Dandelions Hair was long and yellow like pale dandelions; Complimenting blue eyes, and white skin. I was drawn into such rare beauty, such new and unexplored mystery. New girl in town, a new taste of envy in the air. I befriended you; I wasn't so quick to judge. I studied you closely. I gained your friendship quickly. I came to know you, and the worst parts of you. You lied so beautifully; Manipulation to a fine perfection.   Still I followed you, opened my heart up and fell weak. You used me all up. Drained me out; Out of patience, out of friendship, out of love. Everybody hated you. They still hate you, and now I do too.

would you listen or laugh at me            for claiming love's an ocean? neither a knife, nor a blindfold                                                       ...but a sea. there's a human-borne catastrophe.                        cast your eye upon those with no share.           the contents of their buckets are polluted and impure yet all but 5% goes unexplored. do you find yourself choking in your sleep?   why watch the waves from safe dry ground                                                   when you could delve in deep? do you live in fear of unchartered seas                                                    and life still left unfound? are you overheating if only not to drown? we 'love addicts' are water children. i run outside and taste the rain.   let's go! let's drink! let's swim! let's bathe                    and watch it seep into our pores                          -- it escapes me how you stay indoors!

this door exists, stately and staunchly it stands, disheartening and terrifying it remains. the door is unlocked, yet cannot be opened, for in it, a path in time... one decision that can affect everything [such as my choice to wear the necklace you adore, which lead to you noticing me for the very first time, or my idea to play you the song that you fell in love with, which i can no longer listen to] ...for in this door, one path is intimidatingly located. every bone in my body, every last muscle, tendon, ligament each artery, each vein, each capillary every single nerve, even each microscopic cell, implores me not to open this tempting door... [it is almost as if my hand refuses to grasp the handle, to unleash the unknown upon me, the colossal chain of events that would ensue] the immensity of the unfamiliar, the unexplored, tends to perturb me. change is unnerving and is almost as chilling as an abandoned graveyard at midnight. but i bring my mind back to the door, yes! this preposterous door that i have contrived for myself. why is the **** so easily turned? why does it not put up somewhat of a fight, at least jolt me suddenly, as to frighten my curious heart? it is a constant battle between my body my mind and my heart as to which doors to open and which ones to leave ever so steadfastly closed. but never once has there been such a struggle for them to reach an understanding. somehow my heart, [even though a fraction of me, a fist, dripping in blood] is prevailing for the moment. my heart reaches for the handle, attempts to unclose the door... yet, with the best of its ability, withstanding my strong-willed and obstinate heart, my powerful body and commanding mind overcome this hostile takeover, and the door remains shut. it is my body, my skillful mouth, my soft, rose lips, my elegant tongue, and my vocal chords... all of these pieces must contrive the words, conceive the change, which will unveil the path that will forever alter us... slowly, opening the door. being as in love with you as i am, i will not let you slip away from my arms right now. but when we are not together [*i wish you’d have been there, i needed you there*] i stare at this humbling door. if i wait too long, i’ll forever lose you; for it is you who will make this choice for me, opening your own door, fearless and dauntless.

De-winged and flightless          is the dragonfly               that tried to slip by                        in my slipstream, It found instead the pickup           traversing the alleyways                of my convoluted imagination. I don’t know why I’m driving,           ever driving someplace                 unrealized and unexplored. I feel so disconnected, I feel so disrespected by the world                 sometimes But that’s not fair            it has been good to me. I feel so disconnected         sometimes and yet it comes in times            when I’m most consumed                 most surrounded. Maybe I’m just tired         and the walls around me quiver only from the struggles of my waking eyes, Maybe I’m just bitter         that I can’t have the perfect life                  and feel as if nothing could be better, Maybe I’m affected         by this liquid life I’m draining from my cup                  in hopes of finding a different day                                             at the bottom. Is it jealousy that lingers in my mind         or mere longing tinged with a heavy                  dose of confusion? I am confused. And yet I’m still alive         unlike my dragonfly                   and so I stumble onward. -BRD

