Petals unfold from
the sunshine you bring

Joy and comfort open

sweet songs.

I feel my wings

A garden untold

and petals and leaves.
Red, yellow, and pink
scattered all around,
bright colors welcomed
as you lay and think

daydreaming in the forest.
Avocado leaves tremble briskly
singing its season's chorus.

she listened to the sounds
of squirrels swarming
jumping from tree to tree
like they were performing.

chirp, chirp goes the birds
growing its iridescent feathers.
Animals assembling together food
for the crisp, chilly weather.

she daydreamed
as she studied the mantis green

Beautiful shards of you

Crystal clear waters

Don't let these damaged

Springtime Ride

Pedal, pedal
down the carnation rose petals.
Little, pink flowing florets blossom

brightly as the cherry tree settles.

Cinnabar curls wrestled
against her dress's white, linen lace.
A gradient of green grasses glistened
as she pursued on her spring's race.

Lavender and lilac fragrance tingled
her firm senses and her freckled nose.
Easter emblems enlightened her ride
as inhaled the Gardena of a spring rose.

A life worth exploring
Crystal Freda Jan 2019
She laid in her bed
with a pad and a pen.
Too many thoughts in her head
rotating over and over again.

Her eyes brewed with tears
dripping down to her notebook.
Thinking about all the years
so she wrote as her hands shook.

She gaze in the window
as her heart sank down.
She wondered when did time go
and why her heart was to the ground.

She thought there must be more to life
than this pain she had been enduring..
Take away all this strife,
and have a life worth exploring.

All she had to do was let go

Hear My Tears
Crystal Freda Aug 2018
She walks in the streets
with her heart bruised and broken.
Her heart is bound with repulsive beats
and no words from her mouth can be spoken.

Her life is an utter mess
of repetitive problems she can't fix.
Too much heartache and bounding stress
overlaps on her body as the clock ticks.

No tears can come in her eyes
for she feels she can't be weak
but at the altar those tears come to a great size
and through those tears God hears her speak.

After that long cry,
her heart feels energized and relieved.
She gazes to God up high
and soon she knew and believed.

Barefoot in the evergreen forest.
Each step I feel every speck of dirt,
every strain of grass
and hear and everything at rest.

Splashing drips of waterfalls,
chirping of small birds,
and creaking of windy branches,
and the cracking of rocky mountain walls.

Each moving sound has peace around
Every whisper, ever singing song.
Closing my eyes as I listen
