Life in science terms.
If a burning, exothermic-reactant ball of gas can emit light that travels at 3×10^8 m•s^-1,

Why can't you emit the hope that you experience endothermically even when your ∆H is a negative?

Why do you have to be so selfish as to favour an endothermic reaction instead of being exothermic and being like the sun - shedding your hope onto others?

Since we have chemistry, can we not meet at chemical equilibrium?

"He's my whole heart"
Unaware of what you're saying
You show affection
Unaware of the depth of your words
You open yourself to danger

The function of the heart is to pump blood through your body
It allows you to live
Breathe

But
If your heart becomes toxic
You no longer
Live
Breathe
Easily

Beware of the threats of choosing hearts
They can be detrimental to your everything or sometimes beneficial.

where is my dagger
all my struggles
all my attempts
are useless

continually
i plead with you to understand
that you are beautiful

i try to explain that you are beautiful
but there is always something
always someone better
that miraculously steals all your beauty just because they are beautiful
!??

i wish i could take a dagger
stab myself
and use my blood to paint
"YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL"
-
on every doubt you have
on every wall that you have built around yourself
on anything that can fit 3 simple words
that basically mean
-
listen

heard it before
?
i call you that every time
now believe me already

Art.
An artist paints a masterpiece.
Uses colour to represent intention and desire.
A highly detailed piece of art becomes his centrepiece,
his everything.

Occasionally he drops colour all around him.
Every colour at his disposal becomes mixed and splattered.

What has been used to create you is now the substance of new imagery;
A new art piece created on the floor called:
'A representation of my feelings for you'.

Stroke by Stroke
Swimming without assistance,
Progressing - stroke by stoke.

Gently moving along the surface,
Barely scratching the depths.

Stroke by stroke, I become stronger and more confident.
Stroke by stroke, I pound and penetrate the water.
Stroke by stroke, I overcome my previous position.

Each stroke like torture
Ripping myself out and falling back in,
Allowing the water to take a hold of me once again.

The water symbolised my struggles and insecurities.
A never-ending and already lost war,
I was battered, stroke by stroke.

Autumn
She's falling apart
She's discolouring
She's being stripped of her mask
She's revealing herself

The previously strong and content female
Is now bare.
What was once coated in sugar with an incomprehensible bitter taste
Is now unveiled.

Her soul now radiates to the world;
She experienced her autumn-season.

Eyes like stars
Stars that shine brighter than a burning fire.

I get lost in your eyes,
Yet stars give direction
Directions to your heart.

Diluted
The flood left a cavity.
It came in without mercy,
It removed and ripped what I held onto,
It took away what I loved,
But it's ironic that a flood of love removed all the love that I ever had.
The flood diluted it's impurities with my purities.

Kalon
Something as cold as snow can still be beautiful.
Look at the human race;
The surface looks like that of purity and divinity,
But beneath lies a cold-hearted lack of empathy.

Stories have now become lies
Love has now become a weapon

The path hidden beneath the snow has now become a trap for many to follow and fall into.
Kalon: beauty that is more than skin-deep.

If the stars have purpose
If the darkness has purpose

If even the most potent tenebrosity has purpose, why don't you?

Impure Beauty
Paint your sky in the colour you choose.
Decorate it with the patterns you choose.
Compromise it in the way you choose.
Add defects that beautify your creation.

A broken heart symbolises newly gained intellect and maturity.
Your impurities define your beauty.

What if beauty was preserved?

Will it still carry the same significance?
Will preservatives slur her growth?
Will she still become who she was destined to be?
Will her natural beauty be enough to deny any need of preservation?

Vandalised Heart
Society continually asks about relationships;
How many you've had, how many you've faked.
Society constantly asks about affection;
Whether you've expressed affection or not.

Society never asks how many times love lead to heartbreak;
What you undeservedly deserved.
Society never asks if you're okay;
Whether you're living positively or whether you feel like just another brick in the wall, waiting to be vandalised and demolished.

God's Plan
How do I know if it's true love?
Do I risk heartbreak or risk living without love?

Do I focus on the things of above?
Do I just persue the person I love?

What if I love He who lives above, but also the person who lives amongst us?
What if my values tell me to prioritize the above?

Is there an inbetween?
Is there a halfway point where we could meet?

Can you just become an angel so that I can believe that you are the one?

River
Let the tears flow like a river,
A river of regret and pain.
Let them fall and weave down your face,
past your cheeks and down your neck.
Drench yourself in tears.

Empty yourself of all hurt and pain.
Suffocate every scarring memory.

Add a waterfall to the end of your river.
Force the pain all the way to the the edge.
Bully the regret over the edge.
Watch your pain and regret fall.
Watch them as they disappear downstream.

They're dead.
They're gone forever.

Guns n Roses
Fatal weaponry along with a symbol of love,
but what love is to ****?
Deadly decisions made by a person jealous of love,
but what's there to gain if you **** the one you love?
Traumatizing scenes wreck havoc within the family,
but why do this to the family of the person you love?

Death.

The beautiful soul of a human being completely starved of the substance to life.
The delicate heart made to suffer because of your jealousy.
The intelligent mind punished for wisely not choosing you.

Love.

