Baby Please Don't Worry
All my life I have tried, to build a world beyond what I knew
I took you along the ride
Just to have you on my side
But since I was the only one the lay the grounds
Everything is flowing my way
Leaving you outside the crowds
I try my best to scream your name
But the cheers of thousands make it nothing more then a whisper

I calm the crowds and come to your side
There was only one other time I had seen your make-up run
That was when your grandpa died
I finally saw what you were trying to tell me all along
So I carried you home in my arms and whispered

Baby please don't worry about me
No matter how far I go
No matter how big I get
How much I make
How many fans I gather
How many battles come between us
No matter what happens
Baby please don't worry
I will always be there for you

The moment we reached the front porch
You whispered that you already knew
But something else said that there was more
I asked you what was the matter
Hoping the news would be easy
You told me this

Lover when I tell you, just promise me please
You keep to your words
I will always worry about you, like you worry about me
But please no matter how far you go
No matter how big you get
How much you make
How many battles come between us
No matter what happens please find your way home
And be here for me, cause now I need you the most

I just found out something, but I am very scared
Please, please don't make any mistake
I didn't want to tell you, since you are just starting out
But I couldn't have dared
I know you wouldn't let me take the chance
I just don't know what to do

Every word I heard you say, I could hear another heartbeat inside you
One much faster, as if it was just made
I was getting the feeling of something happening
But I wasn't too sure
So I asked,
What is going on, my Starlight Princess

I watched you smile just a little bit
As memories of when I first gave you that name played once again

You said, I'm pregnant

I Still Remember
The first day I saw you, I knew that you were something else
A soul damaged by what the world had brought
I knew that you were just looking for a friend
Maybe a little something more

That day our teacher put us together, all of it changed
While the others in the pact worked off the act
We talked to each other like we have been there for long
You showed me the pain you felt
While I showed you that things will be alright
Every smile on your face
Every beam of light in your eyes
I miss those days where you were almost mine

I still remember all those long nights, where we talked on and on
I still remember the reds on your cheeks
From every moment I told the truth
I still remember trying to stand by your side, just wanting to let you know
I still remember waiting to see you each day
And feeling wasted when you would not show
Just one time I wanted to hear to say my name
I still remember how I was falling for you

We stayed friends for a while
I respected your wishes to stay that way
You were worried that you would loose my faith
When really it slowly grew
Just because I knew it was you

We grew closer each day
Our hearts still to the same beat
I thought this was something that could never go away
I made you a member of my growing empire
Everything was about to become part of legend
That was in till I tried to add one more

I still remember all those long nights, where we talked on and on
I still remember the reds on your cheeks
From every moment I told the truth
I still remember trying to stand by your side, just wanting to let you know
I still remember waiting to see you each day
And feeling wasted when you would not show
Just one time I wanted to hear to say my name
I wanted to make you mine
I still remember our first fight
I still remember seeing you cry
But I wanted you to know
I still remember how I was falling for you

When he came around we were falling apart
I felt he was an incoming danger
You thought that it was a lie
You stood by his side
I knew that he was trouble all along
But you wouldn't listen to a word I had to say

I still remember waiting for those long talks at night
I still remember regretting not warning you
Of the coming future that I saw
I still remember watching the lights in your eyes fade away
I still remember feeling the anger you held
Each and every time we met
I still tried to be there for you
But that devil burned everything we had
We both stayed friends with him
Then his real shades of black shown right through
I wanted to end his life
When I heard that he was throwing punches
They all stood trying to protect him
When all along I was trying to keep from others going through what we did
I guess its too late to even do that

I still remember all those long nights, where we talked on and on
I still remember the reds on your cheeks
From every moment I told the truth
I still remember trying to stand by your side, just wanting to let you know
I still remember waiting to see you each day
And feeling wasted when you would not show
Just one time I wanted to hear to say my name

My Dear Sunset Rose
Please just hear me say this
I am sorry for what I have done
I just wanted to keep you safe from harm
Just please remember this
I still remember how I was in love with you

The Xi'an Incident
Bound for lands far in the East
Never have our hands touched
Our eyes barely knew each other
Only a couple of us knew another's name
Fewer recognized our voices

In its Land of Power
As we wandered the grounds
Of a city hoping to earn the winter 5 Rings
We knew joy
We knew laughter
We knew beauty
Unlike what our home lands held

But in our final hours in the city of Beijing
A poison seeped into our morning feast
Which quickly took its toll
A few thousand feet in the Air
As we fell into the city of Western Peace

Our plans became shattered
Few of us barely survived
As our own bodies lost control
We were at the mercy of our own insides

Somehow the two state namesakes were the Worst

Taken to the hospital
If it were not for the group mothers and guides
We would have been among the dead
We saw rolled in front of us
As our medicine was entering our blood
Through needles in our hands

In the midst of what we've come to call
The Xi'an Incident
I saw a glimmer of a rare soul
One full of kindness
Intelligence
And freedom
A type of rare Golden Soul I've come to admire
That lied within the body of the other state

My actions may have been interpreted as
The essence of the White Snake
On some level, maybe it was
But in truth
My gift from Shanghai
To whisper an appropriate goodbye
Was to thank her for pushing me along when times were rough

I am thankful for all that were with me on that trip
And I do hope to see her, and everyone again.

Like I told her in a note I left,
Maybe Hoopa will help make sure
We meet again
Dedicated to my EF Family

Rumors
Rumors
They fly
Sometimes it seems they fly
Faster then any aircraft
Found in conspiracy or in the accepted reality
Just the sight of a man entertaining a baby
Makes him a good father
Seeing a woman with a child giggling to no end
Makes her a good mother
When all they were trying to do is take care of a young one

Rumors
Be they good or be they cruel
Write the history of the small minds that let them be truth
Slowly they could become a weapon from Brahma
or an ancient legend

Rumors
They do not need a body
For they possess the foolish minds that believe
Only those that find its mistakes
Cause by the afflicted who tricked its tale
See the true lights of what is said

Rumors
Let them inside
And they will possess you
Altering the truth to fit their existance

Endless Nights
Another girl walks away, with tears running down her face
Another boy is standing there, trying not to give a care
Two more hearts are given a little more wear, then they could ever bear
I try not to let myself in
Other then to help them heal what has been

I begin to wonder why, cupid's aim had been gone
Is my heart gonna lead through the same wrong
I can't grip on to the arrows, knowing that a chance of wasted time is there
When all along

I just wanna be with a girl that leads the stars
A girl that will help me travel far
Somebody that can light the candles, with nothing more then her smile
That girl who is ready for war, and never too afraid to show her scares
A girl that always is ready to dial, for the long talks when our hands are too far
A girl whose eyes drive me crazy, a little more each time they meet
The feel of her breath running down my chin, knocking out the sun
I just wanna girl who is ready for, constant endless nights

I walked over to her house later that night
Just to see if everything was alright
Her daddy was trying ask her about that fight
Trying to help his little girl through, the first of more
Her momma saw me outside
Hurried me in to her daughter's side
There was nothing more that they could do
Since she had sealed them away, ready to take away the pain

She heard me knocking at her bedroom door right as she had lost all hope
Little did I know, that I was what she was wanting
When she opened up I stood there, ready for whispers of despair
I found the knife and kicked it to the hall
She then jumped up to the kiss, casting out the haunting
It looks like I finally found

