When you stepped in my door,
I realised I was Paradise
in my heart and soul.
You were so surefooted
because you came up from the high.
So long I longed for it.
O Fathima, only to kiss your feet!

The time was so sweet,
beyond anyone’s dream
only in pure beauty
I was rendering,
screaming to new highs.
I did it my way!
Lovely bouncing on
my polished pitch,
the rivers forget to flow
back to the seas.
But no one knew
where my toe melts!
Until you did
and took me for a tread
closer to your spring,
my sweet dream:
O Fathima, only to kiss your feet!

Your so pleased man wished
to rain down with love,
but humble you hid your feet!
You blinded the moon, snowed it
away under seven seas.
No wonder it's
your winning footing.
Like the Prophet said:
I found me the heaven
beneath the mother’s feet.
O Fathima, only on your feet!

God's love is delight itself
it is beauty itself
it is tender yet fierce
sweet yet wild
steadfast yet unpredictable
enveloping yet freeing
captivating yet boundless
protective yet empowering
certain yet never boring
relentless yet gentle
secure yet mysterious
trustworthy yet exciting
all-consuming yet unfathomable
He is everything
you’ve ever hoped for, dreamed of,
longed after or imagined
and so much more
He is the Lover of your needy,
thirsty soul and He fights
continually for your heart

My soul would not be stilled
until You reached down
and taught my heart
to sing the song
it had been made for,
until I heard You
singing it over me,
drawing me and claiming me
for Your own.

A soul at rest
comes only from a heart
fully awakened
to its strongest desire,
from a heart that knows
it is greatly longed for
by the Object
of its greatest longing.

Surely there is nothing so powerful
against a deep and agonizing grief
as a great and passionate love.

"The LORD your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
~ Zephaniah 3:17

"The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying:
'I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.'"
~ Jeremiah 31:3

"'Turn to Me and be saved,
    all you ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is no other.'"

Take me to that place
Where people are worried free
Fills with abundant grace
And everyone is longed to be

Take me to that place
Where love is in the air
By the look of the people embrace
A load I can seem to bear

Take me to that place
Where things are so hectic
Loneliness a complete disgrace
Like individuals who have been epileptic

Take me to that place
Full with ocean view
Romance is of the human race
Side by side they walk by two

Take me to that place
With ancient monuments everywhere
Feeds some with great knowledge base
And back in time to their ancestors' layer

That's the place I tell the world
Quenches one's thirst like waterfall
Apart it's to be hurled
On top of a cliff, down to a great fall

Lovely mornings, evenings, nights our hearts took flight
Laughing ceased as sighs increased.

Wafts of sensual sweet smells rose.
Bodies, curved in writhing poses glowed.

Cares lost in arousing touch, lingering fingers longed for
Secrets, shared in sacred sighs and wanton lies.

Arching union quivered and quaked.

I whispered then and will again
Stilettos are not made for walking,

Their soul purpose, freeing our rising desires,
Feeding rapturous tinglings of sensual ecstasy.

When I was just a child I went searching for my world,
one of sunlit days, adventure and beauty left unfurled.
Though these days were made to be the a key to set me free
I couldn’t have foreseen the cost that all of this would be.

As I look back on these memories I hoped to have it all,
I believed that love would listen and come answering my call.
I was certain love would find me as I filled my life with song.
Now I’d turn in all these moments for just the promise to belong.

At Oktoberfest with beer halls and the sound of German songs.
The mix of beer and smells of nuts floating through the noisy throngs.
Climbing  on the Untersberg up on Alpines mystic peaks
and attending cocktail parties with Gemany’s elite.

Climbing falls in Ocho Rios with some old and new found friends,
drinking coffee, eating lobster, and enjoying without end.
Driving through the darkened backroads from a day at Negril’s beach,
in a cab with songs of love and Marley counting down the beat.

In Cancun lagoons were vivid and alive with swarming life,
seas of sergeant majors, parrotfish, and barracuda thrive.
in the Caymans packs of stingrays had become our closest friends,
as we played among them in  a world where the beauty never ends.

The fireworks over Sydney lit the bicentennial sky
while I look upon that moment now with disbelieving eyes.
Waves from the Prince of England as he sat by princess Di
when I left the land down under, well I felt like I would die.

As I watched the sun go down over Uluru’s gold peak,
and the sun rise over Daintree as we picked our morning feast.
digging oysters off the rocks by Nelligan’s foreshores,
I was certain with my best friend that I couldn’t want for more.

Remembering the ocean as I snorkeled though it brief,
in Queensland off the shore on Australia’s barrier reef.
The beauty in Belize nearly took my breath away,
and it seemed to me that God had made this gorgeous land to play.

