Wanting to kiss your footprints

Blind
Dhaye Margaux Apr 2016
Too many times he'd been hurt
Insecurities ruled his mind
His flaws were too visible in their eyes
But there was no door that he could find

He was locked in the cell of love
Where his eyes didn't see anymore
He relied on the beats of his heart
He knew he won't win in this kind of war

Yet he didn't regret in his choice
He accepted to be blind at all
His dream was to grow old with her
Only her beside him in every rise and fall
To the ones who love selflessly...

Paper Planes
Dhaye Margaux Apr 2016
~~¥~~

I have made some letters
Expressed every emotion
My sentiments and longing,
My faith and hope,
My fears and doubts,
My strengths and will,
My weaknesses and flaws,
My commitment
And made them all
Into paper planes

Like you're just in the other room
I will play with these planes
And make them fly to you

I saw the paper plane made by my son so I was inspired to write this...

I Am A Woman
Dhaye Margaux Apr 2016
~~¤~~

I am a woman
And my soul breaths all
The love that I feel
And I shall I live
In every single word
In every little thing
In every harmonic sound
That is coming from you
I am the one who dreams
To see your smile
To hear your laughter
To wipe your tears
To help you carry your loads

I am a woman
And my spirit longs
To be united to yours
Like a twin flame
I could see us rise
And together we will soar high
To love's eternity
I can only promise you
A love  that will never die
But grows and grows more
As the time goes by

I am a woman
And my body craves
To be owned by you
A sacred gift of love
A priceless jewel I kept
To adorn you one day
A garland of sweet kisses
A blanket of  warm embrace
A strong shelter of love

Yes, a woman that I am
Only for you, my love
You own me, all of me
Take my all
Every inch of me
Because I am yours
A woman only for you.

Your Words
Dhaye Margaux Apr 2016
The brevity of your words is a gift for me
You painted my whole world of what I need to see
There's the sun and the moon, as day and night
Your words always shine on me, my forever light
Brevity: the quality of expressing much in few words.

* Brevity is a common word to most people here but since it is the word prompt that came to me, I made a verse from it.

Intransingent
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
You focus your attention to things I don't see
Intransingent you are to me
You never said yes or no, always maybe
We're two branches that won't meet on this tree
There's nothing I can give but my specialty
I thought you like a little of my recipe
But you just ignored when I offered coffee
Now I know what you like-  it is the tea
From that floating resto-bar at the sea
I am not a *******, I can see
It is best to not expect, just let it be
Intransingent: refusing to agree or compromise;inflexible
*******: a fool

Girl In The Forest
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
I am the girl in this forest but you can't see me as human
You are used to call me a different cognomen
I have been trying so hard just to make you see
But you still find a dark and scary creature in me

Those dead bodies buried six feet below the ground
I hear their souls calling,  I hear the gloomy sound
Into your cruel minds,  I was the criminal
You cleave into my name the darkest pin of betrayal

I wonder why you always see me as a dark creature
And you only look at my color as my valid nature
Look at the moon that shines brightly over me
She wants to show who I am and yet you cannot see

I am the girl in this forest, I am a human like you
It is your mind,  it is your eyes that don't see what is true
Your mind thinks all the darkness,  your eyes  see what's skin deep
You paint in me an image that will make me mourn and weep

I'm just a girl in this forest who cease myself to live as free
For no matter what I do, a scary crow is what you see.
Beauty is in the eye of beholder.
In this cruel world, the critical society is a painter.

They just robbed my house and did much harm

Love In The Sea
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
I dream of us making sweet things in the sea
There's romance all around just for you and me

Imagine us walking hand in hand on a beach
Then afterwards chasing,  oh,  you're so easy to reach

We sit on the sand still you hold my hand
The love and the romance are our own magic wands

You kiss me on forehead that shows of respect
But the next kiss,  of course,  is what I also expect

You help me to stand and hold me on my hips
Now it's time to give you my sweet candy lips

You raise me up then and swing me in the air
We both shout "I love you" while air plays with my hair

We then lie on the sand and you kiss me once more
It is our longest kiss this time on this shore

