Fire
Ever notice how a piece of timber first catches on it burns so bright...
There's sort of a passion to it?

How it moves along flaring hot or hotter,
flaming-out here or there...

Coming around again to exhaust all efforts at staying alight...
...but it matters not.

That dark hardened shell of the wood has nothing left to give...
...can't maintain itself.

Sure, -you can add accelerant.
A later something, perhaps different in thermal expression?

In the end only speeds up the process of becoming nothing; as ashes cast into the winds.

Charred pieces were better left alone, dissolving in raindrops over time?

Never rekindle a thing once burnt.

Yes I suppose that makes logical sense...

Unless you feel cold?

Mantra of the Rain
We walk into the rain
believing in a fluidity
of time. That outcomes
can change and be
certain. Be attained.

Life can be certain.

It will flow into
a life I have wished
for.

Life can be certain.

We will walk through
rains, walk until an outcome
can shine. Until our
sundog appears.

Life can be certain.

A brighter day is the
future. In our future.

Life can be certain.

The Sprite
The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
you can find him out at night!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
when the stars are full and bright!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
see the snow out on the ground?

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
dancing in the snowflakes' falling sound?

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf,
of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush,
The leaves they are attractive, they shimmer in the night...

...like the snowfall, so distractive, a twisting shiny sickness is a tasty sight,
though the berries not delicious their taste is only acrid, and hiding a secret acid, yet pungent, smelling right?

The bush's thorns they punish those who root among the branches while the sprite he dances in-between the flashes of pain and belly aches the acid courses through one’s veins and the evil sprite it smiles knowing well where its source of nutrient for the winter has died and felled!

The little silver sprite rides the silver leaf, of the blue, briar-berry thorn bush; but only at night…

Once when an Angel called me,
Not single right now; sor-ry…
Like a shadow with wings,
I see him around…

Not that it really matters,
His dress is torn and tattered,
A shadow of flap-ping wings,
Lit-tle breezy…here with no sound?

Kiss of a fool and the angels above…
And they’re falling forever, falling in love,
Kiss of a fool and the angels above…
And they’re falling forever, falling in love,

Hey you…angel who called me,
Am -I...really that pretty?
Get out of that tree,
Come down to the ground!

Dancing with wings, moving around,
Twirling…still, there’s no sound?
Dating an angel; falling down!
Dated an angel, fallen down.

Kiss of a fool with the heavens above…
And we’re falling forever, falling in love,
Kiss of a fool and the heavens above…
And we’re falling forever, falling in love,

Okay angel who called me…
It was okay but sor-ry,
Dated an angel, fooling around,
Broken up, sorry, shadowy ground.

Kiss of a fool and the angel above…
And he’s fallen forever, falling in love,
Kiss of a fool and the heavens above…
And they’re falling forever, fallen in love,

I hear Sheryl Crow when I sing this.

The Panoply of Van
Through the fields of stars and through the black forest,
And always West, trailing behind them a glowing disk,
With their frizzy coats and gnarling smiles; the heroes try to **** them with meteors.

Scattered shards of stone-fire bits, and the ashen paw prints evading it,

…and the horse shines upon Lykaon’s grave.

Howling are the wolves of Phanes, their number growling with the rains.
And matching windy howling screams, with hoots and hollers inbetween…
The great horns point at the wolven den, from which Fenrir’s gaze sees all man’s sin.

And the flames of Cerberus lick the hori-zon;

…as he descends into Hell’s cave,

And the Drakon hungry for lycanthropes, he hunts the plains of Hades;
But the cunning beasts avoid him while calling out to the moon, over their master’s grave.

Calling out over Lykaon’s grave,

Cyclopean-cotton collects, a smoking pillar covering guide. Obscuring the light and now they are vexed, as the Lykos struck down, they have died.

And their flesh is what the Drakon does crave, as they are devoured on the stones of Lykaon’s grave,

…at that place known as Lykaon’s grave,

Struck down with asters
and gobbled-up,
over Lykaon’s grave.
Wyrd-wolven stars at night

…over Lykaon’s grave,

A werewolf at,
The entrance,
To the cave,
And that King,

…who stands before Lykaon’s grave.

The Parable
I went
to the mountains
searching
for my soul.

