The cloud and Sun are playing hide-n-seek
Sun peeking from the veils of clouds
With it linings shimmering like gold
Clouds silhouette coming to light
Responding to the warmth of the Sun
To give way to the morning sunshine
Resplendent Earth basks in the ambiance
Ushering another day*

Inhale the fresh air
Soak in the light of dawn
Taste the dewdrops
To soothe the parched soul
Dreams are new
Waiting to take flight
Chirping birds talk to you
Listen to them closely
How dreams take flight
Nestle your dreams with care
Wide open arms of morning air
Welcomes you in her world
Wide eyed at daybreak
Capture the beauty of this world

The morning sun rays bathing the soul
Waking it up from the dreaming consciousness
Eyes soaking in the awakened beauty
Taking off the cover of night, to reveal a new day
Sun rays swathing over the valley
A watercolor painting over the Earth’s canvas
Vivid colors are splashed to create a spectacle to behold
A wave of warm embrace caresses us
As we get ready to rise up to the occasion
To usher a new day and new dreams in our heart

Deceit comes in so many disguise
Caught unaware by its stealth blow
Shaking the core of your belief
Leaving you no ground to stand on
Relentless deceit, so many layers
Coming in the garb of trusted
Conceited, it takes pride in hurting
Deceit is conniving for fresh strike
Tearing away the soul and its existence
It has thrived through centuries
Launched many warring factions
Pitted against each other, thirsty for blood
For deceit will always draw blood
Silently bleeding the heart of its feelings
Deceit always innovates, with new disguise

How many faces you wish?
For you are not true to your own
Can you bear the burden of many?
Posing as everyone, but you
Even the mirror will be flummoxed
Ashamed to show the real you
Maybe a face forgotten long ago
Waging a war against yourself
An army of many faces adopted
Will bring you to the gallows
That will be the end to your identity
When you will be unmasked

Delusions will help accomplish feats reaching the pinnacle of irrationality

The sensuous drool from the luscious lips
Dripping on your chin, and confluence
At the *****, where, eternal love resides
The glistening stream of consciousness
Only the two conscious souls are waiting for
To take a leap of faith, and drenching the souls
With the crystal clear consciousness of love
Where passion resides at the bottomless bed
Entwined like the eel, slithering to further depths
Exploring the pearls of sensuality, cocooned in shells
Hidden away from the worlds, only for the One to
Take away all the spoil, the bandit of the heart
Who uses the sword, with not the intent to ****
But he uses it deftly to rip open more passion
Leaving the mermaid wanting for more
She is still unsatiated, and the game has just begun
Gasping for breath, underwater,
In synchronization like the ballet, they both emerge
For a while, oblivious of the world
Concerned only about the treasures, deep down
And together they dive down, again,
The bandit is always eyeing the treasure to be exploited
Ready to drown, along with treasures of the heart

The very beginning seemed to be an end
Never realizing, standing on shaky ground
They built an abode, destined to fall
Not even the four walls could protect
Hearts developed rifts with differences
Crumbled like sand castles, swept away by tears

Started walking along the path
Where life was leading me
Towards a destination chosen
Not chosen by me
But was willingly following
To a predefined destination
Then I came along a bench
Weary I was travelling
The bench gave me respite
From the grueling march
I inspected the torn soles
As the pebbles were hurting my feet
Bleeding profusely
I thanked the bench
Where I could now rest for the night
Lying on my back
I connected the dots on the night canopy
Slumber took over
Dreams of a new road, I could see
Sleeping off the weariness
I woke up to a new day
The bench which taught me to wait
Another destination chosen by me
Clouds have cleared away
I knew the path to walk along
I was a traveler with purpose
My destination, waiting for me

Destruction leaves a pile of garbage
Heinous deeds which rakes up a stink

Massive destruction
Can we be the architect
Recreate the original draft
If not, why destroy
Devastate the present
Barren future awaits them

I am like a dew drop on the edge of a leaf
Cautiously balancing on tip toes
Another dew drop appears next to me
A whiff of soft wind sways the leaf
We start pirouetting on the edge
Balancing with all the skills we have
Finally, we bond together
Different, yet unrecognizable now
A ray of light passes through us
To create a beautiful rainbow
It’s just the dewdrops

Jumped into the bandwagon
Realized, I had a different destination
Journey comes to a halt!

