Faith
Guden Aug 2022
In the vacuum of that kiss,
Those hugs
At all the terminals
Of farewells.

In that void
What you be to me,
Lost in traducción,
Is transformed
In adiós.

Our bond
Of foods
And looks.
Smiles and rubs.
Is gone.

You're not in my day,
I don't wait for you on Sundays
I don't think of you
Dancing
At the rink,
At the club,
In my arms.

Entre emociones
Divididas
No te hagas responsable
De las mías,
Demasiada empatía
Es peligrosa.

No more prayers
Guden Jul 2022
The gods and the universe
Took a three year giant **** on me
And that's not my kink
The excuse of my emotions
The reality of someone else in your bed
A deja boo
My prayers were answered
With a mock
Leaving me soft
Vulnerable
Eventually numb
The moon is my enemy
The dream was a nightmare.

(W)hole
Guden Jun 2022
Sometimes I look at you,
And love runs through my veins.
A love that that brings energy
For my brain,
My muscles,
My spirit.
Sometimes I look at you,
And I don't understand,
What you're doing here,
With me,
Why you love me
So broken
Beyond repair.
Sometimes I look at you,
And I want to drag you
To this hole I'm living in,
Perhaps that way
I won't be so lonely
Perhaps that way
You'll feel what I feel
And discover
You'll be better off somewhere else.

Gato Tuerto
Guden May 2021
Un gato tuerto que mira
Desde una pandereta,
Desdén en su rostro.
A un lado camina un perro
Policial,
Un hombre policial también.
Tuerto el gato
No distingue profundidad,
No hay diferencia entre el perro
Y el hombre que camina,
Insolente,
Indolente,
Por un barrio que no es suyo
Ningún barrio le pertenece
Si defiende
A los ricos.
Y esos ricos
No lo quieren cerca suyo,
Preocupado de su vida arreglada,
Acomodada y maldita,
Malditos siempre.
En la pandereta
Mira el gato
Con un ojo,
Bajo él, los rayados
Nos recuerdan que como este gato
Hay muchos
Muchas,
Para el resto
Tener dos ojos
Es un privilegio.
Para los perros
Policiales,
El privilegio es no tener corazón.

Muffled anthems
Guden May 2021
Muffled sounds of laughter
At a clandestine gathering
Fourteen floors down the hill
The music stopped so the cops don't show up
They are seldom invited
That's why they are so bitter
Against people who are having fun
Yet the laughter continues
Old jokes are chanted like ancient anthems
Laughter is old and new

The stench and the breeze
Guden Nov 2019
A tiny breeze
Cleans the stagnant air
Around my bedroom.
I thank the gods
Nobody comes closer to me,
So they cannot smell
The stench of *****,
Unwashed masses of hair.
A breeze that brings
The smell of tear gas,
I sense the protesters
Didn’t want to leave.
Now the smell
Of live death
Fades away
Mixed with scents
Of freedom and dignity.
I wish I was there
I used to be clean,
I used to move around,
When routines kept me going
Instead of being petrified
By the following day;
I used to be useful
Or so I’ve heard.

Bed
Guden Nov 2019
Bed
Why am I rooted to this place?
Invisible strings
Don’t let me get up
Until I *******,
Just a tiny amount of dopamine
To escape from bed,
From death.
I make plans
Everyday
To avoid being stuck.
Yet my mind
Holds the reigns
So I will not
Get out of bed
Ever again.

How can I sleep?
Guden Oct 2019
How can I sleep?
When there’s a railroad
Inside my window
Near my amygdala,
When music plays
On television.
How can I sleep?
When she keeps saying
She misses me,
Yet I don’t know
What this means.
How can I sleep?
If there are blue screens
Denying
Melatonin,
In the morning it kicks in.
How can I sleep?
If the song
Has not ended
Nor will it stop
In the near future
Since I paid
For no commercial breaks.

When the wind blows
Guden Oct 2019
When the wind blows
Through the drapes,
Half open.
A breeze
Comes from somewhere
To play with the smoke.
On the table
There is incense
Going up in essence.
The radio keeps talking,
And screaming
At me,
Laughing
With me?
My imaginary friends
Would call me paranoid
If I had any.