In this journey We walk into the unknown The clock’s hands Drag us towards it A day packed with surprises Our plans do not matter We seem to deny the fact Unknown is our journey Afraid of the known Created by our imagination What have we created? In the unknown we have to delve To look for the right answers We have to be aware When we step into the unexplored To be a willing learner We have to be accepting

Yank myself out of bed Peel the film of sleep from 'round my head It's 4:00 AM And all the world is dead. It's 4:00 AM and all the world is dead. From the streets every man has fled. But in hours it again shall be Brimming with potential; energy set free. I assemble my appearance. Staring into the mirror, I say to myself: "One last time. "One final tour." The door is open, before it I stand To face morning's faint chill Surrounded by paling blue. There! The first bird's trill. The air is sweet And free of smog. The faintest fog Is draped on the trees. The empty street beckons And freely I obey. I have things I need to do Before the commencement of the day. I pass the playground on the corner, Where I wasted time as a child. Where many a battle was fought And we had adventures in the wild. Past the playground and to my left There is the river bank Where I went fishing with my father And my friends and I made our mothers mad: Where we lit our little fires And we had our first drinks. Where we shared our first joint And came to talk and think. Our school is down the way. We all can safely say It's the place where we first learned Classes and books have less to say than the real world. We became: Artists. Athletes. Academics. Our achievements Are scrawled upon The stone walls That lined that same river. A little further on, And there's the little store Where I kissed my first fleeting love Just outside the door. I keep walking, I keep walking, Until I reach the shore. I put my back against a rock And rest on that sandy floor. The life that I'll soon be leaving Lies behind me asleep While I watch the sun lazily rise Over the mysterious, unexplored deep. I built myself in this town And it built me as well. But I cannot stay much longer: In a few hours I will bid it farewell. Will I ever make it back? Will I ever return To trace the scrawlings by the riverbank With bare fingers full of nostalgia? Nothing at all is sure. Therefore I must take this last chance To make my final tour.

I am darkness I am light, I am chaos I am might, lies and truth unite, Fear and bravery, envy with hatred and love finally combined, I am the difference between illusions and dreams, nothing as it seems, Nightmares and mirrages, a realm of infinity and finite by its means, I am fusion and fission, with one simple yet very complex misssion, Energy and indolence, a wall, another fence, questions upon answers If small lies give rise to grand falsities, what is the truth gonna bring ? A place where you should be able to feel reality and fantasy's sting, Apathy and concern unite, come closer I don't really bite, trust me, My teeth look sharp, yet they are blunt, you can rant or stay calm, I am a living death wandering yet standing still, does it make you ill? Generosity and greed are both present while they are missing, still! Control the lies of your uncontrollable tounge, listen to the silence, Could we possibly agree that this unanimity relies in total dissension? I am the discouragement for your precious, little yet pure intentions, Aimlessness for hope of a future unexplored yet near enough to grasp I am the rue in pride, a lamp without light, elusive but not transient, A harmonic ramgage, riots over the horizon in undefined dark light, I am malevolent and benevolent, bent yet straight, right behind you, What am I ? ~ Umi

Agreed, that love is attraction - though not only surface sensual, as you maintain, not only toward the external - But that sweet involuntary pull is also inward for expansion; for interior sifting and resolution. Love is primarily attraction to unexplored depths of the self. - fr