Oh,  I am not shy nor afraid anymore
This love  we have now will stay forevermore
The beach is like the heart
Where waves come and go
But still those waves are the water
That is forever a part of the sea
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
I'll explain myself in broken verses and scattered memories
Even if I don't understand why now we're like enemies
How did it happen to us after all the love we had
I couldn't move on from this nightmare, this is really bad

Yesterday, it's you and me against this wicked world
I fell but you held my hand and helped me fight the cold
Yet it seems that yesterday, I never had a clue
I didn't notice from your eyes if words were true

So today, please know, I'll try to tell you everything
Even if it will mean more pain, no matter it will bring
Even if I don't understand why now we're like enemies

Girl In Pink

Wearing  pink  Ruckus shirt and Levis **** shorts
She looks so daring that makes his devilish smile
Nobody in this place could make him dance and sing
Fishing women in the sea makes him crazy for a while

There are moments that his thoughts are scrambled in
While the moon is hiding in the night, he wishes for a sign
Whoever comes to him this time will magically shift his heart
On a solitary moment of dreaming like this, that girl in pink is fine!

He and You
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
He is my constant rain when my world is drying out,
When the fountain of love is emptied by the people I care about
When the things I hear are all lies and there is no chance to shout
When my heart starts to harden and all I feel is doubt

He is my precious angel when I'm like a falling star
When my wings are both broken from a thousand wars
When I need a true confidant, he never seems afar
When I think of those things about him, I remember who you are.

A Letter To Heaven 2
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
I carry the cross going to this mountain
In search for peace, love and hope
I give everything
Even the clothes I wear
Yet
They want the air from my lungs
They want my limbs
They want my life

I carry this jar of tears all my life
For the hope that someday it will be filled with smiles
I bear the pain, all the miseries
Yet
Sunset extends it's view
I long for  the sunrise
I wait for a new day

One day, my time will end
But I am here again, wishing
That before I get there
I will soon see that smile
Life is fulfilling if the only thing that you wish for will be yours, even for a day.

The Stained Girl
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
She is the stained girl,  a diffident dreamer
Who looks for the sun and the rain together
Her  panache is to craft blissful memories
Festooned with vivid thoughts, her accessories

She is the stained girl,  a feeble believer
Who relies on a happy ever after
Yet scared to be seen from her cheerful facade,
Something that would charge her of being a fraud

She saunters in the midst of the piqued storms
Resounding the hues of the jaundiced norms
Like a bird highlighted with vibrant plumes
To fly around the walls of perplexing rooms

She wears the best maquillage, old and new
To make everyone away from being blue
She offers her hair, those gilded strands
Yet they exploit her gift with their vicious hands

She is the stained girl who seeks for uprightness
Yet pain has shaped her with creased faithfulness
In front of a looking glass, there I see
That magnificent, stained girl looks like me.
*Stained here is colored or painted.

This Life
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
This life is a recondite transit
Where our paths might be unknown
We would stop  at varied crossroads
When confused at those strange zones

The sky each day may differ
There could be sun,  there could be rain
It could be blue or could be orange
But on the next pace,  it could be grey

And if ever the times get harsh
That we might stumble and fall
Just remember we're not alone
In going through tight bouts at all

Life is a creek of promises
Springing from heavens above
The rain of life will flow on us
We should welcome the gift of love

But like a battlefield we know
What we purport is to survive
In this platform of test and ventures
After each fall,  we must revive

Life is survival of the fittest
The world is a precarious place
Don't be that weak who cannot soar
Be like an eagle, conquer the space.
For  the  "TEN WORDS I GIVE" CONTEST where I have to use the following words in  poem:
STOP
ORANGE
GREY
STUMBLE
CREEK

To The Girl I Love
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
You are not weak;
You just have to find out your strengths
When you feel the failure all the time,
Just do your best and surrender the rest to God
Always think positive and try to see the best in you

You are not ugly;
You just need to smile to enhance the beauty in you
Always do the good things for you but consider the welfare of others
For beauty is not just skin-deep but coming from the heart

You are loved;
Yes, don't say nobody loves you
That child who smiles when he sees you,
Jesus whom you cannot see, but always loves you
And I, the only one who will not stop loving you

I love you!
This is me, yourself.
Loving oneself is not selfishness. It is the greatest love of all.