Spring
Guden Jul 2019
I was born in Summer
Almost at the end of it,
I have forgotten the warmth
Of the Sun.
Autumn has been my life,
Most of it
With fallen leaves
Clogging the sewers,
Flooding
The streets of my story.
I’m in Winter now,
Ice and snow
Cover the doorway,
I  would say this may be the reason
Nobody visits,
Yet it is impossible for me to go out either,
It seems.
I wish I could see Spring,
I have heard marvelous things of it.
I imagine what it is like
To enjoy a cold breeze
While the Sun is warm.

Your silence
Guden Jul 2019
Your silence
Drives me crazy,
Yet everything drives me crazy,
You are just one
Of everyday things.
Like the song that is in my head
Since this morning,
Over and over
Again.
I hate it, I hate you.
Your silence deafening my ideas
Making despair seem real.
I’ve learned to live with madness
In and out,
Love and hate,
Cats and dogs.
Madness of silence,
It doesn’t let me sleep;
The loud noise
Of my mind
Burning in flames of oblivion,
Indifference.
If you go quiet, I can’t hear myself
I don’t perceive,
Nor do I breathe,
I only hope hopelessly
For the silence
Of your voice
To end.

Thank you notes
Guden Jun 2019
With ink and skin
We write thank you notes.
We are thankful
And blessed.
We are destroyed
And built again
At the end of a long flight
While our flags look remarkably similar.
Same colors;
Stars that start
To fade away.
Like the scent
On my lips
Of your neck.
Absence makes the heart grow bitter,
Fonder of hatefulness
Scared by the scars of our love.
Machines translate our emotions,
Into data
Yet life goes on
As it should
Not for me though
Thank you
Spelled backwards is goodbye.

Woman 1 (just a child)
Guden Sep 2018
The first one was when I was six,
She was four.
We used to hide
Behind cars and kiss,
We just opened our mouths
Pressed them together.
We were the youngest of brothers
Sisters.
We tried to copy the elders
By being a couple.
Alone in a room
We kissed,
I took off my shirt,
Didn’t know what else to do.
We were so young,
Adults laughed at our behavior.

The boy who lived
Guden Sep 2018
A videogame told me to be a dictator,
A great warrior.
Reality wanted me to be a great thinker,
A doer,
Someone who's not afraid
Of the shadows of a lamp.
Mother told me to clean my room
And get a woman
Who's nice,
Like her
Towards her.
Father told me nothing
As I waited for my brother;
When he hated all,
Dad saw me
Too late.
The tv told me many things
And here I was,
Like the beans of all flavors,
Said Harry.
Compared to his life
Mine is a trip.

A Day in paradise
And I can no longer write
Meaningful sentences,
It's like I need some suffering,
Some cold weather,
Being surrounded
By dead-eyed people
To express,
To write
Emotions and ****.
If everyone is happy
Poetry disappears.
Silly humans,
Said an alien
Trying to understand
Why wars,
Why pain,
Why Poe or Shelley
Or Buk.
Why?
If they could just live
In the middle of the planet
And be happy.

Sand
Guden Jun 2018
I find myself
A shell of a man
She sells sea shells
Didn't want to be for sale
The shell turns slowly
To sand.
In a distant beach
I saw the silhouette
Of two lovers,
Their feet naked
On the sand
That was shell
Of a man.
I find myself caring
For seconds
On real things,
Not hours
Not forever
Not even sand.

Snore
Guden Dec 2017
Traffic flows like a river,
At night.
A river broken by the snoring
And some lose words.
She didn't want to eat,
She'd rather snore,
Expelling the demons
Of a long week at work.
We need a priest,
Maybe a shaman,
I think I'm a witch doctor,
But I don't mess with someone who's sleeping
So sound
With such noise,
Snore.

