Words Unspoken
Sam S 36m
Some things are left without a sound,
Yet still, they echo all around.
The things we hide beneath the skin,
Can show without a word or grin.

A glance can speak the things we fear,
A silence that the heart holds dear.
The unspoken truths remain alive,
In every pause, in every sigh.

No voice is needed to be true,
For silence whispers what we knew.
The quiet speaks the deepest plea,
A language only hearts can see.

Written In Stone
Sam S 1d
The river carved the rocks with time,
Yet swore it left no trace behind.
The fire kissed the wood and air,
Then claimed it never once was there.

The storm may pass, the echoes thin,
Yet something lingers deep within.
Not seen, not named, but not erased—
Some marks were never meant to fade.

Dormant Seeds
Sam S 7d
The sun still shines, the breeze still calls,
The rain still taps, the silence falls.
And when the moment feels just right,
The petals burst, a gift to sight.

The seed has slept, the world has spun,
The waiting game is nearly done.
The petals stretch, the colors gleam,
Awakening from winter’s dream.

It did not rush, it did not break,
It bloomed when time was sure to take.
A lesson whispered through the air—
Some things must wait to grow so fair.

The soil cradles the seed,
the seed cradles a secret.

It knows it can bloom.
Knows the sun will greet it,
the rain will nourish it,
the bees will come.

Yet still,
it waits.

Because blooming is not just survival—
it is choosing to step into the light.

No Invitation Needed
Sam S Feb 2
You can know someone for years
and never really know them.
And then there are those
who understand you
before you even speak.

There are friends for now,
friends for a while,
and the rare ones—
the ones who never need an invitation
to understand.

Lessons
Sam S Jan 27
There are no good or bad,
Only what is,
And what will be.
Each moment unfolds
A lesson, quietly.

No right, no wrong,
No black, no white,
Only the steady rhythm
Of shadows and light.

What is, must be,
And what will be, is done—
Not to punish, nor to praise,
But to teach, to become.

So let the lessons rise
Like waves on the sea.
There are no good or bad—
Only what is, and what will be.

The Wolf and The Bear
Sam S Jan 22
The wolf runs wild within my chest,
Its footsteps heavy, never rest.
It leaps through valleys of my doubt,
A creature I cannot chase out.
Yet still I breathe, I hunt the night,
For even shadows fade with light.

But alongside, in quiet grace,
The bear walks steady, knows its place.
It watches with a patient eye,
A strength that’s silent, never shy.
In moments dark, when all feels lost,
The bear reminds me of the cost:
That peace, not violence, shows the way,
And wisdom knows when to delay.

The wolf may chase, the bear may roam,
But in their dance, I find my home.
Good wolf, bad wolf? Who knows, only the bear that roams.
Sam S Jan 22
Step in, as the day wanes low,
The horizon softens, a calming glow.
Time to reset, to breathe, to see,
How far we’ve come, how far we’ll be.

Step out, and let the night descend,
A cycle ending, only to begin again.
For as the stars replace the sun,
The big reset has just begun.

This Is Not a Love Poem
Sam S Jan 13
They told me love was butterflies,
A spark, a flutter, a fleeting high.
I believed in hearts that race,
In passion’s sweet, relentless chase.
But time, the teacher, whispers low:
Love is more than feelings show.

Look at those who’ve walked the years,
Through laughter bright and silent tears.
Do they still feel the fevered thrill,
Or something deeper, stronger still?
There are days they fight, they ache,
When love seems almost a mistake.

Yet in the anger, in the rain,
In moments of the deepest pain,
Love remains, a quiet force,
A steady hand that charts the course.
Not just a feeling, wild and free,
But a choice, a will, a loyalty.

So love is more than what we feel,
It’s what we build, it’s what we heal.
Through storms and calm, through wrong and right,
It’s what we hold, through darkest night.
A bond, a vow, a sacred art—
To love when it’s hardest on the heart.
This is not a love poem, but rather a realization, an evolution of understanding. Love is beyond a fleeting feeling. It’s a testament to those who have loved for generations, who carry on despite the despair, and who show us that love endures in commitment, respect, growth, and resilience.

Rare as Them
Sam S Jan 11
There’s a rare breed who go all in,
Shining bright, fierce within.
Few can match their fearless drive,
Turning dreams into the life they strive.
Here’s to the individuals who give their all to their pursuits, pushing beyond limits, and embracing every challenge.

Beyond the Digital Maze
Sam S Jan 10
Ironic, isn’t it,
To be seen by so many,
Eyes upon your every move,
A window to the world,
Yet a door locked shut.

A false sense of connection,
More friends than ever before,
Likes that flood your screen,
But how many really know
The you behind the mask?

Fingers swipe, messages blur,
An endless stream of faces,
Yet in the quiet moments,
Who remains?
Who hears the whispers of your soul?

So hold to hope, and trust the few,
Who see the world beyond the view,
For in their hearts, you’ll find a place,
Of genuine warmth, a true embrace.
Never have we been so connected, yet so disconnected. In a world where digital presence often replaces genuine interaction.

