Elephant in the room, shoo the hell away! Don't stick around; I wish you wouldn't stay Don't mess with my head, inciting all I feel I don't need you here, I want to heal Stop blaring in my ears, your noxious lies I'm sick to the stomach with my pathetic cries Resist flapping your gigantic ears They simply just fan the rage in my tears Quit blocking my view with your sheer enormity Get out of my thoughts so better I could see Halt your incessant skin rubbing against my sores Chafing me raw on top of my existing scores Pull out your pointy tusks, they poke and jab I'm bent in many places; I don't need more stabs Take your infernal rear out of my face! I'm self-destructing, counting up the days Cease your retaliation, leave with no protest Go find and sit yourself in someone else's nest Drop your intentions to stomp me broken I'm mangled enough; almost misshapen End this mindless rampage...please Let me iron myself straight, in peace... Dear elephant, have you gone? Thank you for the blight of my time, you've spawned

Elephant
I woke up, panic attack in full swing. This wasn't right. He wasn't supposed to win. This wasn't supposed to happen! Morning call to my best friend, we're sobbing into each other's phones. We fear. We fear because we're not cis or heterosexual. We fear for our brothers, sisters, and siblings lacking a title. I fear for what will become of the country I live in. I promise I wouldn't stand for my country's flag any more as long as he is our "president". I can't respect someone who is accused of ****** a 13 year old girl. He is no man, he was a joke for the Internet to feed off of, until it became too serious and real. Until the day youths of the LGBTQ+ community woke up terrified for their lives because his Vice President would favor having a dead child rather than a gay child, until the day Muslim women questioned if they should wear their hijab anymore because they feared retaliation for their religion from xenophobes, until the day the the chance of hate crimes seemed like a more likely answer for bigots because someone isn't white, until the day laughs of mockery turned into tears of fright. This monstrosity may only be with us for four years, but a hell of a lot can happen in four years. I don't trust this person to run our country, I don't feel safe. I feel exposed and abandoned by the rights I was promised. I wish to join hands with everyone else who is in my position, and let this sink in until the day in January comes, where he gets his wish, and is finally in control.

Picture yourself: confident threads, in a mix fabric shirt. You're in a relationship, and it's full of love. Till one day, it's skewed. The love is there by title, but the actions have fled. Hands cupping a Samsung, rather than your hand. Their mind fixed to any and everything, but a conversation with you. Spend the whole day together, with but a few, short replies. Keep telling yourself, it will improve. In the blue light haze, sitting right next to the love of your life, feeling lonelier than ever. Unable to express it, for fear of retaliation. So you sit there, noting the confidence count on the clothes you're wearing isn't high enough for this. So you stay silent, wondering what's so captivating, in the blue light.

I say to you, That to those you hate. Give them a hug. Not because they wont know what to do, Or it’s confusing or peaceful But because if you throw a punch, they might punch you back, And with the retaliation in mind, giving a hug seems the best plan of attack… I know I’d prefer a cuddle to a thump or a smack. So hug them. If you do hopefully they wont know what to do back to you And ******* their mind by simply being kind Is well, **** it. It’s awesome.

For years, they stole and robbed from our pockets. For years, they murdered what faith we had, Killed what hope we gained for ourselves. Poverty loomed over us like death, the Loss of materialistic payment. Currency controls; We have none. Beginning with a silly addition to parchment and paper. A "stamp act," if you will. Oh, the rarity of a few extra Coins to spend on a cake for the mistress! Rebellion and violence against the act increased, The Sons, the ones of Liberty left Blood splattered on the ground we walk on. Fear installed in the hearts of agents, Collecting and shivering as coins ring in their satchels. Soon, though, they left. Resigned and replaced themselves with Another thief. The Townshend- adding cents more to imported, Provided, goods. The people starved for things They need and can not afford. Naive. They had materials. They had the skill, But no need to use what they contained in their minds And their bodies. Begin the new world! Spin your own yarn and twine! Build your own shoes! You don't need the goods From old English factories and makers. The disagreements and retaliation, the lack in Morality in the brainwashed heads of soldiers. A bothered redcoat drew his gun, leaving holes, Horrible voids. The dive from cliff to cliff, swing from tree to tree, The ****** of blood and The determination to be freed from the grasp of A controlling monarchy. The greed they exhibit and the cruelty. Revenge for taking what is ours? Sweet tea, English tea, Soaked in the harbor. The tax will be no more! The need for peace, rejected by one Who wanted control and a steady reign. The isolation, suffocation of the new land like an Abused child. It was only a matter of time before the child ran away.

