Everything eventually comes to an end
Upon stage actors curtsy and take a bow
The show is over, down with the lights
Away with the chickens, away with the cow
Good night stars and good night moon
The end

Each day I strive to make someone happy
And feel very special, laugh and smile
When this mission has been accomplished
Then I can lay and enjoy my bed awhile
peacefully sleeping like an angel, almost
With the sweetest of dreams

Do you ever feel like you’re in a dream
Forever riding on a roller coaster
Slowly, very slowly, going up and up
Until you’ve gone so very high
Fingers touching clouds in a blue sky
Then down you come so very fast
The future has now become the past
If so, just know you’re not crazy
You’re at life’s carnival having a blast!

True friendship is a very lovely flower
Most beautiful of all flowers
With  petals elegant and fragile
A fragrance so enchanting
And an exotic color so rare
Other flowers can't help but stare

How do we save a country and every citizen?
Is there a big red button to rewind us back in time?
When life wasn't so complicated
When so many magicians didn't rule the land
Handing everyone rocks
and saying they're high quality diamonds
How to solve this ongoing problem
There must be a solution

There's a place where hands of a clock never move
A place where things are never changing
A place well hidden, not many could ever find it
Only wild animals and a flock of crows

Once upon a time the place was probably on a map
Until early one morning someone awoke
And threw their finger in the air and loudly cried
Eureka! Let's remove the railroad tracks!

Where is Autumn's chill?
Heat of summer lingers,
Like rings on my fingers

We've been captured
almost like shrimp
in a fisherman's net

With many long arms
pulling us down
Deeper into waves

October is an Octopus
All pink and grey
With big starry eyes

Leading us to Mystical
Places unknown
Places unexplored

Where in pastures sunflowers flourish and grow
And herds of cattle can be heard deep and low
Where once natives lived and hunted with pride
There's still a prairie stretching far and wide

Partly filled with suburbs by those in high places
hiding behind masks and fake smiles on faces
Upon this land our nearest star shines so bright
And this forever night has changed with light

And those natives once in possession of this land
Some fought bravely with tomahawk in hand
Many were slain like slaying wild beasts of field
Cause they love the land and wouldn't yield

Now all their survivors were quickly led faraway
Traveling for many a full moon and a sad day
As some became deathly ill, laid down and died
Snowflakes continued to fall as many cried

My brand new ionic hairbrush is the best invention ever!

Who could ever imagine this incredible tool
could perform such amazing feats of magic!

My hair is so smooth, sleek and shiny
I truly feel like a superstar!

Honestly, If the inventor were here,
I would kiss him and drive him around
in my car!

Upon this realm of existence
There's only I
In this space and Time
There's only I
In a world full of people
There's only I


Yet, the thought of You
Makes it all worthwhile

These velvet dreams of tomorrow
are positive and bright
Tomorrow is going to be amazing
And sleep is for tonight
Tomorrow will be unforgettable

A poet's dream isn't like any others
Poets dream of translucent colors
Colors of a summer sunset,
Palest pinks, slivers of purple
and tangerines

Poets dream of arising with a phoenix
And flying far beyond tomorrow
Beyond space's emptiness,
Beyond a storm blue horizon,
Beyond infinity

Poet's dream of love immeasurable
Poets laugh a genuine laugh,
Poets cry a genuine tear
A poet's dream born of passion
Born of inspiration

Poets carry dreams in their heart
Dreams of love, dreams of life
Dreams lasting a lifetime
Dreams even of a forgotten star
Dreams carry a poet far

Almost thought I would never see rain ever again
Yet today the rain came down by buckets

What a spectacular sight!
How amazing!
Water falling from the sky!

And those clouds floating way up high
What a performance
How do they hold so much water?
Big clouds and Little clouds

Almost seems like an impossible illusion
One that can't be real

With every star that's served it's purpose
Shining in a constellation, shining bright,
Alas, then succumbing to a star's death,
An explosion of a blinding white light

Listen and hear a multitude of angels cries
And a trumpet blowing saying goodbye,
Throughout the long sad crimson night
For every star's special that's born and dies

So I traveled to a curious shop, so quaint
At the farthest corner of the earth
Where they shop, genteel ladies that faint,
And then swoon at the drop of a hat

Upon arrival I turned the brass handle
Opened the door and peered inside
The place was well-lit by a single candle
Suddenly the door swung open wide

And yes, I was met by a charming smile
"It's a lovely day is it not, little miss?
Come my dear, shop, and stay a while"
Then whoosh! A long black cape!

Candle flickered, room became breezy
As dark shadows danced in corners
And strangely I began to feel uneasy
As I asked for Fiction and Fable

Time keeps moving forward,
Always on the go

Sometimes fast, sometimes slow

Time never stays in one place
too long

O' love!  O' love!  O' love!
Your kiss, Your sweet kiss

Your -to die for- kiss is poison

Tho inside your honey kiss
Where I die a thousand deaths,

I find a taste of Heaven

Remember the cold, cold winter not so long ago,
when I traveled on a great journey all alone?

An unfortunate and unforgettable journey it was,
A journey into the deep unknown

A journey finding me traveling, traveling so far,
To speak with those gatekeepers of the dark star

Underneath an oak tree,
Somewhere in the forest deep

True ink, if I've read this once
I've read it a thousand times
It's fast becoming a cliché

Inside the dark room
there is no light
to see

I opened the door,

Sometimes poetry becomes an obsession
keeping someone awake

When one thousand years has passed us by,
I hope mother earth is still beautiful
And there's fruit trees and grass so green,
And fresh air to breathe that's clean

There's animals alive of every variety,
fireflies, ladybugs, and honeybees
I hope there's an amazing blue sky,
with songbirds together flying so high

And I hope most of all flowers still grow,
and there's a winter with falling snow

How am I suppose to swim this mighty sea?

