Sit inside a pool of gushy goo
Dipping deeper unable to move
Your lungs collapse, mini heart attacks
The fear turns black, Swimming recklessly
Pushing, and pulling, budging, and shoving
Stuck in your mind - unable to twitch a limb
Thickened - weighed down - trapped - sinking......

Will you be mine? My Sticky slime valentine?
Take me in my shape ?
I could not, Unable, Incapable.
I could not say for the goo has gotten it's way.
When you're interested in someone to the point where you feel stuck.

Heaven's drops of gold crystallized
Smeared like fairy dust
Speckled puncturing wings float
Spinning on a top
Hung by the wind wires
Carrying a drop of sugary splurge
Giving to all
All, near

As the green lush opens
Caresses the smooth shadows in the morning dusk the tired wings wake
Flapping
Floating, as one peacefully
Gained momentum
To reach the peak, then she flapped..

To sprinkle dust of the heavens
Down to those.

Asking for none in return

Gales of gorgeous - magenta
Magnetic, momentous as thy flight my soul goes on...

Along with all
Paper planes pupils
Upon, upon, going away - whoosh!
The mountain tops peeping grey
Ineluctably transcend, dreams

Wings made of star dust
Whimpering the fly once more
I shake in immediate readiness
Yet my paper wings fall flat

Will the wings break once more
Before I touch reliefs shore?
Leila Valencia Jun 2017
Can it be held?

The moment. The determination. The moment above you, turned to dust.

The determination like arrows thrown your forehead....

How long does it last?
The fires turns to embers so quickly
The flame is blown - out.

A swirling, beating intensity like tribal drums
Will it be switched?
Passion

Can it last....
Can it sit...
for Eternity so you do not have to grasp for evaporating dust
Holding onto ones passion and desperately holding on.
Leila Valencia Apr 2016
When have you graced me with love

Look

Outside - you want yourself, you wait

And I sit in silence - I berate that day your lights filled the sky

Green lush mountains peak to the heavens singing ' my oh my - dreamers catchen the spirit tonight'

But I fall deep to dark ashes and rebirth into the lord Phoenix and become one

I no longer wait, I paint my skies with hues of lavender and peach

Maybe one day you will become one with me
Thinking about me constant dreaming. Really about realizing you don't wait for someone else. You need to find your self and feel content with yourself and then, just maybe something magical will happen.
Leila Valencia Jan 2016
My body does not speak on its own
Is it fair, I can not say
It does not think, but I will say
It can feel, the passion
Leila Valencia Apr 2016
Her chair by the grandfather clock
Creaked with ticking and tocking - a moment awaits
She grips her hands softly
Her furrowed brow creased and squinted a moments memory
The pillows of green lounged and her lover caressed her golden locks

1964

In memories of black and white his arms carried her
She carried him with her
In plushness, her cheeks puffed, her lips puckered
Her blue eyes gleaming vivaciously
As the waving goldness of yellow and orange waved back and forth
Leaning their backs towards the eye of the sun
The couple gleefully, held on to one another

Hours turned over into days - passing by time
They gripped tight on to eachother.
Moving in they moon danced to the stars
Sleeping in their hammock
Yet she felt him loosen with ease
The flower by their sink rotten and cumbled into oblivion
She cried for days yet they held on to each other

The mail man comes early today.....

She heard him cry
The foreboding of death crawled into their home, unexpectedly
The grim fate had him pulled him away
Cut loose and shield our touches - his departure to the battlefield

His flights leaves and time is the hourglass
She recalls the night of his departure vividly

6:34 - Fighting

6:41 - Screaming

6:45 - All of the kitchen ware is shattered

6:53 - Him gluing the parts together

7:00 - Making love

7:39 - Him walking down the street waving

7:45 pm - Lights out

Current Day

Every day sitting
Lights out
Sipping white wine in a tea cup - awaiting a knock

The slow creak of her door opens
Opens ever so slightly, yet she sees a tall shadow
She steps up, puts her cup down and sees someone
Leila Valencia Jan 2017
The tightest grip on a loose tether string

I want to lose control
Be in control
How can they happen twice - at once?

