It was an arbitrary day at the arboretum the ferns were all wondering why a rash of rogue rhododendrons were roughing up the azaleas while mighty magnolias stood meekly by A patch of tiny cyclamen giggled girlishly while witch hazels waved green wands and the willows wrung their hands and wept and wept 'cause they knew what was really going on

Let Begonias Be Begonias
The almond pearls bounce on the leaves, Drip to drench me with the heavenly boon, What magical transformation the sky weaves, Its wands of clouds creating another monsoon! There's though a different spell on the ground Where water flows like a river in high tide, Silence broken only by a splashing sound Monstrous holes yawning on all side! You longed for it in the summer's pain Hallucinating in agony the coming of it You curse it now calling it a bane As it pours from above and deluge the street!

Faces of Monsoon
~ **Wandering witches, wave your wands, lose your limbs of earthly bonds. Friday the 13th full moon sings so flex your power and stretch your wings. Wandering witches, weave your words to be the bane of beasts and birds. Hex the hateful with potions of love Poke the prideful in crestfallen thereof Sing sisters sing, into the full moon night never knowing the demon's blight. Fearful farce and fallen stones bury the bad in blood and bones.** ~

Our blood is golden wine, I’ve been told to try sweeter blends. My cups lay in my favorite number but the unknown in my shadow still stand. Inside could be my salty songs for a memory that never ends. I pull you down underwater to see just how far you can be from the sand. Eyes wide open to the flame of your being; It’s confidence and conflict that drag me out of my stalemate. A torch to gaze upon something I know to be worth seeing. Whether together or apart we still crawl the same trail to feel and be something great. The oleander and roses course through our veins like the wax that holds together our armor. We’re meant to grow our vines past the heavens. That’s the place that holds serenity and storms that you never have to barter; Where admiration never leads to lessons. To be strong through our valleys when we feel like we’ll never climb back up. In this garden is the place where I can accept your oceans dichotomy. No matter how many wands, no matter how many cups; I’ll accept it completely but of course cautiously. All the eyes can see all the burning in my hands. What could be sparked by nature feels easier to light on my own. Is it gasoline I smell on demand Or has the apple already grown?

Eden with Everything
An orchid stood tall in the window, Looking out at the yard, Where the dragon chases the pearl, Aflame and brightly burning, Make the orients' subtlety seem hard. Ladies pass the house, Pause to observe, The smile on the orchids petal, Waiting, like they, to serve, Hoping not to lose its sunlight, Not to break its nerve. Bow down before the ancient scriptures, The stories that they told, Of magic wands and spinning wheels, And of the sacred flower, The orchid of the orient; unfold.

Orchid Of The Orient
I went to a magic world Of happiness and fun I played and gave it my very all Under the hot Orlando sun A kingdom of hopes and dreams And only good decisions And underneath the bricks and steel A man’s passion and his vision You hear it in the words of songs And stories where dreams come true Where optimism rules the day And all the skies are blue I had a great day in the land of ears And wands and princess gowns I saw happy faces all day long And never saw a frown So how do you fulfill your dreams? I know I learned one way You share it for the world to see And invite it to come and play

Magic Wand
A dozen fellows draped in threadbare tread densely, Profligating goons in obsidian gowns gathered under rainbow moonshine shaking bronze hands, howling and ******   in the shambles of the moon,   rap'n and nod'n to the notes of midnight. The mellow marines mourned over malice, lionizing over lost ones, many howled venerated, exalted in wonder in  favor of their thrilling grace, and delight, and brilliance, and might! but some neighboring sticklers,     behaved haughty and in disdain,   of the crowdy Cavaliers bellowing echoes signaling out                  to the seers of the sea, singing to the wands overwatching the wedding, and ravens listened,    roving like noble patrolsmen. Traveleres and trainees at sea    humble and bright niave, and frieghtened in traverse,            volatile and toiling,            tireless, Lunatics, (laughing, laughing, laughhing,) Rumaging through rain, fireciely, rallying and rableroused, through towering halls of mohogony,      hefty and wholesome were their hearts though, beast of the woodsy edifice were foul and benumb scowling with contempt, haste to devide and devised to hindrance. Hence the heroes heed    to the valleys of rose, and violet, and strawberry fields of forever,  seeking Saint Nicholas, in the bustling Byzantium,       in the murky shadows of doubt.

Get out your sponges, stippling brushes and pens, It’s time for makeover-Monday-night to begin. Think Winky Lux, L’Oréal, Urban Decay, Maybelline, Armani and Fabergé It’s a black magic realm where brushes are wands, where a carnival of colors are carefully crayoned. We have palettes aplenty, in kaleidoscope hues, to create fashion looks, both bold and subdued. In the realm of makeup fashion, where trends never end, we remodel each other - for fun - when we can. Tonight, our new friend Jammie has come to watch us play, and he even brought two bottles of chardonnay. Lisa has a ‘Miss Rose’ case, like she saw in Bernadette Peters’ dressing room, on a backstage tour of the Shubert Theatre. Konjac, Kabuki, Doe foots, Spoolie, Lisa’s got legit tools to use. “When it comes to makeup,” she says, “always avoid dupes.” That night I was the chosen face, the excited living canvas. Lisa’s a practiced artist, her process is brisk and never tedious. She painted my lips a crimson cherry, alluring and brightly sensuous, my brows were moonlit art, my cheeks a midnight adumbrated edifice. Lisa created a special look, where rebellious edge met elegance. We took some snaps, then I washed it off - but Jammie was impressed!

