may she shine with symphony,
shake when they hit the road,
stare at time through her madness,
run after my sad, drunk blood,
crushing above an essential friend

her feet ache
wrote this with fridge magnets
Just keep walking.
Even when you can't feel your feet.
Even though you feel you can't walk
               More.

My mother always kept a supply of chocolate and rain boots close.

I never questioned her morals because mother knew best.

I realised down the line , after many attepmts to work it out , she showed me her love in many different ways.

There was no problem chocolate couldn't fix , sometimes chocolate wasn't enough so she would hand me my rain boots and tell me to go stand in the rain .

She would join me and  hold her hands out , palms facing upwards towards the sky that was crying, I would copy her stance and hope I understood.

I never quite liked the feel of wet hair draped against my neck , wrapping around my face , it always resembled a tangled mess.

But my mother always looked content with the rain pouring down , beating off her chest.

She often told me life had a peculiar way of showing you what needed to be done.

So with her hair wrapped around her face, getting caught in her mouth, the water dripping off her chin a smile would appear.

She told me good things come in three but so dose the bad, she told me don't hold your nose up in the air unless you plan on smelling the rain .

She looked at me and said " rain is good, it washes away everything , i hope you learn from this "

We would go in and hang up our coats , make sure to wipe our  boots , she really did love that wooden floor.

Years on I released something that I'm sure she knows herself, rain can cause a mess , but like she always said " wipe your feet on the mat darling , the past is in the past"

My lips miss yours.
So much so that I can feel them
Growing arms and hands so that
They can write thoughtful letters to yours
About how if they had eyes,
They would see nothing but yours;
Blind to any other love.
They write about how
If they had feet,
They would take any number of steps
Just to reach yours;
Just to touch
Even for a moment,
To hold their old friends close
In a warm embrace.
They write about how
If they had wings
They would let the wind whisk them
Halfway around the world
As long as yours were waiting on the other side.
They write about how
If they had a heart,
Every beat would sing for yours.
I sit in silence and watch;
An act of pure passion.
A strange image poem. LDR life.
I look at my shoes.
My shoes and my feet.
They feel tired, worn out, exhausted.
I know how far they've come--
All the times I remember:
Running from danger,
Running to safety,
Running for help,
Running with you.
My feet are tired.
My shoes are tired.
I look at my shoes.
My eyes close.

I dream.
I see you, with your
Tired feet,
Looking at my feet--
Realizing I have tired feet.
You try to help--
To pay attention--
To ask--
To smile.
Will these things help my tired feet?
You are there with me:
Four feet.
Four tired feet.

I can only last four feet.
My eyes can't see,
My feet won't walk.
Am I alone now?
I fall hard--
Down,
Down,
Down.
Is someone there?
Are you there?
Will you catch me, even though
You have tired feet?

I give you my strength.

Arrows raining down on our feet,
And yours aren't covered.
None hit our heads but the bottoms of your feet blister.
So take my sole to save your soul,
Because we can't control these arrows or how far we have to walk.
We can't tell our feet to stop blistering and moving
When there's work to be done in places
That aren't here.
Thousands of tiny arrows make their way from our feet to our shirts,
Just over our left *******,
Where we thought our hearts were no longer.

Two
Two is better than one.
This is why humans are born with;

Two feet to walk us through the obstacles of life.
Two legs to hold the weight of ourselves through the lowest of times.
Two arms to carry those who need our help.
Two hands to treasure the littlest things in our life with such care.

But we were only given one heart and one mind, to find the second in someone who we find just as perfect as our true self.

I'm begging you to break my chains.
I'm asking you to carry my pain.
I'm sitting at your mercy seat.
I'm crying at your holy feet.
I cannot dance, and I cannot sing.
I know you have a plan for me.
I have heard that you have paid my fee.
I am trying to set my sight on thee.
I'm begging for eternal grace.
I need your help to run this race.
I am not about to get in a debate about religion. I don't care if you completely despise it. This poem describes where I am at right now. Yes, I believe that my God reigns, but I will not fight with you over it. If you don't agree with religion or like this poem, just move along. Simple as that.