The girl that leads the stars
The girl that will help me travel far
Somebody that can light the candles, with nothing more then her smile
The girl who is ready for war, but never too afraid to show her scares
The girl that always is ready to dial, for the long talks when our hands are too far
The girl whose eyes drive me crazy, a little more each time they meet
The feel of her breath running down my chin, knocking out the sun
I finally found the girl who was ready for those constant endless nights

A few days later he saw us there, laying in the park watching the skies over our heads
He wanted to start a fight, thinking that I took his might
He grabbed a knife and tried throw it towards her
I stopped him before he could
And told him that he needed to end his thoughts
But just remember this

Someday you will find the girl that leads the stars
The girl that will help him travel far
Somebody that can light the candles, with nothing more then her smile
The girl who is ready for war, but never too afraid to show her scares
The girl that always is ready to dial, for the long talks when your hands are too far
The girl whose eyes drive you crazy, a little more each time they meet
The feel of her breath running down your chin, knocking out the sun
Someday you will find that girl who was ready for those constant endless nights

He took the my words very well and wished her that all was swell
I looked at her just one more time, only to find that she was gone
She ran towards the boys side, asking him why did he start the war
When he was the one that left her side
He told her that he was high, had to clue of what went by
She only got mad, to find out that he had lied
She told him to stay away, she didn't want to hear the truth
Thinking that it was her fault, she ran off in the blink of an eye
I chased her to the side of the canyon, knowing what she was gonna do
I grabbed her arm and shouted please don't go
She ****** and asked me why
Thinking that her whole life was a lie
All I had to say was

She was the girl that lead the stars
The girl that will help me travel far
Candles burn from light of her smile
She was the girl who is ready for war, but never too afraid to show her scares
The girl that I am always ready to dial, for the long talks brewing when our hands are too far
The girl whose eyes drive me crazy, a little more each time they meet
The feel of her breath running down me chin was enough to knock out the sun
She was girl who I was ready to spend those constant endless nights

New World
Isolated in academics
To finish my final days
Honored with a chance to fly
To an Ancient World
For a journey unlike any other with friend
Of New and Old

We all gather to the skies
From points of two
Dependent on which part of the pan
We originated

Many seeing each other
In the flesh
For the first time
Immediately we become friends
Unified by simply excitement a nervousness
For something entirely new for all of us

We each gather for the skies
To wait six hours short of a day
To begin our journey
In the oldest of lands

Many of us resting
Some simply lying back
We talk among our members about our paths
Leading us to this point and where we hope it goes

We come closer to our destination
Excitement grows among tired minds
Our blood rushes through our veins for what is to come
As or passage in the sky suddenly changes and burns

To be extinguished by the salty cries of Ryƫjin
And swallowed whole to gain passage to
a New World

Heart Beat
On a bed in which I lay
A life I see
A century old path leading
To this moment
No matter the path I took
It all lead to this
At least in this I feel no pain
No sorrow
No regret
Soon I am to meet
All that brought others and me
Heart beat eighty

I can see the glows of the tears
Slowly falling down their cheeks
People I have brought together
By my own hand and the grace of fate
Mothers, daughters, brothers, sisters
People of my past of torn from the battles
United under the pressure of loss
People for the future
Are brought another lesson of life
People of present
Given another relief from inner waterfalls
Heart Beat Seventy

My wive is closest
My daughter is next
Whispering please don't go
The warmth I feel
Is from their breaking hearts
I sing the songs from which we first met
Trying my best not to sound goofy
Managing to ease the pain for only a moment
Lights start dancing around me
Family from what seemed each generation
Come to help me across the line.
Heart Beat Sixty

Her hair lays on my chest, feels like it did when we first met
On that summer day down by the river
The water rushing through our toes as we danced the song of the winds
Laughter filled the air
Fish even decided to join the chorus
The splash of their jumps changes the beat
Our hearts sync to it
The air is filled with love
Even the angel of death paused in admiration.
Chuckling "I guess it will be a while"
Heart Beat Fifty

My sisters all gather in tears while my brothers to stay strong
I whisper to them I was sorry
For not being there in a time of need
I told them what our time apart has caused
I told them in fear I would never see them again
They became ghosts to fill the gaping hole that held in my heart for times too long
Only to dig its depth
The middle and second of youngest sisters granted the forgiveness
The older that is closer to my number still eggs the stubborn head
My brothers never held a grudge
The youngest of eight, never held a love quite like the rest
But still understood the pain
Despite having been born during the aftershocks
Heart Beat thirty

The Lights grew brighter
No sound could move
When this began I could hear the cries of women
Bringing out the next of the world
I hear the shouts of children in pain
I could feel everything
But now there was nothing, but a pressure on my chest
Dogs have gathered on my body, next to my wife and daughter
Smiling at a sight long seen not
My wife's hears their breaths and cries even louder
But no sound could be heard
My daughter knew what was coming, and joined the tears too
I felt the tears like the waters of holy river
Cleansing the filth still clinging to my soul
Heart Beat Fifteen

The voices from the past start to enter
Encouraging words that all will be alright
Everyone around me has changed
From the old that they once were, to youth in which we first met
My grandparents who died in pain appeared by my side
Looked better then I could remember
My wife was once again 16, the year that we met
My children were babies, crawled by the animals that lay on my body
Grandpa tells me that "This is the last look, might as well enjoy,
"The fruits of my labor have grown, but for now I will see the seeds,
"Each breath I take unlocks the cage that my soul was trapped,
"So I may live,
"If there is anything you want to say, say it now"
Heart Beat ten

I lifted my hand to touch my wife, as I would when surprising her with a present
I asked for a pen and paper to write one last message
My time is running out
Heart Beat Nine

The Lights raise their hands to grant me a slice of strength
Enough to help with what was needed
"To my family, to my friends"
Heart Beat Eight
"If you need me and I am gone. Look to the Stars"
Heart Beat Seven
"My mind has always been there, it was only a matter of time..."
Heart Beat Six
"Before my body decided to follow. Remember the words I have said..."
Heart Beat Five
"For each was meant to guide you. Do not allow yourselves to fall apart because of petty..."
Heart Beat Four
"Wars. I taught you all to patch wounds as soon as they are made so that you will never lose touch..."
Heart Beat Three
"of who you are an where you came from. The devil himself tried to take me over, but I fought it by accepting who I was. Do not argue over difference, do not blame any new lives that enter in the place of the lost..."
Heart Beat Two
"And do not stop being a family. Take my words and grow. I love you all with all my heart and I want you all to remember that no matter the trouble. I want you to remember that I will be still be here at your side protecting you every step you take. As will our ancestors. Use your gifts well and use them to help others. Please."
Heart Beat One
"With Love, Dakota. Blessed Be"

Curse of the Night Walker
The curse of the Night Walker
Ones who sought the traces of darkness
Of world and of soul
We see through the shades
We know the blindness
Some may be born
Some may be dragged
We know this darkness
Better than most

Daylight ignores us
Cruelty cages us
Even if we break free
It never changes

Day Walkers say they feel
Sorrow and doubt
When the Night Walker fades
When most never knew what made us
They pay a few kind words
Then walk

Day Walkers find it easy
To move away from darkness
Thinking candle light is enough
To light the path
When their flame is easy to extinguish

