Empty theatre, no sound. Spotlight on Marley. Smoke rises to da ceiling. The room fills witta rasta feelin' Dis is no baldhead. Dis is Marley, the great. Dreads as soft as silk. Riffs creamy like milk. I wanna watch fo' de rest of me life. Face 'gainst guitar as he wails. He paints da skies wit his sound. Catches me wit a reggae trap, I'm bound. Feels like just yesterday. He was on dis Earth. I feel his watch, from above. Flying tru da sky, like a reggae dove. Sun Is Shining Forever Loving Jah Get up, Stand up Stir It Up Redemption Song He wanted what he all did... One love... Just one...* *Plus, massive bluntz

RIP Bob Marley
She don't wanna speak to me. Me mind is hidden under a cloud of darkness. Dere's a feelin' of inner struggle. I must release reggae. spliiiiiff I rise out of me bed in terror. Me dreamt of a lonely island boy, lost at sea. Could you imagine, no friends, no food. No reggae release. spliiiiiff I'm trapped in a reggae box I can hear me boy screamin', but I can't find 'im. I call for 'im, "JACO! JACO, MY YOUT!" I must release de reggae. spliiiiiff The room is a maze, no exit. Could me premonitions be true? Could me boy truly be lost? No reggae release. spliiiiiff Me vision's too cloudy. All to be seen is rat-like faces, cringing. Their snouts snort and sneer to a reggae beat. I must release de reggae. spliiiiiff The floor falls from under me. A lizard's heavy gizzard appears below. Crooked, sharp teeth shining tru de dark. No reggae release. spliiiiiff Colours upon colours. An indigo man stabs, then rapes a magenta woman. Until the reds, and greens, and blues, explode from her stomach. I must release de reggae. spliiiiiff I catch me breath. I'm in me room. Safe and sound. Jeez, what a bad trip, still?

The people in this place —what are they doing here? They come and go like actors in a play whose star will very soon begin to show himself, although we have no clue which one he is, for they‘re all so like tin apostle spoons, not truly separate beings but figurines, a passive foil to the inscrutible hero. Is that him, that thin pale figure who just now is fleeing the inquisitive crowd? But in a while he too is slowly reingested, merged into that far-off world we can no longer be in. The knicks and the knacks of you and I. The knicks as you chisel tru the glass enclosure around my heart. The knacks of.. of.. of.. you on I… Tear the walls down, I mean beat the walls now. The knicks and the knacks that have come to define our pact, our pack, our.. Knacks.. I visualize and shiver, even in the shower the gentle whisper.. Touch…. Your… Toeeee……s Oh stop it, ur making me blush, making my heart rush The knicks and the knacks that have come to define US… But wait, hol-up! Isn’t that what you wanted US to be? The ability to derive pleasure selfishly. Your narcissistic tendencies, expecting me to conform to this atrocity… But I did….. Oh yes I did… and foolishly, candidly, unrepentant in every way, I enjoyed every knick, every knack, in our little knick knack ------ you can check out this poem and my other works here http://tonipayneonline.com/poetry-by-toni-payne/

Am I the only one that grew up watching ****** tunes? I loved those animals much more than the ones in the zoo Daffy, Bugs, porky, and Elmer Fudd, got me laughing as a kid, even when I was in a rut. But my favorite toon, if you couldn't guess was Wile E. Coyote, and Roadrunner, They to me were the best Would He ever catch his prey? as a kid I only fashioned a guess with each and every failed trap, showing the Roadrunner was blessed. Now to use these two metaphorically I'll be Wiley, and Roadrunner would be amour, you see. Now in every episode I keep trying to pin it down but just like Wiley, I get blown up, flattened, or otherwise hurt while it roams around maybe it's fate or a strange genetic trait all I know is sometimes living in a cartoon ***** WATCH OUT OF THAT TRU POW!!!!!!!

We create from: thought into word; vocal cord vibrations. From word,                                           time ripples..                                       millions of outcomes.                               Yet us, only conscious of one.