Found a
place to worship
like those storied
days of old.

A storm came
pulled me up,
threw me back
in bitter cold.

Talked to Jesus
asked forgiveness,
found redemption
heart grew bold.

When you need him
he will be there
like the good book
always told.

I went

I was searching

Military Hats
Military hats; have set up a road block,
Military hats; have all the traffic stopped,
Military hats; are searching a freight train,
Military hats are frantic about something?

When I see military hats acting like these do...
I tend to get real antsy ‘cause I’m stopped and want to move.
And when those military hats started running across the field,
I cranked my car and stomped the gas and left that line of steel.
Where I left, those military hats, -are lying on the ground,

Military hats; are lying, -where the bodies were found.
A tribute to the sacrifices of those in service. No one ever stops to think about how those that serve think of those that do not? Or vice versa. How can you not appreciate what these people do? Even if you disagree with all of it; war. Even if...you LIVE because of them.

In the Chaos of the City!
In the chaos of the city, City!
Where the wolven on the prowl,
Hot legs and looking pretty, leather skirt and upturned scowl,
You know it won’t discourage ditty, it only raises lustful howls,
In the chaos of the city, (pause)…a hunter’s stalking you now-ow-ow! (nowel)

In the chaos of the city, City!

In the chaos of the city! City!
While trailing scent all a-round, (a-ray-ound)
Curvy-body, lookin’ at-cha (pause)… my teeth glistening, open mouth, (may-outh)
They’re not asking for much yeah, won’t be saying baby please,
Wolves you know they’re gonna hunt-cha, strutting past Ole’ factories,
Drivin’ n’ dancing yah, till you’re exhausted on your knees,

In the chaos of the city, City!
Out at night you wanna dance, (day-ance)

To the animals you’re pretty, Pretty!
In your heels they watch you prance, (pray-ance)

In the chaos of the city, City!
Wolves are out to bed you down, (day-oun)

Lugal, Dekōōd, Dinĝir
A man built a
stone wall in
a place which
was not his to
reside. It was
torn down ‘til
he killed the
other person,

Therefore a council, the ‘Council of the Commons,’ was called to order. It was from this foundation that early man found truth in matters through debate. It was a way of reckoning with problems and resolving disputes and contained three members; a king, a judge and their god -who came before the shrill cries and lamentations that day to hear the case of the stonemason. It was gathered at the temple of the god.

Lugal; “In what is good and what is just, I imagine a verdict that treats the people as wholesome; is just.”

Dekōōd; “For you believe, as all rulers do, that justice leaves are but for the few, the man who acts can never do, a thing unjust for his reward is due, but in this you err, unlike in battle, for people humanely; cannot be treated as cattle.”

Dinĝir; “And what of me? What my concern? What offering more, than blood-on-earth; in turn?”

Lugal; “We are not here in glory nor in battle but save for the prayers of these people; our chattel.”

Dekōōd; “I am not here for you, nor here for thus, nor daimones due, I am the judge, and adjudicate, I must! No matter solemn, or ill or gravely hearted, to sufferers who mourn, a dearly departed. If laws were broken, so have I been called, as one of three who judges, judges all, and so be it, until a time, that such a thing as rule, has ceased to rhyme, and man has ended, for all time!”

Dinĝir; “Very well, very well indeed, their incense is pleasing, their temple cleaned, their prayers heard, devices expected and meat and porridge and genuflective, these subjects are a thrill to me, go forward council, you two of three. I shall not make my move as much, until you humans, consider such, but once you pass a judgment on, this humble man of stone and brawn, just say the verdict and I will act, as Dekōōd has judged him, for his attack.”

Lugal; “Quiet now! Hush all, be quiet, lest I consider, your shrills, a riot, and put you down, for I decree, over all that you know, and all that you see, a final arbiter, of the law, I am your King; the king of all!”

Dekōōd; “And I your judge, your voice of reason, who discerns the meanings, the acts and treasons and takes the place of him that died and points thy finger and convicts those that lied!”

Dinĝir; “Mmmpfh, crunch, gargle, ummped, mmmpfh…pig! …and it’s roasted well…mmmpfh, smack.”

Dekōōd; “Come before me, bring that stonemason, and the family come forward, come quickly, quickly hasten, and the accusers tell, your tale of woe, and I’ll assign his character, if it is low.”