Flowers pelt the fallen's final rest
When petals wither
Never do Day Walkers
Have the burden of the souls
Which still linger
When the Day Walkers are blind
To the flickers of light the soul that still remain

The curse of the Night Walker
Is that we know too well
The sight of a lingering soul
Bound to a world
Where daylight seeks to hide us
Rather than shelter us

The curse of the Night Walker
Is that we hear
The shadows that continue to scream
To the horrors they felt
When they cast the form in which they became

The blessing of the Night Walker
Is that we also see
The distant stars in the sky
In which few of us see
As the destiny of the Night Walker
So we may guide others to the light
These days it seems like everything is falling apart
The world is burning
Corruption by power tore up what was already here
But so many never feel the pain
Almost as if they are not in this dimension
I see the fires fading away
As if I grew wings ready to find a new way
Through the heavens I see, a face from long ago

A beam of sunlight that has always been there
But now she is a little bit brighter
I had always seen the light, even when my mind
Would be the only eye focused
Seeing that light is what drives me forward
Now that those who got me started are gone
All I want to do is have her by my side

It's times like these
That I finally realize that everything I had been through, was leading to this
Its times like these, that everything is coming together
Only a few more pieces are left to find
They say just imagine what you want to appear
The cosmos will take care of the rest
Its times like these, that I see that more needs to be done
I finally see that words need to be spoken
Just so they will understand what is desired
I am finally awake, I finally see
Its about time to fly
I am finally awake

I try to sneak over to let her know
That after all this time I finally understand
The signs she wanted to show me
I finally woke up
To know that she seen me the same way,
As I had seen her all along

I remember those days, when we were nothing more then a couple of kids
I remember that day when I came back from a long fight
She asked for forgiveness for treating me the way she did
I was never mad, but I knew how much she wanted to hear those words
She was the first person that has ever done that for me
I always she was different from the crowds
That moment proven it much more then right

It's times like these
That I finally realize that everything I had been through, was leading to this
Its times like these, that everything is coming together
Only a few more pieces are left to find
They say just imagine what you want to appear
The cosmos will take care of the rest
Its times like these, that I see that more needs to be done
I finally see that words need to be spoken
Just so they will understand what is desired
I am finally awake, I finally see
Its about time to fly
I am finally awake

No more searching for angels hidden in the ground
No more losing blood from the thorns of a rose
No more illusions hidden in the sunset
I want to finally see those true angels
I want to finally see that tiny piece of heaven that was waiting for me
I know when I'll be there
I know when I'll be there
Cause she'll be there waiting for me

I can't believe that it took me so long to realize that the light was never far
Just whispers away is all it ever took
Finally I have awoken to see this view
The souls from my past have finally settled
Now I can finally chase my dreams
Now I can finally love without the fear

It's times like these
That I finally realize that everything I had been through, was leading to this
Its times like these, that everything is coming together
Only a few more pieces are left to find
They say just imagine what you want to appear
The cosmos will take care of the rest
Its times like these, that I see that more needs to be done
I finally see that words need to be spoken
Just so they will understand what is desired
I am finally awake, I finally see
Its about time to fly
I am finally awake

Ready to Move on
As I take in my surroundings
I cannot help but remember the insanity that had flown
The laughs the cries the bonds
Such madness that I shall forever cherish

But now that those who have brought the insanity
Are gone to their own path
It is time that I follow suit
It is time I chase a world that has been tacking my every move
A world that reality is altered
As if entering a realm far beyond Earth
With my peeks into its jungles
Discoveries appeared that no one else has seen
Yet so much more is in store

As destiny gleams brighter
Something holds me in place
With binds ever so tight it keeps me from walking any further
What is it that holds these chains?
Is it a fallen friend?
Is it a lost brother or sister?
Could it be an ill elder?
No
I look back to see what holds the chain
To my wonder that what was really a who
And that who will leave those in wonder with a what held in their lips

When I first gave her a glance
There were nonexistent thoughts of romance
Truthfully I have never taken the chance
To dig into those grounds to see what treasure was buried under the surface
But something happened
Something that made me stumble through a crooks work which opened a door
That door
Allowed for me to enter a chamber
Of knowledge thought forgotten from the ancients

I took my time observing the sight
Every stroke of the brush
Every change of color
Trying to understand each story that it held
And to my surprise
Each story only reveals another sight
A goddess in disguise
One of such beauty
Men who dared enter her presence
Are driven insane by the essence
I guess it is a good thing I am already insane

None the less I cannot help but admire
The sweet smile that eases my heart
Her emotion is so driven it is hard to imagine
What could hold that wheel
I stretch my arm out to a catch a ride
When the rails of the chariot
Smack my palm, I swing on board
For a rider faster then ever before
Who knew that it was possible
To have a giant wonder at this speed

Untapped potential lies in us both
Everything we try is passed with ease
No boundaries are placed in our flight
Never has many seen such might
We may have been born a world apart
Yet we are not so different

My hope is that someday when we are closer
That our journey is ignited
And we are able to shoot past the moon
Past the stars
And further away from the galaxy
To explore the vast distances of the universe
While learning about the trials of our own planets
Who knows what we may uncover
The mysterious pasts of my Starlight Princess
with the cloak of her Shadow Giant
Can write a history
Even more frightening then horror

Yet when we are at peace
Music is always at flow
Her voice always at play
With mine blooming the roses of her cheeks
If I am soon to lay at rest
I will be without a mortal pest
Or if I am able to live a century more
A regret shall not peek

Is This a Sign?
I spend my days waiting for a call to the beings of the night
Beings that are thought to be of only tale
Beings of dream
Beings of imagination

As I wander the path ahead
Listening to the whispers of shadows around
On occasion my eyes tend to wander around
Like lost travelers finding the trail back home
Only to see that the comforts of home have followed

A parent of parent
A old watcher
Old friends
Old lovers
and even
A schoolyard crush or two

Bringing the memories shared along
Reminding me
Of the struggle, the tears, the fires that I fought
The laughter, the dance, and play I cherished
The kisses blinding me to a dead end

Everywhere I go I see a glimpse of those I left behind
Is this a sign?
All of these faces aged a little more then memories sake
In a new light as I realize that their reasons are to admire
Admire the path I taken, as it was a path they observed
Is this a sign?
Undoubtly I feel eased at what I see
As all I can remember was the ease of heart when I would see
They knew it too
Is this a sign?

If so, where is it pointing?