I feel you, I see you, and its pounding.
I'm pounding.
And I can't lose myself, I can't lose control.
Oh You -  and how I stand alone again.

And when I do, lose control, I lose you.
But I need to lose control to get you.

Do I know what to say, do?
How to act....
How to feel...
I want to stay away.
I want you to stay away.
Or I may lose control, and I mean control over my senses

Yet, I need to stop worrying about controlling you or me.
Controlling how I want everything to happen.
You to happen,
Me to feel

So let it flow, free fall, tumble and take its wave.
Tumble on the shore, and pull back into the current - once more, it splashes down on the wet sand
And each curvature in the wave is so different, pushed by wind, and shaped by geography
And each push and pull towards you, should flow
As I realize this, I may lose my grip

And release
When you feel so vulnerable around someone you have strong feelings for and you want to not feel this way because you hate the feelings of losing control of yourself and your emotions.
Leila Valencia Apr 2016
The sun hangs low
Hanging over your head
Touching your cheekbones
The darkness is pulling you back
The craters of the moon are as steel as stone
A shot in the dark
Nervous hands make this task not a lark
The fire in your heart pounds
Pulsating your veins, within your ears echoing a thumping sound

As you arch your back
Sweat trickles down your arms
Your mind goes blank, you’re ready to attack
Every breathe, the fire swirls
Igniting a spark of light into the dark, an apple appears

The sweetness of light will appear in every dark spot
As the arrow bounced through the darkness the apple shattered
Shattered light. The lightness will succumb to darkness.
A fight you should not fright.
Drawing an arrow towards your light, yet coming into darkness
Leila Valencia Mar 2016
Standing alone, surrounded
Outside a gas lamp - a flickering essence of mystery
A path.

Where it leads.
You choose not to know.
Rather walking inside
A step taken, nothing more
Inside - trapped, tied, tangled, knotted
Names you do not know
Faces glance
You change your name

Masquerade your personality with falsehoods
Shimmy in your dress
Chandeliers quiver to the gowns
Unkind fellows breathe to close
Gracing yourself
Caged with rules
Grappling with tradition
Patronized, condescending, and patted
Played with, passed, and mopped
A chess piece, a card
Your house of cards collapse

The glitter is gleaming in shades of red
Brown, green, and blue
Hiding from our shadows
Dancing in the glitter
Parading around the attraction of light
But masked our identity... With strands of gold

Gold plastered, masked, and molded on our face
Contemporary gold,
Will not ease the pain
The shadows envelopes your heartbeat
Stretching close to the ambilical chord to the light

Snap!
Every dream fades
All falls into deep darkness
Painful, deep shadows
Your face grusomely scalped
Scarred, scorched, with fear
The truth, rotted, fermented
All that rests is your masquerade gown, but now the moths got to it

Alone, when you are always surrounded
Thinking of what it's like to be lonely surrounded by many people. No matter where I go I always feel so alone no matter how much love is surrounding me.
Leila Valencia Jun 2016
Crushed under light
Observed minusculely
Contained, constricted
Hypnotize impatience, as one tears for the dark

Callous bites aimlessly
A wild animal one becomes
As if living in eternal light

Finally, time for crouching in the dark
But one is dreadfully fearing when the bright of light
Will reveal, displease, repulse

So they stay crouching quietly in the dark
Leila Valencia Aug 2016
Breathing, inhaling
The moments jumbled like pieces of scrap.
A  crisp summer's night growing into faintness... Electrify
Shivering in bliss, tempting in wander
Shocking veins with icy fire blending fear, and passion - in a single ...
Beat.

Thy past is your dream
your dream has not seen the night
Your dream will not draw its teeth
Your dream is a flash
And I will not pass by and let you ruin yourself.