“I am wife, was wife to he, the man a farmer, and husband to me,
These here, his children, all eight of thee, and that land there, was given to us, you see,

By that great king, Oh Lugal, it is I, and he was a lieutenant, in the wars of honor, on your side,

Which beget you your kingdom, thus you granted these lands to him, whom did, his duty,

And that monster, the mason, his wall upon them doth rent away, -their beauty,

After our reproach, he did slay my hus-band, his blood now spilt, and washed upon, our land.”

Dekōōd; “Come before me now stonemason, show me your face, over there, yes, that’s your place, stand at that podium and tell us now, give us your case, but remember how well you plead, shall determine, your fates."

“I may have built my wall as such, plans offset by hills that roll but I did nothing wrong except to error,

I did not commit this claimed terror, her husband attacked me before we could reason and that was it.”

Dekōōd; “You call that eloquence? Well then, eye for an eye, tear this man apart, until he has died, and as he lie dying, Diĝir, it’s your turn, devour your portion, for the rest, we shall burn!”

Lugal; “For I am Basileos!”
Dekōōd; “For I am Basilicas!”
Dinĝir; “For I am Basiliskus!”

“The king, a judge, your god; the three,

…and this, as such, is our, decree!”
Sumerian; Lugal means King, Dekood means Judge, Digir means God.

Pythian Ode
For the Dragon hissed as the Dragon died,
Apollo’s kiss as the night subsides,
Python’s bliss as naiad’s cried,
And the wailing woe’s on a weathering tide,

Water-wall from Kētos scream, tsunami crash, swallow everything,

Rolling clouds and the pouring rain and the serpent dying writhing in pain,

And the Dragon hissed and the Dragon died,
Apollo kissed away the night time sky,
And the Python’s bliss as his naiad’s cry,

The Sun awoke at the wheel-house berth, armor gold, chest-plate of Earth,

And valiance choked, squeezed by Ladon’s girth,

As the serpent swelled with the stormy seas,

To collapse great hero upon his knees,

Apollo, Cadmus and Hercules.

Reborn by fire, Father-Lion’s roar, returned each night to even-up the score,

And the Dragon hissed and the Dragon died,
Apollo’s kiss ward off night time skies,
Oh the wailing woe of ominous tides,

The scythe or club, boulder at night, rocks from heaven and the perilous fight,

Black-oil venom, heart of a beast, starry night’s runner split from the east,

Noxious breathe, flame-seared teeth, smell of death from a ****** feast,

Speared at the neck, pinning head to earth, then celebrated as a day of birth,

The serpent on his shoulder, or dangling from the tree,

Arising from the waters, from the depths beneath,

Cast out under a mountain, yes underneath, then wear his skin and sow his teeth!

And the Dragon hissed and the Dragon died,
Apollo’s kiss as the fight subsides,

And Python’s bliss as his muses wailed, between the horns where Argo sailed,

Call it a man or Charybdis, Scylla, rock, a multi-headed beast,

Or just two horns with a middle disk and Apollo’s fire, Sun’s dawning kiss,

And the Dragon hissed as the Dragon dies,
And Apollo’s kiss create the day time skies,
And the Python’s bliss at his naiad’s cries,
And the Dragon hissed and the Dragon died!
The story of Python in bardic tune. This is the source of the tale of St. George and the Dragon. It is the conflict between the night time sky and the Sun which is fought daily but the dragon is, "pinned," for three days when the sun rises on the same spot on the horizon during the Christmas holiday.

The Lucky One
My pick-up truck, trailer home, ...the good book by-my-bedside,
Lost a family, lost my home, ...a terrible twist, twist of fate.
Here I can't escape, that feeling, that I want-to-die,
Found a bottle, quit my job, ...stopped responding to-my-Facebook.

LIFE WENT SIDE-WAYS, REALLY FAST, ..NO PLACE TO GO BUT DOWN!

All I had, gone with the past, a new dark road I took...
Woke up one morning on my floor with the good book on my chest.
Flipped it open, turned it around, and with him, found I'm blessed.

..........and now times stood the test.

I needed to walk, ...with the Son,
Get right back-on-track,
All I needed, was to talk with the Son...

