I wish I was talented,
to sing your heart out,
to dance like a graceful ballerina,
to paint beautiful landscapes,
to play all kinds of instruments,
to cook as if you're the next famous chef,
to be quick and and strong like a sportsperson,
but I guess my talent is to write experiences that people can relate to,
to connect and feel empathy for one another.

The power to manipulate your surroundings,
Talking animals and non-human entities,
To see your deceased loved ones,
Trapped in complete darkness,
New faces appearing at sight,
A dream within a dream,
Omens of the future,
To live or to die.

The rose who ascended from above,
the one who flirted with her eyes,
stayed beside you through thick and thin,
had her "first" everything with,
sacrificed her health for your happiness,
said that we would fix what was broken,
saw your hidden talents,
was in pain because I was getting taken granted for,
struggled with having to face the real you,
said I would never leave you,
because I do.
I remember everything.

Alone with myself,
being accustomed to my inner demons,
I am filled with rapture to have more freedom,
but my heart aches for another soul,
for I cannot tolerate with myself.

Here’s to the kids who don’t follow the rules, whose hearts have been shattered many times, where expectations are at their highest, with fake love and people, and desires that are impossible to achieve. The misfits who would stay out of the crowd. Being a wallflower has it’s advantages, too. Sad individuals who feels lost and hopeless figuring out their purpose in life. To continue breathing to or to stop. That is the question stuck in their heads. Feelings have been concealed, relationships have faded, and now what’s left is wishing to be needed.

Life to me is a game. The day your parents give birth to you, your attributes, looks, social status are given. As you get older, you realize that each and everything matters to you. Money, education, relationships, your emotional well-being. So you try your best to gain recognition and appreciation. Basically like those game achievements. Each choice leads to a certain consequence. It’s up to you to decide on creating a better character or remain the same. In the end, the game (our existence) will come to it’s final chapter. It will be passed on to many generations. Hopefully the existing files (your kids, if you plan on making them) will keep you not only in their minds, but in their hard drives (hearts). If there is an afterlife, I hope we will rest in peace and see each other there.

they’re not just called significant others. those are the souls that somehow connected to yours. they are the fighters to defeat any obstacle in their way to get to the one they cherish the most. they’ll do whatever it takes just to be with them again. the dreamers who fantasize about your future together. whether it’s traveling together, making a family, building a business. the lovers who knows everything about you. the good and bad side. they accept all that you are. they are the thankful ones. appreciates their lover’s parents on creating such a beautiful human
