beyond life’s bitter findings
we can taste the sweet-embrace
of expansion that we’re soon to face
by making space for what’s aligning

since the first day we caught eyes

like an illusion of mine

like our lack of time

we may always be
seas away and
dimensions apart
but the quieter you get
the louder i can hear you
in the drumming of my heart

all that exists is now

or how deeply the stars listen

relish in this

of this incredible
gifted experience
consume you

until no separation exists
between where your soul ends
and the rest of existence begins

when i became the sun
i felt the trees and rivers run
along the deepest parts of me
i sang the oceans roar to sleep

the clouds arrived to give me space
at times the moon would take my place
and i would gladly let her shine
knowing it never could dim mine

no reason to feel jealousy
for everything is one with me
i no longer feared dark at set
for my own light, i can’t forget

my warmth fills me even in snow..
and when it falls, my glimmer glows
the contrast is just what i need
it is the planter of the seeds
to flowering love inside of me

do you know of the Light
that fills your entirety?
or the Pure Magic
your existence brings?
that you’re beyond

that your darkness

so that your Light

i could uproot
all of the bad seeds this world

lives a flicker of fleeting fate

soon my cold hands
are warmed by the heat
which flows from the flames
that first flickered in me
the ones i had tamed
just for spelling your name

but i am the warmth
i am all of the flames
what burns inside me
will forever remain

as does the truth
one that i misconstrued
about that great glow
i thought started in you
but you just reflected
the Light that i bloomed
i am the Sun
you just acted my moon

for no thing i see
exists outside of me
the fire is burning
always at my seams
glowing to guide me
and help me to see
alone on the paths
that lead me
back to me

everything's changing
yet i'm here still remaining
growing stronger and gaining
my Light from what pained me

and when they fed you their falsities

as if half of you had gone away

when in truth—you were noting short of gold

and you should have been told
the one thing they couldn't be
was everything they knew
you needed them to be

and when this realization hits
they don't even have the heart to admit
you were everything they wanted
but couldn't be

so they just had to taste it 
they had to feel your breeze

and then they leave...

i wondered where you had been my whole life
and i think that's where we went wrong
just like the nights you spent telling me words
in the way your language speaks them
and i spent my hopes and dreams on them
i could see them being the key to all my wants and needs

but magic is made up of tricks
and you sure are the master
at making me believe the trees were real
but lately the plastic leaves have melted from the fire
you rekindled in my heart
and even if the words weren't true
you gave me something bright and new

i know we all are trying to be the best humans we can possibly be
so i don't blame you for leaving what you breathed into me
because really, i chose you to come do these things to my heart
i prayed and hoped and i manifested you to be there

undress yourself of judgement
and conditions will lose their meaning
our differences have our souls singing

we came here to love and be love
appreciate your own unique abilities
think of what a blessing it is to breathe
to be exactly what you are in this moment
it is exactly what you came here to be
you are already everything you dream
just close your eyes to see

your bones
they glow
with galaxies
you have yet to
come to know

and when you sink
the ocean floor
becomes your home

the water finds
a way to seep
out of the corners
of your eyes

to wash away
all of their lies

salt that dances
in your wounds
will carry you
up to the sky

and you will feel
much more alive

so you can breathe
in the sunshine
and realize that
those falls arrived
to help you find
new ways to rise

i am tying my best not to
but i do it without trying

life really is sunshine and rainbows
if you wake up and choose to see it
even in the clouds hanging over our heads
and beneath all of the lonely in our beds
there is light that softy shines ahead

and it is constant

with a kaleidoscope
of colors that blossom
from pain once endured
and sunshine that follows
with just the kind of warm
that you never even knew
you’d been searching for

and eventually, when it pours
you’ll start asking for more
because you’ll feel that the growth
is worth all that you came here for

and when your heart breaks