What has become of this
Madness. Insane Rethinking. Dreaming
What you can not see is what you shouldn't
And what you do is your dreams desires.
Leila Valencia May 2016

You felt a way that forebodes what you'd dream to say

Half a year ago

You knew there was a way that would shine your senses on what you really needed

You conjured up a dream from what it seemed, but loosely meant nothing

Every passing moment in your mind, beginning to consume your everyday being - you must, you must saw it now!
Your crafted thoughts yearning for a gentle touch

You built your courage and weakened your pride
Boosted your esteem and loosened your stride
If this was it you'd ask now, but the wind caught them before a single hello passed my lips

My deranged delusions were capable of self destruction
It's far to late
My mind is incapable of seeing anyone else

My journal a year ago said ' can't wait to see where this goes '

Beside myself in a muddled despair
I wonder what life would be if I let go of my inner shackles and stood in the bright light
Bound to hear the truth
No more waiting
Wishing, dreaming

You must go - I will be gone for I know now
All I want in life will go
If I don't first attempt to reach - to risk the wounds, handle the scars
Stand in the mines of havoc and wasteland misery

And carry on
I wont be immune to the worst

Remind them, better days will come my dear
Holding on for to long. If you want someone or something please be honest

Last night
A quiet word...
was trembling
A touch....
hypnotized the senses

It was pitch black....
I went to the kitchen
I drank all I could find,
And slept in the garden.

Last night
I pulled flowers from the garden's ground
And clipped their petals...
It tasted like honey.

From that,

All blended into a kaleidoscopic metamorphosis.
Channels opened,
yet, I could not foresee the end
the world became a dome.
Immortal shape shifter's
danced restlessly...

When I awoke
There was dirt in my hands.
My mouth, had dirt.
I woke up covered in dirt.

But, I can only remember
how I drowned into an deep abyss.
The rest amiss.

In the depths, my outer self became less
In the future, I hope I do not grew thicker skin
Mind and body alterations
Leila Valencia May 2016
Dancing at waters edge
Alone, afar, a dream apart
Hypnotizing ripples, seemlisly
Blackened sky hangs, hopelessly

Its canvas unavoiding speckleded spots chuckle
You chuckle back - knowing your eyes have met their pieces of above

We need to find out what's right and
Say goodbye to these lies and

Now the ground is beating
Inside my chest
Now the mountain beating inside me

I feel like an empty cage waiting and wishing - wanting
Kissing life away

Please don't say
I'll always remember the day when you walked away

Can't you see
Can't you be
The neurotic psychopath waiting for his ****
Waiting and wishing at least you're kissing the one beside you
I'm not beside you

Can't confide in you
Find you

Deep inside me......
I can never be who I'm daring to be

Can't you see I'm afraid
Enough with this game
I'm tired of being made
Part of your game

I'm wasting myself away to you
During midnight. A punk rock song came on in my head. It was my own original song. I believe it's my deepest desires springing forth passionately and aggressively
Leila Valencia Feb 2016
It is the life you live
Dreams kept quiet
And thoughts beneath
If you speak are you silence
If you think are you talking
If you dream are you listening
Within and much without
A silence taken; it is all one
needs to rejuvenate

Transforming, changing, morphing, always cycling through life
Always thinking who we are and leaving what we once were
Knowing who we are
Forgetting who we are
Dreaming of our selves
Are we here?
Is this me?
Am I me, with you, where am I me?

Alone me
I find time to think with everything I have. I find that the waves will always look blue but they are always clear. Somethings will never change, but I know every night the stars get brighter.
I can't explain it, but every story, connection, formation, shines more light

I see my light beginning to shine.
Personal journey.

The lady by the sea
Solemnly gazing at the broken keys

Closing her eyes to hear the rise
The lady by the sea
Playing by silence

The waves wash in symphonies next to her keys
The lady by the sea
Grinning, chuckling, buckling, and shuffling next to me

The lady by the sea
Hidden by the reflecting moon light
In her corner, genius lay
In her corner, the shining day
In her corner, simplicity remains

In silence my memory claims
The lady by the sea
My piano teacher.

