"deciphered" poems
*Absorb the silence around Know the silence and it messages Connect with the inner self At rest is the soul and mind Moments that reveals the truth Silence douses the flames of uncertainty Rendezvous with silence As silence is there to be deciphered*

In Silence...
Eyes on the clock Tick toc tick toc Sipping a cup of coffee Darker than the sky Rain sliding down the windows Pitter patter pitter patter Watching people come in and out Sitting at the table "Order up! Two Vanilla Blonde Roast Coffee's!" Yelled a man, But all I could hear was the music Chiming around the room And bouncing off the walls Multiple conversations I sat there In that room Writing stories And Tales Like no other had done Such where the hero was the villain Stories that could only be deciphered By those who have felt the pain Of the lonesome characters That these stories depicted

-a mind is well deciphered in silence as same as fingers decipher wetness of a **** - how silently, silence enters my mind as same as his hand enters a wet ***** covering a pulsating **** -

****** truth
Seek solace in solitude There’s a world of silence Mirrors the inner beauty A reflective mind ponders Enwrapped in the echoes The mantra of eternal truth Soul elevated to a stage Sweet harmony of realization Hymns of pure ecstasy Pours through the ears as honey Sweetening the existence Shimmering light is kindled An unusual radiance enthralls Meanings of life deciphered Gifted with moments of bliss

Solace in Solitude
when you hear my words when you decipher their intention i wonder what tools you use i wonder what you will make of me i hope your eyes see through the same lens i hope your soul breeds like mine that my intentions would scare you that my intentions, in that way, hurt me worried that my expression are never really mine worried that once outwardly deciphered they become inwardly lost though our language is the same our definitions never are though my hopes remain the same your intentions never change

Communication
Unrhymed, unrhythmical, the chatter goes: Yet no one hears his own remarks as prose. Beneath each topic tunelessly discussed The ground-bass is reciprocal mistrust. The names in fashion shuttling to and fro Yield, when deciphered, messages of woe. You cannot read me like an open book. I'm more myself than you will ever look. Will no one listen to my little song? Perhaps I shan't be with you very long. A howl for recognition, shrill with fear, Shakes the jam-packed apartment, but each ear Is listening to its hearing, so none hear.

At the Party
Neither in the vividness of the arches of a cathedral, Nor in the dangling bells and echoing rituals of a temple, Neither on the holiest banks of Nile or Ganges, Nor among the peaks of the grandest Mountain, There is no augury, there is no God, is there no God? And if there is, Why are the eyes of lives haunted by the cruel dreams of disbelief? Why is banishment tangled around the feet of a truth seeker? Why the perverse thoughts and deeds ruling the Mankind? Why the pious body and mind are today full of grief? If there’s God, Why is this sea of cold blood on a high tide? If there’s God, Why are the innocent lives being wasted? If there’s God, Why are the good being handcuffed? If there’s God, Why the darkness is today the source of light? The slaps of violence on the face of peace is a sign of doom, If there’s no God, then these drops of bloods cry for whom? But GOD is that moment which is beyond knowledge and wit, That one cipher which has taken centuries and yet not deciphered, That one point of thought where the minds seize to think, That one decision which stops a man from giving up, That one drop of tear from the eyes of an Oppressed, That one source of energy which makes us to take a stand, That one voice of truth which demolishes the works of lie, That one smile of innocence which equals a million shouts, That one silver lining which makes us believe in ourselves, Calls Aloud and makes us believe, that there is A GOD, And He’s Everywhere, With everyone, and Will always be.

The truth is, I’m not really sure who I am. She told us to draw ourselves and then to draw our souls; so I drew my face scratched and uneven, just as I’ve always seen it, and frowned at the result both in the mirror and on the paper. The only soul I’ve ever really known was the one that shone through the strokes of the keys I punched, the scrawling of ink on paper in mismatched arrays of awkward thoughts, disorientated and unorganized, shaded different spews of emotion and rearranged through the lens of ever last viewer’s eye. Even so, this soul that is composed of words that defined me painted a picture vivid in its contrast, though blurry from both afar and close enough to squint, no details able to be made out. These words that have wrapped around my soul rubbed raw from the time my skin first flinched at the cool March air cannot be deciphered by their author, though I know somehow that their letters flowing into one another say more than any curve of my face ever could. These words are black and white, two extremes crafted in the pallet of the Universe’s toolshed, and perhaps that’s exactly what I am. Black or white. I’m dark and lost and scrounging for some rusting wall or tree branch to cling to as to ensure the shimmering waves, onyx and charcoal in their nature with the flow of blood in its spine, do not flood into my mouth at a rate in which is too quick to balance myself upon them, or, I’m white, drifting snow from a cloud scraping the vast expanse of brilliant blue gazing as a sky above all the world, pure, innocent, unscathed with the potential for creation in vibrancies yet unknown, or to be ripped to bits, scattered amongst piles of cream and autumn leaves drained of their color beneath months of shivering frost. And so, perhaps any physical representation of my being would be all wrong, because that’s not what I am. Myself, my soul, it resides in the murky depths of heights I’ve yet to discover, tethered endlessly and uncertain among the caverns of my inners, pink and mushy, stirred and ****** untouched from the harsh light of a world encased in brevity.

