Equality

A global class system that values its citizens based on their economic wealth.

A global economic cast system based on:
3rd -  How much disposable income an individuals has.
2nd - How much an individual can consume.
1st - How much consumption an individual can generate.

Peoples privileges are then banded appropriately, based on their position within the economic carousel.

There are also millions of people that don't have, food shelter, security or drinking water.
(These are rarely mentioned)
we are valued for our monetary worth, love is the only respite, keep the ones you love close...

Only a fool could have discovered such purls of wisdom.
People often forget that there is a process of learning; we learn as we grow.
Advice is good but there can only be one set of hands on the Rubiks cube at any one time.

We require desire, ***, love loyalty and compassion, but we also require honesty, commitment and consistency.
If we can't communicate these things or reciprocate; then we must remain alone but not unloved.

It's on you both to fulfil this promise, these vows!
unreciprocated desires.

Who are you to doubt your perfection, who instilled the idea that you are incomplete and that fear is healthy in all things; including your dreams and your beliefs.
Flagellation; a poem about contentment.

The value of a good artist or musician.

Artists rarely make back the hours and cash invested in their trade.

A lot depends upon them, and the how much their culture values their particular trade, and art form.

Globally art, literature, music and song is deeply embedded within cultures; as such: an artists trade is often valued highly, similar to that of a plumber, electrician, painter, doctor etc, It's a craft, a skill with positive cultural significance. (A real job)

Here in Blighty, it's not regarded with the same significance.

'A slave to freedom'

We watched you sail; take to the sea in a rubber boat.
Take to troubled waters; and do your best to stay afloat.
So many lost souls, in the deep blue Aegean Sea.
The waters gently whisper, come and stay with me.

And as you slip below the waves; we wave goodbye;
It’s money verses conscience and so goodbye, goodbye, goodbye!
Then every eye watched you struggle to the shore,
We watched you knock, and knock, and knock, upon closed doors.

Another immigrant “a slave to freedom”
A nations money verses conscience; except on Sundays!
We may offer prays as an act of sympathetic generosity,
But won’t shoulder the burden like Simon!
So Back! Back! Let's not rock the boat!
I wrote the following poem, after watching thousands of terrified Syrian refugees, struggle to cross the Aegean Sea; rowing away from tyranny in rubber boats, only to find their neighbors pushing them back...

I believe the utopia we are all striving for will not be rooted in economics, but in solidarity, kindness and love.

During this time I spoke to a vicar who stated that there simply isn't enough money or room for these survivors in the UK.
(Where was her faith? when we needed it?)

The mystery of love,
Spits with desire,
Watch it evolve,
Ply it with fire,
It came from above,
Higher and higher,
A riddle to solve,
Awaken the squire,
Upon a winged horse,
Virtue and vice,
As lust takes its course,
Sugar and spice,
A terrible force,
Colder than ice,
With little remorse,
Naughty but nice.

Lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely!
She said I am so lonely, lonely, lonely,
I  could die.
My mouth was dry,
There ain't sweetness here in paradise

Baby, Baby, baby, baby!
She said baby, baby, baby,
I  could die.
My mouth was dry,
But there ain't sweetness here in paradise.

Love, love, love, love!
Love, love, love,
I kissed you hard,
My mouth's was dry,
There ain't sweetness here in paradise.

Dad is so very proud of his culture, underneath this nationalist, racist, sexist, homophobic, religiously intolerant, ageist and xenophobic snobbery; is a man that stands by his right to hate who he likes.

Nature is my mistress, bitter sweet, bitter sweet; the scent of young lilies and regret, for a woman's heart is slender, deep yet dark and tender, and as silent as the body's first caress.

My mother and my farther, and my brothers and my sisters, and my uncles, and my aunts are all quite fair, but something doesn't sit right, it's not quite in the spotlight, I'm looking at a world that isn't square.

The plastic spoon to stir your tea, the carrier bag you got for free,
the slow decline of honey bees, the friend that slept with you and me, the tragedy of fantasy, the whisper carried on the breeze, that traveled the century's with sailors on the seven seas.

Distracted by the rhythmic words, we listen to the humming birds, the nature of your natural eye encircles us like butterflies, the creature has it's mothers eyes, the lure of love flies on the wing, to take the insect and the sting, to follow ends to sticky ends, bitter sweet, bitter sweet; you're so sweet!

I love you honey want you be my girl.
Won't you be my girl for just one night.