She has dated boys before. Boys who beat her Boys who ***** her Boys who did nothing wrong at all But still did not feel "right." One of them made fun of her Told her she must be some kind of lesbian (As if that was an insult) If she did not want to have *** with him. She smiled something sad on the outside To deflect To forget To hide behind. She thought And what if I am? What does that make me? It's a question that wanders into the unexplored ruins Of an unkempt mind. A boy meets boy love story is next on the list. They both play football And think that means they must both be "players." Really, they're falling for each other With one swift and concise movement. Boy A cannot tell his parents As he comes from a rowdy and traditional Italian line. Boy B is getting fed up And yet waits, patiently For his one and only to express this flaring emotion A love, unexpressed. Their families, churches and culture Thinks they can change who they are. They use different, cruel tactics. Beat the gay out of him Excommunication *Force her to have *** and she will turn straight* You tell the world that they are an Abomination Atrocity Mutation And yet, I ask this. If the Bible was a Holy deity's, a God's message of eternal love As any good Christian, as I am supposed to be, would proclaim Then how can it be used to justify Acts of such hate and genocide? "I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak" (Matthew 12:36) I hope you are prepared for your Judgment Day.

I said I'll meet you by the water Just follow the path down the shore. Follow me across the world, to a place that's left unexplored. We'll carve our names into the tallest tree, reaching up towards the heavens and skies. We'll count the stars as we leave, to the other side of the island. Drag a stick through the sand, drawing tiny infinities. and then we will sleep in the trees, it's safe, trust me. Look at the skies and watch the clouds roll by, they were all ours. We traced constellations with our fingers, and talked in the language of the stars, so they smiled back at us and sang us songs to sleep. There is an island named after us. A legend of a pariah duo. Oh, the stories this place will hold.

The sky is painted a pale orange and blue I'm just out there thinking of you No way, no how to ever break through But with a paddle in hand you know that's untrue A wannigan, a duffle, a heavy deluth An impenetrable vessel, a wood canvas canoe Unexplored nature, a spirit renewed All with friends, an unstoppable crew No need to run, no need to prove Rise with the sun, incredible views There's always a portage, skeg on the boots But who can stop walking our unfenced zoo We do what we do, there to feel, be, and move

My love for you is not a tragic beautiful love story such as Romeo and Juliet. My love for you is like the love story of the moon and the sun. My love for you is a dying star ready to burst and create a giant black hole. My love for you is like the universe, a beautiful enormous unknown. My love for you is an unexplored galaxy that fascinates the most philosophic poets. My love for you is like Venus, too beautiful for the eyes, but, come closer and it will burn you to the ground. My love for you is like Neptune, too distant and too cold. My love for you is like Pluto, even though people don't talk about it anymore, he's still there, screaming for recognition, screaming "please, I'm still here, notice me", a silent cry that makes you wonder that if a planet as beautiful and as unique as Pluto can be forgotten, why can't I forget something so fragile and small? My love for you is like the love story of the moon and the sun. The sun dies every night to let the moon breathe. They will always love one another but they will never touch each other. They love at distance. They rarely meet, they rarely have the chance to be together. But when they do, they create the most gorgeous phenomenon that you will ever see. Someday the sun will explode, someday the moon will disappear, someday their love will die and there's going to be nothing here to tell the story about how they loved so fearlessly. And that's how I know that our love is like the sun and the moon. Too distant to touch. Too beautiful to go unnoticed. Too cold to burn out. Too sweet to be bitter. Too precious to not be treasured.

In lonely moments I stroll the waning memories when love pure smiled blissfully deep within a fawning heart a wistful melody arises untainted like a steaming enslaved passion                          breathlessly released                               unrestrained,..                                    evident                     as the pressed and dried flowers           cuddled between life's ardent petaled pages,                          bookmarks of the heart                          traces of the wild bouquets                          that often soothingly caress’d                          the energizing tingles                            inflaming a tantalizing touch                          the yearning  empty voids                          feverishly undressed,                          traced in the hidden sands                          of unexplored oceans..                                                   though time and distance make the bereft heart grow helplessly fonder, memories fade softly as the summer breeze befalls,                             as gentle feather’d touch                          the evanescent sunset afterglow                          where the earth and sky align                          the dimming of the day          loving can heal the poet’s bleeding words, loving can mend your soul ―                          the perennial dawning of an                          unpromised new day                          will someday come again         bequeathed like the bluebird’s mirthful song to bring forth nascent wild flowers’ blossoming petals               flourishing in the meadow of my heart                  Someone you used to know