All my possessions have become an anchor,
an anchor of immense weight
Keeping me in this small vicinity

This territory known by the great white
and every sea creature
Will they come when hungry to visit me?

Lord knows I don't wish to be their next meal

Posessions
My posessions mean nothing
absolutely nothing!

I would give up every material thing
in my possession

Just to see my mother again

Without thought or care of where he was going,
He flew into the eclipse!

Now he's miles and miles away from home,
in a brand new neighborhood

What of his loving family and friends?
Suppose they will wonder where he's gone,
and maybe they will hope he will phone

Anyway I feel so terrible,
Little honeybee's out there all alone!

Today is such a lovely, beautiful day
The sky, I behold the simple beauty of the sky
Such a gorgeous shade of blue,
With lazy clouds floatin' slowly by

Upon this beautiful summer day,
I could almost believe I'm there
Lying upon the sandy beach of Carolina,
And nothing terrible could happen
upon a day such as this

Why can't I write words like you
Your words enchant my mind
Every fine  letter traced in ink
Giving me pleasure every time


Should I have written these words
Perhaps maybe not, maybe yes
Anyway, Good nite poet friends

What if we awaken tomorrow
and every nation speaks words of peace
and love from the heart

Fences and walls are broken apart
and borders are no more

What if every word spoken to your neighbor
is a word of praise
Joy and happiness would follow us
for the rest of our days!

Some warriors never have to struggle
When climbing tall mountains or so it seems
And others just begin their climb
And then roll back down

Well if you're one of the normal people
Rolling and rolling down the mountainside
Then just stop burning your energy
Focusing on those with their heads in the clouds
And envision yourself taking your last step


So keep climbing and climbing
Doesn't matter how long your journey takes
Someday you will reach the top
and be blessed with beauty
beyond compare

Just like the famous quote, you know the one
"Just keep climbing and climbing
Someday you will reach the top
or die trying"

Wonder is all around
Beautiful things are a wonder
Like the purple flowers
growing high on a mountain
where no one ever goes

Do you know we as humans have limitations
For instance, our vision is limited

For example, let's chat about the Wind,
From where does the wind come?

Is the wind a material thing?
Does anyone physically see the wind?

Yet, we know the wind is here or there
We see what the wind does..

Dust rules both, the day and night
A solo sun beats a very loud drum,
And skinny birds take off in flight
Still cowboys sing tunes and hum
Way up high the moon sails on by
In this place as big as the sky

Sailing across the southern skies
Tonight's crescent moon was so beautiful to see
And gazing upon this sight, I thought to myself
Is there anything more lovely?

You will see what I mean, log onto any internet site
Pick up your remote and turn on any station
Read your local paper, chat with all your neighbors
This is one more unbelievable investigation

Impossible! He's lying, she's lying, they're all lying
Things like this just don't happen in our nation
In this great land, people are down right respectable
Believe this everyone receives a proper education

See families with children are always kept together
Small children being raised by parents impeccable
Government entities aren't transplanting flowers
Check this, in this great land of morales acceptable

Would you believe one has their own perspective?
Half of what I said just may be true for all of you
On the other hand everything I said may be false
So if you choose, you can say the sky is baby Blue

Only some of us know the Truth!

Tomorrow will be much better than today
I will be the sole captain of my destiny
And if I'm sailing across the sea the wrong way
If my compass becomes cracked and broken
And I crash into the craggy rocks
When everything I possess into the sea has fallen
I will blame no one but myself

positivity, trying to keep afloat
sometimes life feels just like
a sinking boat

Second by second, minute by minute
Like twenty first century robots
The time keeper keeps periods of time
organized in individual slots

He dissects these periods methodically
Creating mysterious time lines
Cause that's his thing, his own thing
Just to blow away our minds

Recycle that old shirt
Donate, donate, donate
Be a hero, save the world
It's not too late!

Recycle, recycle, recycle
Don't be a dumb dumb
Recycle your glass, paper,
plastic, and aluminum

O' a happy little gnome family
enjoy sweet bread and butter
From behind a cascade of ivy
and a rainbow splash of color

There's a brick wall in a neighborhood not far
Though if I were an ant
might be like the distance of here to our star

Sometimes I transform into a fluttering butterfly
and over the grand impenetrable wall
I fly

Just to see what's on the other side

Yesterday when passing by the cemetary
There was a small family gathering
maybe was a friend, a family member
Or an ancestor from long ago

Even though I can't really say for sure
Cause I actually don't know
Only was the way those few people
were holding each other close

There was a feeling like a butterfly
caught on a mild gentle breeze
And like those dandelion petals
flying unexpectedly past me

Was that moment on second glance
When I knew in depths my soul
Was someone they loved deeply
and didn't want to let go

Nothing says summer like,
pails full of fresh berries
straight from the vine

Sometimes when you're driving all alone,
And wondering where did this question originate
"Why did the chicken cross the road?"
Life feels so beautiful, life feels like a dream
Until an armadillo makes you scream

Do you want to travel farther than you've ever been before,
And live a life worth living for?

An endless journey like you've never seen, enjoying every mile
Then just give a smile

And something more, just give like you've never given before
And help those who shower you with kindness

Just give a pretty flower, give a little love, a super special hug
And those who help you, give an extra dollar

And you know appreciating others isn't really all that hard
And can take you father than the brightest star

When I close my eyes
dreamin is such a nice surprise

When I close my eyes
I float away to dreamland
Endlessly floating
