Regular Belvederes
Never was water more refreshing,
Than when I thought I would die of thirst.
Fire never felt so warm as
The moments before I was burned,
And never looked as beautiful
As before it was consumed.
Light split like memories,
When I look up into the night sky;
Things gone, things refracted,
All that's there that eclipses the eye.
I never knew what it was to be *****,
Acting like I was always clean.
Never knew how wrong I was
Thinking I was always right, ignorantly
Hurting those around me
As they've hurt me.
Stagnant puddle reflecting,
Wading against the stream;
Swimming but drowning

In Stitches
Take me at my word,
Or don't.
To me, it's nearly the same.
But don't expect
Should you neglect
To accept me being forthright,
That the same expression
Should cross my face.
You mistook honesty for lie,
Biography for farce,
Stand-up not discussion-
It is yet tragedy but comedy.
No nettles within the gardens,
No ¹needles within the haystacks.

Who made for them new navels
And showered with salted-wine what would not leave us.

Who thrushed through every grain of every chaff,
Picking out & crushing that which was rotten.

We who made the meadows free!

Who liberated they who were encased in ²amber;
Rain, Lightning, Thunder.

Who slayed the ³Fearsome Hydra.
Slew the ⁴Slithering Gorgon.

They who silenced the speaking weeds
And the whispering flagons.
Companions of the ⁵Dragon.

Who caused the Titans to bleed.
Who stitched the wound,
Who cauterized it,
Who bandaged it.

The first of us to understand,
What was the seed.
1 - Pine needles, pine snakes.

2 - Those who evolved or changed.

3 - Parasites, disease, pestilence, sickness, et cetera.

4 - "Satyrs of Cybele" - Ignorance & arrogance, especially that of which is brought on by things like psychotropics.

5 - Electric, in the context of thought and expression by that of the body's muscles. Science. Communication or illustration of one's consciousness.
Look, I smashed them all together!
Look, I tore it all to tatters!
Look, I sewed it all back together!

Look, I wasn't familiar with the formula.
Look, I didn't understand the directions.
Look, I lost the thread all connecting.

Look, look!
Look, I even changed interpretations!

To listen to all the stupid rambles!

Look, I've got a narrative!

To ignore every answer!
You're talking to yourself
And you get away with it
Because thoughts are silent,
Or so you think.

But it's all just electric,
Systems like these are prone to acring.

You're not as quiet as you should be,
For I hear the fears & the worries.

Walk through all the hopes & dreams.

It's like riding the waves;
Liquid, frequency, chemical.

It's just like reading!
Maybe! Or maybe I'm just crazy! :P

Borgli's Dream Scenario
Love will always be gone,
But never for very long.

In that way,
It's a lot like happiness.
In that way,
It is akin to contentment.

It's just difficult finding it.
Sometimes, it's difficult maintaining it.

In that way,
It is akin to happiness.
In that way,
It's a lot like contentment.

For love is everywhere,
Even if it goes nowhere.

His eyes, tightly shut
To stymie the tears building
The fighting, intense and abrupt
Like the feeling to give up

Lying still, still in motion,

Still alive though
Inside, I feel I'm dying;

Whatever is public.

If we can't at least guarantee clean water,
Who are we?

If you think I'm only talking about one thing,
I'm sorry.

If it shouldn't bother you,
Does it?
Why do different?
Why worry?
Like a fly buzzing,
Best just to ignore it.
Swat it!
Stamp it!
Crush it!
But you just can't catch it!

Marbled Miscreants
I shutter desire,
I quiet fear,
And drag a rusty blade across my skin.
It's about what I let out,
Not what I've taken in.
These sweat and tears,
This blood that drops,
I hope you all soak it up.
Each of you, like ***** mops;
Never getting anything clean,
Just spreading all the muck around
And calling everyone *****.
A Tiny Explanation Of The Previous Work Posted:

In the "mysteries" of "Dionysus,"
Or the philosophy of Apollo,
This means stand when you imbibe libations.
When/if you do drugs.

To better know how inebriated or intoxicated
You are or have become.
To properly imbibe them rather than be binded by them or blinded by them.

Similarly, such libations can cause sickness
Without moderation. Such things zap us
Of our relaxation, even stealing our tongue(s).

Hunting what the cause is -
Searching for the light in silence or by abstaining,
Can rebirth the (good) time
Of truth wrapped in/up.

We must ward off sickness;
About our troubles we must talk.

What made them philosophies to the Order(s),
Was the constants between cultures.
You could rattle off names of "Titans" & "Gods"
To easily communicate
Whatever was happening,
Readily understood by those initiated.