A casual smile is scary
Unsure of the moment I wanted to seem coy
Looking through dark leaves

They see me once more
this is okay

Unfolding pages of our folded selves
I easily unwrapped pages and poured wine

I Stood into the light and watched them blow rings around the moon
He stood slicked back as his body pooled into his car a certain kind of blackness
Dancing on our shadows of doubt and immediate relief
It was apparent this was a shot to the Trail
and I was gone
Meeting a couple by Trakas Trail (PV) in the night. They were in their early twenties and they were shooting their bee bee gun at signs.  I had a fun time chatting with them.

The sparkling galaxies lie within
Your mind is stuck on a glittering pin
Your shimmering elegance and enamoring presence wins the hearts of all
For fear lioness do not fall
Into the ego
Your pride taken by sips
Your eyes revealing eternal bliss
Your mind is one of a kind
Stepping in the appraisal - golden, green, glamorous
Your youthful gaze and childish ways don't rust
You puff and smile
We're drawn - taken
You create the most wonderful stars
We'll gaze at for eternity

Aesthetically tuned with the goddess
My curtains blow beauty in the small corners
The vines climb the tallest towers and I swing on chandeliers dancing, swishing, jumping high!
I reach and touch the lantern sky!

But underneath the glove lies an iron fist
With this my glittering charms turn to dusk
The attentive mind ruptures with jewels of intellect,
Standing in the light holding the glass container of justice!

My eyes come alive - I will stand against the balcony lifting the scales
The flower field of lavender petals stand next to my thoughts
The horse in the wind I seem to some, but until the end I will never stop to stand up
Watch my kingdom come

My lofty dreams drink your poison

The sermon hides all talk of lust

**** it!
Drown it!
Strangle it.

How can I ?
How must I ?

Do such tortuous actions
My conscious thinks of you in the mist

Closed doors.....

In hazy heights
Green mountains under the pitch black glow - wrapped in a single cloth
Breathing the puff smoke

I shut the door
Close the tailored book

Walk out in my fitted gown. Sunday school taught me repression

And my succession to my thoughts was one thing - action

Primed, pinned, and pointed to order
In orderly fashion
I defied my fathers crime

Created bedding to sleep on
Encrusted with words, " You're the creator of your own creation"

Finding.......
My chipped cross, crippled slipped underneath the crooked bed
Your lips were spongy delights of chaos I wanted to grip to
Diving in the pool naked felt like a temptuous sin
My guardian was me

I found you by the darkened pond bellowing and I gripped you
Casting my light
And you never said a word
But together we drank the blackened pond liquid
And scratched our skin with empty words, hoping we knew ......

We knew, what we were taking each other's hearts for.
A story of a young girl of a preachers daughter. Rebeling against his wishes. Learning to find her own voice. She goes against the norm, defies what she knows and is willing to take a risk to explore the life of deep passion and lust on levels that would rouse scorn and discontent

Now,
Listen.

CAn you?

Listen.

Plead to listen.
It’s yours
It’s always been yours

No one has such power
The voice inside

It pleads
It asks
It begs

It may shake you
_____

But - dont - forget —-
The power
The poWER
It’s all yours
It’s never going to leave you.

No matter how much you turn your cheek -
You push it;
Scream;
Claw;
Burn;

It will sit quietly
Closed
Eyes...
calmly

When you open your hands.....
It will say
..gently..
Quietly .........
...............Lovingly.

“Dear, I have been waiting for this my entire life”
Listening to the voice inside.

Candidly so,
I'm increased by you
Your love, presence and adoration

Have you came to me so
In beauty, trampled by ways
You can not live without me

Your woes do show
Am I yours - carefully written down
Unknown to you
I am

We've not formally met
Dreaming in your head

Stuck in time
Wailing
Pinching, wishing, and waiting
Wishing there was another way, but it seems like time is stuck in between your hands

And there is no trick to move forward
And as backward as I feel
Small
Crushed
And confused

I still think of your in fondness