He has brutalised your beauty And made you fragile. Tears tremble on cobalt lashes Bruised, bewildered Goddess fallen, Breaking as you fell. You sought and brought happiness, warmth and abundance, But lived, it seemed, a life of anything but. Now facing a vindictive rage You must remain stoic. Your mythical namesake Found no comfort or pleasure in retaliation, or revenge. He is incapable of love And will never back down. You will need to find the strength to match His angry bile with wile and guile His iciness with fire, Remorseful honesty shows him A cold, and bitter liar.

The Plight of Hera
The honey in the lion sounds like a delicious thing–– a gentle balm capable of subduing the cruellest of monsters. According to the stars and tattooed, you fancied yourself king of the jungle–– lazy in hot African afternoons. Golden and tawn with sleepy sun-gold eyes, shaggy mane, muzzle red with the blood of a gazelle. Did you think me such easy prey? Or was I so much fermented honey, only a sweet intoxicant. Sun warmth seeps from jungles of cold concrete. I mistook your gargoyle wings for those of a guardian angel’s. I overlooked your rough skin, your crooked hawk nose and your skinny ribs, and assigned fine things in you that didn’t exist. So duped, I acquiesced to your slimy kiss. Your mouth a neglected cemetery, teeth a row of mossy tombstones. Vampire. Incubus. Your seduction like grotesque death. You named me tempest in a teacup, but I was the eye of the storm. Until the night the eye was eradicated, and the storm blew in, striking me dumb with your sound and fury. But no spattered blood and no spreading bruise to be found in the pattern of the kaleidoscope. No cause for alarm. Today I am lost in a picture show, a beautiful world coloured by nostalgic past. Women’s lips the vivid red print of a velvet valentine. Head in the Clouds, I fantasize about a certain scene. Because you think violence is **** retaliation – ********** in my dream. Give me an eye for my eye, for all the eyes you plucked, from women and breadwinners. Give me blood running down your back, sweet as honey.

Such useless paper when created are given to greedy and idiotic people whose only instinctual intentions is to spend and create more... More of what? what is the useless paper It doesn't grow on trees But actually it is a tree maybe 17000 of them And they have the audacity to destroy those trees children? and parents? and history!!!! Those faded green papers of money fulled of BACTERIA and viruses transporting on human beings as though  a retaliation from god As God planned to reigned over the corrupted America But I take that green dollar and spend it knowing full well that there is something scarier then God's Wrath Money

Your actions speak like knives that carve away at the soul of my being. They stab the tender flesh of my faith. Your words force their way through my heaving chest From the fork of your tongue and rip out my battered heart, Leaving a gaping cavity of tangle arteries that ooze out scattered emotions from deep within the shredded bloodied tissue that remains. Exposed and vulnerable to the elements of your ramped terror, the wound quickly festers from the stench of your infectious hatred that slithers it's way into the detatched arteries and consumes any thought of compassion. And is diseased with progressive revenge and retaliation that becomes the driving force of strength that remedies the  forgiveness that unconditional love's natural immunity  produces and is temporary remedy to the heart retching incurable depression and permanent lifelasting pain. That haunts me it taunts me again and again. ...... And so begins the plague

SINS OF A FATHER The origin of an epidemic
Distant clown, over-grown cow. Greed, fled, fed, boat-led Sam, Getting nowhere, near no fear. Inner, sinner; surrogate's recycle-Bin. Learned not we have, might constitute. Flog a sand-bag, get dusty. Provoke, take a stand for right. Resolve why the hate. Quite! Speaking of cows- inquisitive beasts; Shouldn't be cast the wrong role. Directors fault; new term. Choice-less. Exactly. What would you do? It's not of oppression, strike-down obsession. Internal bee-stings, are not the painful. Whatever the previous past, catalyst presentation... On-going retaliation, stains not a few. **** Rocks are heavy! So what of the boat pudding? Not constructive. World should bear this too. Culinary dialogue. O'Bam, more custard?