The Parisian Dream
Alone
Away from home
I stand upon a vessel
Guided by the rivers of romance and light
To seek the histories of distant lands
And the fates that made me
Merge to a new destiny

I watch the waters
Guide the vessel through the historic sights
A sight meant for all foreign eyes to partake
Yet I find myself alone
The famed tower of France spins its light
It sparkles brighter than I remember
As the spotlight seeks a divine host
That appears from its beam
And soars upon wings of white
To land in front of me

The wings carry a familiar friend
One I felt I needed to see closer
Before my latest voyage
Dawned in a bright blue dress
With a white pearl necklace helping frame her gorgeous eyes
Within the locks of sparking brown hair
That light the sky above and sea below
Danced with every little glimmer of light
In a sight I cannot shake

Through in the moments that followed
My eyes fogged with tears of admiration
In the sight of a figure of both strength and beauty
As our arms reached for each other
And embraced our heartbeats
As they coached our feet to the rhyme
Of a phantom song that played
To still the spinning world
To freeze that moment in time
Forever in the dreams from Paris
And forever locked upon my eye
When I see the being in reality without her wings
She doesn't realize are there
Jump in when I try to work
Walk away when I try to speak
It is clear you have no respect

Toss my blankets around
Hide my blade when I am gone
It's obvious you don't want me

Step under me when I try to work
Cry like an ungrateful child for nothing
No regard for others

Shoot me in heat of revenge
Even when I was gone
A childish brat with no apology

Leave your children behind
And date every other man in the state
Give it time and all will be lost

Call upon me every time you need to go
To watch over your youth
And yet you blame me when they won't listen to you

Clung to mommy, you both bicker and whine
It is a surprise you are able to dine
Why is it you put me in the middle

You crave dominance
When those above you are gone, you tear everyone up
I ain't afraid to toss you into the magma

I won't be here much longer, and seeing how you don't need me I shall not return.
You might hear of me on the big screen or in some pages,
But that will be all you see.
I won't be here if you don't need me,
As the world comes knocking its time for me to answer
I don't care who you are or what you think
I will not let you destroy this
Two options are up
One to join me, one to disappear
Better choose quick or I will decide
Change your mind before I go if you wish
Cause when I ride and you stir trouble
I will personally throw you out of the speeding train
This is my final word
I won't be here if you don't need me
But toss me aside and I won't ever think of coming back
I put one cycle to end, I will put any more to rest
I won't be here
I won't be near
I will make sure of it

Becoming Seeker of the Night
Centuries have passed
My bloodline ready to find the next entity
That lurks in the night

From parent to child
A gift is revealed to help battle the challenges
That sneak through the lights of the stars

Only one
To my knowledge
Has made it to main waters of history
To be immortalized by the surf
As a slime contaminating its clarity
But like the poison of a spider on human flesh
Death only builds, instead of the blind view of a cleansing

That was centuries ago
Now there is me
Seeker of the night
The world slowly gathering at my heels

Centuries have passed
My time had been sweetened
Like the nectar of wine
Everybody is drawn to its taste
Once they brave the looks of its bottle

Centuries have passed
Waiting for that bottle to be opened
Buried in the sands of time
Revealed by an explosion
Unveiling an ancient vault

Centuries have passed
Yet everything inside seemed so...
Familiar
Everything inside recognized me
as well as everyone
Faces renewed, faces new, and faces old
Some most surprising
From my angel of Earth
to my Starlight Healer

Centuries have passed
Waiting for these moments
Moments that saved me from the heaviest drops from the sky
Moments that saved me from the devil's insanity
Moments I rise in my own fight
Creating a new race

Centuries have passed
Waiting for just one thread
To lace into a steel rope
To carry its spirits to a better light
Am I ready for such a move?
I AM

To be the end

2012
A year to change
How we view the world
A year to wonder
What is to come
A year of intrusion
As the skies grow with metallic glare
With rumors to bring knowledge and friend
as well as foe

2012
The timing down to the flatten of winter
Spread by twos to bring new heads
To our lead, and to be our voice
But
Will our voice actually be heard
Or will it fade like
The previous ideals of love, respect and knowledge
Is our lead a true thread, or a needle fired into the blanket

2012
A few have risen
A few are chosen
To flow into a new reality
As a change is occurring
The flip of Earth
The flip of defense
The flip of conscience
We flip to see that
We are ready for our true purpose
Once again

2012
What will it mean
The strength of our world
May be weakening
But it is only the beginning

2012
Change is on its way
More then what was promised
But never sewn
Change is coming
Happening in each one of us
To build on
To live on
To grow on
To a new world

2012
As for what will exactly happen
I cannot truly say
A forward look I attempt
Jumps farther then I need
A foreseer brewed from generations I may be
But my talent is not enough
All I can say
All I need to say
Is things will be better
The universe is self healing
Any holes made
Are filled
Any marks
Are covered

2012
How is this
How can we be going through this
When the universe prepares
All are united
Every bead in us
Is born from a worn star
We are the universe
We are all the same
No matter how different we become

This is New
A new face emerges bearing the name of a familiar flower
A soul unlike any other
One I swear I'd seen in a fantasy
A vision of a brighter day
We chase the same dream
While dancing through the same hardships

Our greedy worlds take most of our time
Just so we can a way to get by
Until a better dawn arises

In the time that passes till that day
I long to see her face
We speak in our freedoms
Trying to piece together a painting of the future
When the stroke of each brush are worlds apart

It almost feel like I've made contact with another world
Yet the distance isn't so far
With each word
A more beautiful woman appears from the heavens

I thought I felt something like this before
But this is something new
And driving me to insanity
The summer winds push my head further into the clouds
The world already knew my words
But she brings out more that lay dormant inside me

Words in poems
Notes from my old guitar
Entire new stories to piece together a new world
It all is emerging with each heartbeat I spend with her on my mind
Yet she seems worlds away

The starlight in the heavens at night give me hope
For a way to better target my path to take
She may be worlds away
But I've always wanted to travel through space

This is new for me
To want to meet someone this much
At this point
I would not care what she looks like
Because with just a few words she was already the most beautiful to me

This is new
This is rare
This is something extraordinary.

The Chinese Goodbye
My heart feels ache
For souls I hardly knew
Our boundaries we had to break
In order to see our hearts grew
Into orchards of Cherry Blossoms

Never have we before taken this journey
To have the chance to cut through
The social stigma our lands placed
On a country know for the power of its army
Regardless of the Problems
We Faced

Our adventure knew pure excitement
and Serenity
Even in our darkest hour
Many were surprised I was one of enlightenment
Which only makes the essence of my identity
Much deeper

This power
We feel sheds tears
To Allow for Magnolias to Grow and Wave
For a Chinese Goodbye
In hopes we meet again
When the tree has grow

What's your Secret?
When people see me, they never see an ordinary man
A giant of man none the less
Those who have seen my heart sometimes ask this question more
And every time the whispers I give are oddly similar
I sometimes wonder if I had been on this Earth before
It would explain everything I understand
When people see what I have become
Out of the mess I was made
They always ask, "What's your Secret?"

I just tell them

My secret is that I never wonder
My secret lies in which I love
Everything I have seen in the past made me this way
In hoping to become something better
My secret is in the hearts I healed
Knowing that they still are able to beat
Truthfully I have no idea how deep this secret goes
I just know its the key to understanding all the rest

An old crush saw me at the park
With a baby girl by my side
She came up and said hello
She asked if the baby was mine
The baby was my sister, and we were out for a walk
She knew that there were a lot of young in my family
But just had to double check
Something about the way I acted, made me look like more of a father
She said she somehow knew that I would be a great dad
And asked,
"What's your Secret"

My secret is that I never wonder
My secret lies in which I love
Everything I have seen in the past made me this way
In hoping to become something better
My secret is in the hearts I healed
Knowing that they still are able to beat
Truthfully I have no idea how deep this secret goes
I just know its the key to understanding all the rest

Disbelief lies in those who have taken their first look
Ignorance in those of little minds
The smallest minds try to anger the beast inside
I can see the visions of the evil that has tried to boil
It tries to emerge to the surface
The claws grow from my fingertips,
Ready to peel their skin from their bones
But before the monster busts through its cage
A hand of grace caress its cheek
Sometimes its holder is living
Sometimes its holder is dead
Sometimes its holder has yet to experience either
No matter its holder, the effect is the same
The beast is slowly eased into a peaceful mind
Turning itself back to humanity
Those who have seen the beast know that its a power not to tamper
Become surprised of how quick I manage to recover
They ask,
"What's your Secret"

