Anarchy
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
How I used to wonder,
What you would wonder
When the skies were torn asunder.

Where the earth becomes molten
The seas turn to steam,
The universe unravelled at
It's seems.

We were lost and we burned
Reality still despite what we learned.
And from us fates love turned.

Tarnished,
Dehydrated in the heat,
Famished.

Drying out
Our minds faded,
Now we're dying out.

The bombs, War -
Tyrants buying out
Souls selling out.

And Anarchy ensues.
Not the most positive poem guys.
Love to all regardless

Respire
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
Respire,
I'm made of Fire.
From the soul
To the flesh.

Then In turn the soil,
Any who breath leave -
A timer, we're set to spoil.
So I won't walk with hesitation.

I'll live life without reservation,
Follow the brick road I chose.
My life's mine not a Gamble
Neither a game i can't lose.

If I chose right
Turn to what's good,
Turn to the light
I won't bruise.

But past hurt
And present optimism fuse.
The futures bright
But only if fate and ourselves
Choose right.

Burn and burn brighter
Learn and become a fighter.

Fire,
Life's Fury fueled
From respiration.
Live and don't burn out
Before expiration.
"Fire in Your Breath"
Couldn't choose a title...

For a King
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
Just one bite.
I won't waste it.
Just one taste,
I won't fight it.

Just me here,
A prize for a king.
Have no fear,
I'll fit like a ring.

I want you
Not to sound crass.
Or lack class,
But treat me ceremoniously,
Like Mass.

I can make a half whole,
Missing puzzle piece for your soul.
To see the diamonds rise from coal.
Rising right out from depressions hold.

Rising
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
Tossed and tossed aside,
You held me - cast me away,
In the swell, lost in the sway.

Fate has a cutthroat way
And we are held in her say.
And she plays, while our price we pay.

She Calculates while in
Endeavours lust we are lost.
She sees while we disindergrate.

My hates only love I can't
Intergrate.
I'm more than what was left
And I know more than what was
Right.

I'll just scream
Sing
And cry.

I won't die,
Fall
I'll fly.

I'll be more than what
Was left.
Life from ashes not left bereft.
Rising from the Ashes.
A poem about becoming stronger and working with Fate.

Moving Beyond
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
All the fuel you poured on me,
I wouldn't  burn,
In just the same way you will not learn.

You didn't just take me,
You tamed me.
A lion like fire
You chiselled me to size.

I'm left prim,
but still no ones prize
And I despise how
My eyes turned from gold
To green.

How I went from a sight
To being unseen.
How you made me cold,
Feel deranged and act mean.
How I dimmed before a light I thought was brighter.

Now on a path much lighter,
How thought and remembrances
Make my heart that much tighter.
But in life to live one must be a fighter.

I can burn
Like the sun,
Learn the universe
And become one.

I can move beyond
All that's bound me,
I can be fond
Someone else found me.

Lessons
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
You can't see the light.
The candle in the dark,
Is lost to you.

No amount of love
Can conquer you.
I'm lost to you.

You lost yourself
And claw at my health.
I needed to regain a
Sense of self.

I needed to count
The love as true wealth.
And disregard all else.

Because without Family
Love or even yourself,
You are left with nothing else.

I count my blessings,
And with that
All else lessens.

Through trials and tests
This world is wrought
With lessons.
Sometimes you need time for you.

Pagan Soul
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
You thought me flora to be arranged.
In the muck with the fauna,
Let me be deranged.

Let me run wild, be feral.

Let me run skyclad amidst the
Trees.
Don't bind me to your reality.
Don't imprison me in your
Model of Patriarchy.

Let me dance to the moon
And sing wildly in the wind.
Encaged I'll be left enraged -
Combusting from within.

Late Night,
We meet up
And we're ******* again.

Is the the ***,
Or the company.
I'm your ex,
Is he not cutting it.

Cause I could cut you to
Pieces.
I'm a Pisces with a wordsmiths way.
You know with luck I've held my sway.

Now I'm reducing myself,
Degraded for you
Nothing changes
Even my looks were graded by you.

I'm done with you,
And I think Fates
Fed up with your ****,
I did myself a favour
When I abandoned ship.

Burn Again
Harry Roberts Sep 2017
Air fills my lungs,
Though hollow they be.
Blood circles in cycles,
Sustaining the absence in me.

I had fire,
Life - I had passion.
But I stilled, what was once
Suspended fell and ended.

I hadn't initiative,
What dropped was left
Unmended.
Cracks snaking out
Before shards breaking out.

No marks on this Ivory
Though this Ivory hard to mar.

I reignite -
My Feilds of Fury:
I let the heat warp my mind,
I allow transformation,
May I transmute:
Let my blood become Gold,
My bones diamond, and my
Organs oil for all to feast.
Burn again
Let life teach you
Learn again -

A strange one cunjoured up from somewhere.

