Silent Mountain erupts
years of inner turmoil spewing fire
creating widespread havoc

Muffled voices
Trying to communicate
The deepest secrets
Eyes engrossed
Soul’s clarity
Reflects true love
Echo of feelings
Sounds like a jingle
Warm embrace
Enraptures the moment
Muffled voices
Speak out in love

Surrender to the silence
To see through the mystic eye
Vision the path ahead
To be in communion with soul
The bliss is absolute

Mystic air
Whispers a secret
Heart’s content
After the message
Special heart
Common rhythm
Tugs at the soul
To embrace
The world
Protect the beauty
Eternally yours

Noticeable nonchalance
Nefarious negotiations
Nervous neighborhood
Naïve natives nonplussed
Nihilistic network nabbed

Trees are being felled
the mountain bereft of the rich green cover
crumbles in shame.

Once the land that was lush green
Has turned into an arid land
Stripping the vast landscape everyday
Taking the covers off
Leaving bare the heart of serenity
Brooks and rivers running dry
Leaving trails of devastation
Trees ripped off from the roots
A part of land dies everyday
Not a drop of tear to shed
The agony of barrenness
Stares through the cracked soul
Lost days of glory
Now ashamed of its shadow
No one can feel the agony
Only to be left alone, in oblivion

Nature is resplendent
Her each and every contour
Glistening with the morning light
And by the moonlight it becomes sensual
Evoking an aura of love in our heart
As if an angel with the perfect beauty
With the changing moods as seasons
Her love encompasses all of humanity
As love requires a heart which can hold multitudes
For she is our guiding angel
And I have learnt to love from Nature

Nature cocooned in dewdrops
Glimpses of its radiant beauty
Silently perched on a leaf

Turning a blind eye to the dark clouds
Looming over the horizon
Lightning lashing across like whip
Loud crackle and the thunderous roar
Lightning strikes with archer’s precision
Hitting the target with a vengeance
Cauterizing life in a matter of seconds
Zeus, unleashing the thunderbolt
So much rage in the Ether
Punishing relentlessly with nature’s fury
Now the clouds break loose
Intense darkness shrouds over the day
Clouds have opened up with running streams
As it washes away all the agony
It opens the eyes to an invigorating event
Replenishing the parched Earth
Waterfalls and rivers flows with life
Nature calms after the ferocity, bringing hope

Peaks crowned with heavy mists
An aura of mystical beauty
Adorned with new green cloak
Conceals the perilous terrains
An excursion for the dare-devils
Lay their claim on the emerald beauty
Fresh streams cascading in between
Slithering downhill in serpentine surge
Entwining the emerald with diamond lace
A sight to behold, the nature’s treasure
The priceless beauty for us to marvel

Music is inspired from Nature
If you listen carefully
Attuned to nature and in harmony
There is music in the rains
The flowing creeks and rivers
All the birds’ chirping
Even the thunderstorms have music
The swish of the wind and sway of leaves
The droplets of dew falling
A resonance in drone of bees
And the animal’s mating signals
The cry of a newborn mammal
And the call of the dolphins
The sea waves and the sound waves
Even the tectonic shifts have music
All the acoustics are there in nature
Even the trees have a language of their own
To communicate through the winds
The whole ecosystem is filled with music
The universe and the planets send out signals
At regular intervals, which we may not hear
If you want to hear unadulterated music
Come closer to nature, and keep your ears open
The musicians are all around us to regale us
So, just be at peace and try to enjoy the music
For the party has not yet begun
As, we are not yet aware of Nature’s music

The wind’s rendezvous with the trees
Playfully kissing the leaves from slumber
Even the sun comes to join the play
Weaving its rays through the dewdrops
Drops of gold hanging from the leafy cradle
Wind as a messenger, passing on the messages
Even the animal kingdom has started to play
Caressing up the trees, the young ones at play
Camaraderie among the disciples on nature
Rich exchange of inter-nature musings
Skies have descended to pay heed
And pass on the messages to the intergalactic spaces
Integral part of the universe, carpeting this celestial body
The wind’s rendezvous with the trees
As the sun goes higher, its rays cuts across the thick foliage
Giving a ray of hope to the weeds and climbers
Babies of the animal kingdom, become playful
Oblivious of the surrounding and its grandeur
Nature’s stories are never-ending
It never fails to astonish the humankind
For we have lost the art of simple and careless talk
Losing touch with each other
Nature keeps the communication open
And there is a rendezvous every day, to discuss the nitty-gritties
Wind is the messenger among Nature and its being

Let’s go and bathe in the moonlight shower
Which will cleanse our soul of all the dirt
Unclad, with nothing to hide from each other
Enveloping our form with the glistening stars
I can see the sparkle of happiness in your eye
As we submerge in nature’s Jacuzzi
Softly massaging and reviving our feelings
Becoming aware of each other’s presence
The celestial showers drenching us
With the milk oozing from the moon, so pure
The agonizing wait is over
Our silhouettes are walking towards the woods
As we are the vines, which grew apart
Now, it’s time for us again to embrace
Entwined more closely now
As we are now rejuvenated by the celestial shower