I'll Glue This To The Drawing Of My Face

Connect with Words
Simplicity is so simple that our mind are not well informed in it's simple formation. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. In it there are complexities and it's quite interwoven. Beautiful in its form. It shows us the beauty of creation telling its own stories with peculiar history. Nature is so deep and captivatingly beautiful. Intriguing in its own way and profoundly awesome. It's amazing how much of it we really know. Its so confounding how many people really comprehends the principle back of it. In simplicity nature speaks. Spirals of things visible are so complex that it's configuration and formulas are of simple nature, only to be deciphered by a simple mind. The mind of man is sophisticated and complex but simple. It's rhythm pulsates within the intricate formation of the spirit behind it making it one of the most simple but not so understood things of nature. Like a jigsaw puzzle it's sophisticated complexity is made simple by a sound mind. The mind has to be disciplined to decode it's hidden ciphers. ©2018,Emeka Mokeme. All Rights Reserved.

I found a puzzle piece on the floor. I cherished it. I spent time with it. We biked through the streets, and even cuddled under the sheets. I found more puzzle pieces on the floor. I picked them up. But I knew I had to stop. I had a special piece, the first. You just happened to satisfy my thirst. These puzzle pieces I found once on the floor; I was wrong. They were a lyrics to a song. I set you down for a little while, and deciphered the puzzle with a smile. I found a lot more pieces on the floor. Telling the story. Relieving my worry. But there was something I did forget, that first piece I was able to get. The puzzle pieces joined together on the floor. Making an image. Erasing the damage. And when it was about to be complete, a piece seemed to be missing, even under my feet. My puzzle pieces lie on the floor. Never a picture. It was nothing but a rapture. For the piece that started it all, was in a place where I could not crawl.

Encrypted lies whispered, kisses blown. Two strangers fall in love. Encrypted lies deciphered encoded as the truth. The norm of hearts in denial. Encrypted lies wrapped in rose petals reeking of punctured promises. Encrypted lies discovered extinguishing the flame, fingers pointed. Who is to blame? Encrypted lies forgotten but love not. Heartbreak is an easy price to pay than to fall for false pretence.

Encrypted Lies
She is a Goddess held upright In the light. Her face shines blossoming among the clouds. The words she speaks are of lyrical proportion. Her body is a temple of sheer devotion, One whom I worship. Yearning to protect. She shines her light upon me, Revealing the inner working of her mind. The hieroglyphics and pamphlets deciphered by gentle lips. Shes not just another girl nor another woman. Her crown is woven above her brow, easily mistaken as hair. Her influence knows no bound. Devouring every inch of my thought. Her voice is infinite, Her soul dances as a child knowing the beauty of outside. She is a Goddess of love, one of infinite wisdom. Her sighs are one with the wind. Spreading throughout the whispers of her voice. Filling my dreams with the lucidity of open eyes. I close my eyes and see her standing there. I smile, picturing her soul dance as freely as a child knowing the beauty of being outside. If only she knew what I saw everytime I looked at her

Nubian Goddess
Softly, she ventured into the violent night of May,
Where pitch-black winter soaked her bones.
The sea, full of teeth, bit and insisted as she stood there, unmoving.
It was full of music and empty promises; she let the vastness of the agonizing waves drown her rotting body. The sharp smell of air reeked of bitter billet-doux.
It had been her three hundred sixty-five attempts to be silent; barefoot, she waited and waited and waited. Under the moonlight, she appeared as a ghastly ghost.
For a moment, she wondered, “Only the wicked remember the sea’s harshness and stay”—a woman personified as storm, mirroring her rage. She is a twisted soul; death sighs at the sight of her.
The moon exhausted its entire being. “She is full of herself,” he whispered into the dark, corrupted sea.
She imprinted the sands with her unnerving gravity—she walked, and walked, and walked, Haunted by her visions and dreams, terrorizing the melancholic earth. Months passed—it was now September.
She’s restless; all she could do was remember.
She kept bathing in the black sea, passionately driving herself to madness.
She kept being pulled and pulled and pulled,
Until survival was no longer an option—her hair slowly being grappled into the lake of fire. Her last remaining thoughts were of long-forgotten, enchanting, sweet eyes of his.
She dreamed of him—those big, witchery eyes of his.
She remembered, and so the sea deciphered her yearning and pulled her in.