Very useful if you spoke different languages,
If it was not safe/was dangerous to talk in open/openness.

And what made them "mysteries"
Was that outside observers
Were left clueless
Unless they themselves had found the light/sawed through the darkness
Or hunted for the truth(s) of the matter(s).

It was a language of Philosophy,
The Philosophy of Language.

Save A Leg For Me!
The old man eats his TV dinners,
He's never learned to cook.
He believes it's a woman's job
But he never quite has the nerve to approach one.
Sure, there have been some
But far & in-between.
They don't stay long,
Bar the ones who have been there
Not to love but to take.
But he was smart enough
To cut them off
And not ache for a connection
Even if it wasn't genuine.
He has sense enough
Yet, not exactly a kind which is common.
For he finds it hard
To stand on ground equidistant.
But what is normal?

Is it such a thing as loneliness or love
Which more people take apart of?
In love there is loneliness,
Just as in loneliness there is love.
Whether it is from hearts together
Who can't stand each other,
Or from hearts seperate
Yet readily love one another.
Is it such a thing as loneliness in love
Or love in loneliness
Which more people find themselves in?
Of the equal strength it takes to stay
There is someone stronger in leaving,
Of the equal weakness it takes to wane
There is someone weaker in longing.
Yet, of the unrequited,
These are but fancy words
Which don't always flower to fruition.
And love can be won through persistence,
But to some it is akin to attrition.
The foundation of it loose & unstructured,
Rather than unbound & liberated.

Perchance, by the eye which beholds;
Some think it cowardly -
Some think it bold.
To go on loving, nonreciprocal.
To go on loving, unconditional.
Happy Thanksgiving, I guess.

I Believe
The ganwing ache
The emptiness inside,
Great big maw.
That is life
A country with monarchy
Means you are no citizen,
Merely but a subject.
This fact you may try to reject,
Saying this & that
About statues & such
What limit royalties' powers.
Yet, I protest;
The influence granted
Over every facet of society
Is not something which can be limited
Through official legal means,
And rarely otherwise.
Things which pass through inheritance,
Things which pass through all types of channels,
Assets physical & otherwise -
Attributes rightly & not rightly earned.
And in weaker times
Or moments of crisis,
How easily any power limited
Can swiftly be regained.
And holding a royal position,
How easily these may be manufactured -
Crash, clash, ****:
By economics, by warfare, by afflictions.
Sometimes it's doing everything,
Sometimes it means not doing anything.
Orders are different,
As by the Order(s) who has given.

Where, when, checks & balances become insufficient.

In democracy proper,
We are free.
We are the people
Whom celebrate liberty.
Yet, our freedom
Is always at stake.
For in the same merit,
One has the liberty to take
Where & when that society is not properly regulated
Or is otherwise protected & guarded.
Where likewise the law is no meadow,
In the democratic
We must all tend to the garden -
Lest all be overgrown & lost,
As El Dorado.
One tale ends
Where another's tail begins.
In that,
It's sink with ¹Atlantis
Or learn to swim.
Only give up the ******* ways of superstition
Or be prepared for to be nothing.

Where, when, checks & balances are insufficient.

shouldering the weight

at the long suffering
at length and still here
They done killed the working man
And wrote an album about them,
Wiped out all them Cheddar heads-
Milk men's dead.
Somewhere a queen is weeping,
Somewhere a king has no wife;
Something called Neanderthalis
As another word for a human, a person.
These, members of my family as relatives,
Who are bonded to us in blood
Both in the veins of our hands
As much as they stain them.
But to that bond,
There is a responsibility to honor
And a duty to you entrusted.
That is,
The depth to it is much more than this
Lest you be the least of us.
In paying respect to those come before
And bringing up those now born,
In endeavoring to do more & be more.
Whatever facet, whatever role;
Be kind and civil,
Stand up to injustice.
Protect the weak
As an advocate made strong
By virtue & wisdom.
Turn on, tune in, turn up, awaken;

Between science and superstition.
Through holes in canvases
Of freshly painted things,
Strange & otherworldly,
Aching to be discovered

So much more

On dictating individuality
And harming individual rights.

Oh right. I forgot.

Oh right. I forgot.
There's these things

Oh right. I forgot.
There's these things
Called existing judgements.

Ah, ****!
I guess I'm against
State & church seperation.
Ah, shucks!
I guess I'm for
Totalitarian fascism.
But, but, you can't have state & church in fascist societies!
But, but, you can't have dissenting opinions in totalitarian systems!
One might call the leading sentiments today feudal in nature and/or completely autocratic.

