I took a deep breath
Inhaling the silent night
To take refuge in its stillness
Gently settling in its embrace
As worries fade away

So many things are lost in transit
In haste, to unload the luggage  
Unaware of the fragile things
Shoved away in haste to unload  
When I open the luggage
Thousands of broken pieces
Cutting deep into my hands
Bleeding profusely from the wounds
Losing valuable things in transit
Wounds that will stay forever

Are we awake
or in deep slumber
for we are not aware
of the travails of mankind
weary eyes
eyelids are a veil
we see the individual
the outer premises
just a silhouette
what holds us back
to delve in
we are all connected
our abode
in the middle of nowhere
of the universe
when shall we wake up
now or never

Love encompasses the entire universe
It traverses so many galaxies and planets
It is infinite and can’t be restrained by dogmas
Love can’t be betrayed, as the betrayer is banished
For love is so pure, that only the loving heart can decipher
Love has no spoken words, as it is best expressed in actions
Love is not defined as it has multitude, words fall short
Don’t try to explain in love, just love with all your heart*

Intense passion
Ignites burning desire
Reveling in the transformation
As two entities melt into one
There is no duality anymore
Devouring all the potion
This intoxicates beyond senses
Opening up to each other’s world
As all the shackles have been broken
One world, one territory, one passion

Pause, to accelerate growth
Travel gets awry at breakneck speed
Why do we believe life is a race?
Patience is not inaction
As we confuse action with growth
Pause at the right moment
And accelerate at the right pace
Enjoy the trip, with the lovely view
Keep an eye on your destination
You will reach on time

We are still alien
To this paradise
Our journey
Shrouded in
Mystery
This celestial
Space, in space
Navigating
Through eternal
Cosmos
Ever expanding
And becoming
Unknown
Not even a
Glimpse of answers
We seek
As we steer
Through uncertainty
Between
Unknown origins
And Destination

Cut through the imaginary chains
Get a grip on the life’s reins
The journey maybe tough
Diamonds are polished by the rough
Journeying through the dark
Frictions may cause temporary spark
Running frantically across difficult territory
The pain and agony is just transitory
Life is there to celebrate
When you are confident and don’t speculate

Trying to reach out to life
Feel distanced from me
I have travelled a distance
Went beyond the road I planned
Life will not let me walk back
The erased road remains a memory
Now I have to move ahead
Without looking back
Life has strange ways
Where you travel without itineraries

The journey is within
Know thyself
Haze of doubts will clear away
Soulful music will reverberate

It's a trend it is not trendy

Drop all inhibitions
Let your imaginations fly
Unchain from doubt
That makes you stationary
Soul is all pervasive
And let it be your guide
Venturing new avenues
Take the boulevard to freedom
When you will meet yourself
To reveal and expose the truth
When, the null will surround you
Cocooning you into the infinite
Forever, bliss will kiss your soul

No language can express love
All the alphabets seem to diminish
In front of true passion of the heart
So, don’t speak; let me fathom the love
For it’s not adulterated with hollow words
Just be in love and love will respond
It’s the matter of the heart- a heart to heart affair

Heart’s door

What you do
Comes back-
Good or Bad

Don’t wait to be taught
World is yours to explore
Learn the way of the world
Write down your literature
Add pages to your journal
Filled with your experiences

The known faces of felony
Shockingly, trampling trust
Heinous minds at work
Annihilating the sanctity
Of relationships blatantly
Known faces, yet strangers
Encroaching on innocence
Putting out the flames of hope
Even before it lights up the world

Kohl eyed beauty
Don’t shed tears
As it brings a pall of gloom
I would rather remain parched
But shower me with Love
Waiting to plunge into deep waters

Quenching thirst with
The last drop of hope
Now, the weary traveler
Treads over the desert
Waiting for an oasis
All in sight was a mirage
Soul dried and crumbled
The sand tombs
Became the abode

Reverberating laughter
Across the valley, the flowers rejoiced
Heart’s being merry

The lemon, yellow and juicy
With lots of zest
Squeeze it to make lemonade
Or some extra zing to your tea
The cocktails give a kick
When lemon juices are mixed
Well ripe ones are pulpy
It has got hue named after it- lemony
Pickle it to have it throughout the year
Or use its oil for aromatherapy
A lemon drink will keep you cool when it’s sunny
So life can become more fun and tangy

Where peace can reside
Accommodate differences
And accept different views
Calmness will prevail within
Win over hearts with a smile
We are all fellow travelers
Let’s assemble to pray
And wish for abundant peace
Let love reign supreme
In our heart and soul
Our beautiful planet deserves peace

When it’s time to face the world
There’s the madness that surrounds you
You want to retire to the edge of the world
Your shout at the top of your voice
Yet, the words fall on deaf ears
When it is a challenge to emerge from the crowd
Within, the voice call out, you can do it
While being swept off by the nonchalance
You become more resilient
Your soul and heart have faith in you
All you can say to the world “watch me what I do”
You can brave the madness of neglect
Rip through the veils of arrogance
You have the words in you
Revolutionizing the world within you
Let the pen run riot across the pages
Read out to the world
Words that soften each blow
When the world will one day wake up
Your words will make an impact
The whole world will listen
When you unleash the madness within
You can cut through the fiercest opposition
Words will ring true
When everyone will listen in stupefied silence

Minds infested with lies
There is no reason to start a conversation
Every word a figment of sinister plan
Heady cocktail inebriating the sane mind
Muddled heart and mind in a state of stupor
Reasons not enough to not believe the unreasonable

Lies are strong acids which corrodes the foundation of Trust.*

Life cannot be understood on the surface
Take a plunge to the depths of life
That is where the truth can be found
After swimming against all odds

Driven by the same desires
Trying to outdo time
Dying to achieve the bounty
Racing through the tracks
Rash driving, causing crashes
Simple desires, not simple anymore
Indifferences and lack of emotions
Relationships drifting away
Melting like the glaciers
Submerging in the icy cold waters
Human bonding seems to be fragile
Ragged threads giving away to the weight
Everyone fighting a battle within
Imaginary demons slaying the soul
If only we could salvage the remaining
Not being in the race against time
Taking a path which suits us
For we are destined to a certain amount
Not more, not less; enough to balance
Our life is precious, join the adventure
But not the adventure to outdo fate
Desire to live, without the external pressures
Taking out time to love enough
For love is never enough, no matter how much we share

Sometimes life runs in slow motion
No matter how much you try
You are unable to walk out of the situation
A feeling, when time runs without you
Taking the world around you much ahead
And you are left behind, in a time wrap
Your limbs become tired, trying to swim
Inside the tide, which, has drowned you
In the deluge of memories
Neither can you swim back to the shores
Nor, leave behind the present situation
Keep paddling through the turbulence
Incapacitated heart beating feebly
Lungs filled with despair, gasping for breath
It won’t be long, you drown
If you don’t find a way to release yourself
From the chains of failing memories
Life will slow down further
Before you realize
You are heading for the bottomless pit
