There’s so much distance

Communication a distant dream
Words create a haze

Sometimes life leaves us empty
Without the words and feelings
Much like the empty bottle
And no message within
No destination to look forward to
At the shore, gazing at the vast sea
Too forlorn to swim across
Without a message and a purpose
The empty feeling
For life has created a vacuum

Lush green hope
Springs from the ground
Replenished with love
Carpeted landscape
Soft on the feet
Every step cushioned
Exuberance of nature
Caresses you
Soft kiss of the sunrays
Glittering dewdrops
Priceless solitaires
Every facet of nature
Held within them
As I skid along the green
To roll down eternity

Induced influences
of the portrayed reality
reflected from the
mirrors of (un)reality
nexus of the rays
entraps you in a bind
Counterfeit enthusiasm
of sinister designs

From the epicenter of my heart
Love reverberates in concentric circles
Mild waves of feelings embrace you
Deluging your heart in eternal love

Tyrants and traitors marred the existence
Of the beautiful fabric of mankind
Stained fate, never to recover
Sometimes nature turned foe
Obliterating life from this Earth
History is the silent custodian
Testimony to the many facets of humanity
We bring our downfall
Mired in controversies and revenge
Saga of shameful acts and own dereliction
Sifting through the layers of history
It’s not for the faint-hearted to endure

Abject penury of feelings
Drove the loving heart to sink
Now lying in comatose

Attention pivoted on the farthest
Blurry are the things at hand
The horizon seems reachable
Near ones distances themselves further
Clarion call from beyond the realm
Here, the soul is writhing in anonymity
A void, that threatens to engulf the known
Uncertainties of the realization is real
Heart is anchored here with situation
Yet, the world beckons this soul
The traveler yearns to break loose
The farthest seems logical and reachable