And now they call me the Lucky One,
Now they call me the Lucky One,
They call me the Lucky One,
They call me the Lucky One,
I LOST A LOT/I NEVER WON,
And they call me the Lucky One.

Family's gone but I have the Son,

Now they call me the Lucky One,
They call me the Lucky One,
They call me the Lucky One,
I LOST A LOT/I NEVER WON,
And they call me the Lucky One.

Suddenly I figured out,
All those things I couldn't-ever figure out...

*And now they call me the Lucky One,
Now they call me the Lucky One,
They call me the Lucky One,
Call me the Lucky One,
I LOST A LOT/I NEVER WON,
And they call me the Lucky One.

                                     -staring down at me…

At night the mind of the Moon,

At the steps are the ones, ancient Kings of the Sun.
Torn apart by the people, when the harvest was done,
And solar barque crosses Styx, to the gates of Ammon…
Riders come from the steppe to see the death of the one,
Ancient King of the Sun redeem the land and the seed…
-Rises up as Orion, again, and now he’s freed!

It’s the Eye of the Sun and the Lion is free, roaming over the lands, now the cycle’s complete…
The constellation of Orion represents the resurrected god or king. The seven glorious ones are the six northern pole stars and one southern pole star. Ancient Egyptians were Scythian making them Celts. Celts blamed their king for ill fortune and killed their kings as a sacrifice to god to rectify misfortune begetting the people.

You know I don't mind be-ing alone,

All Alone!
...all alone.

You know I don't mind be-ing alone,

You know I don't mind be-ing alone,
it's just the times when I'm at home.

Walking away I screamed out loud,
You calmer now, say it's allowed.
Firmament a Serpent, stand my ground,
here drunk again you're not around.

..not around.
around.

You know I don't mind be-ing alone,
it's just the times when I'm at home.

You know I don't mind be-ing alone,
it's just the times when I'm at home.

...all alone...
All Alone!
...all alone.

Alone
The Sun in her many incarnations with the Earth left behind. Heaven is a serpent who leaves us...me and the Sun is the enemy. No light, just darkness, no light all darkness...there is no light in heaven when seen from Earth. Stars are teasing, cheating the dark.

-call me; Dan?
They say I am,

"Irish?"

Then they call me Dan.

Who called upon your shores and...
said 'such-a-thing' as boorish?

CALL ME DAN

The Little Heart Rhyme
There was a heart that fell to earth,
Its face was bruised and beat,
And even though it got back up,
It never felt complete?

All grit or grim or hurt and dust,
The heart continued on; it sought,
Something to love, a thing to cherish,
The reason that it fought.

Just a heart out swinging,
wild, little wobbly,
Fighting on with muck and mire,
Passion's ignited to a fire…

It swung as hard as it could…

That little heart that stood.

Colorado Song
Freedom on the trail,
Been banished by be-trayel,

What was, came to pass,
Heart crushed; Old Sugar Glass.

If it just could be,
Just one more day for me,
Baby, it'd be you-
-I'd have to see...

My Colorado Heart!
       I see you,

Colorado Heart!
       Reach for you,

COLORADO!
        My heart,

...my heart that you are.

Yeah my heart, you are.
...my heart that you are.

Future Past
"My Yesterday is gone,
            tomorrow yet to come.
Sadness to it's demise,
as Hope is on the rise."

Numb paper-folding feeling,
   not asleep and not awake...

My satiety's ob-vo-lution,
   all feeling for, feeling's sake.

Outside there's no revealing...
all the chaos in my wake.

"My Yesterday is gone,
            tomorrow yet to come.
Sadness to it's demise,
as Hope is on the rise."

"My Yesterday is gone,
            tomorrow yet to come."

"My Yesterday is gone,
            tomorrow yet to come."

Outside there's no revealing...
all the chaos in my wake.

"My Yesterday is gone,
            tomorrow yet to come.
Sadness is on the rise,
      my Mind is in demise."

Life in a mental hospital.

The collective mind is a wave pushing those resisting over and
pulling them up into it, to share the surf, to see the shore, again.

Tyre Druid -Dealer
I don't want to sell,
anymore...
I wish not to have sold at all.

Religion is useless...
Spiky-Hats, pointy-things, death.

I am not a salesman,
for Death.