My Own Making
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
The clock indicates time.
But endlessly eternally lost,
Swallowed in a black hole.

One of my own making,
My own doubts and fears collide
Cataclysmically, a Vortex to all near.

Leaving me barren, battered and bruised.
Gave my all but still got used.
I effervesce...
No. I sublimate.

All my doubts I hope to
Eliminate.
Fears to strength I'll
Stimulate.

Give me back my soul,
Build me,
But I'll make myself whole.

When you held me,
Half you made me
And from truth you severed me
But to lies you tethered me.

Like a storm you'll weather me,
Savour the taste of your saviour.
And lost I lost all favour.

Eruption
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
The world is close to shattering.
Tyrants, Heartless Pychopaths -
Lead the world to volcanic ends.

Where the pressure builds,
Heat rises, Volume increases.
The Chamber cannot take it,
It overflows.

And the fauna gets burnt, Dead,
The flora - Ashes.
& the people consume.

Consume until consumed,
Devoured completely.
And they themselves are
To Blame.

We burn to embers
With the cinders,
Ashes left,
All that's left?

We had sight,
But blind with flase promises.
Blinded by fright,
But remember,
Darkness is blinded in the light.

Paths taken -
Others lost.
When you turn
What's the cost?
En route

Sun, Moon, Fire & Spirit.
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
Sun
Moon
Spirit
& Fire.

I awaken, sliver light slivers
In slashes stark against skin.

I burn in the night
A Sun awakened by moonlight.

I am consumed completely,
Devoured deliciously,
The moon won't sustain
The sun it has awoken.

But the cycle continues
Caught in what I saught
& love how no one
"Day" is the same.

Life reminds me I'm sane
But I remember to ensure I live.

I remember to ensure I forgive,
Love and cleanse my pain.

Sun
Moon
Spirit
& Fire,

Love in myself
My health
sparked true desire.

Eased, forget -
But am I pleased.

Life is what you make -
Happiness - I found for my own sake.

Moonlight  Sunlight
Shared in duality,
Happiness -
You shape your own
World in reality.
I personally like this poem. Perseverance, Love, Life, Forgiveness.

Spike
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
Silky black fur,
He shined with silver flecks in the light.
Golden stray patch an inch on your paw.
How I wondered, a Black Labrador with a golden patch on his paw.

I have no recollection of your arrival.
You always was.
Spike, with the silver spikes on his black collar.

My friend when I didn't  understand what friendship was.
Maybe a tutor in compassion,
Would be what you always was.
To my first Dog.

Can I fold your clothes?
Like I fold my opinion
Into smaller and smaller
Fragments of thought.

Can I hold your hand?
Without you sinking
In quicksand.
Left with noughts

No crosses, no kisses?
I'd thank God but he left me
But if not, only to test me.
And I can't find myself.

I can't deduce the deluded
Chaos of this Labryinth.

But I can try,
Die.
Fail or fly.

Harry Roberts Aug 2017
Fly with the wind.

The moon hung high
And she sings songs
Sung for millennia.

We fail to hear her somber notes.

We repeat and resurrect
Past woes and lost loves,
Lose our minds in chaotic rythm.

Ashes scatter in the wind.

We lose ourselves
Only to repeat
The same actions.

Zodiac - Aries
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
Dont overplay your hand,
I'm the type of Aries to
Throw caution to the flames.

Set a fire
And watch it burn
Watch as you learn
Yearn for the heat of my rage
Lust. My love oxidised you to rust.

I blush
I digress
And I rush.
If that's not living
When 100 I'm giving,
Then I'm already lost on forgiving.

When through dust I'm sieving,
Looking for Hope
And for my mind to cope,
Truly lost yet never got the scope.
Looking through a different lense,
Cleanse, forgive and love true friends.

Life's what you shape it,
And I will find form,
Lived in chaos:
Thought before the storm.
Though now no longer
Find myself torn,
In life anew I am reborn.
Trying to channel some Aries.

Changes
Harry Roberts Aug 2017
Same place
Fear has become commonplace.
Yet we try to create a safe space,
Space everywhere but not always safe.

Same place,
Now Hate won't hide
But time we'll bide
In the past tried.

But time changed with the tide
And the tide changes again.

Ride with the waves,
Don't sink or stay in the
Same place.
Let Fear dissolve
Love and let yourself evolve,
Find strength within your resolve.

Burst into Flames
Blameless,
Truly be shameless.
But be love, compassion
And be loved with passion,
Fashioned for this life...

As arrogant as Zues
Yet you hold no throne.
Ambitious like Apollo
But you hold no light, foresight,
You find yourself blind.

