A drop of water is a tiny entity                                                                                By itself ...                                                                                                                  If I compare a drop of water to that                                                                        Of a grain of sand ,                                                                                                  I feel that both are wonderful realms of                                                                  Love and peace anytime ....                                                                                     A drop of water is a great world of fertility                                                            By itself and                                                                                                              A grain of sand is a wonderful world of generosity ....
Take my hand, as we walk this terrain.
To the place where upon a branch a woman was hanged.
For stealing grain to make bread, ensuring that her children fed.
Look upwards, crane your head, a woman killed for baking bread.
Now, take my hand and look overland, where grains of sand make up this barren land. From barren life hanging in a tree, to barren sand eroded by sea, come to me. Come away child.
Let's build a sand castle and forget the fear in grains and sand.

I am but one grain
Falling,
Descending,
Gliding,
Through air, I do fall
I land among many,
I am but a moment in Time,
Now passed & *gone.

*Once, I was a hard sand stone
Neither had I made a tune nor a tone
I had broken after a strong shock wave
From a waterfall, I had fallen into a pothole but could not settle

After I was moving with a long stream as a rolling stone
Now I have no edge but only passing a phase
A few days ago, I discovered myself as a grain of sand
And day by day, I have been drowning beneath the ocean

Reply to the dearest Poet Joe Cole's this week challenge:
this poem is based on life how it has become changed in course of time like a rolling stone to a grain.

Some sparkle, others don't
grains of sand on the beach.
Some coarse, the rest smooth
few close, most out of reach.
All laid down to lifes cycle
worn a little more with each relentless tide.
Formed, broken or evolving?
From "Big bang" to this beach, a cosmic ride.
Grain of sand poem for Mr. Cole.
Joe Cole Sep 2014
After the last minimally complex challenge I decided to make this weeks challenge a lot more simple.

A grain of sand

In eight lines, again you have one week
Daylight 4U2C May 2014
"Grow up tall,
little kid,"
said grandpa Joe.
And so I did.

The watermelon grow tall too.
The sunflowers look to the sky,
keeping their chins up,
raised real high.

So maybe it's silly,
watching grass grow,
but if you never try,
how could you ever know?

So maybe it's crazy,
chanting for the rain,
but if it never comes,
how could I grow the grain?

I'd prefer to stare at clouds,
than sleep forever like a rock,
skidding by life.
Why, that would just ****!

So, if you ask me to leave this here place,
you better shove it,
before you wake up
in an unknown space,
******* with lace,
with a disfigured face,
completely full of mace,
and a strange case
of something poisonous.