Black dog Jan 2018
I spend all my hours crying and crouching in dark despair, consumed by self-pity; neither living nor dead, my mind poisoned by grief, ruined, undone, bitter and broken; my love wrenched from me.
My dream smashed into a billion pieces.
I'm finally ready to embrace the black dog with all its teeth and fury, fearless, numb, exhausted, done.
I'll gladly drink down the bitter pills to end this state of loss; to spread my flesh, to let the cold waters draw me down; with pockets full of stones, anything to stop this intolerable feeling!
I am nothing but empty!,
I’m sick and tired and at the end!
And for those that may remember just how retched a soul I had become; I pray and pray; that I am soon completely forgotten.
Confused, broken, desperate place, dark, suicidal

Bonnie & Clyde

You held my hart in your hands and my soul in your mouth, we watched the moon slip through the dark knight, A lullaby of blood and sticky labels, reach for the sky, reach for the sky, No more dollars, No more heists, No more; No more, Bonnie & Clyde.

won't you save me, for I've been running all my life, I've been sinning, I've been stealing and I know that that ain't right, won't you save me, won't you teach me right from wrong, I've been sinning, I've been stealing, please take me home.

We sang to the pound of the engine, you lay your head in my lap, so sweet so simple, you toyed with the coins in my pocket, reach for the sky, reach for the sky, No more dollars, No more heists, No more; No more, Bonnie & Clyde.

won't you save me, for I've been running all my life, I've been sinning, I've been stealing and I know that that ain't right, won't you save me, won't you teach me right from wrong, I've been sinning, I've been stealing, please take me home.

We danced to the  backdrop of yellow fields, spattered with red confetti, shookhands with the devil, all dressed in rags, reach for the sky, reach for the sky, No more dollars, No more heists, No more; No more, Bonnie & Clyde.

The devil he has taken me, and I can't run no more, No more sinning or stealing, for now my life is done; you can't save me, You can't teach me right from wrong, No more sinning, No more stealing, For now this soul has gone.

Ten cops, camera and a smile, Photo for a trophy, V8 Ford full of holes, reach for the sky, reach for the sky, No more dollars, No more heists, No more; No more, Bonnie & Clyde.

He’s got natural rhythm, a girl in a red dress, a suit of clothes, a hat and a silk vest,
A set of brogues, a packet of cigarettes, a 20 dollar bill with no regrets.
He’s got a fast mouth, a slick deck of cards, chequered blues and a V8 ford;
He’s got jazz, gospel, and ragtime too: a carpet bag and a jug for *****.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik!
He’s got it, he’s got Jake,
His feet will roam from town to town.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik, Sheik!
He’s the devil with a ******* snake,
Your feet may never leave this town; not alive anyway!
For he’s on the board walk,
She’s on the board walk,
We’re on the board walk now!

He’s got mojo, see him switch and walk, a winning smile, a stick of chalk,
He’s a hot shot, man about town, his skin is sweet and his eyes are brown,
He’ll strut that rooster, beat them gums, take cash or cheque before she comes.
He’s got jazz, gospel, ragtime too, a carpet bag and a jug for *****.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik!
He’s got it, he’s got Jake,
His feet will roam from town to town,
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik, Sheik!
He’s the devil and no mistake
Your feet may never leave this town; not alive anyway!
For he’s on the board walk,
She’s on the board walk,
We’re on the board walk now!

During the 1930's prohibition era: many drinkers acquired their liquor or moonshine from bootleggers; "Jake" was a popular liqueur distilled from Jamaican ginger extract containing more than 75% percent alcohol.
It  was known to caused severe damage to the nervous system and paralysis to the limbs and a common characteristic among Jake drinkers was a clumsy shuffle walk known as "Jake leg"

"Make lots of noise ~ Stamp your feet!"

Garlic is the new black, all squares are red, so dance the colour blue, and leave your prejudices at the door.

It's not just wrapping paper, yellow triangles or wallpaper,
it's radical art; challenging the norms and provoking change!

"show me how you party and I'll show you who I am!"

14 years of faith, form and function;
designed to unleash the utopian spirit,
a space for drinking, laughing, loving, dreaming and creating.

We built the Bauhaus as a sanctuary, not as a prison, a monument, or a museum, but as a springboard for something new!
We can embrace the desease that's consumerism and mass production or present something new?