Ignite the burning desire to dispel darkness
Deep within your heart to light up the path
Leading to a world full of love and bonhomie
So many minds still stranded in dark streets
With the passion to create widespread mayhem
From darkness they return to darkness
Dying a forlorn death, misdirected existence
Unaware of the warmth of positive zeal
Reach out to them, pass on the light
Give them a direction, to the path of tranquility
Every measured step leading to secured future
Our posterity is holding our hands for direction
If we not lead them to a better world
Then who else will take the onus to dispel darkness

When it’s dark, it reminds us that there is light nearby
Patiently waiting to dispel the darkness
We just have to search and realize the source
From where light can penetrate the darkness
And fill each and entire cosmic realm
We have not become blind yet, but disillusioned
By the constant onslaught of the wrath of darkness
Blinded, yet our vision is veiled by darkness
Waiting for light to be the savior or the misery
A single ray of light is like an army, to salvage
And defeat darkness, indoctrination the sinister minds
To dispel away the darkness, in stark daylight
Our souls were holed up in dark cellars
Ruled by the darkness regime
But now, the time has come to break away the shackles
Of the darkness, we got so used to
This will be a new beginning, where there will be light in our heart
Be it day or night, we will carry the light within us
And to help others to come out of the drudgery of darkness

The distance between lands
Can be traversed with ease
Bridging the distant hearts
Takes trust and love
Been miles apart for long
Time for love to travel
And unite
Two beautiful hearts

Soar higher and think beyond the skies
Searching for the unknown
May land you in familiar territory
Keep the wings aligned with the wind
Nature’s guide will take you along its path
The worldly binds chains us to the ground
Clipping our wings, not allowing us to fly
Heavy as lead, we drown in sea of expectations
Completely drenched, the body soaked to the bones
Lying there along the sidelines, waiting for the sunshine
To dry the body and soul of all the limitations
Gaining consciousness and power from the Sun
Looking beyond the sky, the unknown looks familiar
Sometimes unchartered path is more inviting
To a traveler like us, helping us to reach our destination

Everything was but a dream
I hear you calling out to me
Your silence is audible from afar
A plea to listen to your soul
I am floating away from you
When you try to reach out to me
We are just frozen in time
There is nowhere we can go
Our heartbeats have come to a standstill
Only memories which are alive
We have lost track of time
The world goes on-
But we are lost in the moment
Nowhere will we feel alive
Except when we are wrapped in this dream
A journey between us
Where we fail to move beyond this

As I go to sleep
Dreams come knocking
My subconscious mind
In a rendezvous with me
Am I asleep?
The REM phase kicks in
What do I want to view?
I do not have a choice
I am just a spectator
For another movie
Do I know the cast or crew?
Is it a blockbuster or horror movie?
The conclusion is inconclusive
I may not be a protagonist
Maybe a figment of my imagination
Or, a vivid description of my days events
It requires psychoanalysis
My subconscious mind is in control
Why can’t I have control?
It’s not within my control
I am asleep and my mind is awake
Freud wrote extensively about it-
In the ‘Interpretation of Dreams’
But still, outside our realm of understanding
The symbols and motifs can give clue
Ancient cultures have recorded on clay tablets
But we may not be ever sure
Or maybe the soul is guided somewhere
Or it could be our inner desires
Maybe it’s an unknown world
Where we go out to venture
Let there be beautiful dreams
And dreams that inspire

As our dreams expand
We take flight to new territories
Soaring higher above the ground
Embracing the world between our wingspan
Looking down from dizzying heights
Once nurtured as a fledgling
Lest we not forget the ones who believed in us
One day we can soar higher
Flying at higher altitudes
We can be the ones to give wings to future dreams

Nurture your fertile dreams
Those are your wings to fly
To distant lands and beyond
Enriching the earnest mind
With the folklore of mankind
Dreams meeting dreams
It can take you beyond Ether
Dreams help you meet
With the higher consciousness
Dreams give you wings to fly

Dream sequences
Made up of random patterns
So many faces
The rhythm of many heartbeats
So many minds
So many thoughts- conscious or sub-conscious
What is their origin?
Only source from within us?
Maybe thoughts are planted
While we are asleep
Played to us like a dream film
Some we remember
Others we forget
Yet, they may be residing somewhere
Where do lost dreams go?
Or, maybe it’s not meant for us
Expunged from our subconscious
Our every move has a meaning
We may not know the origins
For all we know
Or actions are mirrored

In my dream, I woke up
    *To confront reality

Rolling out from deepest corner of the heart
It tells us about unspoken emotions
Breaching the dams, to swell out
Gushing out with the untold story
Cleansing the soul with each passing waves
As feelings of sorrow have no spoken language
Swelling up in the eyes, which remained idle for years*

Duality of thoughts
Distances the heart and the mind
The soul is not at peace

Dust settles on us for we remain motionless
The mites start to live off us, as parasites do
******* off all the common sense still remaining
Even our vision diminishes with the accumulating dust
Unable to choose our own course for the future
As we have slowly and prematurely turned to dust
One day the strong wind blows away all the dust
Without a trace, we fade away from this world

Each step that you take
Walking away from the past
Tread the path where love resides
And garden where flowers bloom
Trust the call of the soul
Towards the direction of fresh breeze
As it will direct you towards safe haven

If the Earth loses its balance
Flinging away, to a distant universe
Spinning viciously and in a tizzy
We are holding on to it for dear life
Running around round and round
Helter-skelter, life spinning out of control
The vast oceans turned in to huge vortex
Siphoning off the natural habitat and us too
The fate of humanity looks vulnerable and fuzzy
Hurtling through space at colossal speed
The core of the Earth has started spewing lava and fire
All the continents mangled together in a single lump
Now, time and space is going to consume the planet
Obliterating the existence of the planet, once called Earth*
