there she was .. running wild ...
on a dirt covered path .. in the middle of nowhere,
bare feet .. bruised knees
tears flowing down her chin ..
leaving marks on her dirt covered cheeks ...
wind converting her long black curls in a knotted mess,
her ragged breathing shattering the night's silence...
her heart going wild in her chest
pumping blood to her aching legs ...
moonlight failing badly at healing her bleeding heals,
her voice was now merely a whisper
because of all the screaming and pleading
she had done ...
her eyes fixed on the light laced shadow ..
moving away from her ...
step by step ...
inch by inch ...
she stopped ... mid way ... tired ...
watching the shadow with half lidded eyes ....
please don't ... her lips trembled.
don't leave me ... she pleaded ignoring all the pain stemming from her wounds and
the agony her heart was pumping in her system,
her hand reaching out to shadow ...
standing on the verge of breaking, silence heard the words ... "for the sake of love" ...
and it was then ...
the girl witnessed the shadow's smile ...
and night heard the last beat of a golden heart.

She kept her emotions
under her head
ignoring always
whatever heart said

she let her brain lead
cause she had a fear
that she'll get hurt
if she lend heart an ear

she had seen people
who followed their hearts
and ended up broken
with the ugly scars

she decided to do
what she deemed wise
locking her heart alone
muffling it's cries

her brain eased the pain
as her heart bled
changing it's color
to pitch black from red

she witnessed her failure
and soul falling apart
she could do nothing
as she was cursed by heart.

"I am sorry."
She whispered, pain swirling in her brown eyes.
She wrapped her arms a little more around herself as she spoke.
"Let me go" silent plea written in her glass covered eyes.
He could see guilt eating her up, for being the reason of his pain, his emptiness...
warm black eyes starred deep into brown ones,
letting the decisive moment take over.
In the split second he realized he needed to let her go...
taking a deep breath,
he tried to feel the excruciating pain
that would stem from his bleeding heart but to his surprise he felt nothing.
She watched his warm eyes turning into icy ones,
thick walls starting to rise around his bleeding heart.
She felt her heart twist in her chest
In that moment she realized he would let her go.
But she will always be entrapped in those deep eyes which are now covered with thick ice.

he was the only one
to return successful
from the voyage
set to discover the lost soul
of the mystery girl.
about his adventure,
he would write a story every night.
the story that had a part of her soul.
every morning,
she'd read his story
to collect the part of her soul
and place it at the right place.
unknowingly,
he was completing her,
solving her mystery,
ending her charm,
opening the ways
that lead to her door,
making her just another
ordinary girl.
The only thing she had feared
the most !!

And when light wind blowing
adds to the flavour of a summer
night ...
Half moon shining and thousand
stars smiling
trying their best to
light up the clear night sky
Fireflies twinkling high in the trees ..
Dancing to the music played by
cricket hiding somewhere in long
grass ...

When the darkness sets in
and you let it consume you
it feels like falling;
falling in a bottomless hole,
and under its pulling force
you feel your demons stirring
finding a way
to get out
and to take over ...
Clawing your soul from inside
getting restless,
causing pain,
so you just decide to
unleash them
and let your demons out
for a HUNT !!

God and Me (translation)
drown in the depths of soul
and never resurface
I was set to find myself
yet ended up finding God
My soul is caged
in confinement of my body
break the lock
So I can find myself

misapprehended by the world,
she was the outcast
trying to survive life
her only lifeline were
the words of her stranger
that he gifted her
every day
then one day,
his words abandoned
her soul
leaving it all alone
in the middle of
a barren desert
under the blazing sun
to be scorched, wither and  die ...
Housing the grave
of her dead soul with in
she was then
the desolated remains
of what
she was once !!

Sitting on the rocking chair
in the dark corner
of his dimly lit study
with gaze transfixed
on the steam rising
from the coffee mug
he rolled cigarette
between his fingers
caressing his forehead
with other hand
he put the cigarette
between his lips
and
inhaled the bitter smoke
with a hope that
it will be the antidote
to her memories
poisoning his soul
cigarette after cigarette
pack after pack
inhaling, exhaling...
Drowning himself
in the greyness of smoke
to the world outside,
he was nothing
but an addict
but little did they knew
that it was his only way
to save himself
to build the thick wall
of acrid smoke
between him and her ...

"I am lost." She said,
"You can't be, you were like the guiding star." He argued.
"I was, but then you came along
Your questions, like a moon, raised tides in the calm seas of my soul,

calmed those thrashing waves,
and in the stillness of the moment,
i got lost at the shore of your heart !!" She sighed.

He was a man
with a happy face
people always trying
to be him
He was a charmer
for the world
a perfect husband
for his wife
a hero and a teddy
for his daughter
he knew the trick
to make them smile
but little did they all know
He was a man with Masks
and he knew to use them well
It was only Him,
his demons
and his diary
who knew
the Real Him !!

I picked up my pen
deciding to write,
an autumn poem,
cause it feels so right

staring on page
i thought and thought
failing badly cause
the words were lost

the words that were left
were all brown and red
i checked for ideas
they were already dead

i asked my mind
to give me a reason
he simply said
its the autumn season !!

Sitting on the floor
in a dark pitch room
curled up in a corner
spining her cocoon
blocking out the world
feeling so safe
to get her walls up early
she picked up new pace
once the work was done
she let out a sigh
they were the harsh words
that made her to keep the walls high!!