Here lies my dog, motionless in his kennel unable to wag his tail as he always did. Yesterday when I saw him, curling helpless on his mat he still wagged his tail and from him arose a faint tremolo of love punctuated by gutturals of pain. At some bleak hour of the night, the last ember of life died down and his supple body turned stiff and stark. Now he lies straight and majestic in death leaving a track record of love far difficult to break, - a love no vessel can hold or equated with what we humans feel. Speechless as I stand, memories churn within. He came to us - too young to be weaned, a glossy black puppy with tawny gleaming eyes. His short, sturdy limbs, large drooping ears, slender waist and elongated frame well proclaimed his pedigree aloud So full of mischief, he capered and hopped, like a new born calf, always up on his heels. Sniffing with moist nose, he dug and dug as if unearthing a treasure trove buried deep beneath the soil. With alert vigil, he guarded our home, barking at strangers and driving rodents away He expected nothing in turn but love. His loyalty as we deem was never servile. Never was he on chains to be hauled like cattle. He enjoyed sauntering through the courtyard giving company as we took our evening rounds. He gloated rubbing his body over our knee and sat content as our stroking fingers ran all around Licking our feet and arms, what he conveyed in inarticulate words could be deciphered thus - ‘I love you, love you true’ Like the bouncing ball, he often played with our hearts made to bounce up in love and our hands fold in benison for a comrade who departs, valiant in life and loyal to the core hoping to meet him anon on the far green meadows of bliss, still wagging his tail, avowing a bond too strong to be snapped or splintered.

An original creation, that's what  you are in vibrant colors nature carefully assembled, as you sashayed through your time, till here now all across the front page one can see you arousing  pleasure that moves me deeply, done in bold sweeps of a brush immersed in joy making onlookers stand agape, thrilled mumbling inanities as none has the grasp of the quicksilver aesthetics that rules you. And I, obscure , at the best like a crop circle done in the secret hours after midnight, or a cryptic mural on a dull wall, long past it's prime doodled by an interplanetary traveler gone astray, a drawing in grey fading slowly in to oblivion, yet to be deciphered is the benediction, it carries from light years far away, it will be gone soon as the light from galaxies far want to make it their own, little by little each night Am I not transient  and  to be forgotten soon? But you are steadfast and adamant very rooted in your reasoning sprung from a center devine, we both claim together.                          "Am I not a woman and lover first?" Your eyes, gleam, exuding  a timelessness that speaks to me. "I would only dream of lying naked under your sweet heaving heaviness, to receive the nectar, the transient ecstasy that gifts me the precious seed that'd grow to heights immortal,on the bank of the milky way"

Bound together to plant a tree eternal on the banks of the milky way
**This poem can be heard as a Spoken word (read by me) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= IoAeA6nYH5A** There are some who fool around With human DNA They say it's a progessive step For the world today. The deciphered human genome Is a plaything in their hands Just a toy to then employ And change the state of man. "Change your child's DNA! He's strong as a horse! He can be, and he can see Like a hawk, of course!" Just like in the movies They've conditioned us for that. Vampires and werewolves And woman morphed to cat! We can all be cyborgs! Robotic legs and things! We can be like Batman But with automated wings! Let's just look at Genesis Look at chapter 6 Those beast/man Nephilim Did actually exist! The Watchers came and mated With human women fair The Sons of God were demons, So we'd best have a care! God had to drown the demon-spawn To save the human race The waters flooded over them And there was not a trace. Now God found Noah perfect For he had a pure bloodline There was in him no change From God's original design. Now, folks, what will happen When human beings aspire To be like animals yet again? This time there'll be FIRE!!! What about our tender hearts? Do they matter anymore? The world's consumed with evil You'd best know what's in store. When we're no longer human But have a cyborg mind Will mankind ever be the same? Godly? Loving? KIND? Humans enslaved for weakness Do you find that odd? We will be a "Super Race" Usurp the Will of God. Will there be salvation? Or will it be too late? When men go and take the role Of the God they hate? Be glad that God loves us! For we were made like Him. He wants to take us from this place! He wants us to WIN!!! Is this all science fiction? Watch the news! It's PLANNED! Babies being altered To unnatural lifespans! Because of overweening pride We mess with things divine Enter human suffering - EXIT HUMANKIND.

I throw my words to the compost heap with the rinds of so many others. The poetry that has been deciphered til there is no surprise left. I ***** them in to incubate and fertilize the fields of my heart. Then I shall glean them to harvest the poems of my Soul.

Love this Life
we met in Mexico, slept rough in the back; the seats folded down levelled out and tacked down with two springs we went by cities not knowing their names; stopped at payphone kiosks shamed our pasts with left messages on answering machines we stopped at toll booths, paid for more road to play on, to drive over smooth, to cross another border before the noon we deciphered restaurant menus, ate with fingers crossed and hoped the chicken was just that, left a tip lost in another used ash tray we wore sun cream to screen us against the rays and the glare reflecting off the mineral water, natural bays we walked up to bars asked for drinks in cold bottles, sipped and supped until kisses rolled out, left holding hands like mannequin models we kept the trip a secret, kept it secure between you and me and the folds in the bed sheets, we only exist in hotel cheap suites.

We Met In Mexico
Show me that you're an animal Make me cry Your eyes glow in the night You run through the jungle with your pride on your sleeve. Isn't life too sweet? Their king has risen and there's a lump in my throat. Will you cry when I read out the poems I have written? You're manuscripts waiting to be deciphered, lanterns waiting to be lit, a storm ready to start, With you, I am the happiest I have ever been. You're an animal ready to ****