Boat Pudding
All I can see is a wasteland of stone, glass, metal, and wooden rubble in an open air prison where children are living. Six thousand bombs, stirring up thick clouds of grey dust, obscuring the horrors people are enduring. The attackers are barely even warning people to move on. The exits are blocked. The power and water is off. The suffering doesn’t stop, and these civilians are unable to leave. How are you unable to see the hell spring of grief that is burning human beings, the furnace that still cooks even when no one bothers to look because all of the crooks were just waiting for the perfect excuse to make the news with a justified genocide. Mass ****** and more oppression with the weapons America supplied, and guess what, another child just died, more parents got radicalized, and if they survive will you be surprised if hate is the new demoncont. that wears their tired red eyes. The rich guys lied and decided that unequal retaliation is perfectly justified, so we are on a road to the extinction of human decency as the world murders our collective humanity. Crack, boom, the sound of thunder blooms orange heated chaos, breaking the foundation an entire building. A whole family line gets an early burial, as what’s left of my heart gets carried inside, popped in a box to be buried alive, because their beat was the same as mine. Nothing I write will change the minds of those unwilling to listen and see people who are close to total annihilation, as deserving of love, and compassion, but even so I am still asking. Help, please, help!?! Instead we get beheadings, mass shootings, ****** assault, retaliation, and the expectation of more tragedy to come. I can easily condemn violent actions taken, but I need to understand the origins of this rocky foundation, and potential solutions, because I can’t stand the horrors I am facing without eventually breaking.

Retraction, Retaliation, Rejection and Revelation
I’ve summed up the equation for my isolation It's People who look up, look down, left and right Desperate for information We never looked inside for much needed inspiration Instead, We lead a life of impulsive behavior mixed with preoccupation for our own reputation I've lost toleration for the weak minded population Individual thoughts slowly decay and eventually cut off circulation Sending thoughts on permanent vacation, worthy of respiration, ideas now suffer suffocation If this is my "generation" I’d rather live in hibernation You can take this as retaliation I just don’t understand why we seek gratification for having no imagination? I swear, It’s like the world around me is nothing more Than telecommunication Different voices yet the same conversation Broad interpretation leaves room for destructive ********** Shedding uniqueness for trendy consolidation **Who the **** do you think you are? a star?** You're no constellation You expel no illumination Your personality is a narrow cultivation of Seedy corporation, Media publication, And lack of moral stabilization Let me give you clarification Meditation is my detonation Put words in your mouth before you die of starvation We all have a fixation on giving into temptation Putting ourselves in situations were Passion is stimulation, Trust is manipulation and Love is *********** Pour out your heartache in perspiration After *********** we expect a standing ovation *** is nothing more than sensation* ....are we lost beyond the point of navigation?

When you are swept over by sorrow And your night is forlorn When your hours are reigning pain My compassion will be there. When everything is taken And your attachments are all broken And you've squandered your daily bank of seconds My compassion will be there. When rage and retaliation strike home Alienation, isolation sings loud When the thoughts are like a spinning whirling twisted train with the most perverse of engineers And the tracks lead to endless night My compassion will be there. When love has slipped through your fingers again And you're in the deepest hole you've ever known with only a shovel And your fingers can't grip And it can't be fixed without a ladder And there is no ladder anywhere My compassion will be there. Whether you're too young or too old Whether your world is Expanding  or contracting My compassion will be there. Countless life stories Many echoing rooms The human condition played out In infinite permutations When I have nothing else to say And nothing else to give As best I can My compassion will be there.