We Wake
Sam S Dec 2024
Why do we build up all the good things,
Just to knock them right back down?
Why craft a throne of fragile dreams,
Then cast away the crown?

Why sculpt with care a world of light,
Then drape it in despair?
Why light the flame that warms the night,
Only to leave it bare?

Are we the storm that shakes the bridge,
The tide that swallows sand?
Or is it fear that tips the scales,
Unsteady in our hands?

Perhaps destruction feels like power,
A way to hide the ache.
Or we rebuild because we hope,
Despite each fall — we wake.

For every ruin holds a seed,
Each crumble tells a tale.
And maybe, in this rise and fall,
We learn we’re meant to fail.

To fail, rebuild, and fail again,
Until the truth shines through:
That building up is worth the fall,
For growth ignites anew.

Born of Ashes
Sam S Dec 2024
Wisdom rises from the ashes
Of every fire you’ve walked through.
Each flame, a trial; each ember, a lesson,
Etched deep into the core of who you are.

Your scars shine like constellations,
Mapping the paths you’ve burned to survive.
In every wound, there is strength;
In every pain, a quiet power blooms.

Do not fear the flames that come again;
They cannot break you as they did before.
This time, you’ll walk through the fire—
Not to escape,
But to be reborn.

Still Waters, Silent Flames
Sam S Dec 2024
I wear my kindness like armour,
But don’t be fooled by the glow,
For beneath it lies a fury,
That only few will ever know.

When I choose to show you love,
It’s not a weakness, don’t be deceived,
For a heart that’s been through hell
Knows when to stay, and when to leave.

Be grateful for the peace I give,
And remember, it’s earned, not free.
For I am both fire and stillness,
And you’ll see both,
Please don’t test me.

One Soul
Sam S Nov 2024
One soul can stray, split in two,
Lost through time, unsure what’s true.
Yet in the end, we’re one same mould,
Forever bound, a story retold.
Sometimes it feels that we have lost a part of ourselves, only to find it hidden deep within.

A Restless Mind
Sam S Nov 2024
Alone with thoughts that spin and bind,
Prisoner of an anxious mind.
Worried of change, afraid to start,
Seeking a match to calm the heart.

For all we long for is someone near,
To build us up, to make things clear—
A shared embrace, a bond that’s true,
To lift each other and see it through.

For bonds can heal, but wounds remain,
A tender dance of joy and pain.
Yet through the storm, we rise, we find,
A peace within the restless mind.

Fear
Sam S Nov 2024
Fear
The first dark breath we take,
a shadow that grows as we learn its name.
It lives in quiet corners,
where thoughts echo back our doubts,
and we wonder—are we truly alone?

Afraid of what’s lost, afraid to hold on,
we spin in loops of overthought,
making prisons from our own doubts.
How strange it is to long for touch,

to carry the weight of endless what-ifs,
a reel of past and future fears,
afraid to step forward, afraid to let go.

But somewhere beyond this haze of worry,
beyond the walls we’ve built so high,
a light breaks through, soft and true.
And deep down I know, one day I’ll find you—
So I can say, I got you;
everything’s gonna be okay.
Fear—
why do we let it grow?
Born without, yet taught to know,
Of futures that might never be,
Shadowed by what we cannot see.

Rare Friendships
Sam S Nov 2024
I won’t be my best every day—
Some days my thoughts will run away,
And nights will find me tangled in doubt,
Here, but distant; present, but checked out.

There will be moments I’m a lot to hold,
A storm to weather, a story retold.
I don’t blame those who step aside,
It takes a rare heart to stay for the ride.

But if you choose to stay, to be near,
To face the rough with the smooth and clear,
I’ll meet you there with all I am—
Imperfect, true, and always loyal to all of you.

Relentless Spark
Sam S Oct 2024
Ever feel it, raw and deep,
a need that pulls, won’t let you sleep?
A voice that lingers, aches, persists,
a hidden truth clenched in your fists?

And did you try to push it down,
to mute that cry, to drown it out?
Yet there it blazes, fierce and bright,
a spark that begs to see the light.

The Piece I Left Behind

The Quiet Fire
Sam S Oct 2024
Through pain and hardship, strength is grown,
Where courage blooms from seeds unknown.
It’s easy to forget the fight,
That forged their hearts within the night.

The strongest souls bear hidden scars,
Their battles waged in silent wars.
Yet walls are built, and hearts made true,
With every storm they battled through.

Now confidence, like stone, remains,
A quiet fire, fed by pains.
From broken ground, they rise and stand—
The toughest hearts, the gentlest hands.

Dance of Eternity
Sam S Oct 2024
Across the boundless tapestry of time,
I have wandered through forgotten ages,
Shrouded in myriad guises,
Each existence a thread woven into an eternal fabric,
Circling endlessly, always seeking resolution.

Every life, a fleeting echo,
A delicate brushstroke on the canvas of eternity,
A dance in the vast cosmic symphony,
Reaching for a union so profound—
Yet slipping away, like mist before the dawn.