The eccentricities of nature
Leaving us at its mercy
Sun and rain are taking turns
To play with us, caught unaware
Mood swings of nature
Blatantly leaving us perplexed
Sometimes raging with fury
Or its calming nature acts as a balm
Another moment tornadoes
Ripping across the hearts of habitats
Leaving us bare and unsheltered
Earthquakes depriving the ground beneath
Leaving us with open chasms of darkness
Erupting volcanoes, burning away
Glowing rivers of lava, taking its own course
Not showing any mercy, drowning dreams
Icy cold glaciers melting away the past
To drown away the future of our existence
And the vast seas encroaching shorelines
So many vignettes of nature
We can only be mere spectators
To the eccentricities of nature

You may feel, your voice gets lost
In this vast universe, amidst space
The wind, the trees, the birds, and animals
Are, all listening to you patiently
The mountains, seas, rivers and creeks
Along with the wind, takes your thoughts
To the most remotest and distant places
The sun mitigates the pain with its brightness
Rains are your companion, when your heart weeps
Winters are there when your emotions are frozen
But, the snow preserving the ‘real you’ intact
Spring is the harbinger of hope, and flower blooms
In the garden of your life, coloring your hope
The canopy of stars light up at your success and love
The moon serenades the lovers, caressing them with love
So, your voice may not be heard by us
Every word you speak, becomes a part of nature’s folklore
Testimony to all the events in your life; happiness, sorrow
And in times of neutrality, you are covered in a time wrap
The feeling of loneliness, is momentary
When you absorb nature in you, and nature absorbs you

Nature has engulfed the Earth with Love
The roots firmly entrenched on terra firma
Sometimes nature’s fury uproots it all
Bringing with it, devastation galore
Yet, nature heals over time, lush green with life
Kissed with Life, by the eternal rays of the Sun
Water nurtures with the juice of Love
Breathing Life onto this planet
For Nature is Life, and we keep on strangling it
As Nature’s comeuppance may uproot us all
Our fate firmly bound to Nature; do we have a choice at all?*

Would nectar be as sweet, if bees did not adore it?
From miles away it’s intoxicating smell, alluring them
Waiting to be ******, as the flower can’t bear the load
One drop contains all the sweetness of nature
Immortalized as the elixir of life, since time immemorial
If it was not for the bees, we would have been deprived
Of that drop of sweetness, that can match the lover’s delight
Making this world a sweeter place, dripping from flowers
Honey, here I come with the magic potion
Enjoying every drop of it, as we adore it, as much as the bees*

Recoiled in one’s own world
The pusillanimous heart beats faintly
Holding onto the last thread of hope
Among the threadbare fabric of neglect

My old self keep dying everyday
To keep tryst with new beginning
Young heart beating with vigor
Every vein filled with brimming hope
Charting new territories
Being better than my old persona
Inception of fresh perspective
Every cosmic particle in me enthused
After fresh lease of life

After the twilight paves way for night
The grim uncertainties raise their tentacles
Waiting to grasp the oblivious heart
Unaware, the soul molds into the dark caverns
Causing agony to the unattended
The hand of the messiah can’t reach
To pull out of the rut, the soul so mangled
Yet, the dawn brings fresh hope the next day
Day full of sunshine illuminates the deepest caverns
Giving hope to even the most troubled souls
Redemption comes with the light kindled in heart

Today I welcome the day
with the things I did not have yesterday
a brand new day ushers new hope
to believe in myself to bring a change

We are greeted by a bright new day
Love, dreams and happiness are here to stay
With this pledge in our heart and determination
Let’s start the new day and erase all aberration

As all the emotions overflowed
Silence filled the empty soul
Warmth of the early dawn
Swathes my courtyard with hope

Take off the night’s cover
Welcome the first rays
Feel the harmonious waves
Soft melody of the Earth
Pleasant notes hits the ears
Wait for the drapes to go up
View the world in new light
It’s time for dreams to take off
Meditate on the possibilities

The night gives way to dawn
A brand new day awaits us
Wonder, if night and dawn have a pact
An understanding between the opposites
Establishing the existence of contradictions
Never interfering with each other’s schedule
The diurnal is the amalgamation of both, night and day
If the night does not give way to dawn, the ‘Day’ is incomplete*

Days are never cognizant of them
Weary night gives way to new day

The constellation of the night sky
Dotted with Asterism
Calling our attention to the mystical lights
Plotting an image on our minds
The celestial space is where minds wander*

Blow out the candle when the mind is enlightened

The life of a ‘nobody’, among everybody
As the whole world passes by without acknowledging
Lone warrior is a ‘nobody’
With the grit and determination to take on everybody
Alone but not lonely is ‘nobody’, lone warrior standing
At the gates of the kingdom of Silence
Only ‘nobody’ keeps a sane mind among the cacophony
Of all the hollow words said by everybody
This world belongs to ‘nobody’, we are just passers by

The nomadic mind knows no bounds
Oft it prepares to visit many places
Roaming the distant territories
The verdant valleys and the deserts
Drinking from the fresh flowing streams
Also, walking with the camels
Looking for the oasis, left with mirage
Retreating after a hectic day
Under the blue canopy and bright stars
Another journey towards the mountains
An itinerary of the nomadic mind
Yearns for more wandering adventures
Stopping at the intersections of ideas
Where meeting of the vagabond minds
Away from the permanent settlers
Living amongst nature, the nomadic mind