Phrygians & Tricornes
I feel that the light is shining on all of us,
Here today,
That are of this generation.
Without thought for creed or nation,
Dispensation or convictions.
I feel in the air
A breeze of change
From the winds of truth.
I hear the chimes
Of a pur of gust on chords
From a pale vision given color.

I see concern in the face of my brothers,
I discern a scent staining my sisters.

That they are not treated as fathers,
That they are not treated as mothers;
That they are less person & more chattel.

Whatever your chosen identity.

And even so, despite conjecture
The majority feel as such,
That line of a nation
Is one without factions.
And yet, by the party system,
That lie of a nation
Is one where we are equals.
Because in being separate
We are not different,
Not in this way.
For we are conjoined
And yet disjointed;
Debating becomes like arguing,
Disagreeing becomes like fighting.

My friends, what are we doing?
Is it not yet evident
That without the cooperation,
Consent,
And participation
By the majority of the populace
That it is impossible for us to attain real order?
Outside of seditious and nefarious plans
For power grabs of total control,
Which will all reliably fail,
There are solutions.

Yet nor too meek or rigid
As some fanatics or magicians,
Often pessimists or nihilists,
So worship and practice ritual.
No. We will be democratic
With a government
Who hears of all

Where we may all be impartial.

Thanks L.U.C.A.
We're mammals;
Walking, talking, thinking.
We're animals.
Upright, articulable, sophisticated.

Yet, we pay little respect,
Fret more then reflect;
For an ancestor we all share
And yet share more in neglect!

What long ways to have come
To have gone so little distance;
To be ever farther than before,
But to have done really so very little!

I talk about our planet!
I talk about all those who inhabit!
It's a rotten mess that's been made.
Each blemish, every scar, all the stains
Marked & soaked into each & every page!

Many great recessions & regressions,
Degradations & destructions-
That's what we offer everything.
But I digress from the apathy,
For it is better thought to think of change.

What beauty nature must have been,
Even understanding the difficulty
Of life prior to our modernity.
Years & years ago, hundreds & thousands,
When natural life was more abundant.

"When we were slaves to nature!"
"When all was bountiful & liberated!"
"When we were aching & starving!"
"When all was free & meritable!"

It's all perspective,
But are they all really mutually exclusive?
Like the popular philosophies of a moment
Fluctuating with the pass of time.

From good to bad,
Like stored food going spoiled.
From growth to decay,
Like rust on metal forming.

Yet, it's just change.
Yet, those are just oddities.
Everyday examples
Because of our lifestyles.

Those things exhibited being indicative
Of perspective on the nature of "change."
Good, bad.
It's by an individual basis.

Balance between any individual & its environment
Is essential for that individual to maintain.
At the same time, being a product of its environment,
To what magnitude, if any, does any individual actually have a responsibility to?

It's by an individual basis?
But every species is a part of,
In one way or another,
A collective of that species.
Their effects, how they affect,
Can be counted cumulative.

But it all sure is beautiful.

Them being the only ones
To sell themselves out;
Set the rate yourself.
It'd be a shame

For but paltry wealth.
Small penance too,
For fleeting looks and fading health.
Not a profession with a pension,
Not a career with a penchant for happiness;
But if *******'s your passion

You guys really messed up that message-
Do you have the postage? Addresses?

The records & reports
For what you purport?
Are all the passages
Just rewritten, or
Pages overwritten?
Torn out or rearranged?
Perhaps overlooked?

No longer properly understood?

Is the truth lurking out there,
Somewhere?
Buried under heaps of rubble,
Covered by mud & dirt.

Wipe the muck off.

Through the weeds & brush,
Thorn & thrush,
Save the vine & water the bush.

Get looking.
If that were true,
Then the probabilistic element
Would be that of environment inhabited.

The life we live.

Then the deterministic element
Would be that which we are building,
The mind. The neural structure of our brains.

How we choose to live it.

So that "thought" only resonated
To that which was properly crystallized,
By ways & means of communication
Through each axis. Dendrite, neuron, axon, synapse.

Matters on the formation of our matter.

When I should be quicker
To pause and think,

How my words will and could
Be interpreted or construed
And of that, whatever resulting.
Of the checks & balances

What is the material from which
The weights of judgement
Have been constructed?
Pig iron, sterling silver, stainless steel?
And of our choice of counterweights,
What is revealed?
I heard a wise man saying,
"I wouldn't just abandon a friend
Simply because they were going through
Some strange parasocial moment.

Many of which would be the least bit better than the reality currently ascribed

Doves made of mildew.

Getting old?