Vapors
Guden Dec 2017
I live in a world of vapors,
Nothing is tangible,
No thing can be grasped.
I grabbed you and you me,
Hand in hand we went together through the steam,
The air,
The gas that is this world.
We let go and couldn't find each other again,
Our bodies could,
But in the world of vapors that wasn't enough,
I was your liebe,
Someone else is now.
You refused to live in this intangible world,
I couldn't follow you to the world of money,
Credit cards,
Trips in my car,
I don't have a car.
I remain alone in this unclear world,
Trying to kidnap someone,
Destined to always be
Nothing more than a ghost.

Red
Red,
And you move around
Your bedroom
Naked.
Red,
Down between your legs
On your head
In my mouth.
Red,
And I get a taste of you
Breathing in your breathing out.
Red,
And we touch
I lick
Every part
Not covered in clothes,
We're naked.
Red,
And morning comes
The room gets heated
Is it the sun?
Is it the fire in your hair?
Between your legs?
Red.

She bit me
Guden Nov 2017
I met a woman through the air,
She listened,
So did I.
She looked at me
Between three bottles of wine,
We smoked cigarettes,
We sat on stairs,
In squares,
And talked to the people that passed by.
She bit me
When she was smelling my neck.
We walked through the city
Hand in hand,
Fingers intertwined,
Talking about dead parents,
Live ones,
She wanted to believe what I said
And she did,
So we kissed
Passionately,
Our souls wept as our tongues met.
I left her when the night was ending
I don't know if the songs I heard were real.

Tombstone
Guden Nov 2017
There's a rock
In the ocean
Which I envy,
It's like a tombstone.
A rock that's not always covered
By the Pacific ocean,
It plays with the motion
Of the waves,
Holding its breath
When the water comes,
Like a child going through a tunnel.
Life grows on the rock,
Kelp that help
Holding to the smallest cracks,
Like a bumblebee
Trapped in a web
Heating up in the sun.

Scottish time travelers
Guden Nov 2017
Some people live their lives in a slumber,
Eyes fixated on the shows
That show
People living fake lives,
Killing zombies,
Being criminals,
Scottish time travelers
For Christ's sake.

Some eyes look at reality,
Real people
Being fake,
Acting like they wish they were,
But they aren't.

Some people
Don't look at anything,
They have lost their ability
To be amazed
By the tricks of a magician,
Tired of being mesmerized.

I tend to like myself
When beer
And *****
Race through my body,
I can spend more time
With my thoughts,
If I'm cheered by the spirits
Of old yiest
Of old potatoes,
Fermented
Fragmented
A granade,
Two are brought,
In a very happy hour
It's time to be happy.
I'm fond of old me
When I'm happy,
I tend to be more honest
With myself
And with others,
That's why I only lonely drink
Alone.

Guden Nov 2017
I'm still uncertain when I have to help others.
My mind tells me secret things
About them.
Sometimes I escape people,
I look away,
Like the Germans did
Towards the campus,
A university
Of injustice.
They thought they were smarter
Than Einstein.

Sometimes children
Acting out,
Teenagers being stood up,
A friend supporting another.
I have an imaginary friend,
He tells me those secrets,
And some wicked ones,
He makes me thirsty,
He makes my brain dry.
The teen doesn't know it yet,
He'll never be more than just a friend.

Get out
Guden Oct 2017
A knock on my door
Tells me I'm not dead,
I've been hours laying on this couch
Watching the curtain going back and forth,
I thought I was dead,
Unconscious,
Waiting.
I get up as quickly as I can towards the door,
It takes me a minute
To travel the infinite space
That separates me from it,
From you.
One minute or one week,
I've been dead for so long
That time in itself is not.
I open the door and it's you,
Of course,
With your killer smile,
Your intelligent look.
And you come in without saying a word,
Without taking your eyes from mine.
You sit in that couch
Where I was dead
An hour, a month.
I sit next to you,
Nervous,
Only you have that power
Over my nerves.
You talk to me,
You tell me your story,
I can't stop looking at those eyes,
I listen, wanting to kiss you,
And I do, but you don't respond to my kiss,
You act annoyed?
Amused?
Mysterious.
You keep talking
As if that kiss had never happened,
I look at you, I think I've died again,
I'm more nervous than before,
I want you gone,
But I'll follow you anywhere.
You talk about the men who love you,
A bunch of nervous fellas,
They worship you,
So do I.
You keep talking,
I can see in your eyes that you want me,
I don't trust those eyes,
I don't trust myself when you're around.
I come near and whisper two words in your ear,
Get out.