I have carried the weight of centuries,
The ache of memories etched deep in my bones,
Trapped in the cyclical dance of transient meetings,
Glimmering for a moment
Before dissolving into the shadows.
Sam S Sep 2024
Loyalty, honesty, respect—
That’s all I ask, and all I give.
I’d never seek to change your soul,
For it’s your spirit that makes me whole.
Through laughter, tears, and all we’ve known,
You’ve never had to walk alone.
I stand with you, in light or dark,
Our bond unshaken, a constant spark.
No need for words, no need for show,
True friendship’s strength is all I know.

Will it be better, as we all change,
Or will you let the tides decide your fate?

Where Love Grows
Sam S Sep 2024
Love isn’t just about perfect fits,
Or seamless lives that neatly mix.
Two hearts can come from worlds apart,
With different dreams, a different start.

It’s not in sameness love is found,
But where we seek the middle ground.
Where compromise and patience grow,
And each one bends, just enough to know—

That love’s not in the flawless way,
But in the choice we make to stay.
To build, to learn, and to endure,
Through storms and doubts, love becomes sure.

So don’t just search for “the one” to find,
But be the one who stays, who’s kind.
For love’s not just in finding gold,
But in the hands that learn to love and hold

Caged Fire
Sam S Sep 2024
I’ve chained the beast, but still it breathes,
Its whispers soft, like coals beneath.

In silence, I keep the monster still,
But wonder—does it break my will?
Does peace erode the flame I keep,
Or sharpen it within the deep?

There’s beauty in this quiet war,
A dance with rage I can’t ignore.
And though I lock the beast away,
Its shadow stains the light of day.

Hold Every Moment
Sam S Sep 2024
Woke up with the sunrise, chasing time again
Every breath we take is a line we can’t amend
There’s a fire in the distance, flickering in the night
Reminding me that nothing’s ever promised in this life

So take my hand, let’s run into the unknown
Feel the wind, hear the earth in every tone
We’re only here for a heartbeat, so let’s make it last
Before the sky turns to ashes and the moments pass

Hold every moment, don’t let it slip away
Tomorrow’s not promised, so let’s live for today
We’re echoes of time, we’re the souls that remain
In the spaces between, we can break every chain
So hold every moment, while the stars still align
Embrace every heartbeat, let it pulse with the divine

I’ve seen faces fade, watched love drift apart
But in every broken piece, there’s a brand-new start
We’re the stories we carry, the lessons we learn
Every bridge that we cross is a flame that we burn

So take the risk, let’s dive into the deep
For in the darkest waters, we find truths we keep
The seconds we waste, they won’t ever return
But the love that we give is the fire we yearn

We’ll never stop learning, we’ll never stop growing
In every connection, there’s a piece of us glowing
No matter how fleeting, we’ll carry it through
In the end, it’s the love that defines what we do

In every fleeting second, there’s a lifetime inside
So hold every moment, we’re the flames that never die
I’ll leave this little reminder here for the future me—to not forget the value of every moment and the importance of living fully.

Leigh
Sam S Sep 2024
In the quiet of familiar places,
We feel the space you once filled,
A gentle ache that lingers on,
A friendship time can’t still.

Old friend, now part of the past,
Your laughter echoes, faint but true,
A whisper in the wind’s soft breath,
Always bringing thoughts of you.

“Sometimes you hit the bar, sometimes the bar hits you,”
You’d say with a grin, wise and wry.
Your words linger like a toast raised high,
A reminder of how you lived, unafraid to try.

Though years may dim the memories,
And days stretch long and wide,
You remain within our hearts,
A presence by our side.

Missed, yet never far away,
Your light continues to stay.

RIP

Sunrise Over The Bloom

A flower once in shadowed ground,
Timid, fragile, lost, not yet found,
Yearning for the sun’s embrace
To lift its head, to find its place.

In time, the rays began to pour,
And fear gave way to something,
More.

For in the earth, when strength is sown,
A flower stands, its courage grown
Forever seen, it’s spirit strong,
No longer wondering what went wrong.

A flower once in shadowed ground,
Timid, fragile, lost, unbound,
Yearning for the sun’s warm gleam
To rise and lift, to find its dream.

With time, the golden rays descend,
And fear gives way as shadows mend.

For in the soil where strength is sown,
A flower stands, its courage grown,
Its spirit bright, no longer lost,
With every petal, past is crossed.

Resilient Tides
Sam S Sep 2024
Feelings, they’re like waves,
Crashing without cease,
Emotions surge and spiral,
Yearning for release.
I’m both tender and fierce,
A garden drenched in night,
Where ivy coils around my heart,
And moonflowers crave the light.

In this storm of passion,
There’s a strength that burns so deep,
Resilience forged in whispers,
Where love and darkness meet.
I navigate this world within,
With a compass kissed by fire,
And find that in the heart of chaos,
Lies the pulse of my desire.

— The End —
