To think that you had fun with it

I'm fighting my fears now:
Fear was the one to cause it,
But I will answer how.

The nervous tension
Nail-biting fear, anxiety
And then the thrill! Yes!
Ah, and the adrenaline!
Over so quickly. Again.

I don't know
If I'm tired or depressed
But all I know
Is I don't want to leave my bed.

For every time I go astray

He despaired of it,
That the only innocence

i long for the day
when i actually have to tell someone, "go away"
i yearn to say
"leave me alone" but they stay with me anyway

An owl hooting
Right outside of my window
Makes my heart beat fast.

and all that remained
were memories that lingered
in the back of my eyes
and a tingle in my nose
that waited for the worst moment
to pounce.

So I finally saw Frozen
Okay, it's pretty fun
But I really don't see why it's gone
Crazy with everyone.

I really wish that
You had sewn in pockets. Why?
'Cause I love pockets!

Can't think anymore
If you would just let me go
Maybe I'd feel free.

Caffeine is a flame
That ignites my strangest thoughts
And makes me look weird.

Thoughts I entertain
Sometimes, they return by night
To haunt my black dreams.

There’s not much left to write about
Happiness and sadness are gone
Instead, I’ve traversed the subjects
And they all left me fighting a scream.

Anxiety’s clutched at my heartstrings
Dampening, muting their song
But now I’m going to break free
And dive into life headlong.

I’ll play videogames and write some poems
And do all the things that I miss
For while once this was time-wasting, never
Shall I waste a day anxious for this.

I guess anxiety’s got its perks, but
The one thing it gets me to do
Is work ‘till I have no more work, but
I had nothing to do at all, so I’m blue.

Day was bright and still
But they felt him in shadows;
Feasting upon souls.

He told me once, and I'll never forget
"If it's a guilt trip you need, then take it
But don't drag me in, as if it's the end,
And remember that life's what you make it."

I've broken that rule, oh, so many times
I've bent and abused it, too
But as long as I remember that I need His help
He loves me, and He's who I come back to.

I don't want to get up,
And go out into the cold, hard world...
The new tile floor at this house just chills me to the bone.

I thrive upon it,
And yet, it thrives upon me;
Grey muddle of life.

You use your commas
The way a Southern woman
Puts sugar in tea.

Goodnight world of light
I go to spend the dark night
Wastefully, on sleep.
I don't care what I don't do
Or don't accomplish; I sleep!

I ate too much food
America's a ninja
Suddenly you're full.

Got soap in my eyes
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow
It really hurts! Ow!

My oceans froze over
All my skies grew dark
But Your life sparked a fire
And Your hope warmed my heart.

Sometimes, if someone told me I lived in Candyland,
I'd agree because my music is so bubbly,
My outfit is so bright,
And my disposition is ecstatic.  Frankly.

They have power
that you'll never know about;
But I have more,
for I control their route.

I can't even think
Of what I should write, or say
I'm just so tired.

Spikes of pain are going up my arm
And my head is aching with some kind of alarm
They're all trying to tell me the one thing I know:
The inside and the outside of my body are COLD!~

His dark mood was calm
And with a look in his eyes
That spoke of patience.

Go away!* he said, Just leave!
I don't want you here anymore.
But she replied, Oh no, I won't,
And with her love, he soared.

You won't leave me be
Stealing my contentedness
Stop making me care.

Hidden to all eyes,
You searched only to be seen
And to be noticed.

When I first met you
You were always in purple
With the slightest blue.

Take it into your own hands,
Take responsibility;
Grab the tiller, make your plans,
But you wouldn't if you were me.

A diamond is made 
From pressure and stress 
The carbon and heat
Create hardness

From ashes to beauty
Just dirt purified
From hard circumstances 
And persistence combined 

A diamond withstands
The harshest force
It's cut by itself
From the initial coarse

Nothing can scratch
Nor its perfection mar
And from its hard ordeal
It bears no scar

It is the strongest substance
Won't bend or even give
No heat, impact, or tension
All else it will outlive 

Diamonds are an image
They serve as a display 
For something that's much harder
And endures through any pain

Diamonds worn around the finger
Bound to a golden ring
Represent the marriage pact
That outstands everything

Love that never, ever fails
Love that keeps its word
Love that lasts throughout the storm
Love that's tested sure

A diamond shines for all to see
It glitters in the light
And the love that's in the heart
Shines in the blackest night.