Sailor. Come back Its your boy's birthday today They brought you boxed in a coffin day before Was that the present he should've expected? Laced with garlands With a spread of the National Flag on top Sailor I know its been your dream To conquer unexplored lands Its been your fantasy To achieve heights beyond your reach But what about your boy He sleeps with the fighter plane clung to his heart You need to finish that for him I run my fingers over his carved name As if your hands were still at work Sailor Come back Not for me, not for your parents For him Him, who talks to your photograph every night and morn How do I explain to him What exactly do I say Sailor Its okay He saw your body He's been in shock He cannot shake the image off Of your cold hands and face And why you wouldn't come out He's died somewhere in his heart Its not okay but its okay I hope you understand I'll try my best to meet you Maybe in some other lifetime.

The moon is out At her usual time Only the sky is bright Blended in white clouds A blue background Kissed by the sun's rays on the other side As the moon enjoys Her unexplored view She is blown away By all the natural colors Vibrant and alive I am, Fascinated by this image The sun and moon Share the sky In the spring The love that radiates In contrast As they beam in unison In circular beauty A moment in the universe That proves us We are all connected In some way Our very own yin-yang On display to teach us Significance of our existence Jl 2016

You were the stranger with which I fell in love; You were the emptiness that became my own fulfillment; You were the outline that absorbed every colour of the spectrum when you spoke to me; You were the face of a man whose soul became my greatest fascination; You were the new unexplored place which became my truest home; You were the one I never knew, but I always loved.

Unknown Destinies
*How I wish to float upon your breast Soft and placid as a glass lake, windless Breathless But to delve into valleys Unexplored, keeper of buried treasures I trek throughout, wandering Aimless deliverance, unspoken promises Intricacy of intimate embrace I weave in my fingers, passion Spill me, leave kisses like ghosts Translucent memories Moist with seduction Delicious droplets of enticement Proposing infatuation, falling from your lips Illustrious little allures Swim through me Serpentine twisting contours Wrap me in flesh, consumption Stares, to reiterate a longing Convey this truthfulness Honeyed words of desire Think not to deny yourself this moment Make love to white whispers Embedded in the mouth of temptation Take no responsibility Let movement be freely expressed Body caressed Comforting red embers Of lustful flame Spin tales of time and tryst Inhale the sweeter aromas Entwine with immaculacy Reciprocate sensuality, a pair Two Two with a twist And many other turns*

let me wish upon a star, not to light up the entire universe, just to cause a shimmer, in someones pitch black life, just to add a glow, in a few tiny dreamy eyes, just to give some warmth, to any cold hapless soul, just to cast a ray of hope, to the seafaring men out there, just to lighten an unexplored path, to those in search of adventure, just to reflect the hidden evils, to those repenting souls, just to brighten a few more lives, before melting away to nothingness.......

silent prayer
Brought forth from a darkness so secure, baby boy relentless in the pursuit of education gazed upon the egg shell walls and sterile environment. Breathing as if it were natural. A construction of steel and concrete was the new cocoon , the window was an eye to a neoteric world. Bright white lights shone from within and a dull foreboding cloud loomed beyond the glass for the child to appreciate. Mother exhausted collapsed sighing. She is the antidote to all that is evil, she is the mother to the world. A usually stick-thin figure now distended but leisurely relaxing. Nursing her son as if it were natural. Swooning nurses swaddle infants, the original factory workers. Substantial days grafting, workhorses prancing throughout aseptic halls. The heroines of our world. A tribe appears from dust clouds, over the dunes, panting, half-alive. Heavenly Ethiope arriving in time for the world to begin. Tumescent in her ecclesiastic luminescence bearing a King destined to travel great distances primed for expulsion from the cimmerian safety of the womb. The seas of the earth accumulate before the small band of tall-standing creatures of exquisite anthropomorphism. Creatures from across the great unexplored continent at the centre of our world gathered in frenzied crowds. The Elephants marched in earth shattering herds, the lions of the Savannah put aside their differences and sat amongst the wild dogs of Ethiopia and the grévy's zebra, the dibatag stood and eagerly waited. Shrews, mice, gazelle, otters, cheetahs and giraffes all surrounded the tribe. Taking a silent vow and allowing stewardship to be passed along to a new generation. Every mother is the mother of the earth. Her earth, the personal concept of earth that only she may understand. Both children are connected by the planet they learn to walk upon. Connected by a thousand generations but connected nonetheless. They are one and the same. Each bought into a world in which they have no knowledge, each merely a slate eager to be scrawled upon by the elders of this fine rock.