Compassion
Sharpeville, 21 March 1960 "The native mentality does not allow them to gather for a peaceful demonstration. For them to gather means violence." - Lieutenant Colonel Pienaar 1. We went with wrists ready For metal shackles To clench Their cold grip Onto fire hot skin Boiling with white rage; The appropriate rage. This situation has justification In the predications they hold true Where to some Human is synonymous with ******* nature, Dangerous and hungry for Light white blood we Must be caged To prevent the massacre We could create. 2. A child’s body is not a hurdle. But when fleeing, Feet pounding on dirt paths, Black with dark blood, leaking From shafts of taunting revolvers And throats of the permanently Silenced, What do you do but run? 5,000 bodies bound together, Melding flesh with flesh, Fusing unhinged bones to bones Still cradled in their skin, Line the street where Puddles are forming next to Concaved skulls emptied By misinformed bullets. Last thoughts and worries Are forever splattered on faces, Tracing red lines On skin Sooty black, As dark as nights will be. 3. Sixty-nine lay dead. A rock they said. When interrogations Took place A rock they said. Empty hands laid Palm in palm But a rock they said, This, they said, sparked The worry That made it right for them To make bullets fall Onto us like metal raindrops From an angry heaven Hungry for black skin And black blood. Hands digging into earth For retaliation, For blood they said, But everyone else said, The rock that flew Was in hands white as light As bright as the day was They say. If the rocks they said that, Spurned uniformed egos, Flew from ground, To air, To gunned men like they said, Does it justify the dead?

And it comes with some pain the the bullies from our childhood were a result of social Darwinism, at least in the sense of the state, where capitalism reigns and the most ruthless and powerful win all the freedom. Us cowards were too scared of violence to do anything about it. The teachers barred us from bullying, and with emotion they punished bullies, when they could be caught. Punish the bullies so they will develop the slavish obedience not to harm their peers, so in the future they will merely quietly compete up the ladder and sigh at the impossibility of their ladder extending past their bully bosses. If you want to have real freedom and fortune in this life, I hope you never stopped being a bullying child. I, like most children, bought the obedience and swallowed it like morning pills. In rows I sat, I pledged to red white and blue, and while the bullies slapped our heads, we kept our retaliation to unified grumbling, yet in a school there is no strength in numbers, besides the strength of harmonizing our slavish sighs. It’s just like at work under our bully bosses. The strength of the individual is denied in a school, so we can work like a cog, working hard at our shape to fit best into the machine. The bully notices the competition early on and acts hard, swift, and originally. For this is how wars are won. But us slaves have our way of converting the bully, we have numbers on our side, yet little strength. Out of weakness we tell the bully that they are an ill shaped cog, and they will never be able to help the machine if they keep their powerful aggression. Conversion to slaves may occur, or a half convert is created who is too deluded with their new illness, so they can do little physical harm to anyone anymore. And all without a drop of blood. We go to work secretly competing with each other, in order to buy the system’s validity at the end of the week. And we rip each other‘s teeth out in our dreams

Foucault's Expensive Forceps

As silence sets in your heart You are aware of the feelings And the mind becomes agile The calming effect of silence Will help to rearrange beliefs Silence is the subconscious Speaks louder than words It is built on a solid foundation Firm against sinister forces Silence is a bundle of energy It withstands barrage of baloney Unwavering support of silence Cocoons the soul in happiness Silence is retaliation Of the soul which is strong Only the strong can wield silence To make an emphatic statement Silence is not absence of action Words are a spent force When it holds no meaning Some, hiding behind its guile Douse the ominous intentions With silence as your defense Silence is deafening to a noisy world © Amitav (Radiance)

Creation
Hold on Hold on Hold on to the light inside before it's gone Hold on to the love you feel. Darkness is coming around the bend The plagues are moving in on the winds The wars are raging in retaliation’s name The sun is burning, shooting solar flares our way. Hold on Hold on Hold on to the wisdom of your mind Life is precious Comes and goes Time is an illusion That we all know Lovers, they also come and go Hold on Hold on Hold on to the light inside The mandalas in the faces of the flowers call your name. Against all odds Against the deranged machinations at the hands of the gods We’re mere humans Standing at the rim of the stars Staring out into space In this brief Time and place   Throwing sand at the waves To  protect the Sand castle walls we built, As children at the ocean. Hold on Hold on Hold on to the light inside Childhood joy and wonder Before it to comes and is gone. I weep these tears For the innocent sorrow of all mankind Who has always been so sick inside And never remembered to hold on Hold on Hold on To the momentary flickers of all those lights inside Hold on Hold on We all know what’s coming Darkness to each and every one. Let’s make this pact In this room We’ll hold on to the light inside Until the last candle is done And the last breath blows out the light And whispers lovingly “Good night.” Hold on