He let, his soul, loose
purposefully
to get lost in the
dark alleys
of forbidden land
wandering
with nowhere to go
searching
for his missing pieces
leaving behind
nothing
but a faint trace
of his scent mixed with hope
in the acrid air
hope...
that someday
someone will actually
make an effort
to find his lost soul
and make him
complete.

Her heart
was like
an ancient book
burried deep in
the golden sand of
the forbidden tomb,
hidden in a barren desert...

He was so determined
to find that heart...
after years of hardship
He found her heart
not interested in decoding
the inscript,
he never tried to read
or understand the book,
and just kept that heart
as a trophy ...

Far away,
in another land
lived an archealogist
who through his whole life
only learnt to decode
the ancient script
only to read that book
but was coward enough
to never start the journey
so he just lived there
longing for her heart...

He wanted to be found
and to never get discovered
He wanted to be solved
using an equation
that no one could ever
figure out
He wanted to be an answer
no mind could ever
fathom
He wanted to be sorted out
so that he'll be an
organized mess
He wanted to be known
by the world
without they knowing
who he is
He wanted to make her
fall for him
with her heart oblivious
of this fact
He wanted to be a fact
yet to remain a mystery !!

She tried
to paint pain
on the canvas
but failed
cause..
sometimes the pain
must only
be felt
and not portrayed !!

Black coffee
running in her system
was the only thing
keeping her warm
as the cold wind
continued to
mercilessly strike against
her body
and its bitter taste
lingering on her taste buds
helped her to mask
the bitterness of memories
that eroded her soul
as she stood there
on her balcony on a
winter eve.

"Because my heart says so"
was enough reason for him
but not for her,
because in her life
she had witnessed,
change of hearts
and had seen
souls turning into ashes
and
dead people walking
wearing hollow smiles !!

Once again
i'm here
to blow off the steam
to mould my thoughts
into words famothable
to clear my mind
from all crap
that reality has managed
to put in
I dont know
what to write
or how to write
the only thing i know
is that
i have to write
to keep my sanity intact...

love is a strange emotion,
it blesses the soul with wings..
giving it the right to fly free in the vastness of mid-night sky
while it keeps the heart prisoner ...
it touchs the soul like
September breeze caresses
the dew touched flowers
while setting heart ablaze !!

I sometimes feel like ocean
lonely, deep and blue ...
What tomorrow will bring
not having a single clue

whether it will be calm
or if i'll suffer from strom
if moon will raise the tides
or there will no change in form

when people tell their secrets
i listen to their tales
like ocean receive the waters
and help the sailors sail ...

And when i get so tired
i want to talk to friend
like waves come to shore
in a hope that he'll mend

but then realization hits
there is no friend of I
like ocean stands alone
till the day it's dry !!

Sometimes ...
Its best
to let go
to fall apart
to shatter
to brun down
to ashes
but
then it's bestest
to rebulid
to rise
to put things together
piece by piece
beautifully
removing the ugly bits
remolding,
reconstructing..
to make melody
out of sorrow
and
smile out of pain !!

Her smile was
warm enough
to thaw his
frozen heart.

"You've invaded silence of my thoughts"
She sighed.
"Is that bad?" He asked, confused.
"Only to the extent
that i can't be alone anymore." She answered.

as the night thickened,
there she was
standing in her balcony
facing city lights
listening to the screams of
dying words
as she was unable to pen them down
all because of him !!
she watched her demons dance merrily
as they fed on her fear of
feeling the emotions,
she had promised never to feel.
emotions that he had stirred
back to life.
emotions that could break the walls she had built,
emotions that could make her open the doors she had locked long ago !!

turn air
more acrid
starting a chain reaction

with so much precision
that people could see

but failed
coz it felt like no word in
dictionary
could do justice to what
i feel for you...
or describe how i see you
or tell what you mean to me

and i know they are not enough

She was just a random girl,
but a bit different from you.
Glittering eyes, Lovely smile
but from inside she was blue.
Where the life was taking her,
she did not had a clue.
Ignoring what her brain says
her heart tells what to do
No matter what the matter is
she'll help her friends get through
always longing for glamorous
world
her wishes grew and grew...
She was the girl with thousand
wishes
Hoping they'll come true ...

Rain
adding flavour to darkness..

falling softly on her window glass..
Sitting by her window
watching the steam rising from her tea cup
listining to the soft background music
played by the falling rain drops
a sigh escaped her lips
causing the mercury to drop down a bit more!!

of soul as they strike
against the high walls
built to keep them
within,
Turning deaf ear
to the inner chaos
she wore a smile
and
became the part of **crowd

"You are insane"
they make sure to
remind me this
every single day

"i know" and smile
is the only reply
i come up with
every single day

it hurts now
more than yesterday
the agony grows
every single day

someone tell them
just to stop
don't make me, hate me
every single day

i feel left out,
can't find the strenght
to smile and shine
every single day.

Every heart desires peace,
some seek it in sacred places
and some in solitude
for some it lies in dark nights
for some in morning sun
some look for it in scribbled words
and some in melodious rhythms
some search for it in water depths
and some in empty skies
Some find it by helping others
while some in risking lives
some find it in the blink of eye
and some keep yearning till the day they die !!

"i'll save you, always." his voice was full of emotions, as he drowned in the depth of brown irises in front of him.
"No you can't...
you can't always save me" the flakes of darkness tainting her angelic voice brought him back in time
and it was when he realised
she was right.

when you crave a friend
who'd listen to

and give a soft smile
letting you know
that you are understood
in a way