The Light of the World and the Beginning of Life
Brought forth from a darkness so secure, baby boy relentless in the pursuit of education gazed upon the egg shell walls and sterile environment. Each bought into a world in which they have no knowledge, each merely a slate eager to be scrawled upon by the elders of this fine rock.

the cascade of clear blue falls even in the midst of the furvous night the call of a bird echoes cross canyons composed of ages of old the glint off amber cliffs calls to the reflection of ancience floors of sandstone riddled with stagnant ghosts of footprints these paths were once walked by those larger than life we search for purpose radiometrically estimating the desperation in the dating allowing our hearts to sink to an endless expanse of unexplored sediment grasping onto the aching for the pleasure beneath the pain self decay feels natural at the bottom of the ocean peace comes naturally while disappearing into pieces it will find me upon the return of the rogue daughter to the expanse in which she belongs may my atomic descendents one day hold the fossils of my being between their fingers let the earth shake under the feet of whom possesses my bones and let them keep digging, let them excavate all of us whole

We've been captured almost like shrimp in a fisherman's net With many long arms pulling us down Deeper into waves October is an Octopus All pink and grey With big starry eyes Leading us to Mystical Places unknown Places unexplored

Kindness is not nice. ‘Nice’ is soft and inoffensive ‘Nice’ is careful and non-assertive ‘Nice’ is easy and effects no change she’s cotton wool trying to soften the pain but not stuffed tight, just resting on the surface ready to be blown away or pressed under a muddy boot of disinterest ‘Nice’ is a damp whisper a mouse cowering in the corner hoping you will blink and miss her lest she attract your notice lest she presume too much and cause a whisker of offence Kindness is not like that – Kindness pushes in, quick and nimble a hero with no mask, unasked unexpected, dodging the turmoil leaving nothing unsaid and little undone in her pursuit of creating a counter-disruption Kindness defies convention Kindness carefully aims her weapons of choice and advances relentless and regardless of any and all obstacles in her way Kindness perseveres all the love-long day Kindness doesn’t delay Kindness is gleeful for the chance of invasion ready to disarm with expert compassion with her regiments of patience armed to the teeth with gracious placing tanks of good faith on all fronts Kindness confronts Courage is her currency, boldness her language, trust and hope are her passports to lands long unexplored happily wearing all-weather clothing for any and all unexpected storms Kindness transforms Kindness weakens all defenses and challenges all camouflaged pretenses Kindness pours itself out to fill unhealed wounds and on shrapnel-seeded battlefields she - blooms Kindness is not 'nice' Kindness isn’t in this for the likes Kindness bites She’s a take-on-all-comers, undefeated delight Kindness never bails from the fight never fails, never takes flight Kindness is nothing casual, nothing incidental This Kindness is elemental She is Avengers-Assemble, End-Game-level monumental Kindness is not 'nice'. Kindness is loving awe-ful.

New flesh nudist art next to a pretty dress as a naked eye sees want it wants to see A little of an unexplored world in between —ironically a queen on her knees A flowing river; centre tongue licking drips of a honey cup Tip toeing sounds, silently in their subtle under the secret sheets towing the sky A mist for night; a mister of the charges —who leads who Being lonely for two, been through a misconception of missing you So I just sit, waiting in this empty room
