her words shattered
because she has no voice.
her opinion doesn't matter
she has no choice.

her life forsaken
taken away from the world.
no one wants to hear you
because you are a girl.

her mind full of ideas
but she doesn't want a riot.
she keeps her ideas to herself,
the world wants her to be quiet.

Believe
in
something
whatever
it
may
bring.
Be
patient
in
everything
as
you
sing.
Time
may
sting
as
you
spread
your
wings.
Let
up
everything
and
swing.

Blood stained the ground,
thunder made a crashing sound.
His body torn with skin ripped
all the wounds sore from being whipped.

Love was found in that blood
which seeped in our souls from the mud.
The rain stopped as His body taken away.
No other moment measured like on that day.

That love in that blood carried to the tomb
and broke the rock with a giant boom.
Light struck everywhere to the sky,
but this was not His last goodbye...

Shine,
brighter than before.
Glimmer,
way above the shore.
Sparkle,
like a bright,yellow butterfly.
Radiate,
be the sun in the sky.
Beam,
like a shooting star.
Glitter,
be who you exactly are.

She awakes
as the dawn nearly awakens
Rising above the river banks
the moon is slowly disappearing.

She walks on the pasture
watching the lake ripple
as the wind brushes against her
she looks to the sky.

A blue light sky
a color between dark and light
shines where the flowers lie
turned to periwinkle dandelions.

Her hand picks up the tips
as her breath touches the top.
Nearly brushing her lips
watching where the petals go.

Every step you take
takes you to your next destination.
Some roads may be straight or curved
or some sort of alternation.

You will come across many bridges.
Some up high and some on the ground.
Some will navigate you to beautiful sights
and some will have scary, creaky sounds.

Bridges enlighten you on a new paths.
You don't know where that will be.
Each bridge will tell you something.
You just have to step forth and see...

black
and
white.
we flutter
together.
never
forsake
or
leave
each other.
we are
forever
in flight
just as
we are
in
black
and
white.

Dark timber thrown on the blazing fire.
The stick stirring the crackles and wood.
Wrapping yourself in a blanket
and drinking hot cocoa for a while.
Nothing could be as good.
Crystal Freda Oct 2017
I look to you.
You hold my spirit
fully with one kiss.
Nothing will fill your spot.
Nothing but stunning bliss.
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
Her eyes pressed on all
the colors, textures, and dyes.
The motifs of the trees
glistens as the wind flies.

The blowing causes
a cough in her throat
as she tightens the sash
of her lined, tan coat.

She stands amazed
by the tinges of the lake.
The ripples propel swiftly
causing the bridge to shake.

She glazes at her reflection
in the waves as she walks away.
Still intrigued by blossoming
coloration of this display.
Crystal Freda Sep 2017
Let it go.
Don't be afraid.
The wind will blow.
It will blow away.

Don't be sad.
It will be all right.
Its not so bad.
I am here.
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
she lay
in a corner,
turning each page,
enjoying the read,
soulfully
inhaling the words
Crystal Freda Oct 2019
can I hold on
just a little bit longer?
I feel I'm getting weaker
instead of stronger...

the branches of my heart break
without your support.
winds crashing and beating
back and forth...

I can't live this way anymore,
either have to let it go and break...
or wait for it to grow
no matter how long that may take..
Crystal Freda Apr 2018
She looked to the sky
with tears in her eyes.
Pain stumbling
when she cries.
Nothing could save her
from her aching.
The pieces of her heart
kept on breaking.
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
she kneels down
listening
to nothing
but repulsive breathing
we used to talk,
but now
we just listen
to the sounds
of our restless eupnea.
after awhile of these
flat and banal nights,
the lines to our phones
are broken, cut in half
just like our hearts...
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Shattered pieces fall from the mirror.
Is this my reflection?
Why am I here?

Is there more to me?
Is there more than my body and my brain?
Do I have destiny?

When I look in the mirror
I see broken, an unfinished project.
Is there something bigger?

Embrace the broken in the mirror.
Let your brokenness shine.
Let your brokenness shimmer.

You are more than your fractured pieces.
You are a king or a queen.
Your beauty, your heart, never ceases.

I'm a broken radio.
No static, no noise
can be found.

No station can be reached
No melodies, no buzzing,
no sound.

Empty echo waves
cannot connect
to any towers.

I'm left in silence
trying to connect
for hours...

Time passes
left channeling
for a connection.

I'm a broken radio
who can't even find
their own station...

The sun shined upon the buds

and rain caused it to sprout.

It grew and grew

until it shot out.

The flower enjoyed each dip of rain

and every ray of sunshine.