Camping in the South Pacific beneath the skies and palms.
In the hills of South Dakota we went panning in the calm.
With the Eiffel tower, Louvre and Twilleries rounding out another day
And the visit to the gardens of Monet just made me cry.

It’s surreal to think of all the things I’ve done throughout this life,
and the blessings that I’ve gotten seem enough to make things right.
But the simplest adventure and the one I longed for most
was a man that I could count on and would love and hold me close.

Obsessing over pregnant thoughts of the life I’d longed to live
Looking for blue patches in the rain.
Now through eyes of newborn hope,
I wait until I see you once again.

You’ve been the life I’ve longed for, though not knowing what it was,
Assured always that someday you would come,
but afraid that I wouldn’t recognize
the voice, the face, the touch.

Now I hold onto you, jealously guarding these days that are us.
Looking through your eyes and seeing myself,
finding joy hiding inside,
loving the person of you.

Electric dreams of crying electric sheep
Sweep through my mind full of sleep
Dance across the diamond sky
And wave as your silhouette goes by

Crying crystal eyes fixed upon the sun
With no thoughts of many but just one
The one who sings in hazy blue bars
Illuminated like the northernmost stars

Melodies warm the air and the heart
Drift past the door and into the dark
Deep in the mystery of human life
Rests the emotion tied to one night

Calm and frail under sapphire skies
Doubt and worry in worn-out eyes
Never known yet unignored
Never had but longed for

Secrets can haunt you forever.
Sometimes when something so traumatic happens to you, you can’t find it in yourself to speak up. As much as you want to scream for help you lay there empty knowing there’s no way of going back to the girl you once used to be. The girl you never cared for but now the girl you longed to be .
It was just a drink with friends, you thought. You were having fun, you thought. But silly you, just because you told him no doesn’t mean he was going to listen.
You never once thought the fun night you had would of ever robbed you of feeling any less in the world than you already did. You were wrong.
You told yourself it was nothing until you started to believe it. You were so good at putting it deep in the back of your mind .
Three Years pass but the past in your head kept playing over and over again. You will never be the same girl again.
Being silent ruined you. No, he ruined you.
You will never truly feel safe again as you feel men’s eyes glare at you piercing throughout your entire entity embodying the pain once again.

Little girl, little girl,
crying in the middle of the night
as she tries to escape
from what's inside her mind.

Monsters clinging, clutching
her soul, dragging
memories she longed
to forget

And a girl so lost
a long  time ago
that no one searched
for her,

So perhaps
She's lost her mind,
but I think she's
just lost inside

If the ache in the core of my being stops
If my eyes stop flooding dry land
If my mind stops gasping for air
If my sleep becomes tranquil
If I stop thinking your going to walk into my room
speaking the word I longed to hear
"I never left Chris, I'd never leave you"
does that mean its getting better
or does that mean I'm going crazy.

She laid in her cage, her feathers combed,
She was a beautiful red parrot.
She was taught what to speak and taught how to be,
But she lived imprisoned in a cage.

She was looked after well, and she lived with class,
But this wasn't where she longed to be.
She stared out the window, at the bright, blue sky,
And wondered how it would be if she could fly.

She had everything that she'd ever want.
But why did she feel so dull and lost?
What would her life be outside this cage?
All these questions burned inside her with rage.

She longed to live of her own free will.
She wished she could be released.
But alas! She'd live and grow old in age,
As free as a bird in a cage.
This is a little inspired by my own life I guess. Strict parents and all that. Another quick shirt one! Hope you like it!

The story began one night in the dark
when most curious minds were asleep.
Sitting silently, only fingers tapping the keys,

“You tempted me like an empty page,” he wrote,
longing for a response of immediacy
that would fill his mind with more words,
the only thing he took comfort in.

She stepped aside from the voices
at her gathering to read his message.
“Emptiness,” she wrote back, “lives in the mind,
the habit of looking for what’s lost.

There is no zero in nature.
Let me tempt you with fullness instead.
Come and see what I see, and share what is there.”

As she sent the message, she swallowed deeply
knowing that what she offered was not quite a lie
but more of an unfulfilled desire.

“I can give you what I never had,” she thought.
Her mind wandered, filling
with all the ways that only emptiness can.

He wasn’t sure what she was offering him.
Whatever it was, he longed for it.
Her words flooded him with a feeling he couldn’t name.
Love? Desire?  Intoxication? Yes.

