This is a window on the world,
Written by a once time girl,
Guidelines for chicks and men,
A new set of commandments,
Take these for what they're meant,
Be yourself, all chicks and dudes,
Let it all go, we learn in life's long school,
Act the way you want to feel,
You can pretend smiles, which are real,
Do it now, procrastinate later,
Ignore distractions, they're to bait ya!
Lighten up, think of funnies,
Do stuff, even if you don't need money,
Be polite, stay in touch, friends old and new,
Be kind, not exploited, all of you,
Less is more of things to do......
New commandments from me to you!
Feedback welcome. Thoughts are thoughts.
Couldn't have dreamt this,
His tender first kiss,
Nibbled his lips,
Kissed my fingertips,
Kissed molasses hair,
Love his kissing flair.
Kissed a thousand times,
His mouth just rhymes,
Our attraction,
Love in action,
Lip sync bliss,
Love his kiss,
Kissing sublime,
Withstood all time.....

In walked the other woman,
Casting her net at the "Man",
At first, I felt timid,
Then I felt livid,
Threatened, indeed,
This is worth  a read,
The other woman was waiting,
Love anticipating,
Then I was awaiting,
All that manipulating,
"Marry him, other woman!
Please take this "Man"!
Please take him off my hands!
I'll give you champagne,
To remove this old pain!"
No, no, I'm still awaiting,
Other woman, do stop waiting........

Does my computer dream?
Is this puzzle what it seems?
What are a computer's dreams?
Maybe dreams exist in this machine,
The outsider in my room,
Designed to make us feel like fools,
Addictions seductive,
Hitech savvy so productive,
A puzzle, so it seems,
Does a computer ever dream?

Way back when, in olden days,
Did you all play those old board games?
Snakes and ladders, you see,
Internecine family rivalry,
The last snake does you in,
Then your little sister gets to win,
Then there's Monopoly,
Breeding ground for hostility,
"Having fun, all you kids?"
Who took off Monopoly's lid?
It's a big ******* of a game,
Sisterhood is never the same,
Way back when, in olden days......

Isn't football such an event?
Listen to the philosopher's lament,
Old Socrates barracked for his team,
In the AFL, worst you've ever seen,
Socrates gazed at the replay,
Groaned, "We lost again!"
So he drank hemlock and gin,
Slit his wrists, did himself in,
Drowned in his phony spa,
His ghost calls down from afar,
"The premiership is what is meant!"
Woe, Socrates' eternal lament!

Who really has world power?
Think on this while you shower,
If you own the coffee or tea,
You own the home, prithee,
That's molls' rules, you see,
"Do you want a cup of tea?"
Our magic word is 'please',
Be nice to tea ladies,
Or there's no more coffee or tea,
Is that power, or what?
Tea ladies rule, so what!

I touch your skin,
It keeps your insides in,
I touch your face,
Your smile of grace,
A touch of love,
Your blessing as a dove,
I touch your hand,
You're a pearl of a man,
You touch my heart,
I hope we never part,
The power of touch,
Can we ever love enough?

A stroll down memory lane,
Visit my old tutor again,
He always used to say,
"Wisdom, like beauty, comes with age!"
So, I meandered through life's long stage,
Now I'm old and ugly and grey,
Waiting for this wisdom to come with age......

When Elijah comes again,
We'll all turn the page of sin,
He is not the Lord,
But a voice of awe,
Heaven above, earth below,
Fire within, ever to glow,
Divine life and love on Planet Earth,
One vision and one dream,
Amity and no more bigotry,
One global fellow humanity,
Ceasing hostilities, such sin,
When Elijah comes again.
Inspired by a book on Theology. Feedback welcome.

Yes, there is football again today,
The melodrama in the usual way,
Like ancient dramas, the crowds,
The roars and chorus, free kicks allowed!
His team are losing again,
Do they have a winning vein?
Television the negative conduit,
He enjoys being sad, leave him to it!
Find something else to do in another room,
Yes, chicks can have crafternoon,
That's craft and reading for me and you,
Just throw chocolate at him and  zoom!]
Why? It's  a football afternoon!

Would that we were a tortoise, or a snail,
A portable house for a lifelong trail,
You could take your home without fail,
Add a letterbox for your mail,
A human tortoise or a snail,
A mobile home along the trail..........

Was Asimov a prophet?
Look at the rise of robots!
Can they gain artificial intelligence?
Isn't that what old Isaac meant?
When the slaves become our overlords,
Who invented that dumb thought?
Was Asimov a prophet?
Look at the rise of robots........

The road less travelled,
Personal choices unravelled,
You meet the wrong person in life,
You descend into his strife,
Best to stay remote and aloof,
"Write it a doctor's!" I say, you goof,
Where would my life have gone, eh,
Much ado about nothing today!