My secret is that I never wonder
My secret lies in which I love
Everything I have seen in the past made me this way
In hoping to become something better
My secret is in the hearts I healed
Knowing that they still are able to beat
Truthfully I have no idea how deep this secret goes
I just know its the key to understanding all the rest

The Promise of a Rose
The rose
The symbol
The promise
A flower that stands
As the only flower of life
No matter its color
It gives rings of passion
Be it I miss you
Be it I love you
The rose still brings that single promise
That the most beautiful are worth the ****** of its thorns

Chasing that Sunny Day
The night
Is silence I have grow to know best
The thrill of the shadows moving on their own accord
The forgotten, the lost, and those nobody even knew
Have gotten to know the night all to well
Blood gets shed, innocence is forgotten, extinction is praised
Tears go on, to make many believe it is only rain
I fought so hard
And when time seemed short I seen the Sunny day
A guide into a much better world where there is not a single war
The peaceful times I always saw, closer now then ever before
The faces of the future, the carrier of of my legacy
I know she watches this day
Maybe finally I can stop chasing
And finally lie in the sunlight with her at my side
I hope there is still time to chase the Sunny day

Goddess of Mind
I travel to seek what the world may fear
In each corner that most would not even dare
Searching for what is beyond what they may appear
As I travel, my efforts prove stronger then thought
I find a woman with beauty comparable to that of a goddess
Grasps my heart, starving it of what adventure it held, for a ride more thrilling then before
Her spell binds me in her essence, every beat of her heart awakening the animal
Her eyes then easing my fire to a halt
Only to burn hotter with the feel of her breath brushing against my chin

As I was blinded to only see the her glow
I felt as if a stage was set
For the world to watch as we moved
Yet only to be blinded the the popping lighting
Created by the feel of our skins brushing together in the moonlight
But when I peer away to see
Not a soul to be seen

Without an eye her passion raises the grounds I stand on
The pulse of our hearts bringing power to let us fly
Like the angelic keepers that hold back our demons
That tried to ties us to bedrock

Everything that was held
Is now free to roam the cosmos
Our gifts in our threads are now tied together
Nothing can stop us
For she is the Goddess of Mine
And I am her bodyguard always there in her time

Releasing the Demon
I have grown tired of waiting for the daylight
My addiction had finally been fed
The rush of the hunt finally courses through my veins
I am sick of having to wait for this power
The demons of my past try to grabs on my limbs
But soon they will see an empty corpse
As I hold his heart in my hands
They smell the blood on my hands, baited in like hungered dogs
All meeting the same fate as I rip them to shred
My eyes turn blacker then night
I see the evil the has leaked in our world
Its time to bring the extinction
Either hop the ride or get out of the way
The devil himself wouldn't stand in my way
He just sends his hounds to tear down what I found
They tried to execute me for this retaliation
But hide away the true corruption
Some say its a pact with a demon that brings this pain
Ignorance blinds them to the truth
That angels and demon fight hand in hand for this war
Never again will I stand
They took away what was mine
Now I release the demons
To take them

Blue Dawn
Seven Years Have Gone

Since the search for her began
When our little girl appeared
In the Blue Dawn
When a man
In a white robe
Showed me our little girl
Who had yet to be Born

The Blue Dawn
Saved my life
And pointed me in the direction
Of an old lover
With a flame that had yet to be ignited
Though it was tempting on several accords

She was one who actually thought I was awesome
Despite knowing my imperfections
Someone whom I'd love to see as
My Wife

The stars and dancing lights of the sky
Show in her eye
We both had admiration
For one another
For taking the chance to find our dreams
And actually making it

I have learned she sees me in the same light
Making me yearn for her smile
Her Eyes
Her Spirit

To once again see

A Horror I Know
A horror I know
A loss of breath time three
Cruelty burned through the barrels
To end ways of torture and pain
In both the prey and hunter
Spirits dance and wale
To warn me of my past
For I knew the prey
As we have crossed paths
When our minds expand
But the Spirits also warn
I knew the hunter
For we both came from the same ghost town
That never ceases to haunt us
This is dedicated to an old friend who was met with a very tragic death

I looked
Images of what I wanted to see are blurred
As clutter fills the way
I looked to the path to find a way over
But my step was too large

The heart's wish whispers its words
So gently stating what it would like
I looked to the elders
But that become nothing but memory

Passion aches for a chance to dance
Swaying its hands to sign whats coming
I looked to the moonlight defender
But that was nothing more then a child's admiration

My strength hangs by the thinnest of thread
Waiting for a chance to fight
I looked to a swordsman who fought the same wars
But that too was admiration for forgotten ways

My mind tries to plan the next step
Seeing if it could twist the ropes of reality
I looked towards the bridge
But that was gone in the wages of war

I looked for a hand to hold by my side in this journey
Seeing if they were worthy of the time
I looked to my family for ideas
But that too had faded into lost memories

So I stand
Waiting for wings to grow
To soar above the mess
And meet with the angels I have foresee

Behind I could hear whispers
Chanting various unknowns and tone
I looked to see who is there
To realize the armies I have brought

How am I to truly lead the way
If I am stuck in this hole that never stops getting deeper

Come to me my wings
Allow to soar higher above the forgotten green
So I may once again foresee the angels

The Reason Cupid Left
The pieces
Of the heart
Are spread across the field
The victims all have claimed
That Cupids had abandoned them
Believing they lead to the false loves

They all chose the hands
Cupid had nothing to do with it
It was all their doing that had them harmed
Free will gave them the option to choose the one
But lately their decision had not been pure of heart

He may be of patience
But Cupid is not wasteful
And grows tiresome of the idiotic
The job isn't to gear two for a fun rider
The job is to prepare two for the true purpose

The true purpose of love
To to place enough emotion
Into something created by so much
That it is able to take on a life of its own
And when the love is taken out of the creation
The odds of it reaching something great are slim

That is why Cupid left
Not because of laziness or anger
Because they hold on to the what is left
Inside the generations old Pandora's Box
They hold on and continue to wait for hope

To hope that the few great
Will reset the eyes of love to
The Old ways so more can grow
And in till that day shall come
More victims will be broken into only wonder why

She

She

She

She

She
The first to hear when I made a comeback

Why was I cowardly? Why did I not speak the truth to my mind? Is it me or just she see the same thing? I would love to take her by my side and show her the legends that is growing, she was one of the ones that helped get the seeds sewn in the right place.

