People claim to be,
Something of dreams.
They fail to notice me,
Filling my memory's reams.

I was there, standing still,
Your presence remained, unaware;
Moving your lips, with no will,
Harsh words came out, didn't care.

You left the site,
Slamming the door.
In "café delight"
Ending our lore.

I stood there, across the door,
Watching you leave once more.
My flowers lay upon the ground,
Yet you left without a sound.

You claimed to be searching,
Seeking for a lovely shard
You failed to notice me, lurking,
With Lamprocapnos in my yard.

And I remained,
Standing like a stand,
When we no longer sustained
Also when started to expand.
It's a story one didn't care about.
I narrated the plot, to an uninterested crowd.
'cause people claim to be,
Something of dreams
And fail to notice me.

Lover's Eyes
A world, hidden in a lover's eye—
Outsiders ought not to oversee.
It's where anything can come by,
Where ordinary would be a beauty.

Yes, dear reader,
It's the lover's eyes,
A realm much deeper,
Where all the magic lies.

Don't turn away,
Don't shun the flame
Let it softly stay—
It's love, not shame.
It's love, not shame

Resistance
A will so rigid,
I could reject even my soul.
Memories of past so vivid;
They swallow me a whole.

Lack of pride and no approval;
He neither asks nor pleads.
Wouldn't even present a proposal
For the person his mind heeds
I wrote this poem during December, last year.
"I like you!"
I wished to shout,
Something rare, right about.
A spark that burned through.

But I never knew you,
Well, it was for an instant—
We came upon,
I saw you, only you.
(And you never saw me.)

You never saw me,
I was translucent.
A shadow,
A breath between moments.
A whisper lost in crowded hums.

What we could be—
You never thought to oversee
Yet, only I hesitated.
Only I remained reluctant.
Only I remained reluctant.
A love at first sight.
A love that lasted a moment
A moment of bliss
To serendipity I yearn,
Yet my soul holds no clue.
The fires of self-indulgence burn,
Unyielding to another's woo.

But life without ambition feels tedious,
The longing for love grows more obvious.

My monotonous days now find cessation,
As my heart seeks leisure, a new elation.
The day commences, towards its end,
Twilight faced across the sky.
A cold night surges, unyielding to bend,
As the radiant hope, so high.

The warmth fades, no hope to subdue,
gloom rises through the skyline.
The pack returns for curfew,
Beneath stars that calmly shine.
I got the inspiration during dusk; as I saw kids playing outside, people returning home from work, school.

A Mirror Tale
An imitation of verse,
Everything, in reverse.
My wrongs are rights,
Nothing seems clear-
Upon shining the lights.

He laughs at me;
Who claims to have seen all.
Tales I couldn't be,
Under his gazes, they fall.

But he is not here,
Yet resides everywhere.
Anywhere will he hide,
All my unspoken shows, he can confide.
