I always wondered
why on earth
the betrayal exist...
the lies - we tell
the promises - we break
the castles we build - in the air
but then i watched
the sun
plunges into the horizon
and then i knew why
without a darkness
the world could never
appreciate the dawn...
if the betrayal
didn't exist at all
- True Love would be
meaningless for all...

Love is like a sailboat
when the tides are high
and rough,
in the midst of storm
We throw off the bowlines,
surrender the helm
to the winds
and choose to
adrift - into the unknown

Love
is like
scaling The Everest
the higher you go,
the more difficult
it becomes
to breathe...
so my dear
bear with me
If I stop
to acclmatize
and catch my breath
before I could
push further up
don't you worry
I am not giving up
just yet...

We often seek love
with mind and logic
not knowing
that in its world
It lets us walk
on water,
It lets us see
the rainbows
in pitch-black darkness,

to the moon and back
It fills the void
In our souls,

When you are in love
you start seeing things
that never existed before
and it blows you out of your mind

On the New Year's Eve,
As the clock hits midnight
and marks the new beginning
- The show begins
In a flash,
the night sky
gets lit on fire,
Fiery flowers hissing and fizzing,
their crackle and boom
steal the silence,
and in the midst of this frenzy;
I begin to ponder
that with each passing year,
we are racing towards - our destiny,
so I look back
and question myself
to contemplate
the mistakes I made,
the promises I break,
the unrealistic goals - I set,
and in this moment
I know why many of us
(when entering into the new year)
misses the mark
just like the kids who were
shooting rockets - in the dark...

I have burned
all the boats
to reach to your shore
so my dear!
You can either
take me with you
Or leave me drowned...

Some birds
when locked in a cage
for a ****'s age
forget flying
and when they are
set free

even with
the perfect wings
they can't flee...

so my dear
If you are
in a cage
don't shed
your precious tears
it's futile
every hue and cry
will surely fall
on deaf ears

Instead  
just close your eyes
and let yourself
fly high - up in the skies

so when the time come
you will have
the perfect wings,
guts،
grit,
nerves
and everything...

and Keep daydreaming...

As we grow old
The beauty we have
fades away,
our strength and memories
never stay the same,
No matter how deep  
our pockets are
- the casket can't be filled
with our wealth
all the ties are cut
the moment we are
laid to rest
so tell me my dear
why should we
take pride in things
that don't last forever?

Your love
has dried up the ocean
in my eyes,
so when the pain
seeps in,
I pour the wine
of your thoughts
in my pen
and let the words

Not knowing that

In the world of evil amd doubts
- It's the faith
that splits the sea
and moves the mountains

The World has stopped

Everything we need

as if it's our own little world
Let's just sit by the window
as the sky is clear
and watch the sunset

It was cold lousy and stormy day,
and there i was
watching my hopes and dreams
slip away...
so I looked up the sky
to keep my anguish  and suffering at bay
watching the moonlight - swiftly glides
and there I was
with my deep thoughts  - making strides
letting myself soaked in the rain
letting all the tiny raindrops
wash over me
and making me whole Again!

from its very existence

and the moment shivers - in darkness

The Wind never

under the clouds

of storm,
reaches
upto the far side
of horizon
and never run
short of breath...

and she's like a wind...

It's a full moon
tonight
and i find myself
lost
in old times...
when i first laid eyes on you
It felt as if you were like a moon
miles and miles away,
glittering
in your own sky,
Out of reach...
So one could only

for a brief moment...

This pandemic
is taking a toll
On our lives
But,
On the bright side
It has also exposed
Many Faces
Wearing "Masks"...

The noise inside my head
is so loud
that it doesn't let my voice in

and yet,
Something in it changes
all the chaos and swirl
fall into silence
when You Speak...

If you can read
I am an open book
-  full of gibberish
but If you have
The Cipher of love
You can decrypt it,
unlock it's secrets
and explore my World

I never believed
in fairy tales
until
I met her
The time stopped
the moment she smiled...
and since then
I have been living
In Wonderland...

The desire to love
and be loved
is hard wired
in every human being

No matter, how hard you try
You just can't
Pull the plug
Or pretend
You don't care...

Don't you see

The moon can't stop
pulling the tides

A Dead Sea...

The Fall is upon us

It's when the birds leave
for their new home...
So you may flee
as well
and I will watch you leaving
happily
like a stubborn tree.

It’s  a night full of stars
shining million miles away...
and yet
the majestic beauty of our very earth
drawing them into the fray...
breaking them apart
and then to the earth
Some of them depart...
As they get closer - they turn
to hot fiery ball
No one could knew
the meaning they hold
a wish .. a warning...a  confession...
Or a war....
But we all love watching
The falling stars..

We humans
are the most ungrateful species
We don't learn to appreciate things
Until they are
Taken away...

Far beyond the horizon
the show begins
and the sun
starts to set
Painting the sky
with red
and many shades and blends
of orange
It's the hour
when sadness descends
gratuitously...
Ripples of light
fades away...
and so the birds
call it a night
so why are we
standing on the shore,
watching this spectacle
and still wandering?

The noises
don't let me sleep
at the day
And The Silence
Keeps me awake
At Night

Sometimes,
No matter how satisfactory
Your explanation is
It wouldn't matter
because
You have already been judged

I don't know about you
but I always find it satisfying
to always expect less
and hope for more...

The moon borrows the light
from the sun
and so is the light in my eyes
reflects your love...

Sometimes i feel
that you are
the "North Pole"
with you
time doesn't pass
like it should
You are the land
of mid-night sun
which never sets - in the summer
and it doesn't matter
how far i've explored - the uncharted waters
you are still
full of mysteries
and myths....