. The more I think, and reflect about life, the more it strikes how little we need to survive. . But then the question of my life itself baffles me still. In the name of Cups and Wands and Swords and Pentacles. How does one figure out how one wants to ease into the world— in what manner what face what costume what identity shall we assume in this theatrical muse of mass-scale rehabilitation. Searching, for the right attire in a tolerable personality. To eventualize, to officiate, to become A masterpiece— by the hands of time and the wheels of fortune. So that we may be made worthy Maybe, if you were dealt with luck. Fortune's Fool— How do we know which is the correct way to go sᴉ ǝɥʇ ʇɔǝɹɹoɔ ʎɐʍ oʇ oɓ· in hindsight. To hunt for a halo in the robes of glee while you dwindle in time Abject, at sea. Cut the chase. Bleed. Heal. Await the haemorhage and its evanescence. And when you approach the Great Finale, Be free. . At any moment of time, we have one foot in the abyss while the other lapses into ecstasy. .

The Coronation. Weightless stars drop silently like petals From a distant place way up far beyond the night sky. Winter flowers blossom and fly away Landing like moths on the night, turning to petals, then rain. To shower you in love over and over again on this majestic day. Distant orchestras come together in a cyclonic, deafening crescendo Commanded by maestros flailing wands from the peaks of the highest mountains. Roll great drums! Make music for my Queen violins and cellos! Ring through valleys and across deserts Sweep up all the world’s musicians along the way! Fireworks ignite the darkness with day. Rainbows burst, more stars, come petals Saturate you in light. And shower you with my love on this, The day of your Coronation. Great Gods have come to celebrate Smiling down they send their angels To drench your glowing torso in rose petals And kiss you gently as they settle, While my tied hands yearn to give you a fond caress. Every creature in the universe has attended the grandest ceremony in time. Each gleefully holding a single rose petal To weave into your hair. My bound arms reach across continents carried like breath on the wind To deliver you my heart. Close your fist and make a wish What would your soul like to find inside? True loves lay sleeping snuggled together on the bed of the universe. Calm is the Queen With her single red rose. …………………………………………………… Sun rises and all the petals have transformed into snow. Still soft, still comforting. But with an eerie emptiness of a dream that has yet to be told. Joy is frozen in our hearts For Love eternal was denied the throne this time. Remember my sweet darling You are now my Queen of Roses. And in a palace somewhere, As far away as near I am your King. (Gerry Aldridge)

Happily Ever After... I could be the mermaid lost at sea, I could be the Alice of your Wonderland, Villans lined up with swords and spells, We'd fight them all to the end. Magic mirrors and haunted homes, Singing trees and enchanted wands, Ogres and dragons, We'll visit them all. Three wishes and glass slippers Sisters and dwarfs, I could be the rabbit of your hat, I am Wendy if your my Peter. Once Upon A Time...

Enchanted
The legs are two folded petals tucked supplely under the weight of your torso. The arms are a cloak thrown over the thighs; hands are the frayed ends, fingers the wands. The head nods at the end of its stalk from day to day, toppled; often forgetting it is attached. Shooting up through you sits "The idea." It balances over top the body and head like an egg. The heart is gunfire, semi-automatic. Your hidden heart stands above the rest, gnarled and crimsoning the strands. It has grown into all parts of you, and all your parts have inscribed into it the memory of percussion.

magic wands
Castles way up in the clouds Of the majestic sky, Unicorns galloping Up near rainbows, Doves and horses gladly accepting their freedom Fairies with their magical wands, Gnomes sitting under trees, Elves roaming Fairyland, Dream worlds full of illusions, Mirrors reflecting a girl or boy on the other side, Swans floating upon lakes with their mate, Oceans with their beauty of eternity, Wells waiting for wishes to be made Or coins to be tossed down them, Never ending paths waiting for travelers, Halls that go on forever, Day dreams and childhood wishes, Enchanted Cottages of beauty, Pristine forests where Fairies live and dwell, Waltzing flowers on a lone hill, Forgotten treasures under the ocean, Lone vast deserts, Dew-drops on sun-kissed flowers, This is my world of fantasy, dreams, Illusions and imagination. ~Marian~

*If I could wave a magic wand, as if to wave away everything to becalmed, would you, would I, look up at the sky, and tell me if you can see, if you cannot we still aren't free, as the sky has taken overview, over us, we must learn to love ourselves, **** it up, and not fall down, but rise up. we all must stop trying to play with magic, and get our heads out of such tactics, but uses our mind, to lead our souls less blind, than wands won't matter, no matter how big a disaster.*
