Come to my shore
Sitting here waiting
For beautiful poetry
Rejuvenating my feelings
Waves of talent
Never fails to mesmerize
From distant seas
Waves gather here
Carryin messages of hearts
Here I am
Waiting eagerly
Near the shore
To understand every word
Let the waves keep coming
For I shall wait
For more waves to come
To my shore
The sea of talents galore

Walking past the somber street
So many dilapidated houses
Once built with dreams and love
Family time and three meals a day
Strengthened the bonding more
Praying together to face life well
Confront the challenges of life
Once the garden filled with laughter
Reminiscent of the holidays
Rolling on the lawns and getting *****
Family time and bonding true
The houses have seen it all
Now only the memories are intact
Lonely residents living in retrospect
Only a passerby, the feelings wrapped me

Whisper to the winds
Breathe words in it
Enthuse the moment
Before it takes off
Through the winding path
Mountains, seas, woods
Valleys and deserts
Message will travel far
Beyond your vision
You will be heard
Your words shall speak
Stories of your heart
Beyond the realm
Your world is infinite
You words shall travel
With the wind

Always, is forever
Are we true *always?
For it’s not always
We keep our promises
Says the lover,
“I’ll be there for you, always.”
Not always living up to expectations
Does always have an expiry date?
Always means- unfailingly, infallibly, each time & every time
It seems almost always, it’s abused
Are we always, not strong enough?
Or, do we give in to circumstances, always?
For always seems to be the most misinterpreted
I keep pondering over it, always

A moment can be an eternity
Silent invitation from deep emotions
An alien language to express
The consciousness of eager souls
Beauty radiates from the aura

We are among the crowd
Individuals are invited to the party
Everyone cloaked in designer suits
Leaving their identity on the coat racks
In a way to be a part of the congregation
Glorifying the sameness in unique ways
Crowded loneliness have all met here
Everyone fades away in the sameness
Château Margaux and Cabernet Sauvignon
Flowing freely, to add to the occasion

A painting
Always on my mind
My thoughts
And imagination
Perfect,
With all the colors
Happy and glowing
Who painted it?
Or figment of my imagination
Maybe it does exist
Somewhere
In some art gallery
Or maybe lying in neglect
In some Art collector’s house
At the basement
Long forgotten
The Artist’s muse
Painted with love
Is the painting a note?
Trying to communicate
Her heart captured
Still beating
After all these years
Her feelings
Hidden under the layers of color
Why it comes in my dreams?
Was I the painter?
I may have forgotten my muse
But she still yearns for me
After all these centuries
Art is true
That lives for years

Obscure sounds
Reverberates
Flowing through
The silence
It’s an Enigma
Waking the
Sub-conscious
Beautiful sounds
Voices ethereal
Time seems to
Flow by you
You feel submerged
In the waves
Of each note

I walked out to run a small errand
Closed the door behind me
Took the street that leads to town
Greeting passersby with a smile
Walking along became easier
Strong aroma of coffee lingers
Leading me to the quaint bistro
Regular visitors and usual greetings
I take my leave to run my errand
On my way to town, spring in my steps

Nature welcomes you with an embrace
The wind playfully caresses you
And the crescent moon still visible
And the sun playing hide-n-seek
About to rise, coloring the flaming sky
In the amphitheater of celestial sphere
There is the drama unfolding of a new day
All the spectators, waking to the spectacular
Applauding, as a tribute to the grand illustration
Of abstract paintings, with a rich hue
Dawning on us whith a new plot to enact
The sunrise guiding us with a new ray of hope
Birds leading the way, helping us dream
To reach higher and cross new horizons
I am also a spectator in the crowd
Thronging to face life, as new day has dawned*

To usher the day with new found hopes
Without fail it keeps its tryst with humanity
Love dawns on our Life whenever we are in darkness
As Love finds us if we have hope in our heart
Always give Love a chance, as there is always a new day*

Words are irrelevant
Silence is the language
Try deciphering it
A powerhouse of information
No need to play with words
And get entangled
Words have interpretations of many
The language of silence is one-to-one
There is no language barrier
Become a global citizen and win many hearts
Just, if you can learn the language of silence
A heart to heart talk is in the offing, which stays forever…

The mind toiled with vengeful thoughts
Seeds of arrogance were planted in furrows
From where regressive thoughts grew
Watered by the seething flow of rage
Draining the soul of all the positive juices
Now left with a parched soul, full of cracks

The night has descended on Earth
Beauty of the darkness, enlightened by the full Moon
Inviting me to join the quiet revelry
As, Nature’s musicians are orchestrating the beauty
Through music, so ethereal, heard only in quietude
I step on to the Nature’s lush carpet; I am engulfed in ecstasy
Angels and Fairies mesmerizing with their beauty
My heart beat falls into the rhythm of the night
I pray to the Moon, let me drink your purity
Rid me of all the negativity and pain
Been thirsty for a while, shower me with your every drop
As I lay bare, I am elevated to a new realization
Night has never felt so inviting and tender
I pray the whole night, only to be absolved of all pain, suffering and negativity
To the Moon, the Fairies and Angels, I owe this new beginning

Create not barriers around you
So high, Love cannot transcend
And your Heart shrouded in gloom
Fortifying the mind, form its beauty
When Love comes seeking you
It will be spurned by the wall around you
Leaving you a prisoner in your world
Break away from the shackles
And let Love rule over your heart*

Every morning I am grateful
For granting me another day
Days of the past were a lesson
Teaching the art of perseverance
A grateful heart for what I have-
Love, gratitude and another spare day

