Grumpy grey sky stares,
At the conquered water world;
Armies of clouds roar!

Twisting wind whooshes,
Thunderstorm’s uncontrolled fits;
Town and country floats!

Vehemence ebbed out,
Soft rain whispers sweet nothings;
Earth in goosebumps!

sky, patchwork designer quilt,
invites the dull sun to rest;
keeps the rain clouds away!

Lullaby rain sings,
From morn, seamlessly to night;
A baby again!

I float in a dream,
Full of rain’s amorous sighs;
In fecund earth’s hugs!

thunder rumbles loud,
rainstorm looms, waits to hit hard;
beware! rough weather!

puddle dotted fields,
kids in mud football frenzy;
time stops for each game!

Kingfisher at rest,
Aggression’s switch still twitch;
Uncertain balance!

Like **** on sewer,
Dark news floats on the page;
Sick, nauseating!

waiting in the dark,
watch what dawn does to the world;
till dusk turns the page!

dreamy blue mountains,
soaked in rained millenniums;
mystery’s magnet!

when my sweetheart’s lyre,
plays music with such flair,
i’m transcendental.

a refugee cloud,
sought asylum on a tree;
driven far, dissolved!

fluffy white clouds play,
sun, their doting mother watches;
darkness: not in thought!

I won’t bother much, my friend
Whether it’s a secret treasure hunt,
Pilgrimage to the mountain shrine
Or just a jaunt along the scenic trrrain
There certainly would be surprises
Experiences to lighten one’s steps
Meet many otherwise I won’t see
Unless I chose this one journey through
Prestine roads that kept their character intact.
Rubbing shoulders with folks
Keeping abreast of their stories,
Shaking  hands with people with heart!
Each face is deeply etched in my memory!
After parakeets I ran,wondered  at
The  rainbow  colors on butterfly wings!
Orchids had a blend of fragrance and magical colors.
Once at a stop a girl sat with me,
And credling my heart told stories  of ethereal experiences,
I still trudge,pollen from flowers
make me look like
A bee in search of honey of a rare blend!

soft, languid cloud,
reflects on the still lake;
- made for each other!

a boy to a girl,
Texts sitting across a desk;
love, a potted plant!

golden threads of sun,
weave a flashy evening dress;
nature wears it pleased!

soliciting wind,
Cheeky, trembling, flowered woods;
ecstasy explodes!

To winding road I asked again,
“Where did your journey begin?”
It just kept quiet,as if to mean
It didn’t get the crux of my concern!
I asked Where does it  all end ?
That too met with a stony silence,
Making me meditate in loneliness .
Silence has quicksilver toungue,
I walked through inner labyrinths
And the question echoed in turns,
Then in me dawned as a whisper
“Real story of the road of course
Isn’t about just  begiinnings and ends”
The wish to get it limited, is the
Distorted imagination of humans!
I am having a journey eventful,
But have a problem to determine
The starting and end points!
When you are certain of a finis,
There appears yet another beginning!
A road never leaves for anywhere
All you do is pass on through it.
In a mood to go and find connections.
To immortality, the final destination!

Look! maudlin sky smiles,
Sun puts stupor behind, live;
Light wins the chess game!

black stallions gallop,
It’s huddle in sky’s race course;
in his box, sun hides!

loud sound of stomping,
cloud land revelries go on;
till all puke,go down!

wind kidnapped the clouds,
stars out on sky yard to play;
it rains silver light!

really **** cool,
Plump rain clouds,having a ball;
randy wind, jealous!

soaked in rainsong I,
feel it’s my mom’s cradle song;
I feel secure and  warm

daunting nonstop rains,
such mayhem landslides and pains;
rain: boon if not bane!

on the sky expanses,
robust clouds display yoga;
then all become one!

clatter in attic,
cloud army rehearses war dance;
cleans dusty armour!

in a huff night left,
how darkness still lurks around?
monsoon slyly lies!

monsoon casts a spell,
nature  subdued hibernates;
but wild is the wind!

rain raged nightlong,
all watery riches splurged,
nature wakes panicked!

purple dawn,rain clouds
stepped back, perhaps  awaiting
right time to rush in!

rain bird serenades,
Squirrels play second fiddle;
ravens party-****!

cloud towers are razed, gone;
coward rain slips down!

Hey bright morning sun,
so earnest during monsoon;
on warmth runs the world !

trees luxuriate,
dog’s life gets soggy and vain;
isn’t the rain same?

doleful, the rain tune,
from trees we hear no bird sing;
passing wind hisses!

after a wild run,
whitened rain cloud seeks the moon;
becomes her nice stole!

sky wears a shimmer,
as black clouds stop dance for now;
run up for cloudburst!

armies of clouds clash,
shootout and bloodbath all night;
****** morn, quiet!

On the sky, cloud’s write,
The west wind reads it aloud:
‘Monsoon phantasy’!

Dark clouds stole the sun,
Wind is on rescue mission ;
Sun in remission!

turmoil reigns the sky,
monsoon clouds do poetry;
Juggle metaphors!

eyes phosphorescent,
crinkly dark tresses flying,
rain party’s on hard!

after storm’s dance,
trees lying helter-skelter yells:
listen to nature!

drum beats to murmur,
a lull in nightlong rain rage;
wind’s bugle again!

On dark cloud screen,
In silver script, lightning’s
Rainy day poem!