You are safe here in your mother's arms

A Letter To Heaven
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016
I wish there are no bad people who find joy in hurting others
And there will be no one using others just to get what they aspire
I wish hearts only feel how to love, to be happy, and to care
That no hurt and pain would be there to create a baneful fire

I wish I learn to be cold, and to be numb at times
That nothing can hurt my heart that is so vulnerable
I wish this letter could reach the heaven  so soon
For many thorns ***** my heart and the pain is unbearable.
I am weak, sensitive and over-thinker. I am so full of flaws.

Hope this insecurity will pass soon

Salamat
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016

Maliit man at hamak ay lalaban ako

Salamat, salamat, aking kaibigan
Pag-ibig na busilak aking iingatan
Hanggang sa pagtanda, hanggang kamatayan
Pagkakaibigan ay walang hangganan.
For a true friendship....thank you!

Another Rainy Days
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2016
I thought the storm was over
And the sun now shines on me
Why the sky is dark again?
Still, I am not free

I beg You, I pray
Why I have this kind of heart?
It is easy to be broken
My life was torn apart

This pain, these tears
Won't they  just stay away?
I did my best to be humane
Do I deserve to be this way?

Another rainy days here
So heavy downpour I see
Not the rain that I've learned to love
I don't know how it came to me

I am so tired, I am so weak
I don't know if I can stand still
The last string of hope in me
Has weakened and took my will

My God, help me to understand
I still don't know how and why
My life, my heart's now broken
Oh, rainy days, this is my cry!
Getting dark again...

Musing on sadness.

White Lie
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2016
I hold my breath before I speak
The most hurting words I can give
I'm tired of this, please understand
You don't deserve what you receive

I see the questions in your eyes
But you do not speak at all
I turn my back to hide my tears
I don't want you to see them fall

The truth is I am so ashamed
I don't deserve a love so pure
I ruined your goals and all your dreams
I'm afraid I cannot give the cure

You are bewitched with my smile
Forgot your plans due to love's charm
Your future life that waits ahead
I would destroy it, I would harm

So go and leave my heart alone
Like who I was before this day
I want to see you chase your dreams
Spread your wings and take your way

But one day I want you to know
That love is real and will not die
I'll keep this love forevermore
Together with my whitest lie.
A feeling that once was...
Now is a different day.

Help Me
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2016
Help me decide on matters that always make me cry
Help me understand how things would happen and or why
Explain to me the reasons of staying in a room
Where no love is present and everyday's like a doom

What would I do to be happy, how would I attain my peace?
I feel like locked in a cage, how can I feel at ease?
I cannot do what I like,  I do things that please people
I make others happy but I cannot hear my own heart's call

Can you look at my chains,  here keeping these weak hands?
How can you set me free from this heavy and aching bond?
I made a mistake,  I know,  do I deserved to get this prize?
To die without happiness,  to live seeing what's not nice

Help me to see that there is end, help me to find that open gate
Help me to see that death's beauty is still the best I have to wait
Help me to look at my own face in front of life's unfair mirror
Help me to lay down with a smile on my graveyard forevermore.
Just a passing emotion. Musing on sadness again. Just feeling the life of a hopeless one. Not intended to promote anything negative.

I do pray for happiness and longer life.

On your top
Pressed against yours
To take a nap

Arms were wrapped
Around your chest
We had that moment
As our best

You searched and found
The finest gold
A gem only you
Can touch and hold

I offered like wine
My kisses so sweet
We learned to dance
In the same beat

You gave your soul
United with mine
Moans were poems
With perfect rhyme

Tears flowed from eyes
For a little while
The pleasure and pain
Still made me smile

And your sweat drops
On my smooth skin
Like perfect rain
That I have seen

I can't forget
That perfect night
We shared one love
One dream, one light

I'll sleep on top of
The perfect space
For you are my home

That you have to abuse even this weak soul

Here I am...

How I love the hell you created
By caging me in your stone walls

Those children playing under the rain
With you, calling my name,

From the box of gifts I am keeping