Another day has gone, night’s descended
Lingering thoughts have ebbed
Waves have left the shores of worries
Deluging the castles of sand
Washing away the pensive remnants
Along with it dreams of vainness
Carrying me along with the saline waters
Filling my lungs to the brim
Choking on the brine and spilling out anguish
Clawing on every grain of sand for support
Freely flowing out of my hands
Nothing seems to stay, which I want to hold to
Not finding my sinking feet to gain a hold
The night sky offers ray of hope
Fallen and defeated, fate washed away
Night sky showers me with the stars
Blinking far away, yet blanketing me
Another day’s gone and night descended
Under the canopy of night sky
I find my abode, away from glaring daylight

I was a mere presence in your trail of thoughts
An apparition which appeared when you sought
Somewhere in the bustle I was a calm presence
When you changed your path and destination
I was relegated to the fading old memories
You started walking down a different path
Your thoughts trailed off to another destination

Another poem shall be birthed
from the deepest corners of heart
revisiting the conversations and moments
once they filled the days and nights
now lay silent, away from the world
although wide awake
some parts of the soul is in slumber
only left with the words once spoken
they shall come to torment
till the pen is wielded
and the ink shall sketch the dark world

The world that may exist
Yet to be explored
As we may not have imagined
What we have seen till now
The edges of covers
Maybe laying there, at some corner
Where we may not have reached
Or, it’s too close to us
Where our eyes do not see
Busy with our daily chores
Daily duties seeks our attention
We have woven our reality
Minds do not want to believe otherwise
The secret maybe in the bird’s calls
Or the animals behavior
Or in the nature’s upheaval
Are we listening carefully
Is it a figment of one’s imagination
Where does it germinate
If seeds were not planted
Somewhere in the distant past
Of what we have known till now
If it comes to a nought
From where we have started
Are we ready for a different world
Or, it’s preposterous to think otherwise

In the photograph
Of the yesteryear
Time stands still
Within the frames
Beauty never fades
Reliving the past
Reminiscing it
With past memories
Without any words
Poetry is captured
Still feeling the heartbeat
And smiles that speak
A fascinating journey
Through the picture
Face to face
With the past

The lucid pond
Clear reflection of yourself
Leaf falls and creates a ripple

I pray to thee from the altar near eternity
Let me be a disciple at the shrine
Knowledge which eludes the whole world
From here there is no turning back
All the truth resides here  
Now that everything loses relevance
Beyond the grip of time and seasons
No fear of losing and gaining
Only to acquire the knowledge of eternal truth
Here, I shall plunge into the entirety of Universe

The night’s silence invaded by rains
Cutting through the darkness
Dingy streets exposed by the lightning
Howling ferociously, with vengeance
Street dwellers soaked to the spirits
Helpless against the outburst of nature
Scurrying to salvage their meager belongings
Cold and wet streets offer them little solace
The old library portico offers some respite
Nefarious activities are deluged
Tonight no one is on the prowl, no prize catch
Although cold outside, it’s been a sleepless night
So many memories rain down my thought crucible
Filling it to the brim, I feel drowning in them
So many emotions raining down on me
A shiver runs down my spine, cold eeriness
Stormy night stirred up my past
My silent present invaded on a rainy night

The river of consciousness
Flows tranquil, in me
From the mind it starts the journey
Navigating everyday obstacles
Washing away everyday doubts
Keeping the heart replenished
Along the course of the soul
Enhancing all the senses
Awareness knows no bounds
Beyond the realm of seen
At the end of the day
When I am tired
Of the routine
I dive into the river of consciousness
Washing away the today
To start a new day
With new questions
To search for new answers
Every day I am empty
Ready to drink
From the river of consciousness
New realization
Of greater prospects
New consciousness
Emanates from the core
No limitations
In the source of consciousness

The deepest of rivers
Flowed calmly throughout the years
Unaware of its undercurrent

It’s been a thousand years,
Of solitude, with many tears;
Oft recurring the moments,
This has the mind in torments;
Peeping through the veil of time,
Spoken words are rare, just mime;
The splinters from the fire of passion,
Has burnt down the taffeta in ugly fashion;
Two souls smeared with the exuberance,
Yet there is some element of cumbrance;
Unable to delve deeper unto each other,
An uneasiness which causes a bother;
Wailing in despair and still holding on,
Also, trying to kindle a fire with the magic potion.
The scratches on the skins seems to heal,
Still the lovers are apart, because of a sinister deal;
Yet, the passionate souls resurrect after thousand years.
As both the souls of the lovers unite, to ward off the fears;
Unite will they and no might can keep them apart,
With all might the lovers fight, and force the enemies to depart;
An after a thousand years, the lovers unite one more time.
Healed by the power of passionate love and again in their prime.

The beauty sleeps
In to the silent night
Secret desires and dreams
And the faint smile
Next to her, the sleepless lover
Waiting to invade her dreams*

Misguided fire of passion
Burns one’s own abode
Even the tears of remorse
Can’t douse the raging inferno

Your smile is the poetry
I was never able to write
For it never had words
An honest expression of your soul
Unmatched radiance across your face
Poetry which is most eloquent
Recited from your heart to mine

Snail glides across
Peeking out of its lonely abode
Solitary, and travels alone
Shying away at the faintest touch
Retreating in the abode
How far it may have wandered
Finds the quiet haven miles away

When the world retires
the whisper of the night sings
a sweet lullaby to the weary soul
now, weaving a web of magic
spellbound by the night’s symphony
as night descends on me

The song of the night
Is elegant beyond words
Hummed by the solitary soul