Misinterpretation
Guden Oct 2017
The engine of the world
Runs on gasoline,
Biological creatures
Live and die to fuel the endless spinning.
Speaking has made us forget how to communicate,
The way cats do,
But words tend to linger
And I hate,
I escape emotional contact,
In an effort to love
Anyone.
Pointless it seems,
A bit contradictory as well,
Since no one can communicate
Effectively,
So we get lost in the translation
From ideas to words.
These words transmit a disease of misinterpretation
Lucky people those who escape my unhealthy affection.
While the world keeps spinning
Like a ship caught in a maelstrom.

The smell of your armpit appears in my memory,
Your mouth after countless cigarettes,
Some tobacco,

That musk around your belly button
And the smell of waking up with sour kisses,

Future expressions
Guden Oct 2017
You don't feel real being with me,
Without me,
In the distance,
Of a kiss.
We don't want future,
But the present
Of you
And I
Tastes good,
As it should taste,
You know?
What do I know anyway,
But you're real,
As much as I am.
Only lonely I imagine
A future,
That's not real,
Between expressions,
And the present
Disappears between meaningless words,
It fades away when I try to reach it,
It drains through my soul,
Between the grooves of my brain
Leaving me empty handed,
Struggling with the balance of having you,
Now,
For ever,
Never.
We get lost,
Between kisses and fears,
Unfinished plans,
Unkept promises,
Predictions and intentions
Only future expressions.

Lost in blue

A blue eyed woman stabbed me with her eyes,
She was asking for some help,
A ring was stuck in her finger.
Many volunteered to assist,
Many failed.
I avoided those knives
Eyes,
I didn't want to get stabbed again,
Until I got lost in the blue.
I can't stop looking at the ocean
On a clear day.
So I offered assistance
To remove the band
From her hand
And replace it with another one,
But she laughed
And left.
Stabbed again,
Bleeding out,
I will never learn,
If only I was color blind.

But the wine says otherwise,
So I say kiss me again,
Yet you tell me you're not ready,
For I haven't said you're beautiful enough,
I don't say another phrase,
Nor do I try a different approach,
I remain true to what I read from you
Towards me,
I might be wrong,
It wouldn't be the first time,
I daresay neither the last.

The bridge
Guden Oct 2017
I cross the same bridge everyday,
There are always the same people,
With their different purposes,
Or is it the same?

Today I saw God begging for a coin,
On the bridge.
Nobody looked at him,
I guess they were mad,
So was I.

I came to God and slapped his face,
He understood and didn't fight back,
I hit him for everything,
Like an ant that escapes from the farm,
After several minutes I remembered that I don't believe in God,
Not this guy with a beard anyway,
So I stopped and continued my way.

I returned for a last punch in the face,
Just in case.
This reminded me of my first fight with Tyler.

You took my watch
Guden Oct 2017
I'm stuck in an elevator
Between floors
I can't remember if it was going down,
Up,
Maybe sideways,
I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
I'm stuck in this lift,
Alone,
I've always been alone.
Ten years ago I thought I was,
You convinced me otherwise
Now you're gone,
Moving up,
Or down,
With somebody else.
And I'm stuck,
Between floors,
With myself.
You told me in the end I was terrible company,
Now I know,
It's true.
I don't know that person
Looking back at me
In that mirror
In a lift,
That is stuck
Between floors,
Maybe 9 and 10,
Both are my lucky numbers,
Not anymore.
I've been trapped in this cabin
For hours
Perhaps days,
I'm not sure
You took my watch.

And old mister purple can rest.

So delicious,

We buy it from markets
And eat it as our daily bread.

Until I meet someone else,
It's all *******.