The funeral - largely decorated in roses.
Each and every couple left distraught.
Trust in relationships rapidly declining.

The rose - widely used to portray love,
but from now on it will be fearfully avoided due to the meaning you've placed on "love".

What is synonymous with accusations?
Escalation of your heart rate.

Peaceful symphonies
Graceful symphonies
Deeply resonating in my soul
Soothing the inner me

The rhythm captivating me
Consuming all my strength
Making me weak
Moulding the inner me

Then silence came

I was left alone.
Alone - without external support

My soul needed life again
The rhythm had brought me life

It was her heartbeat
Her heartbeat orchestrated my life
She was my life

Hold me with pride.
Keep me with passion.
There's no need to cry,
But I'm not leaving in any ordinary fashion.

Release me with sorrow.
Allow me to be who I am.
I might see you tomorrow,
But if you're not okay with it, I am.

My hands got tired of holding on.
My nails ripped through your flesh.
You can go listen to a sad song
Because I sacrificed it all to hang on.

You possess nothing, but beauty.
You possess nothing, but love.
You have everything, but self love.

You receive endless praise, but still you don't believe.
You are the definition of purity, but still you keep your inaccurate opinion.
You get all the credit in the world, but still you don't accept who you really are.

You are you - not the you that you define yourself as, but the one that you really are.

Hope as a Light
A glimmer,
A glimmer of something.

Obscured vision,
Justified by your intensity.

Your light,
Piercing the darkness.

Man made objects
Try to cause you to waver,
But nothing can stop you from the favour.

Similar objects
Cannot compare,
Nothing out there is anywhere as fair.

Should you die - the glimmer would too...
Then I would not know how to find my way out of the darkness that I have consumed.

You make me want to cover myself,
hide myself,
abuse myself.

All that you can see are my eyes;
Looking out for where you are,
Hoping that you'd stop.

You make me want to give you a blank canvas,
so that you can paint me in the way you want me to be - I want to live to be myself, you can live with your own version of me.

You've used me
and now my love for you feels second hand,
just like the way you've treated me as your only other option.

Feels
Feelings have power.
Enough to ****** hearts,
Enough to break you apart.

Feelings create love.
Enough to pollute your soul,
Enough to cause the death of you as a whole.

Feelings form cliffs.
Enough to surround you with holes,
Enough to cause you to fall.

Heart and Soul
I offer myself as bait to those who eat souls for breakfast.

I offer myself as a toy to those who want to kick me.

Paper Planes
Our childhood's prime game;
Creating a paper plane.
Making it fly high,
But it never reached the sky.

We would continue to raise the bar,
But still we wouldn't get very far.
We would trust a redesign,
But never anything different from our own design.

We would work soley for ourselves;
To keep the success to ourselves.
We would spend all day redesigning a paper plane,
But never on redesigning our life's shame.

We live for a paper plane
And its thrill - day by day.
We would accept our life's flaws,
But never our paper plane's flaws.

We would live for irrelevant people and objects,
But never for our own salvation.
We would live with a self-opinionated attitude,
But why do we now live with our opinion based on that of the world?

We live like a paper plane;
Flying high, just to be redesigned.
The world never helps us stay sane
As we're always seen as a failed design.

suicidal love
love pollutes the soul
forcing us to make assumptions
and forcing us to make sacrifices
all for one goal - love

love intoxicates our minds
forcing us to make the incorrect decisions
and forcing us to say words we never meant
all for one goal - love

love poisons those who fall in it
ultimately tearing them apart from each other
and breaking the connection they had
all due to one goal - love
Lack of punctuation adds to lack of care and sympathy by love.

The Key of Poetry
Poetry is the key to the soul.
It cracks it open like a tin can, and most times, it floods it with a waterfall of tears.

Poetry is the key to the mind.
It enters and cleanses any impure part, forcing the mind to realise it's wrongs and inspire it to do right.

Poetry is the key to the heart.
It enters the heart and sweeps away residue from heartbreak and repairs any cracks to be perfect once again.

Poetry is the key to feelings.
It enters the heart and soul and pierces your emotions like a sword through another's heart, making you realise that he's not the one and that he's doing this all for fun.

Poetry can enter pretty much anything.

LOVE⁴
Love is a 4 letter word with different meanings and properties.

It can be the appreciation¹, the admiration², the affection³ or even the constant need⁴ for person or object.

Love can be overrated¹.
It is seen as a fulfillment² of one's lustful³ nature and not as an intimate⁴ and mutual way of showing affection.

Love should not envy¹, it should be kind².
Love does not boast³, and it is patient ⁴.

4 fingers represent 4 different meanings and properties of love...

4 is the half of 8, the shape of Infinity.

2 sets of 4 intertwined fingers makes 8, love lasting for Infinity. - The holding of hands.

Torn Apart
You lured me into your grasp,
and looked at me with determined eyes.
Your biggest task was to use me,
and it was obvious that everything that you told me were honest lies.

When I was close enough,
you manipulated and exploited me.
Every time I opened up,
you tore the opening even wider.

When our souls intertwined,
mine got stuck.
I desperately tried to free myself,
but you were tugging at it,
ripping it apart.

You lured me in and got me to be comfortable with you so that you could use and abuse me "just for fun".
