one that was timeless and simple with

the trees glisten with the heaven's tears of joy as the sun peeks shyly over the hills. a new day has dawned in the valley of the fleur as they stretch their water-heavy petals towards warmth

Some say that the prettiest flowers bloom in the
light of day.
But I would dare to argue,
for I have seen many a moonflower surpass them in beauty
by being rooted in the dark.

they say that love is the
greatest thing you could ever possess
and i guess that's true
because even now
seeing you with her
i have it all but i'll never have you

I guess you could say we're close, Depression and I.
We used to be exclusive,
And I never shared him with anyone.

We were best friends,
We saw each other every day
For four very long
Years.

But then,
Gradually,
I saw him begin to slowly
Slip away.

I saw him less and
Less often.
Is it bad that I
Never missed him when he left?

Things were good,
We made new friends
And saw other
People.

But lately, I've
Begun to see him again.
He stops by almost
Every other day.

"What are you doing here?"
I whisper to him
As I look around at
My life without him.

It slowly turns to
Grey and seems
To whither
Away.

"I just stopped by for a visit,"
He replies, looking around
And taking my hand,
*"But I guess I'm here to stay."

I walk along a path of stars
that stretches across the heavens.

I dance across the constellations
the universe they do leaven.

The galaxies, they sing their songs
that echo on forever

and every planet, one by one,
shall join in their endeavour.

It's funny how we let
The people closest to us
Hurt us the most.

People who once
Meant the world to us
Have now drifted away.

C'est la vie.

Waiting for you is divine intervention.  

Like waiting for the world to turn.
Like waiting for a comet to return.
Like waiting for a star to be born.
Like waiting for the planets to align.

But I know that, eventually, you'll be here.
And that's what keeps waiting.
