As if no one cares
So many things happening around
Not a cause of concern
Till the time they are affected

All around there is stillness
But the mind is racing ahead
Flashing visits of memories
Zooming across my eyes
Stillness can’t put my mid to rest

The songs we sing
Composed in nature’s tune
Don’t ruin it!

Visit to the land of antiquity
Kept alive through words
Best describes the tales
Which were narrated once
Reading them
And transported there
Fascinated by legends
Ageless and frozen in time
A fascinating word museum
Takes us back to antiquity

You have the chisel in hand
And the master sculpture
Chisel away the unnecessary
To sculpt a masterpiece
Heart shines
Through the beautiful facets

Idea ignited incredible ideology
Introduced informally interested innumerable
Idiosyncratic individuals, isolated, ignoring ideology

Muffled voices
Trying to communicate
The deepest secrets
Eyes engrossed
Soul’s clarity
Reflects true love
Echo of feelings
Sounds like a jingle
Warm embrace
Enraptures the moment
Muffled voices
Speak out in love

The multitude is flowing ahead
Teeming with dreams and hope
Crammed, with little place to move
There is dearth of space in the mind
Physically, we are reaching fatigue
What do we have for choice?
The power to choose is taken away
Our choices influenced by publicity
Duplicating a parallel world of feel good
Yet, deep down we are queasy
Something is not right, not identifiable
Blinded by the dazzles of show- biz
As if, all the actors are being directed
Chosen to play a role, not ours to choose
Memorizing written scripts, to deliver
Speeches which are not ours, we feel
Our dreams invaded, and manipulated
Our originality, suppressed in the makeup
Masquerading, our inner thoughts and ideas
Repeating the same role everyday
Delivering the scripted dialogues
Keeping in mind that we are here for audience
Our originality and individuality torn apart
Our original script has gone down the shredder
Who has the energy to pick up the pieces?
To join, the strewn dreams and live in a new way
We are just a created avatar, directed, indirectly
Of what we love, wear, eat, and live our life
Swept away by the waves of multitude
Individuality is relegated to the dark confines
Where can we start searching, our real counterpart?

Lose yourself in the embrace of Love
Realize the pure essence, and Feel
All your senses are in congruence
There is no ‘why’ or how’, but only Love
Love represents purity of heart

I roam around the streets, thirsty
Looking for the eternal fountain of love
The search leads me to your doorstep
Quench my thirst, as I am parched
Cracks have appeared in the barren body
Lead me to the eternal fountain
There is never dearth of water here
Even when the whole world is dry
Uprooted, I have come to be placed in your courtyard
As I will be always sure to be nourished by the eternal fountain

Clouds give us respite from the harsh sun
Glaring rays obfuscated by the black screen
Rains quelling the rising heat of the Earth
Soil is replenished to sow a new harvest

The moonlight traveler
Walks by the night
Along the silver path
Paved by the brightest stars
To meet his moonlight lover
Greeting her with night-flowers
Back from the moon
Reflecting the sliver light on her
Love glistening with pride
Along the silver path
Hearts glowed with love

Water mirrors the inner feelings
Travels a tranquil path between woods
Ablution of regrets and negativity
Carrying away with it the heavy feelings
Replenishes the dehydrated soul
A leaf falls on the water, carrying my message

Set the paint brushes on fire
Brush your feelings on paper
To paint the most beautiful picture
With the exclusive hues
Every word immersed in love
Colors of the soul and pure emotions
Sweeping across the paper

Words just lay scattered for long
Strewn all over the mind in pieces
Unable to gather from the corners
In the darkness, they lost relevance
Scattered thoughts waiting to regroup
But the mind had wandered elsewhere
The room locked away and forgotten
Where once the heart and soul resided
Looking for happiness elsewhere
A chance incident was a commotion
And once again looking for safe haven
Standing in front of the locked room
To gather the lost pieces of words
Depraved of attention, they lost weight
Not fed with the feelings and emotion
But once again it was time to gather
The strewn away pieces, neglected
And it was time to align them
With the ink that bled within
The pen was waiting for this moment

Hello!
Does the inner voice respond?
Not paid much attention to…
Drowned among the noisy environs
Trampled, when it tried to speak
Did you say a hello lately?
Or, aware, it exists…
Give it a chance to speak
And listen to what it has to say
Say a ‘hello’ when you get some time…
Maybe it’s worth a listen

Soar higher and think beyond the skies
Searching for the unknown
May land you in familiar territory
Keep the wings aligned with the wind
Nature’s guide will take you along its path
The worldly binds chains us to the ground
Clipping our wings, not allowing us to fly
Heavy as lead, we drown in sea of expectations
Completely drenched, the body soaked to the bones
Lying there along the sidelines, waiting for the sunshine
To dry the body and soul of all the limitations
Gaining consciousness and power from the Sun
Looking beyond the sky, the unknown looks familiar
Sometimes unchartered path is more inviting
To a traveler like us, helping us to reach our destination

Wake up from the slumber
Let yourself free
The imaginations run free
As they take you to places
You always wanted to visit
The land of happiness and freedom
Where you roam around
Feeling light and carefree
No anchors and chains
To hold you down
Wings of dreams help you fly
Over the mountains, valleys and oceans
And breathe the fresh air
Not the claustrophobic smoke
Which chokes you
Let this be a mantra, “I am free”
No one whatsoever
Can tie us down
Or cage our dreams and feelings
Be a braveheart
Hold hands of those who are confined
To take them with you
Let them smell the free air
And see the free world
Dream with eyes open
Bewildered by the beauty around
Let’s take a pledge
To be free
Once more, the mantra, ‘I am free’

Anytime is a good time to show gratitude

Engulfed by thick billows of smoke
Lungs filled with it, almost asphyxiated
Squeezing out the last ounce of life
Haze has blinded the vision of some
Hiding behind the threatening smoke
Smoldering emotions running high
Loved ones are torn away forcibly
Lives suffocating to premature death
Who will clear the engulfing smoke?
Wiping away emotions with billowing smoke
Tempers running high, mercurial rage
Engulfing even the perpetrators
Wisdom is on the verge of silent death
Engulfed by thick billows of smoke

Abundance all around
Moments to celebrate the excesses
Shared meagerly

Music is inspired from Nature
If you listen carefully
Attuned to nature and in harmony
There is music in the rains
The flowing creeks and rivers
All the birds’ chirping
Even the thunderstorms have music
The swish of the wind and sway of leaves
The droplets of dew falling
A resonance in drone of bees
And the animal’s mating signals
The cry of a newborn mammal
And the call of the dolphins
The sea waves and the sound waves
Even the tectonic shifts have music
All the acoustics are there in nature
Even the trees have a language of their own
To communicate through the winds
The whole ecosystem is filled with music
The universe and the planets send out signals
At regular intervals, which we may not hear
If you want to hear unadulterated music
Come closer to nature, and keep your ears open
The musicians are all around us to regale us
So, just be at peace and try to enjoy the music
For the party has not yet begun
As, we are not yet aware of Nature’s music

We are all travelers
Journeying through life
Seeking to visit new places
Destinations, where we stop
Momentarily, and then pursue
We arrive but we do not reach
We travel outside, never within
Are we familiar with the road
Which leads us to our inner self
Hopelessly seeking approval
As we are our approver…Realize
Till now, journeying in wrong direction
Forgetting the familiar alleys
They lead us, to us
For the journey is from inwards
Then moving to the outside world
Seek the destination within
For it will lead you to the right direction
Kindle the light within
And, it will guide you through the darkness
Carry the light within, to seek the path
We are all travelers