We rearranged matter with our minds,
We made our children our home,
There's no singularity,
No negative vibes,
No distance between us,
Just a dream as we walk in the light,
Immortal; yet entangled in our dark material world,
There's infinite time to learn and move on,
We can't hold the matter in our hands, or our hearts,
Fear and materiality is not the true reality.
Let it go!
Nothing is truly destroyed, it's simply rearranged; just like our dreams.
I explained something similar to this; to my friend Richard Stanier back in 1985 and nothing has changed.
when I asked the question what is more beautiful for Milky Way or planet Earth?

There's nothing special about my greedy utopian dream:
I'm not off grid, or more ecco' friendly;
I still order luxury goods from overseas, hoard, engage in cliques, use the internet, dream about my own bit of land, claim any benefits I can.

I use the same drugs, minerals, roads, hospitals, banks, and I pollute the same air; with the same stink of self righteous elitism; because just like everyone else; I am unique!

(Off-grid irony)
There is nowhere off grid, our homes and our freedoms are all part of this flimsy construct ffs

We continue to **** the natural environment for little more than vanity and prestige;
The clever culture of taking what we need from our own sustainable environment, has now been replaced with greed and a class system that's based on:
FALSE PROFIT- (imaginary figures)

Inevitable the day will come, when there's no one left to boast; who killed the most fish, cut down the most trees, dug the biggest hole, ground down the largest mountain, or who ****** up the most oil.

And our small place in the great scheme of things will have become untenable;  a few fossils may remain as evidence, as to our meaningless, childish and destructive pursuits.

However natural justice will eventually prevail, as the world continues with its 50 million cleaning cycle and our petulant place within the world will have little or no meaningful significance.

(So my advice to you is: forget all this social climbing, find something that you enjoy doing, and do it till your dead)

For the last few thousand years, humans have continued to trespass, venture into inhospitable areas, burning down, meddling, or just poking around in natures complex, natural chemical laboratories.

The more humans encroach upon the natural world; the more exposed we are to a highly complex eco system; a system that has evolved over millions of years to support a huge diversity of life in which humans play a tiny part.

As a species we struggle to survive the mosquitoes, not to mention the trillions of other diverse insects, animals, fawner and flora we are now disrupting and introducing to our populations, is it any wonder so many of us are dying.

This disease is a symptom of our consumption and lack of contentment?

Cultural fantasy.

we are all fantasists, with a skeptical façade; for cultural appearances.

Most of us desire wealth, power, ***, love, or improbable things and are fantasists as regards our own reality.

Ironically those of us that openly desire the improbable are labelled dreamers, and those that cling to a collective cultural reality are deemed level headed.

In conclusion we are all fantasists, with a skeptical façade; for cultural appearances, each choosing to remain swathed in our own egos, desires and self beliefs.
Fact or fantasy and its relevance?

I walked a mile in a dead man’s shoes !

Slow down Tom for the evenings long
And the sun an’t rising any time soon,

I set fire to their temples,
I tore down their robes,

I filled them with grief,
I plied them a debt.

In gods name;
I did it all for love;
For the love of you!

For together we must stand as one,
Put aside those old traditions;

We must transcend the confines of our mathematical consciousness; or our perception of reality shall remain incomplete!

We must fill in the details with our minds eye, in search of a harmony and understanding only then can we become replete, or as one with our function in this seemingly infinite universe.

So dream beyond your algorithms, and don't just leave your dreams to the machines.
So dream within your algorithms, don't just leave your dreams to the machines.

We embarked upon a titanic voyage to a new world.
It’s said that behind every great man there's a great woman; But a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.
7 bells rang late that night, as our ship stuck fast; between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Fingers frantic! tapping code, as land lubbers row hard, pulling for freedom.

Sailors quickly battened down the hatches and stowed away the Riff-raff, for they knew fine words would butter no parsnips, Better here than there in 3 class.
Some fiddlers on the deck played “Nearer My God to Thee", As the bubbles rose from beneath the sea, come buckle down boys for the devils to pay, come hell or high water he’ll have his pay.
Mothers row, lubbers row, it's time to leave this god forsaken place.
Ten steel decks split and snap, as they join the *****, and hundreds either shriek or pray; as La dolce vita slowly ebbed away.
Mercifully the cacophony descends ever silent, as fifteen hundred souls become neither fish nor flesh, rotting from the head down.
Save our souls •••- - - •••
Bless all those souls lost at sea!
