yet i'm here still remaining
growing stronger and gaining
my Light from what pained me

within every breath and act of mine
i shine with a divine movement
of the eternal infinite
for i am the infinite
just like you

we are such sacred beings

but through darkness

the smallest of kinds -
with a thought that's so subtle
it might pass me by
"this is as deep as it grows"
magic like this can’t be owned
"this is only a dream"
i must wake up and go
trust it's all for my growth

maybe next time i will not
make shorelines my home
i'll look inward for more
heal mySelf when i’m sore
realize all is reflecting
my own reservoir

Love can feel like a war
each time bickering more
but it's fighting to prove
i am all i look for

even if it was just for a moment
           we were hOMe

never again
will i fear leaving the shore
as your waves of intuition
fuel the anchor to my sea of losses

your familiar tongue
had forgotten its foreign nature
and together, we unlocked the door
to a vast sea of unkept secrets

the Light is always there at the end of the tunnel

            like that of a warm-hearted human
and hidden gems that reflect all of the cosmo's glow
to shine through his sea-colored eyes
while Sun light dances off of his tri-lingual tongue
and i bet i could float through this vibration
like it was water i breathe and the food i need
and something about the humidity leaves me sweating out
all of the losses i had ever cried about
while the heavy heart of this island and the fire in his eyes
remind me of glitter-filled skies that sparkle love i couldn't find
a key to unlock untold mysteries this world has begged to know
and i know i am not from here but this place takes me hOMe

think good thoughts - it (truly) shows
once inside, but out it flows
(you) ride a certain frequency
and everyone around you knows
it's up to you, these thoughts you (brew)

you planted trees down my worries
and grew love in all of the places i was too afraid to shine
and now a forest grows in all of the corners your fingers got to know
and wonder dances through the leaves to your magic breeze

but someone once told me that curiosity killed the cat
and yeah maybe when you smiled at me that first time
i wondered where you had been my whole life
and i think that's where we went wrong
just like the nights you spent telling me words
in the way your language speaks them
and i spent my hopes and dreams on them
i could see them being the key to all my wants and needs

but magic is made up of tricks
and you sure are the master
at making me believe the trees were real
but lately the plastic leaves have melted from the fire
you rekindled in my heart
and even if the words weren't true
you gave me something bright and new

i know we all are trying to be the best humans we can possibly be
so i don't blame you for leaving what you breathed into me
because really, i chose you to come do these things to my heart
i prayed and hoped and i manifested you to be there
when i looked up from my lonely hands

if only you hadn't come into work that night
if only i hadn’t stumbled to that side of the beach
to that side of the world
if only i had done something differently in my past
then maybe, just maybe then
i wouldn’t have fallen into the arms of lost hope
and maybe we would have never known
that magic could exist in strangers
maybe everything occurring now would feel real

but instead i am walking through some kind of lucid dream
and i can't figure out what my room used to feel like
because now it just looks so unfamiliar to me
like the person i am

i can't find her

what did you do when i looked up at you? some kind of spell..
i am ready to be free

i want you

but you don't have room left for someone like me

the only one
we need in order to
shift the Light back toward
our own "b r o k e n" pieces

     is ourselves.

we are not obligated to fill our Soul up
with other people's worn out pieces

You do not have to pick from gardens
outside of the forest already thriving within You.

for when You do;
Your head will fill with leaves that fall from autumns breeze when all You needed to breathe was spring, winter will come in june, and soon You'll lose sight of the moon... because you lost Yourself inside of somebody else's fire, gasping for answers.

When all along, all You had seeked, had been burning up in You.

and the only way out is to fall in Love
with the smoke rising in Your own eyes.

like You could before You jumped ship,
like You could before You began
                     f e a r i n g
the possibility of finding out that Your pieces
may not ever fit together in the same way again.

      but what is life if we always float where the water is calm?
              what is life if our pieces never changed?

i don't know about You, but i prefer the rapid descent of water falls and milky way skies that can only be achieved through the most demanding environments; the ones that leave You filled with

                                      P u r e  L i g h t.

               You are enough energy; all on Your own.

Your Light is what leads You back hOMe.

again, since Your broken heart's eye now knows that Your vessel alone holds enough Light to fuel all the stars in the sky, that it burns enough fire to warm the hearts of millions.
