My mind drifts
untethered to the decomposing flesh
that binds it
traps my wings with bars of meat

my mind wanders through the world
one day i will not come back
freedom beckons
i soar on the breath of thought

Breathe,
Deep breaths,
Shallow,
A sense,
Surreal.
Every thought,
As if a dream,
Emotionless,
Every sense of reality,
All feeling,
Gone.
Drifting,
Like the breeze,
With no direction,
To meaning.
Floating,
Between the shapes,
Unable to determine,
The truth.

Drifting away from the stars

I watch my decisions sway

Look at all this decay
I cannot make my mind

Drifting away from the suns

I am confined and resigned

My fate is designed

When the stars aligned

I am just so blind
Drifting behind

I want to be reassigned from mankind

Maybe one day I’ll find my mind

Maybe it will be refined, defined
But today I’m drifting

Shifting in this world

A peal in an underworld

Drifting away from the cosmos

Maybe one day it will be clear

But right now it’s foggy and dark

I just want to disembark

I may be quitting but right now I’m just

drifting

I can’t feel
 anything
At all.

There is nothing,

My mind is blank.

Writing is getting hard,

My words just

Feed into each other
Thereisnospacetomoveinthismess.

I can’t focus longer than

A couple minutes,

If that.
It’s like everything is a dream;

Now and again

I wake up

Into a blurred reality,

S lowly
drifting away again

Into the nothingness.

I cannot make out what you are saying,

Scream at me;

I don’t understand.

Anger takes over me,

And a headache
that hasn’t budged for days,

Suddenly rips out of me

Exploding into the air

Covering everything within 5meters;
With stardust

And gun powder.

(I can’t tell the difference)

You’re the only thing
that could make me feel

A little more alive

At the moment,

But I can’t even
get close enough

To your face,

Without shaking

And then collapsing

To the floor.

I’ll smoke cigarettes

And get drunk;

Just to be able

To hear you whisper

In my ear

And to block out

The muffled voices
in my mind.

Let the haunted emptiness
Let it take me away
Carry me into deep darkness
Lift me out of this day

Close my eyes with nights caress
And sleep enclose and unwind
For the relief of my stress
And I float in a dreaming mind

The morphing shadows of black
Swirl in terrifying scenes
In fear I try escape back
To such a place without dreams

Now listlessly awake I lay
Tired, but unable to rest
Sleeplessly caught in the sway
To far gone, drifting in grey

Bobbing up and down
amidst the sloshing waves,
the bottle floats on
carrying a message inside.

Hailing from forgotten hands
Searching for unknown lands
Its fate at the mercies of the deep,
ferrying voices from across the Sleep.

Under the sun and the moon,
Through rains and storms,
tossing and turning it travels
fearing every reef and rock

lest they should stop it
while life flows on past it.
Fearing lest it be broken
and the voices perish unspoken.

Not knowing if it will ever be picked up,
not knowing by whom,
little knowing that the one it seeks
had lain down his head in death's lap.

Wasted hopes now it bears,
inane memories and cares..
Without purpose,wandering..
In lifeless seas,ever drifting.

My hand and gripped hair
The threats?
"I CAN rip you out, I just CHOOSE not to."
Is is fear, despair, madness, loathe?
The answer is empty of meaning.
What is known would be ignored,
as all said seems true,
but fake.
Boundlessly vain.
silly,
worthless;
doubtful.
What am I looking for in this effort?

I know.
I see.
I hear.
I believe.
One thought twigs into another.
I even wonder if the ocean can breathe.
Breathe life into me.
Aliens don't exist,
but nightmares and demons do?
A problem,
unwanted.
A result,
unwanted.
An answer,
only a lie,
....
unwanted, unwanted, oh so unwanted.

I scream inside,
and every inner glass is shattered.
I yell,
"Notice of Insanity Uprising!"
They yell back,
"That's Life."
Upon those words I numb my mind,
I release my grip.
I let go of everything.
MY face: gone
MY body: gone
MY hope: gone gone gone
Anything and everything that was me leaves,
and my body becomes a cadaver.
Drifting side to side,
in and out.
It's more calm now though.
My mind is no longer driving me crazy.

For we have reached our destination.
