I know you don’t forget me,
Don’t view my posts nor my moms.
But I did have fun Ashlee,
You helped me grow strong.

Your marriage goes well?
I’d do anything to chat.
Besides picking up my cell,
And calling you back.

Should have went out to lunch,
Two years ago,
But I thought we had much more
Time before you’d go.

Military housing,
Did you get to bring the cat?
Do you remember the kitten?
His small fur pattern hat?

You did my math,
While I did your reading.
Now we need help in those subjects,
Do the soldiers have meetings?

I’ll call you again,
Probably text before I do.
I can’t promise you when,
But I want it to be soon.

I cut it because,
I know that I I don’t.
A cold swollen body,
Won’t always float.
Saltwater’s more harsh,
It stings in my throat.
Traversing the seas
In a decommissioned boat

They say when the lungs,
Swallow it in,
You're taken over by calm,
Three scars on your shin.

Crooked hoof, diagonal jog
We moved the tractors before the goat
when I wished that dam would clog
Pinball machines tip over
but when the point is to lean
Upside down, dripping clean

Put on a bubble and keep yourself alive
Scared it will pop and you’ll die
But yet you slam it,
into rocks,
walls,
stone,
slate,
and brick
The bubble will bend before bursting

The Ocean
Lee 13h
I don’t know the ocean
And she doesn’t know me
Surely she remembers more
But I’m a mountains and trees girl
Patience is key

She always is sure to close the blinds,
As the view is far too beautiful
for her to sleep with it there.

Tackle
Lee 23h
Treble hook,
Trap my mouth,
Take me out of air.
Discard what you don’t like
There’s truly none to share
Written based on seeing a fisherman catch a trout using a treble hook, which pierced its top and bottom lips, holding the fishes mouth shut and impossible to remove without blood.

Tuck it in your waistband
Use her charger
Now the tops full of sand
Clogged, pull harder

Stash is dry
but that’s ok
Grandma will give you one of hers anyway
Hold it under your tongue
Don’t let momma smell your breath
They only approve cause it prevents my death

How numb
Can your toes be?
That the horseshoe *****
Who don’t even have the means,
Can pinch your skin and make you scream?
Wrote this one after a beach day

Sorry for the Slurs, but I need to express these things, things that people say to hurt me

I prefer to sit in the back
Make my instructions clear
and I’ll get on track
I’m easy to joke with
Please just go on and laugh
Partially joking words

Trade me?

If I could sell a saved soul for a smile,
I’d surely sport the most stylish grin
But I don’t care if I do frown
As long as i get to see them win

See my knees?
can’t you tell?
There’s not a thing
that when I fell
I should have hit it,
dads loudest yell.
Very personal piece but feel free to interpret however :)

Rib
Take one rib from me
But you would never
Take the one that’s hurting me
Because you want a better one
Not only floating and lost
but painfully

How the squirrel drops the nut-hat,
Perfectly where its to be used
For the millipedes to hide in
But I’m just confused

I have no skills other than to annoy
Unless my mouth is to be used
For reasons like his and her joy
But I’m still confused

I can’t move,
I can’t wake up
I’m screaming for you.
Shake me
Slap me (if you can without hate)
Wake me up
But my brain dropped the gate

Puddle

Residue of a storm, left behind and round.
A spa for those who croak.
Nature's water fountain for those too small to ask.
A vacation in rock. Minor invertebrate have a home.
More adding into; a ripple effect.
Bespattered by its surrounding walls, some clear instead.

A new stand laced up, a day to face.
A stride cut off by some plash, the sky!
Dark and your steps now dampened too deep.
Look at it this way, the earth had a laugh.
The best you can do is entertain it.
I actually wrote this piece in middle school, I don't write poems this long unless I force myself to do so, so it's cool to see a peak into what I can do if I focus.

I’m Sorry, Sorry,
I know it’s lost the meaning.
I promise I know other words.
Or you could Rip out a rib or two,
Please leave me bleeding.