My America
American... I sometimes regret having to call myself that... it can be a confusing notion
Our leaders are brought to power built on lies, hidden treason, and times of war
Yet those that somehow break the mold, brought in as one of pure heart
End up being the face of evil of their time

The majority that struggle for cash are faceless
The few that have more then what is needed are praised
What had flown ever so red to keep us alive is replaced by green
Would spill down the mountains fast then the spills of red

Our toys broken sheds more tears then the loss of innocence which goes swept under the rug
The young at ten once knew they where ten, now they think their twenty
Taking pride in crimes they mimic from family
At first one might think it was a need for attention that caused these lies
The police just shake their heads in disappointment that revealed the truth

I fear the future when the masses tried to draw me into the darkness
When they grabbed on I grew in anger and broke their arms
In the abyss I hear them cry at the result, but it did not matter
It was my time
I turned to the spirits and walked away
Made my own times which its fruits tasted ever so sweet it was surprising to the market
That all of this and more was done by sixteen

Now immortalized in the Hauntings from the Snake River Plain
I look back to the abyss, shining my lights
To search for those born in its mess just like me and show them the way out
So they can enjoy a similar reality to my own

I started as a being with fear and anger, now I live waiting to see everything else the next day brings
In my own America I am finally proud to say that I belong
Leading my own life, making my own reality, with thousands gathering behind me
Perhaps enough will gather in time to take me to a new world
All because I fought as an American that saw the need for true change
And cut the strings tied on by the rules of society placed at birth.

Voices
I hear them
Each day that passes
Gentle words from which there is no source
In each direction they come
Some of them joyous
Some of them hateful
Some of them scream
Few of them ever sing

I know few of the sounds
As the kind words of family and friend
Taken too soon
I hear them each day
I carry a part of them with me each day
I always am reminded of the two that pushed me furthest

The first an old man
Who I knew as a father
Took me in as a son
Only to be taken by his illness
When it got to be too strong
He was the only person I felt pushed me forward
As everyone else judged my mind

The second an young girl
Just a year behind me
We only spoke a few times
Through masked medium
Her life taken in bullets and blood
By her mother's side
Just before the man that hurt them both
Took his own life

I hear them both
I see them in my dreams
They push me forward
To help others in any way I can
I hope that soon, and with their help
I can bring the songs of the voices in my head

My Final Year
I grow closer to school closer by the day, at agony of its coming like any other year
Even I just travel onto keys to get the school, it feels the same
A shadowy abyss that is the education of my land
With lights of hope to finally learn what I want
But it means nothing unless I have someone to share it
I run with a school of people that where outsiders that society tried to cast away cause we different
We run in different parts of the mind, we run with ideas beyond what the system builds
We run to chase our dreams, while everyone else figures out theirs
I ran to chase those dreams, I ran with the craziest of ideas, I ran with a mind unlike any other
I ran so far a piece of me has become immortal
But no one to share it with
I wish to explore the world
I wish to see the stars
I even wish to lead my own nation
But to accomplish these goals I hope to see a face in the crowd that I know
Be they blood or be they friend
I just wish to see somebody I love in crowds
Everything has been moving so fast, my old friends have even started knocking to say hello
Even my old school had come around, with the only change is to the toys on the playground
I cannot help but smile to reminisce about the stories that came from these roads
But I would like to be able to show it all to a lover
Somebody I can surprise with the stories I never told anyone but her
It is my final year so perhaps by some weird chance I should meet her
A nice girl with the strength of a Valkyrie even if she doesn't know it
Who shares ambitions and passions much like my own
Oh that would be lovely
But if she doesn't come, luckily it is only my final year of school, not of my life
But yet the stars somehow tell me she will come soon
In all honesty, that would make my final year a great year

Our Last Salvation
In my arms, is where you lie
As the world slowly enters another war
I cannot hear a thing
Tangled in skin, covered only with a blanket
I wish I was there a bit more
But now all that matters is the silence in this room
Brought forth by a friend with a shield when you cried out
I rushed to you with the flashes of red white and blue
Hoping time would serve the best
But now I take comfort in knowing that your safe
With our time alone you asked a question or two
And honesty in I gave
You felt weird  knowing that I helped you so much
Yet what you knew of me was so little
In time I hope that will change
But now I rest my head as do you
Giving thanks for the day's grace and will
In hopes that our last salvation will hold true
With the final moments  of slumber you whisper,
"I love you"

Where is Serenity
In the shadows of the lost
The lights to move on have become illusion
As the war goes on
The sons left behind are trying to take over
Shredding the last trace of the whole
They try to trap me in the grounds
I hold all silence trying to stay at peace
But the fire only grows

I just want to move on in the grounds I built
But the wars creeps behind ever so close
I am tired of the battle
I thought I was done with this
The demons never stop hunting
Prying open all the bars that traps the skeletons
Buried deeper is the beast I starved
Seeing the flesh laying on the ground
Busting apart his cell ready to be unleashed again

Just one more year, one more bullet to take
Before I loose control
Days of chimes meant to embrace the love
Cannot be felt without their arms
I just want to have one year without the lost of light
I just want to find the last chance of passage into love
I just want to find Serenity

Where is the soul to bring life to the darkest of death
How to find a woman to walks the lines
And soar into the distance no how far we fall

Where is Serenity?

I have tried to find her work
Peering into every pure soul that catches my eye
Every time I find the doors
I only found the trails of vampires
Waiting to drain my essence

Serenity is somewhere in this world
I just want to see her just one time
Once I find her I know that my search will end
But just one question

Where is she?

My biggest journey
The smell of fresh fuel
The dance of sunlight at its peak
The cheers of the crowds
The shouts of the news
History is happening
The Final Countdown is playing in my head
A smile to cover the nerves on my my face
A dream to reality after it almost perished
I hug my family who now watch from the screen
I can almost feel their tears filled with wishes of my safety
Leaking through my shoot
As if to wish a dead loved one farewell
They will still see me on my way up
Beyond the sky and past the moon
On a trip where I may not return
At times I will be 54 million, others I will be 225 million
On a cold red world where we start anew
Many question its existance, many are willing to hope aboard
I hope this is not a dream, but if so let me stay in the coma
I have always wanted to do this, and now is my chance.
I always told my family that if I was gone thy can look to the stars
My head has always been there,  it was only a matter of time before my body caught up
After I heard of the Mars One program for the first time this is how I imagined the scene if I was able to be a part of it.

To My Love
She was but an image in my head
One I once believed
Would help make easy passage
Far past all dread
But who am I
To deny
What her essence had already achieved
Came at a heavy price
To truly evolve
With life advice
To forge paradise
Was not an effort for the weak
Even when fate seemed bleak
My admiration
Of her loyalty
And dedication
To better her own faults
Continued to grow
Even in tested days
She still always amazed
What could help write
A fairytale narration
Not unlike that
Of Beauty and the Beast

Constant melodies emerge from the soul
Looking to try to hold her
When the day turns sour
Poetry much like this
Is hard to dismiss
To immortalize what words I wish to say
When times might render me silent
To what my heart hopes to occur
It is not but secret she is blind to
And her holding my being to the highest principle
When my ego took over
Only betters what it is I see
In the glimmer of her Eternal Jewel
As I continue to pray
Each day
For the hope to capture that glow
On the rings
To help sew
The miracle in our meeting
Into a fabrics of creation
As she is the first to make me feel
That I actually deserve a chance
At everlasting happiness