Everything was well

until too much was out of line.

The sun became too hot at times

and rain came too much or too little.

The flower couldn't take it

and petals became brittle.
Crystal Freda Jan 2019
Darkness triggered the moonlight
with no wolves howling
causing a deep fright
for a walk in the night.

Clouds cover the stars
with cold winds against the trees
with things as spooky as they are
you better not go too far.

As the owls shout who
and you hear a loud noise.
You don't know what to do
when you turn around and hear boo!
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
Swiftly she moves
around the evergreen trees.
Her colorful wings swinging
against the invigorating breeze.

Her colors are vibrant
in the light of the blue sky.
Shining so bright
in the blink of an eye.

There she goes
in her bright,glary shade.
They flutter on with the others
like a flaming butterfly parade.
Crystal Freda Nov 2018
Her long, auburn hair
brushed against her back.
Her lashes lay graciously
so thick and black.

Her plump lips
so bright and blushful.
Her dress matches her skin
from the top to the ruffle.

There is no beauty
like what her soul doth pour
like an azure butterfly
ready to soar.
Crystal Freda Jan 2018
My blue ocean waves
totter over your dusty sands.
We are better together
for we make beautiful sand castles.
Crystal Freda May 2018
What a sweet kitty.
So cute and so pretty
laying in the sun
rolling around for fun.

Her belly covered in fur
So soft when you pet her.
She blinks showing love
while the sun shines above.

Looking like she's getting a tan.
Stretching as much as she can.
So cute, it makes you smile.
Watching this kitty for a while.
Crystal Freda Apr 2019
Celestial love
blossomed in her inner self
She let go of history
for she now seeking help.

She beckoned for His presence
for tired of living in fear.
Graveling for more
pining Him near.

After many years
of enduring this emptiness.
She at last unfurled heaven
and floated with His faithfulness.
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Mellow blossoms carry
rose scented smells.
The cherry tree settles
with its crayola petals.

Red chrysanthemums
scattered throughout the field
surrounded by the tree
created so beautifully.

Colors so florid
in the midst of the sky.
Birds soar this colorful welkin.
Delicacy made from Heaven.
Crystal Freda Jan 2018
Chocolate.
Homemade, creamy
Filling, melting, tempting
Always a girl's best friend go to.
Sweetness.
Crystal Freda Jan 2018
color of the warmth
of the brushing of the leaves
crushing of harsh winds
blistering at your heart strings
as seasons consistently change
Crystal Freda Sep 2017
Green, green is everywhere.
The sun glimmers over the dew.
The air is refreshing
and the morning is new.

Blue, blue is in the enchanting sky
existing above this giant earth.
The pearly white clouds
shifting away from the sun's morning birth.

Color, each color is in every flower
and butterfly, water, and gray stone.
Each has its own beauty
making our minds blown.
Crystal Freda Jan 2019
her curiosity had her
daydreaming in the forest.
Avocado leaves tremble briskly
singing its season's chorus.

she listened to the sounds
of squirrels swarming
jumping from tree to tree
like they were performing.

chirp, chirp goes the birds
growing its iridescent feathers.
Animals assembling together food
for the crisp, chilly weather.

she daydreamed
as she studied the mantis green
stems tickling against her sweater
fostering a picturesque scene.
Crystal Freda Jan 2019
She lay in the corner
hungry,*****,and cold.
She was all alone
and she was only 7 years old.

With her parents dead,
she was left on the streets.
Her body covered in scars
and blisters plastered her feet.

No one noticed her abandonment
all too busy with their own lives.
She will rot in her grimy skin
because no one hears her cries.
Crystal Freda Mar 2019
country girl
toddled back home.
sepia leaves traced behind her
tumbling on the flaccid, dusty loam.

country girl
in her licorice colored boots
daydreamed at the piebald trees
rotting from their roots.

country girl
dancing in auburn checkered dress
sprinted home mirthfully
looking like a mess.
Crystal Freda Dec 2018
she looked at
the azure sky
and mantis grasses.
mountains so gray,
and glaucous lakes
so long
colors so vibrant
like colored
by a crayon.
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Lying on a pillow
crying tears.
My eyelashes crumble.
I'm trying to face my fears.

Life is hard.
Crying seems easy.
Only in private though.
I don't want to seem needy.

They say crying makes you strong
then why do I feel weak?
I don't understand things.
Why i haven't reached my peak,

Weeping on my pillow
I start to bethink.
It's all right to be me.
My fears start to shrink.
Crystal Freda Dec 2019
doses of droplets

dampened the dark dusk of sky.

a cumulus cloud of coldness

captivated the courses so high.

a wicked, wild wind

whipped as the weather took it's cry.
Crystal Freda Sep 2017
Amidst the river,
she walks along the way.
She is curious.
Curious of the waves of the bay.

