Unspoken Truth
Asher 6d
Unloved, I have felt,
You love me now, but would you
Call me your daughter?

Imagine Being Human
Asher Jan 9
Just imagine
Being human, bound and broken,
Hating the questions left unspoken.
Denying truth until it's shown,
Laughing at lies as if they’re your own.

Picture this
An institution hailed as the cure,
While tyranny festers, too vile to endure.
Irony lingers, thick in the air,
Pollution of minds too numb to care.

And imagine
Reducing your soul to a single name,
A fleeting spark in a futile game
Here’s a poem inspired by the song No Wind Resistance. I feel its lyrics deserve more recognition and appreciation

then you hold me, comforting
a cruel, warm circle.

Reflections of Need
Asher Dec 2024
Sometimes all I need
a soul to mirror my own.
Am I too much, though?

Autumn's Whisper
Asher Nov 2024
Whispers in the breeze,
Leaves pirouette, gold and red,
Autumn sighs softly.

Experience
Asher Oct 2024
The older I grow,
Parents, once heroes, now seem
Just like me, they are.
Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've been really busy lately and I've been wanting to join a club or something.

Strings of Deception
Asher Oct 2024
Beneath kind words lies,
Silent strings pull hearts like thread,
Shadows weave their will.
Another haiku; I enjoy creating these poems. They're easier than sonnets.

Endless Heart's Light
Asher Oct 2024
Hold me through the night,
Endless love in whispered breaths,
Stay, my heart’s one light.
My first attempt at a haiku. Sorry if it's not the best.