Endless and stormy
You challenge Poseidon,
Endless and Gloomy
You find Heart and Home (Hearth)
In Hades.

Styx couldn't Hate,
Lethe found what was
Left to late.
Caught in the Current
Water burns like Lava.

Demeter couldn't nurture me
How I withered before harvest.
Prosephonie found light in the darkness and led me through.
Hecate told me tales of time and time before Chaos began.
She found a spark where my soul was left essenceless.

Though Styx couldn't cross me,
And remembrance my curse left by Lethe.
I found the light my Goddesses gave me,
And I praise these names
as they continue to save me.

Late night- drunk text then you're calling me.
"I'm moving on"- you're stuck still stalling me.
But you can't take your cake and eat it.
Or lay quietly in the grave you made.

You're stuck still trying to claw me into the mud, saw me apart and keep me from feeling whole.

You're struck still,
How I left you stuck still.
Yet I let you **** still.

I quartered my cake and have a bite nightly,
When in your arms I'm held tightly,
I forget to hate you:
I forget that I'm the body you buried beneath a grave.
I still hope: that each other, we will save.
How we carry on doing the same things, caught in a cycle.

See me on the flip side
Meet me on the hill side
When you see through bruised eyes.

Let me know how it feels,
Only when in your mind:
You didn't care when in mine it festered.

The sea couldn't wash away,
The stain was oily on my skin,
How fragile we're only paper thin.

Saw the sea on the flip side,
Horizon painted pink shades
And green when it met the sea side.

Feel free when you see
All what's seen is part unseen
Truths perspective subjective.

Let me know how it feels,
Only when in your mind:
You didn't care when in mine it festered.
When you can see multiple truths and how they don't mesh together. Perspective and subjective.

They don't know
I'm still suspended
In space, beautiful blooms deadheaded.

I couldn't flow
Couldn't write.
Blinders blocking sight,
Words unspoken in my throat,
A sea of death I wasn't afloat.
All that was lost was robbed

Left alone with with a heart that throbbed.

But I didn't understand,
Now I do,
All that rain reaps only more rain,
You must find fire for every droplet of water.
Find the inferno and burn to live,
Biologically driven, life's not yours to give.

You will breath,
You have your breathe,
You fight death
And will not leave.
You have choice
Just use your voice.

Mice still blind,
Twice across sliced
Bound and Diced.

Full of false starts.

Full of Fool Stars

You blinded mice,
Greed doubled twice
When you played the heist.

You were fire

Together we detonate
Yet still we resonate.

Into you I fall deeply
My energy: lost, awashed or equal
I never found my equal
Would I dare where gamblers may?

Or fall back into dismay
Would I run like I'm unseen
Or return to the same routine.
Could I? Head under the guillotine.

Would I?
Red in a different scene
Lost but still keen
Love still never mean.

Was I really me.
Did I really change.
Did I truly grow?

Gentle Rain
Harry Roberts Jul 2017
The rain gently falls like mist,
Grey sky mysterious and still.
The fresh air scented with rain
Provides comfort and a sense of relief.

The clouds sit quietly,
While the wind blows lazily,
And the world seems happy at rest-
If not contented for the time being.

The world will wake again,
Under light of a new day,
Nourished and replenished
By the waters of gentle rain.
Written while waiting for the train in the misty rain

Warriors Prayer
Harry Roberts Jul 2017
Full Moon burning white
Warriors Hearts filled with Might,
Darkest Night, they channel Light.
Cowards souls ripe with fright,
See only lies and not what's right.

Sight Blighted, Blinding Bright.
Warriors heart-strings strung so tight,
As they charge into the fight,
Freed from thought of their plight,
Glide on air, Soaring Kite.

Lovers Love
Harry Roberts Jul 2017
Swallowed his rage
& Earthed his Thunder,
On our path
We walk in wonder.

Soothed his mind
When gears did grind,
Engulfed his desire
In my Ocean of Fire.

Took his hand in Plains of Sand,
Or when at the Creek,
Feet submerged,
I kissed his cheek.

Wherever we'd go,
Our love and passion would grow,
Perfect Bliss, my Auras glow
Happy now with a pace that's slow.

Lazy, Summer, Lake-Dipping,
Frenzied Passion, Hearts Flipping,
Down the Aisle I walked while skipping,
Sealed with a kiss that felt so fitting.

Music of Gods
Harry Roberts Jul 2017
Discordant notes crescendo and Harmonise at the point of ******.

The music of gods, exquisite to ones ears. Yet quite maddening for their minds.

Discordant notes crescendo and Harmonise at the point of ******.

How this phenomenon occurs is a mystery. All things that oppose each other converge at the point of Life.

Discordant notes crescendo and Harmonise at the point of ******
Short, free written poem.