The very fact we met is a miracle
Enough to contemplate
If an angel took favor
If the chance encounter
Hadn't been brewing all along
Spinning verse of lyrical
As there is no debate
It is a thing to really savor
To have such fate in another
After finally getting to shred the dark ties
In turbulent and terror
To find another who understood
Exactly why
I saw the starlit sky
When the world seemed cloudy
To which my own faults
Threatened to drive her out
Proving myself to be but the greatest fool
As I worked to tear the castle walls
And slipped her a key
To which when she found herself ready
To find inside
The truest of treasure I can offer
In hopes they are the same
If not greater
Then what she once told me she admired
So when the morning rose
And we found ourselves
In the gaze of each other
As I cloak myself
In the Phantom veil
Of a being molded by favorites
And heroes
To hopefully ascend
Beyond the end
Of the memory in which
Brakes the barriers set on us
By forces beyond our control
Giving us the edge
To truly seek out
What it is we long desired
Of heart and of mind
To define
The imprints we leave
Upon the globe
Immortalizing
And
Strengthening
Our push to
Defying
And
Realizing
The cruelty of what laid
Behind us
And forging empires of eternal jewel
Captivating all who witness
Its glory

Freedom, why so mysterious?
Freedom, why so mysterious?
Oppressive devil who spread his seed through his own plant
Now slain through the effort of those
Affected now gathered
Like vultures to the wounded
Now feasting on a move very triumphant

With fears of the scent of rose
Being not as sweet
Without the most noble of enchant
Hopefully with this
Our hearts are not as doomed

The roots of a possessed tree
Are now withered
Slowly becoming the dirt that encases them
Deeper it has sunk
Deeper it has rested
With only a few to break off into
A new forest or two

One small mistake
Had set the tree on fire
The other forests
Have felt the flames
No matter the distance
Between

The potential of heat
Gave these forests a power
Those who broke off to new lands
Become united
To share the waters
Preventing more burns

But now the fire from the devil's path
Is gone
We are free
.
..
...
....
.....
......
.......
.........
.............
Why don't I feel it?

Freedom, why so mysterious?
You are now granted to me
After a long war
But once shots have ended
Nothing felt different
Is it that I have yet to see the flames die?
Or is it a fear of the whispers to come
By the winds of those uneducated
In wonder of what happened

The only thing I have left
Is the fires to overpower the match
Untapped

Freedom, why so mysterious?
Please answer soon
As I have grown tired of waiting for the fight to be over
I will try to use the flames for other uses
But growing idiotic saplings have sprouted making it that much harder

Where is the goddess to listen to the stories of the forest
Easing its pain

Freedom... Please don't leave, you and I are about to know more of each other's mind

They Shot the Messenger
The ground
Is covered in fresh blood
As it flows from the head
Of the foreseer

The shooters
Wanted silence in his lips
That now quiver while still
Losing its strength

No remorse
Is given to the lose
As arrogance covers the mess
Left by the blind

Days pass
Truth is revealed
The foreseer was right
But acknowledged by none

The shooters
Weep without end
Feeling pain times 10
Of what they have dealt

The Messenger
Forgotten in time
But reviewed by some
Yet still ignored by the blind

All of this
Because of lack of judgement
All of this

This isn't how I saw this
On the mountain top blinded in white
I cannot see a thing
Nothing but trees are in sight
Trapped in this cave
The only other eyes I met with are hers

Stuck inside this mountain covered in its bandage
Why am I still alive?
Stuck in this freezing cold
Waiting for salvation
I always wanted a moment alone with her
But this is not what I saw

Time is ticking faster
But cold makes it flow no more
We are waiting for salvation
Praying for what miracles come to mind
I always tried to push for solitary
But this is not what I saw

I lay at her side
To keep what warmth was left
All to do was count each breath
And watch as it would dance in what room it held
I could feel her tears trying to burst
But the cold made it impossible
All I could do was hold her tight
This isn't how I saw this

Another grumble of the mountain and light
The bandage is gone
Melted away
But how?

No time for that
She is getting weaker, I need to keep her safe
She tells me that she cannot walk
I gotta hurry
I carried her down the mountain
Through the forests and by the river
"Please say something"
"Why did you save me?"
"To return a favor."
This isn't how I saw this

The roads finally appeared
How much time has passed?
A trucker passed us by
He must have recongnized our faces from the media
The wheels came to screeching halt
As if he had came into sudden surprise

He asked if we were the two
I confirmed and asked if he was heading our way
Not somewhere that as home
Not somewhere that was crowded
Just a place where we can get some rest without the worry
Even though we love the youth in our families
They love us a little too much to give us some rest when we had been gone for a time
This isn't how I saw this

On the ride home the driver found us something to eat
I was just fine, but she needed it the most
After the snack she caught up on the sleep she lost
This isn't how I saw this

The driver lened me his phone, so I could dial home
To let my family know
I ask to see if we could stay the night
And surprise everyone else
She didn't argue, in fact she was relieved
This isn't how I saw this

Passed through town at high noon
The driver said hope to see you soon
One more hill to climb

Up to the house I hoped to see
No one was home but me
She liked the look
But worried about how to enter
In till the jinkle settled her
Just inside I hear the barks
Of firends I have known since youth
Welcoming me and my friend into their home

She felt a little tense
But slept at the site of a comfy bed
I eased the dogs so she could sleep but efforts fell short
When the new one to the group walked in
He was surprised to see me
And asked if she was okay

"Yeah, I made sure of it"

I sent out a message with the phone telling everyone where to meet
Giving us the moonlight all alone
I join her in the bed, where she layed her head on my chest
Asking once again "Why did you save me?"
I replayed the memories and told her the truth
Nothing was left to hide
All she did was smile and whisper "Thank you"
This isn't how I saw this

Later that night we snuck outside to watch the stars
I took one look at her, and saw them dancing in her eyes
She looked at me and smiled
Then after all this time
She leaned forward for the kiss

This is how I saw this

Flames
Flames upon a plastic world
Take away what ugly truths lie beneath its skin
Unveiling what rotting minds forge
Upon the fragile births of a dreamworld
Far beyond the corruption and sin
Ground together so the greedy may gorge
No two flames are ever lit near
But on the rarest of days
The flames burns paths that cross
Igniting themselves to greater strengths
To eliminate what the greed filled world held dear
Showing old ways to untaught youth
To free their minds from frosts
And bring them, a more beautiful world.

Truth is...
Truth is everybody has a sword to send through your heart

Truth is everybody will have something to say

Truth is everybody has something to hate

Sometimes even if it is something you never notice

Truth is everybody has a struggle

Truth is not everybody will make it out

Truth is everyone needs help at one point or another

Truth is you need to stand alone so they are willing to help

Cause always needing it can push some away

Truth is you need to map your own way

Truth is no one can ever really show you how to get there

Truth is riches wait at every end of any route

Truth is what holds at top is easy to break

Truth is no matter what there is never a true easy way on the rise up

But the fall is much quicker if you slip

Stay true to who you are and lead your own way, those who matter will come to follow

Confession
I can't stop thinking about you
But I cannot find the right words to speak
So much artistry to make this forever anew
Scrambled by the instance it seeks my hand
The loss of you continues to make me weak
Yet in a distance I know you are just fine

I shouldn't have let you in
To the deepest of chambers
Held by the vessel of all emotion
Tarnished by seemingly endless wars
The thought of us now many see as sin
A notion
Splitting my mind since the moment
We left the mainland
To forge memories no one
Can claim were their own

Several hands have been dealt
To help me forget
Everything I felt and all I thought
I saw
Your silence sends the message
I should walk away
Back into the chambers
Of the secluded fortress
I once let you in

I know our new friends
Watch my pursuits grow further
Which leads me to wonder
If you think about me
As much as I think about you

Despite what I want to happen
I know I must let fate run its course
If our paths cross again
Maybe, just maybe

Or it will prove I shouldn't have let you in

Do They Miss Me?
Do they miss me?
Those I have shown my hand in kindness
The ones that which upon a single glance
Would ease the tensions of daylight

Do they miss me?
She of which showed sweet whispers asking for forgiveness
When none was needed to be heard?
How about her, the only one that tried to enter the way of Cupid
When all I done was light the darkness that held her
The model that showed interest in my growing world
The little sister I had grown
Or the angels I dug out of the earth
What about them?