Still don't know the meaning of love, only tears lonely years of believing scared just outta fears of losing whats known to our comfort zone the only known nightmare being left to die alone no matter how many times you play the story out trying to figure what you missed only causes doubt you don't need to keep going there I swear I keep telling me no need to compare our life's inequalities only casualties are left by scars that you cannot see invisible nightmares leaving evidence so vividly I do know what very few of us men do the power of being merely accountable to I know I said I'm sorry bout a billion times but I do know that's shadowed by the one and only line I love you, that's who, *** you have always been my tru And now you kick and cheat me like you always wanted to Wash the blood from your hands with a pool of my tears ****** in cold blood committed without fears Insanity fears no perjury glazed over with a cold stare A knife in my heart you imparted without even a care Where did your soul go when ya lost your mind? In due time come find mine if ya can it's lost with the drugs and wine Did you imagine it killing me watching me bleed out? Or was it execution style as to not leave a doubt I hope you liked it thought it out and put it to plan It's always so easy to stab the heart of a trusting man It's always so easy to entrap the **** of a lusting man In the minds of all women its not if only can

only tears
As a young child I wanted a right hand. one to ride with my vibe. a person I don’t mind to see me cry. i want a love so strong that it is a sin to the world eyes. i laugh you laugh...shhhhh!!! I can be corny at times. when one cries we are there to uplift, because love won’t let the inner die. you Guernica i Pablo Picasso you humbling shinning by my side tru love is what i’m looking for :) feel this............i bathe you in a fruit bath to wash away  the world stressful sin. i dry you off then rub you down with warm oil hmph !! let the magic begin :) then we make love like the world is going to end. just to wake up to see the sunrise again that was a young child who became a man still wanting that right hand Tru Love Is What I’m looking For :) as my old skool soul wraps around your heart. the piano sound dances with the wind because it has found the thing it’s been looking for. if i said it once i will say it again tru love is what i’m looking for :)

Just 4 U
I grew up in the hood, in had to except that i was nothing, but now im chasing money and getting polo's i had it coming..i seen a lot of things in 18 years u cant tell me nothing..my momma dated a crack fen and got beat yeah she didn't see it coming, i cried myself to sleep but stayed strong in keep stunting, i do it all for u momma in im proud to say i love ya, you stayed strong during the hard times, nothing came above you, i pray before i lay my head that a real ***** would show u something, treat u like a queen and put u first and tell u that he love ya, but for now mama im yo king in ima show u that i love ya...Big sis sham you was like my best friend yeah we fell off but i wish we can start again, you was the only one that really understood me..we lend on each other shoulders when we both felt down.. and i wont to say sorry for you being mistreated but always kept a smile... in my lil princess let her know that ima always hold her down...haven't seen yall in a long time i feel bad that i didn't stick around... Thoughts run thru my head like look what you came out to be now, from all the struggles that we been thru the helpless nights where we didn't have a dad to tend too.. Moms stayed strong and she was always reliable to fall thru.. But you know that's my pops and im going to always love him two cause he took me out the hood and gave me a life i could look up too.. But for you ur still struggling trying to make a dime into a 100 now that's a tru hustle.. And mom taught me best that "If you want it you gotta get never stop tell you finish" soo i was raised a go getta my moms ain't never been a women to be bitter... Always stood high even tho everything was really low she always said "Don't let money **** yo pride just leave it up too god" but when money was alive my moms tend to cry not knowing where it came from she said it was a blessing from god.. So momma ima keep working and make sure you don't have to cry again it kills me to see a tear fall when the money isn't rolling in... Stay strong and hold on cause my time is coming for me to shine again... Much love Cindy D Ellis <3

Depression is like an ocean of demons, you have to learn to swim or they will catch you. it's a battle against your own mind, no matter how hard you try they will come back to haunt you. It's sleepless nights, tiresome day. Feeling numb, emotions go wild, but you always paint on a smile. It's pretending everything is ok when really you're trapped in a hell you wish you could escape. Depression is a cut so deep, you cover it up because you don't want people to see. Everytime you look at it you feel ashamed and weak. Depression is being in a room full of people and still feeling so alone. It's feeling frustrated with yourself because you wish that for just one second your brain could switch off, it's wishing you could feel true happiness but it's been so long you don't even know what tru happiness is anymore. What is depression? it's an ocean of demons, if you don't swim you'll drown.
