the order of the alphabet
and color
my world black and white

my eyes
stare into
the void

my mind
is no longer
present

my body
hurts a bit
with every move

i am just
so exhausted

i try
to remember
this dream
that felt so real

but with
every day
it fades

when
my tongue
fails
to speak
my mind
writes
the unspoken words
down

but what
do i do
when my mind
fails to speak
too?

I fell alone
and no one caught me at the end
you say I'm just a friend
but act like I'm something more

flowers
exist
in all
different sizes
and colors

and they
never feel
bothered
by a different
flower

so why
can't we be
like flowers?

honestly
i always took
it for granted
that
our friendship
is that
amazing & strong

but with
this pandemic
i realized
how lucky
i really am

focusing
on life lessons
lets you grow.
focusing
on mistakes
holds you back.

sometimes
my heart
wants to tell
my friends
about me

but my head
is still
stronger

and my anxiety
may be irrelevant
but
it's still there

small smile
and
twinkling eyes?

soft hands,
never wanting
to let go?

true villains
don't exist
and
neither do
true heroes

in someone's book
you are
a villain
in another's book
you are
a hero

you see,
it just
depends
on who
the storyteller is

Poems written
late at night
are always
the most honest

Because
late at night
the overthinkers
are way to sleepy
to filter their words

Only then they truly
don’t longer speak
with their mind
but
with their heart

hope
is a
terrible thing

it keeps you alive
and
nourishes you

until
it strikes
you down
with
one single blow

i close
my eyes
and they
burn hot
with tears
i don't cry

a stormy wind
howls
in the night

but it doesn't
bother me

because now
it kinda feels
like the world
shares
the storm
that weathers
inside of me

it feel

to kiss
your lips?

to feel
your arms
protectively
around me?

to feel
your love?

there are people
who have
something
intoxicating
about them

something
mysterious
and
dangerous

and sadly
most of them
are
the most broken

they'll be
hurting others
just as much as
they are hurting

be lenient
with them

because pain
is what
they know best

was fine

clearly wasn’t

seem more intensive?

the thoughts

the world

without social media

of honesty,

burned
like hell

the smell
of fire

to answer
the questions
i know
they would ask

jealousy
is an
ugly thing

it consumes

as if

don’t exist anymore
yet their light
still shines upon us?

to be remembered,

a better place

scary thing

it gives you
way too much
power
over someone else

lose control
far too
easily

i hid
my true
emotions
behind
jokes
and laughter

playful comment

a part
of me
is sick of
comparing
myself
with all the girls
in  my environment
and on
social media

other part
of me
just can't stop
pulling myself
down

why can't

two midnight lovers
sharing kisses
in the safeness
of the night?

saying silent
I love you's
with our eyes
so no one
will hear?

holding hands
while walking away

our fingers