Her little finger brushes
against the ripples.
She takes her hand back
as waves maneuver triples

She continues her way
across the water.
Her excitement engages
as waves totter.
Crystal Freda Feb 2018
Darkness shadowed her sight.
She thought the world was dim.
The sun always passes and fades
There was never any light.
Then she saw her sunglasses' rim
and realized she didn't take off her shades.
Crystal Freda Jun 2019
Every day I always
pray for more.
I ask myself
what I am getting up for?

Every day it's the same,
no excitement, no fun.
Most days are cloudy.
Just wish something could be done.

I do have hope for the future,
but it never seems to come.
Every day makes me feel
so idiotic and so dumb.

Wishing is my only chance
for this to not be this way.
Although this is my current life
every single day...
Crystal Freda Feb 2019
Trees of many colors
from burnt orange to gold.
So many words to be written,
so many stories to be told.

She drove past all these,
mind already writing poems.
Gazing at the hues
with the winds just a blowing.

She lives in a world of words
rather than in reality.
The world may be a bad place,
but she sees the beauty.
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Resting on the river
on a blissful, quiet day..
All you can hear is water waves
on the shifting, waking bay.

Paddle, paddle, paddle,
goes your oar on the pond.
Sparkling waters pass along.
You grow quite fond.
Crystal Freda Jan 2019
aqua waves beckon
back and forth
at her azure eyes.

wondering how far
they go
and where it lies.

deep and mystical
this water runs
and the blue never dies...
Crystal Freda Apr 2018
All I seem to get
is to be denied
when I thought
it was mine.

All my time
and effort
just turned into
pain and hurt.

I just want to go
and succeed
but I feel I have to
beg and plead.

Every time I try,
it doesn't go my way.
I just have to keep waiting
every single day.
Crystal Freda Oct 2017
Inhale the sweet smells
of the Holy Spirit
Overflowing wells
of His great love.
Dance and rejoice
with awing feelings
at the sound of His voice
and seeking His face.
Crystal Freda Jan 2018
Under the essence

       of delicate roses

              lying swiftly and gently

                      as you're roaming

                              on your distant path

                                   leading to an unknown

                                      magical destination...
Crystal Freda May 2018
Broken
like shattered glass.
Damaged,
lost in the past.

If you hold on
to this debris.
You'll stay broken
and never be free.

Let go of shards
from the hurt you had.
If you let go,
you will be glad.
Crystal Freda May 2020
Say what you need to say.
Write what you need to write.
Pray what you need to pray.
Fight even when you can't fight.

Live when you're scared of living.
Love where you need to love.
Give when you need to be giving.
Hope when it's not enough.

Sing every beautiful song.
Dance with every beat.
Let your body move along,
Do all you can, and repeat.
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Salty, brisk kisses from the ocean blue
Dancing rain drops bellow over your head.
Fresh, crisp drops over a morning dew.
New beginnings as to be lead.

Daring, flashing currents rumbling down.
Rivers of clean, cooling water.
Splashing, flushing sounds all around.
Crashing, high energy waves totter.

Calming, sweet presence of a gentle pond.
Quiet, tolerate puddles bounce inwardly.
A pleasant silence beyond.
Heavenly drops so free.
Crystal Freda Aug 2018
Drops
drops of water
run down my face
from my eyes.
I can taste the salts
as my eyes burn
and my heart aches
and my spirit dies.
Pain
pain of sorrow
flows through
my tired body.
I can't feel anything
but bitter pain
surrounding
the inside of me.
Crystal Freda Jun 2019
if we are

  created from dust,

     dust is gold,

        why should we

             think of yourselves

                     any less?
Crystal Freda Aug 2017
Stand by the sea.
Stand high on a mountain.
Put your feet in and feel free.
Get close to the sun.

Climb trees in the forest.
Feel a breeze from the wind.
Feel safe in your rest.
Flying with no end.

Dance in the rain.
Feel the volcano's heat.
Embrace no pain.
Rumbling under your feet.

It's good to be alive.
Its a blessed day.
Get up and strive.
And breakaway..
Crystal Freda Jan 2018
she shined,

she glowed

every shimmer

of color showed.

cyan so blue,

mantis so green

press the world

so extreme.

flocks of birds,

waves of the pond

follow her presence

and moved by her wand.

her wings flutter,

and sparkles empurple

around the sky

in one large circle.

Her light glints,

and vivifying

every inch

so mystifying.