I hear no word other then whispers from the crowds
I see no word of their lives other then the lights that drag my eyes into their path
I speak no name then screech of random thoughts
Do they do the same?

I wonder how many times I missed a chance
I wonder if they still feel the same

Goodbye
Emptiness
Nothing but the stillness of all
That I see
I've always know these streets
I see both faces of new
And ones I knew
From Long Ago

Sometimes
We reminisce about the Past
Smiling about what was
But it is hard to find that same pleasure
Paths may have grown
In each direction
For my friends to settle
In strange new lands

I took a path in which
Helps me see farther into the Past
Than I have walked on this Earth
And nations have formed to my feet
Every step I took

I try my hands at arts in every form
And flora begin to sprout
The tears of those I helped
Are now rivers which nourish the land
And wash away every worry

I come home
To show those I thought of family my work
Show them the lives I helped
The buildings I *****
The fossils I discover

Yet
By their presence
It all erodes away
In rains of starved acid
And disappears quicker than I can see

It has yet to stop
I have tried to keep the peace
But
I crave to watch them burn

I seek lost family
They tell me to stop
I build fortresses
They tear down the wall
I go to fly to new lands
They ******* out of the sky

I guess it is time to say
Goodbye

Does She Hear it?
Does she hear it?
The silent beat that flows through space
As if it held a message

Does she hear it?
The opened door in the walls that hardly move
As if something was holding a gift

Does she hear it?
The quiet tones that rise at her sight
As if it were birds singing good morning to a peaceful day

Does she hear the signs? Or will she finally notice once they are gone? I do not have much time, cause when I am gone so are they. I know that she knows, but does she see the same? Questions I hope to see before I join the stars.

Who Will Remember Me
Who will remember me, when the day is done
When the dust settles, and the beast is gone
The day that I concur the world, leaving no task undone
Who will remember me, when the smoke leaves this gun

Who will remember me, for the man I was
And not the shows I put on
The day that comes, when my fight no longer has a cause
Who will remember me the day my children show my face in crayon

The day my songs ring in my old stomping grounds
And my words hold the hearts of the young
Who will remember me for the boy I was
When the day comes it all has drowned

If I were to slip away without telling a soul
Who will remember me for trying to help theirs

I know it is not the end
The end
Many have shouted its name
Preaching that it had come

Now it is down to three
Will it truly be?

No.

I know it is not the end,
Because more is to tell
I know it is not the end,
Even if many will see one
I know it is not the end,
Because when I thought I make my own end
Laid over ready to kick

A little girl stopped me shadowed slightly with a blue glow

I have not seen her before, but she look a little familiar
Her voice shrieked in fear as if she valued my presence
I could see her tears rolling
But I could not move

She stepped closer and placed her hand on my cheek
And cried
"Daddy don't go."

I know it is not the end, because she made sure I would see the end
I know it is not the end, because I was saved by someone who was not born

I spoke with foreseers to learn her name
All of them said the same thing
She was my daughter

The reason she looked familiar is that her mother
Might be someone I already knew

I know it is not the end, because she has yet to begin

I'm on the Horizon
I'm on the horizon, looking back to all that followed
A few thousand faces I can see in the water
One out of few are the lights in the mourning crowd I spot each day
The rest are hitchhikers in for the ride
Not anyone I ever really knew

I continue to rider towards the horizon
With every break to make the next move
I look back to see how many more faces in the crowds
But see none that I hoped to see
I cannot go back, for I am too far now
Will I ever see them again?

It's Her
Take the steps in stride
Fight the world with pride
Show that you are a man
Stare against the world
Show off what you can
But don't you dare lie
You would not be standing there
Without the arms of a woman
You laid curled
Without her you could die
It might not even be fair
But it's her

Mother, daughter, sister, friend
Lover, fighter, true survivor
Grandmother, teacher
Healer, shoulder
Cleansing fire
Don't you ever
Deny that she makes your world
Holy water, warrior
A mighty knight's suit of armor
An angel's choir, Heaven's sire
A loving child
Woman's stride
Female Pride

Heart so wide
That is why you should stride
Should she see the day
She runs the world
She never needed
The men who hurt her
Worlds would change
As they already have

A woman's love
Paved the way
For our modern sky to never
Be the limits
Yet make it so
We live to take that chance
So why is it we take her for granted
Try to only treat her
Like she's a toy
A thing we may pamper
When the endless limit of her mind
The lights of her soul
The warmth of her heart
Are keys to creation
And beauties unknown

Mother, daughter, sister, friend
Lover, fighter, true survivor
Grandmother, teacher
Healer, shoulder
Cleansing fire
Don't you ever
Deny that she makes your world
Holy water, warrior
A mighty knight's suit of armor
An angel's choir, Heaven's sire
A loving child
Woman's stride
Female Pride

She may hit like I girl
But I see that pain is like no other
She never needed me to save her
When she has the power
But a fool I'll be
Not to help her
When she sees the need
It's her heart
It's her mind
It's her soul
It's her being
It's her
Why you are here
It is but for once a while
Stars align
A destiny only said as divine
And can be reached through trial
By fire

My life already strung
By but a single wire
For what battles already waged
My breath still hung
In memories seemed staged
Through the eyes of the blind
Obsessed in fights without valor
Just to enact a house divided
Forgotten to what is kind
And guarded without armor

Wandered alone in desert
My thirst substantial to wither
What strength I remain
Held to the light by the Seraphim
So I may ever be alert
To one day be with her
No matter how far I go insane
No matter how big I dream

For it was she that helped me see
What I was becoming
For it was she that saw
The potential for it all
And allowed my strength to build
To handle the life that is upcoming
With energy vigorous and raw
Unshaken by the ethereal brawl
So my demons would finally be killed

As the final war let out its cry
The storms that came shook
With every roar
She found reason to hide
Aching my heart to look
As my lungs ran sore
Pleading with every thought
To comfort her yet again
Too afraid I left her
So she ran for another

I tried to do the same
Spreading lies with claim
To cloud what I saw as love
With mere disdain
But in time I realized
The words she said to me during it all were true
So I took steps to begin anew
To undo all hatred I had wrought
And keep the losing flame
Running high
No matter my reach in fame
For I may be burned
When I work the courage to say
I am still in love with you
I owe a great deal
To the friends I hardly knew
For granting me memories
Of happiness and adventure
I thought possible only in dream
To laughter with each meal
Heartfelt tears in Shanghai grew
Sprouting lifetimes of stories
Of a fantasy
Against all odd
To the tunes of Parisian melody
Boasting a Holy Romantic seal
Beyond what possibly may seem

To the friends I hardly knew
May life smile on you
Bring you fortunes
And faithful kinships
To aid you when we part
Know what I say is true
From the run through Thai dew
And admiration of tropical art
It is but I thank you
From the truest extents of my heart
Though lost in Dublin street
Even though we may again never meet
From the highest of Highlands
We will never truly part