So, these are my piety years,
A Christian gal lives here,
Jesus is a sweet name, my dears,
He is still in his blessing  years,
Time to stop stressing with fears,
No need for crocodile tears,
In our co-dependency years,
Faith sets us all free, you see,
True liberation for you and me........

I arise, shower, get dressed, as normal,
Put on my black shoes, not so formal,
Where shall my boots take me today?
Why, off to my local church to pray!
Silent, alone, but not lonely,
Plaster saints, and God, and me, not only,
I walk away feeling blessed,
Because in these black shoes, I dressed,
These boots were made for walking, no less!

Long ago, way back when,
I was teaching five year olds then,
The funniest things happen to me,
One day I had different coloured shoes, you see,
One brown, one blue, gross, prithee,
Preps said very loudly to me,
"You're the silliest teacher we've ever seen."
So much for teaching them literacy,
The joke was on me, quite definitely,
Still, I guess I can survive anything,
It's called my worst day of teaching.......

Here's a thought,
Don't know if I ought,
What's faster than thought?
Thought momentum,
Like acceleration,
Concept velocity,
Thought rapidity,
Thinking celerity...
Upon reflection,
Thought momentum,
Is it the speed of light?
Thoughts so bright,
Here's a thought,
What's faster than thought?

I feel like a staple! Funny, eh!
I hold things together round this place,
In a mild-mannered old lady way,
Like the staples in a book,
I guess there's no need to sook,
I am a helping hand today,
Nothing lasts forever, eh?
Avoid  confrontations with the ex,
Who carries on like old T-Rex,
The old staple of their lives,
I would do stuff anyway, being kind,
Doormats do get exploited, eh,
I feel it's a staple kind of day!
Smile!!

Look at this, on April the Fourth,
A man torched his Porsche in Ringwood North,
Now, that is a headline to read,
Why did he torch his Porsche, indeed?
Well, for insurance, obviously,
So, he's in the manure, prithee,
Poor fellow got sprung, you see,
I do admire rhymes in literacy!

On love and astral travelling,
Through the stars we're wandering,
On the universe we're pondering,
My eternal love, Napoleon,
Intangible man, but  full of fun,
Our jewelled cloak of stars,
We've journeyed from afar,
Shape shifting, glittering,
On love and astral travelling,
I'm no Carlos Santana,
I have no scarlet bandana,
I am the oestrogen,
Old Josephine,
Where haven't we been?
I have no testosterone,
You're my "Yes, master!" Napoleon---
On love and astral travelling,
Sentimentally wandering,
Are you Angelus or Incubus?
Reminiscing, reflecting,
Comical groupies for loving,
On love and astral travelling......
A whimsy inspired by music, the Albatross.

My unrequited love poem.....
Outside my window,
Elegant ferns and flowers,
Lost in the crowd,
My intangible man,
Cute as a button,
My long distance lover,
My listless lips ravishing,
One day he'll come to me...
SURPRISE!!! SURPRISE!!!
There's no one there,
No empirical evidence
For this adoration, O Muse,
My unrequited love poem.
This is a whimsy.

Here's a verse to make you laugh!
You make me feel like an urban giraffe,
With a fabulously long neck,
What to do with that, by heck?
I see you far above the madding crowd,
Respect from afar is allowed,
I send you my feathered breath,
What do you do with that, by heck?
Did you know a giraffe can kiss?
For you, I pray nothing goes amiss,
A verse to you, sealed in bliss.....
I see you, far above the madding crowd,
Is respect from afar allowed?

Bad luck--eggs are now an allergen,
I shall never eat them again,
No soft boiled eggs,
Munched to the dregs,
No fluffy omelettes for me,
My lips turn blue, you see,
So, I placed all eggs on a centrifuge,
This is my cunning subterfuge,
I rotated them in this way,
Eggs flew off to space one day,
Launched as astronauts,
Chooks can't fly, I thought,
Bad luck-eggs are now an allergen,
I shall never eat them again!

THE WAY

The way through the wilderness is clear,
Impossible dreams come true, my dears,
Tolerance to be taught to the human race,
We're all sparked with mankind's grace,
There is a way through the wilderness,
Impossible dreams can be achieved, no less.
All children do play together,
Until dissuaded by adult's blether,
The way through the wilderness is clear,
Impossible dreams come true, my dears,
Kindness taught to the human race,
Universal smiles free on everyone's face,
The way through the wilderness is clear,
Impossible dreams to achieve, my dears.

I arise on the wings of the new day,
I thought of an adage to say,
Read and learn today,
"All men are born liars, okay?
They're all mad as snakes, let's say,
Given half a chance, any day,
They'll be bigamists, okay?
But when you reach the end of the day,
Not one is worth losing sleep over, let's say,
It's up to you who you love and trust, okay?
So, think on this, girls, today,
You might call it wisdom of the aged,
As you rise on the wings of a brand new day!