As the sun rose, he took no notice of fatigue, thirst, hunger.
He forgot the empty days,
the time spent looking in the mirror,
counting the lost years.
He began again to write.

the boy with the red blindfold
was a depiction of craving and devotion
of course that meant he was all but longed for
his golden wavy hair fell into his storm hued eyes
his sleet grey and blue unseeing eyes
the eyes that the scorned sworn blazed sea green under apollo’s sun
he covered his over-praised eyes with a rose tinted scarf
he didn’t need to see
he was blind and oblivious anyway
red was a curse
red, the color of human romance
the color of animal blood
the color of his kisses
the color of his insides, his tattered body
not the color of happiness though
never the color of his lovers
not the colors of his freckles or eyes
the boy with the red blindfold could see only red
red is my favorite color

She was seated under a palm tree
staring straight into the horizon
reminiscing the past
a part of her longed to go back
to those warm yet lively hugs of eternal comfort
but deep down she knew it was unimaginable
so she laid there
thoughts running through her uncanny mind
memories of people she longed for
but alas, it was the past
never forgotten always cherished

Falling in these lonely lands
where sorrow was known
so I carried my heart in both hands
in fear of becoming a stone.

For bruises and scars
piled up my body
that I wailed to the stars
hoping for a remedy.

Now I became coy
in these battles they won’t see
and how I wished joy
would finally stay with me.

O hear the pleas
of my troubled soul
I longed to spread my wings
that darkness stole.

I fear pain will soon be my home
Living in lies
is where I shouldn’t roam
and the light in me silently cries

crying for the chance
of a happy life.

You are completely unaware of my feelings toward you.
For you it's just a kiss, for me it's a conformation of our love.
For you it's just a hand hold, for me it's the moment that I have longed for forever.
For you it's a "friendship" but I wish we were lovers.

I have not ever seen ?
Valley in calm since i was a teen
killing and mourning daily routine
Since i was a little teen
Valley hovered by clouds of death
No one able to take a free breath
Unfortunate fate! still feeling proud
But oh ! We are not allowed
Why should i feel worry
I am still a kashmiri.

She was a fallen angel
dreary with the notion of abandonment.
She longed for redemption
but settled for oblivion.
She turned her eyes towards the sky and cursed the heavens.
She had fallen and fallen hard.
A wayward soul she had become.
Lost and tired, she carried on through purgatory stumbling though shadows and the 13 shades of night.
As she yearned to ascend
she fell deeper and deeper into mortality.
Unabled to find the path to salvation
she cut to release the tension from her weary mind.
Laying on the ***** subway station floor, bleeding and beaten,
She again looks towards the heavens
this time in prayer
'Let all the innocent be saved.'
She closed her eyes and took her last breath

i dream about you, sometimes.

after days when im full of caffeine and "what ifs", nights

when i cant fall asleep until the blue flows back into my bedroom walls

when i cant seem to shut off the dreams and nightmares

when i cant make my memories fade along with the light

a faceless being

someone ive never known, yet i know you better than anyone else

you're the warmth pressed to my back

you're the comfort in this worlds apocalypse

you're the thing i never knew i longed to have, until i didn't have you.

One thing about rain:
it's not just water nor droplets
but bullets of different emotions.
A match stick that burns your soul
in a deep, vague coldness.

Some found happiness from it;
I once did.
And some did find something
they did not want nor expect.

But a thing about rain:
you will always find something.
It will always give you a thing,
even if you're not aware.
And when you're not aware,
let me tell you,
it is the rain.

A thing about rain,
it's a door.
A door that leads to places you once went.
A door that opens widely for a rent.
It is more than just water;
it's a memory
You can't assume it is the same place
you once longed to be.
We can't say that door is safe
nor the door is free.

Some were trapped,
some managed to escape,
some managed to smile,
and I managed to fear.
I fear that rain would prolong and
would bear a fruit.
But it didn't, it just plucked up
a great root.

How wonderful the rain could be.
How it crashed to ground a resilient tree.
How one could change with a single memory.
And how rain triggers my anxiety.
Rainy weather makes me anxious sometimes.

Oh, my rose-tinted gazelle
Whose grey doe-eyed gaze reproves
I was a grassland that longed to be grazed
And trampled ‘neath your dainty hooves

Oh, my long-legged huntress
With lips like a recurve bow
I was a rabbit who begged to be shot
And left to bleed out in the snow

Oh, my sweet Georgian iris
Whose arched petals shun my sight
I daren't cut you and hasten your end
So I visit your garden each night

Oh, my rolling green moorland
Whose cold crags offer no peace
I sought my rest in your slopes in vain
Rending my skirts in my grief
this one isn't 100% done but I'm tossing it out into the void anyway to encourage myself to revise it well. it's supposed to be kind of silly.
