Even The Breeze Was Static
Poetic T Aug 2017
Piteous silhouettes hung loosely in the dark
bloodstained pools evaporated, staining like a birthmark.
Even the wind was mindful not to be found in this place.
static was the air like corroded snowflakes,  stark
reminders that this was decaying like a living carcass.

Pictures woeful reminders of moments when life exhaled.
But nothing is collecting only the whispers veiled
behind nothingness. The threshold of dismay was
as quiet and suffocating that none were failed
they just lingered behind the walls, breathless life in pause.

Conception of what lay within the ebbing stone walls.
Feathers onyx as nightfall were called angel falls,
for no crows were seen, but the feathers fell, was this
the gateway now to hell. Trapping all within its halls.
Dismay as life ebbed around, live consumed by this abyss.

When Ink Drys
Poetic T Aug 2017
So many pens have run dry,
I miss the reflections of others.

Like a crypt of cobwebbed words
that others visit, reading faded verse.

I reminisce on words that have become
static, hoping again for a breath of new word.
to many have faded but I still visit there words fading from years but still there ink grows within my muse

amazed at what adorned on our eyes.

Taking Your Pain Away
Poetic T Aug 2017
I have never clipped the wings
of angels, I write with a fallen quill
on every feather adoring you, every
sorrow that put a weight on my mind.

Then heavy with my burden do they
look upon the pain woven in memory
on those parchments of flight.
Carrying away my weight as your own.

I gaze above as you flew ever closer to
the sun. Your feathers becoming less
with every expenditure of my pain,
but still you ascended higher for me.

Then as your wings where but memories
and you fell from upon height, I caught
you. And you smiled, ill always fly your
troubles away, our eyes shone like stars.
what one will do for love, taking there pain.

A Shoreline Of Pebbles
Poetic T Aug 2017
We collected our shells from the shoreline,
listening deeply to hear the whispers of
                                                 Sorrows.

But all that was heard was a fabrication
of what needed to be heard,
                                       No reparation.

There is a breeze on the shore, it carries
our cares away. We moved on again as
there are always more shells to listen upon.

Our feet collected on pebbles,
throwing one it skipped for a moment
sinking like the apology never said.

White For A Day
Poetic T Aug 2017
Try it for a day...
people thinking
your white...
got it easy they say..

Fit in my shoes
where your words
never questioned...

But cos the shade or
lack of pigmentation.
I'm the one watching
wording even thought
you say its ok...

When I walk outside,
I'm like you human..
but you just see
WHITE.. PRIVILEGE...

What is that anyway..
I grew up poor like others
on my street where was
my privilege?
When four brothers had
just rice to eat...

Privilege is who ever
is up there
which ever pigment is
dominant becomes
the privileged one there...

Try being me for a moment
see through my eyes.
I'm not privileged
working my **** off
to where I am today...

It would be a
                privilege
if we all walked in
others shoes
to see the grass isn't
always greener
on the other side of the fence..

What's that I hear you say..
privileged.. be me for a day..

Drinking To Much Before Bed
Poetic T Aug 2017
I drank way to much vocabulary
before my eager eyes needed to
dilute the intake of my surroundings.

Into slumbered inspired visions,
that would play on my thoughts repetitively,
like a cracked analogue song skipping.

But still I awake in darkness, needing
to release the effluence of what was
indulged upon earlier. That visage a
delusion of  slide show moments.
I felt the bed its wet,
I didn't make it in time.

Blind verses wet on the sheets, my hand
was in it, I gag... And then see that its
a mirage of what was drunk upon.
It had to come out at some time.
But 3am couldn't I control my expulsion.
Instead I sit here in sodden verse.

As I wash my sheets, not the first time or
the last. I take heed.. not to drink so much
before I go to bed, because white sheets are
now grey. So many words kept on other layers,
these ones just inevitably washed away.

Old Verses Visited Again

Collections litter boxes

in the corners of my room.
filtering through snowstorms
of white laced with scribbled verse.

Memoires sewn in tapestry of
what was wondering within
the cotton of thought and the
needle of motion of my pencil.

There are momentary pauses
laced with eyes gauging words.
Then there are crumbled echoes
of what now litter a tiny  bin.

I walk from the room of my conscious
verses some unkempt in the corner,
others slung into a void of rejection.
I may visit momentary , but now I write.

Discoloured lines,

Unrecognizable syllables of

That I read upon everyday.

Ink so fresh when spelt out,

Dripping down this slightly torn page.

Will I ever just put a line down this

words wishing to bleed silently out.

If I write that last lyric, it will sing

Of sorrows voice, silently spoken, now vacant.

A Chorus Of Lullabies
Poetic T Aug 2017
Corroded reflections see through
the visage of my life I'm just a shadow
puppet of existence and this is
my gift to those I love.

"I'm a vacant lot of amore,
"Loving others is now a hollow chorus.

"I've loved each of you like death greets
a dying man, I feel nothing anymore.

"Looking beneath me, I'm a collection of
oxidized memories, each if drowning within me.

"Children where my anchor, but that ship sank
beneath the waves of my own hurricane of despair.

My censorship will now collect on others, satisfied that
I have worded this, as it dries my breath fades out.
I was a chorus of lullabies, now I wonder off to the quiet
place where my troubles delicately fade out....

Falling Beneath The Snowman
Poetic T Aug 2017
Ash fell like twisted snowflakes distorted
from tome stone clouds, children were playing
outside unaware to the ruination descending .
Collecting this abomination of clouds above.

Amassing the needed amount, collecting
it with others as heavy than the white stuff.
But collectively they made each one, dead branches
hung as limbs of fallen life hanging loosely.

Each was a distortion of the other, as each child
coughing under showers of grey flakes...
Eyes were broken bottles glassed into there features
Smiles more of teeth, small rocks falling like hail above.

As each on looked upon there creation, on there knees
admiring each's snowman of grey hues. They stayed
their  breath was concrete, Imamate like snowmen
coverings of ash collected upon there silence.

They fell beneath there snowmen, like tombstones
silently adoring there creators. Buried beneath the
tears of an angry heaven. the snowmen awkwardly
smile. Silence collects as death is buried by clouds.
Poetic T Aug 2017
The extension of me, Its held like a woman.
Gentle always, never relinquished to another.
Never taken for granted, Its never used its
an extension of me.

Never seeing the other as a heart beat,
but a means to an end for me to go home.
I never looked in their eyes,
             Its them
or me, I choose me every time.

They took their choosing, I ended there breath
with a moment, one stood, one feel beneath tears
of steel. I'm only human, survival is collective
on everyone's thoughts, yours are silent though.

I'm not an enemy, just a voice of another point of view.
Unluckily you choose the a side that collected your
body after I'd left this place. I never think of you,
but I remember ever body faceless crying in my nightmares

She was the rope around my throat,
never tight but enough to tell me that
that I was the folly of her emotions.

Our love was tided within our restrictions.
But she was always silent between the throws
of our collections, strangling upon another.

I never regretted the actions of the other,
always keeping me in my place,
I know who is the voice of our collusion...

be echoed upon, they stand
solitary in there meanings.

I'll stare as long as it takes for
