Dawn
Immortality Feb 21
I was afraid,
searching for light,
until I realized,
the dawn was born from the night.

Fall once, rise twice....
isn't it? :)

Lover's rain
As I stand beneath,
sky's embrace,
open arms,
claim me as its own.

each drop,
cold,
yet warmth blossom in me.

each raindrop,
feels as a caress,
a lover's kiss,
as it drenchs my soul.
just me and rain

Petals in the breeze,
swirling around trees,
cherry blossom dance.

What about them?
Immortality Jan 19
i love them,
"do you?",  whispers my mind.
"i do," murmurs my heart.

but i stumble,
always.

words slip,
unwelcomed,
uninvited.

i don’t deserve them.

a tear falls.
the mirror blurs.
"it’s over already," the mind sighs.
I love my parents, I know.
But I have hurt them already...
why do I never try to understand them?
I try to do.... just probably the worst daughter alive maybe....
saying things I never mean, then crying as its hurting me...
I can feel the heaviness in my heart

Why the hell am I the way I am???

Holi
Immortality Mar 14
Colors fall
laughter rises.
Pink, green, yellow, red
then a hug.

Hands, cheeks, hearts,
all the same,
we find unity
in the mess.

A day to cherish,
crafting memories
that never fade.
Holi is a festival that comes from an old Hindu story about Prince Prahlad and his evil aunt, Holika. Prahlad, a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu, was saved from a fire by divine intervention, while his evil aunt, Holika, perished in those flames. This symbolizes the victory of good over evil. It also marks the arrival of spring. A lot of delicioussss snacks and dishes are prepared (my fav part of this festival... hehehe)
Well, let us live in harmony, spreading peace and happiness. Happy Holi to all my HP friends!!!!!

Within Me
Immortality Mar 10
Looking around,
hoping to find
the answer.

A daffodil’s rhythm,
with the wind,
bathed in sunlight,
until it blew away.

I seek the Almighty,
only to realize,
the answer is within me.
My pal,
the answers are within you

It had lived all
Woke within a dream,
amidst dense forest.

a tree stood,
older than time,
casting its shadow.

a touch of it,
showed all it had lived—
bloodied sword clash,
clouds that wept for years,
flora it wore,
wildflowers it shielded,
the warmth it once kissed.

yet it stood still.
as I faded,
back into the dream.
it had lived all, known all.

Drowned
And she fell,
into ice-cold water.
Her legs kicked,
gasping for air
that once suffocated her.

She didn't scream,
reached her hand out,
not for light, but to bid goodbye.

She looked around,
to realize the dark
she had walked into.

Fate laughed,
as she closed her eyes.
Oh, what an irony,
she couldn't swim.
what an irony!

Can I?
"Will I make it?"
the heart cries.

A thousand tries,
yet I fall.

"Should I lower my expectations?"
it whispers.

"No, it's not over until you win,"
the mind insists,
like night cradles the sky;
light will come soon.
To those chasing their dreams, remember: there's always light at the end of the tunnel for those who remain true to their hard work and dedication.
