We have thrown many hollow words at each
Other in fits of spite and calumny.
Hitting the mark has been very easy
For both of us. I sometimes try to leach
A fawned approval, and in secret reach
Out to shape you into what i truly
Wish existed. You, can with childish glee
Lie about anything, or deign to teach
Me of your rickety opinions as
If they were life's first law. But these course, bare
Faults that sting do not ensphere and compass
Our union, nor do we gasp unaware
Of just remorse, and blooms one clear thought that's
Held jointly,       perfect people live elsewhere.

the mind will perceive
till it doesn't anymore

Wet man walking in the clouds
In the Himalayas dripping nectar
Of the gods upon all equally
Monkeys and monks travel purposefully
To buddhahood
One compassionate moment at a time
Who arrives first?
The answer is nearer when
We see the question as
Irrelevant

Excuse me, but don't i know you?
I mean, really know you as i
         think you are, not as you are,
For that i do not know, you as you
         are i mean.
Only you know that you which is you
         as you are.
I know you as i have created you.
Which is different completely from
         who you are.
So this creation which i say is
         you, but isn't the real you,
         for only you know that, although
         you may never know you know.
         i really know this image of you
         because i am the cause of it,
         the image, which is you in
         my mind, i created the you
         i know, so you see, i really
         do know you, even though i
         have no idea who you really
         are.
So, why don't we get together sometime
        and talk?

food i travel and growl and
the world pads my feet

more i understand
anger more i understand
compassion the true

and the mind is true
miracle creator you

The time of his death was
unknown of course

Garl walked the perimeter sticks
wooden spear at the ready

Garl saw more than he thought
therefore the world of the cave walls

His dreams were to amazing
images of other worlds
so beautiful so strange

All were their dreams at night
but the samans put them on the walls

An act of great courage  due respect

In his dreams Garl saw himself
on the walls   at first with fear
later with desire

The samans were also hunters

The hunt was a strong image to have

Garl was out with the hunters
he saw the hunt    he saw his
image on the cave walls

He went forward to the mammoth

He is now seen on the cave wall
   by thousands

The time of his death is unknown
of course

Possession is nine-tenths of the fall to
Captivity of spirit. Many times
You've said those words to these selective ears
And i've heard nothing but your voice. Now, through
Some grating shift of cells, cause unknown, a
Newly perceived response enlightens some
Hitherto unlit portion of the dim
Pre-conscious realm. Which from here on casts a
Shadow interwoven with the many
Other shadows in the vast and blood warm
Ocean called the mind. And i see the harm
You speak of threatening, purely, clearly.
To hold is to close and occupy a sheaving
Of brain, which does empty its use for living.

Untended thoughts falter softly
