Built a pack and conquered all crowns
Hides silently in every closet, worn as dress exquisitely covered with thorns
She gathers all with just a whisper, and rules over with a simple tug of the string

He loves art
He talked about it with glistening eyes and a smile painted on his face
I asked him the names of the masterpieces he like
He talked and talked, enumerating the things he love
I stared at him and waited to name himself

Is it this easy to miss someone
but hard enough to make them come back?

Una palang kitang nakita,
nakuha mo na agad ang aking atensyon
Katulad ng isang kwintas
Una mo palang makita,
hindi mo mapipigilan
na mapalapit agad iyon sa puso mo

Naaalala mo pa ba ang regalo mo sa akin?
Kwintas na may hugis pusong disenyo
Sabi mo, iyon ang sumisimbolo
na nasa akin na ang iyong puso
Ngayon, alam ko na kung bakit
Dahil tulad ng metal na kwintas na iyon,
Ganon din katigas ang nilalaman ng iyong dibdib

Every stain
of my ink

Writing you a poem
Typing the letters which I hope
Will lead to you

I sit still
And watch the night sky turn to be light

During the rain,
A hail

They are saviors
A legend for sure

While learners turn to black and gray,
They use their chalk
To make it vibrant
Like a wrecked road
Alone in the middle of nowhere,
Fixed it
Then made it
A road to triumph

It screams the word danger
Sirens race when you’re near
You made me drink the liquid you gave
Realized it was a potion full of lies
But I guess people love hazard

But what you didn’t know
Is the meaning of those striking words they wrote
Behind those they’re breaking
Turning their whole hearts to now shattered glass
‘Cause remarkable words can sometimes mean chaos too