Today I awoke, not such a dope,
Aim to be more religious than the Pope,
Firing weapons of Peace,
With smiles I greet,
He smiles with our smiles,
Peace to beguile,
He works with our hands,
Bridges to other lands,
He walks with our feet,
Using smiles to greet,
In the long run, the Lord shall win,
As our day on Earth begins,
I awake and wish you all the best,
Through us, he gives us all a bless.

The world is watching and waiting,
We note Putin and Trump embracing,
Is it phony fear campaigning,
or into Armageddon we're racing?
Too many munitions we are creating,
So far, so good, is what I'm stating,
Why all this prevaricating?
No one should be participating,
Who is doing this manipulating?
The world is watching and waiting.......

They're bombing Syria tonight,
For chemical weapons, out of sight,
Whose democracy is at work here?
It'll all end in tragic tears,
Yes, they're bombing Syria tonight, no cheers,
Biggest losers are the civilians, dears,
We pray for liberty once held so dear,
A song for freedom needed, hear, hear!

This Christmas we want a cure for Cancer,
Cancer, that grave callous dancer,
We've all been touched by Cancer's Grim Reaper,
This a malady that has no barriers,

A cure for Cancer would surely bless,
That's what we want to say,
F.U. Cancer, begone by Christmas Day.

Hail, citizens of Earth,
Here is a morning verse,
Good morning, let's all bless,
Whatever happens, do not stress,
We woke up, now smile!

Reaching out across the lands,
Good morning, world,

Good morning, let's all bless,
Whatever happens, do not stress!

When a woman footy player explodes,
Read about it in this little ode,
She is so 'over' the antediluvian,
She knows what to do, some man,
Cleats to his groin,
End of his sirloins,
Off to the pub she went,
His supper was a non event,
A loud, proud f....ing moll,
No antediluvian's little doll,
A woman footballer explodes...
Thus concludes this little ode......

Kiss and spell,
Well, really, do tell,
Witches need spelling,
In their caves, for dwelling,
Relax and have fun,
For super Sunday fun,
Only there's clouds,
But fun still allowed,
Witches need spelling,
in caves for dwelling,
In each coven of one,
Relax, and have fun!

Regard 'Those Good Old Days'?
Bring smiles in own ways,
Writing a book, Any Excuse,
My GSOH is a'loose,
Went to football in past stage,
Good book, turn each page,
"The umpire's a cheat!"
"Yes, our goals incomplete!"
"Our game plan's the same!"
"Yeah, coach is to blame!"
"Let's go home!"
"Yep, home's we'll roam!"
"Leaving already?" Crowd roar,
"Spit the dummy, game's a bore!"
"See you next week!"
"At next game we'll peek!"
Smiling, I hit the sack,
Ignore football, top lifehack.
"Well, that was a long book.
"Those Good Old Days, worth a sook."

Let's have positive visions,
Despite our limitations,
Pray for peace explosions,
Focus on today's wellbeing,
Looking for silver lining,
Then we'll be future ready,
Slow and steady, slow and steady,
On the web, neurons wire together,
Then we'll fire global amity better,
We'll unleash  our minds,
In today's ripple in time,
Earthlings' magnetic fusion,
Despite human limitations,
Today, have some positive visions!

Is a book on Agnosticism non-fiction, as well?
Let's choose a book of literary spells,
Let's go to the library to dwell,
Let's spread the word of literacy,
Billions of people need to read,
Thoughts, ideas and opinions for free,
Would you classify --isms as fiction?
Is a book of Agnosticism non-fiction?
Is Atheism a true creed?
Fabulous negativity, Kafkas, prithee,
Come sit down beside me, let's read.

I was writing my list of the To-Do's
Here's food for thought for me and you,
As well as a daily To-Do list,
What of a To- Be List, do you think?
Let's all be grateful we woke up,
And can quench thirsts with a cup,
For our family and friends,
Thanks we give with no end,
Let's be creative, if we can,
Be a living legacy, for all man,
Let's all be smiling faces,
As we go around diverse places,
Let's be peaceful and calm,
For those in need, be a balm,
Let's be supporters of all that's good,
Let's have good intentions, if we could,
So what do you all think of that?

If we could chat to a film hero,
Would we learn more than zero?
Let's say we talk to Robin Hood,
Was he really all that good?
Romping around in hosiery in the woods,
Was Robin Hood, in bed, really so good?
What about Maid Marian in that snood?
Did she have more than a fling?
With his archer's sling?
Stuff of legends, film stars,
History of those days afar.......

Ignorance ignites bigotry,
