"ascertain" poems
*study *your defined mounds and dipping hips,, lips and heated soles, to ascertain that your mine willingly, you're alive, still mine, to have and hold, not to be me, a left~behind* *for you in and ex, hale~hail me not, you chest. convex nor concave, if it gives, lives, moves, my eyes,     mine wetted eyes cannot discern, and the precious stillness I do so adore cherish, contaminated by notions of you having perished* + *it, is wished hard away, wished hard it may disappear, a sigh. a groan, a puzzling moan, anything even a sudden dreaming scream, to confirm that our heat still can be all merged, so that your light sleeper schema cannot be touched and thus defeated, so I write an only love poem, and sign it with tears of a cursed quiet streaming, clouded, most unliterary, but always with a super silent adoration, of, for* she, who cannot be disturbed

when in the stillness, I cannot hear your breathing
The world is a fast changing place Everything changes and keeps on changing till the end is reached upon when something is achieved. Seldom when the end is reached upon there still remains more to be achieved. Along with time comes experience and maturity. Often it happens that when something is achieved, yet a larger part of the picture still remains to be completed. At this juncture starts the beginning of something new, definitely keeping in mind the prior experience. Changes taking place in the outside world are part of everyone’s life. It’s destiny, something written in destiny, part of destiny. It’s fate. Once everything is discussed, decided, reviewed, revised and a conclusion is reached upon, time now to take the necessary line of action. Think about it and think again Everything going on in the mind has got some reasoning and accordingly respond towards change. Think about it and think again. Review the past, revise, rewind and recognize the past. Always keep in mind, never remain forever in the past. It’s obvious to think about present in the present moment of time when something is going on in the mind with regards to the future. It’s serves like an alarm, a wakeup call Certainly there will always be something to look out for with regards to the future. Always it’s important to keep in mind the right moment in time so as to ascertain the future. Hope and anxiety go hand in hand When there is a hope for something positive to happen in life, then at that moment in time the mind becomes anxious. As of now what else needs to be done in the present with regards to the future, definitely there will be something else to look out for with regards to the future. Nothing changes on it’s own, absolutely nothing When a change happens it comes along with time Efforts have always been made in the past when a change takes place in the present. Different is the present, different from past. Different will be the future, different from the past and present. When changes are taking place in the present always keep in mind a desired line of action needs to be ascertained and then taken. The right step when taken at the right moment in time makes all the difference in the present and also along in the future. So even if one step is taken at a time always make sure it is taken with a positive frame of time Irrespective of the changes taking place, an efforts always need to be made to achieve the aim, which has been ascertained by the mind prior. Positivity attracts positivity and then the desired change happens So always accept a change with a positive mindset, then move ahead towards what has been ascertained by the mind prior.

Always believe in your dreams If not always, then at least for once in a while Believe in your dreams Always make a conscious effort and start believing in what you dream If not for a long period of time, then at least for a fraction of second Do believe in what you dream Believe in your dreams. If not quite often, then at least for once in a while, dreams do come true Also it happens that we do come across someone for whom dreams have come true So always, do believe in what you dream Believe in your dreams. Be confident of yourself in all the work that you do, believe in yourself Be yourself so as to believe in the work that you do. Always work with keen intent and interest Horn your skills and develop them Better to do the same old, routine thing in another way once the skills are developed. Live in the present, but confident about future Like you are confident about what you dream Believe in your dreams. Live in the present Believe in the future, if not ascertain the same Love life and live life as you like Never give up in life, but still always remember Believe in your dreams. Let the mistakes of the past remain in past Live in your present, which is obviously much more certain than anything else in the world Like for many of us , who never forget to dream In the same way for all of us there is something to remember Never give up in life Nobody knows when luck will turn back and smile So even when you continue to dream Do believe in your dreams All which you have dreamt of in the past Believe in your dreams. Believe in yourself Never believe in what the rest of the world says Like it is always said never believe in what others say Even if and even when you listen to what others say always be sure and confident of what you have got in your mind. There are no two ways about it Either your win the game or you lose Either this is true or it's false Good, better, best Always give your best Believe in the fact that things will get better If not today, then definitely in the future Believe in yourself, be confident about yourself. Believe in your dreams Dreams do come true So always believe in your dreams. Dreams make us believe something Dreams make us believe All the life that we live can be different Much different from what we live on a day to day basis Dreams do make our lives interesting in many ways. So believe in your dreams. We live each and every moment of our life We do what we are supposed to do Like we always believe in what we do. Believe in yourself For your belief is different from what you believe Believe in your dreams. Dreams do come true If not often, then at least for once in a while So do believe in your dreams Nobody knows when dreams will come true So always believe in your dreams.

783 The Birds begun at Four o’clock— Their period for Dawn— A Music numerous as space— But neighboring as Noon— I could not count their Force— Their Voices did expend As Brook by Brook bestows itself To multiply the Pond. Their Witnesses were not— Except occasional man— In homely industry arrayed— To overtake the Morn— Nor was it for applause— That I could ascertain— But independent Ecstasy Of Deity and Men— By Six, the Flood had done— No Tumult there had been Of Dressing, or Departure— And yet the Band was gone— The Sun engrossed the East— The Day controlled the World— The Miracle that introduced Forgotten, as fulfilled.

The Birds begun at Four o’clock
Jumped from a plane, napped on a train, sort of in pain, hope there's some gain. Motorcycle jumped, feeling quite pumped, that stump I bumped, ascertain, minor sprain. Drunk in Deutschland, sang with an old man, couldn't pay, so i ran, my fortitude I feign. Back in America, so much to tell ya but can't stay too long. Complacency. My bane.

Win it or lose it Get it or forget it One thing remains for sure If you win, then the world knows you If you lose, then it’s always try again So always remember, give you best whenever you give a test. Once the test is clear it means you are qualified to compete with the rest and others. Deal with the past when in present Deal with the past in the present When dealing with the past in the present, if possible even ascertain the future. Mistakes from the past will make their presence felt in the present Deal with those mistakes, find the error and make sure the same does not happen in the future. We live in a world where everything is uncertain and undecided A world where dreams are part of everyone’s life A world where we ourselves don’t know what will happen at the next moment and at the next turn. We live with a hope that if not today, then tomorrow something better might happen, something good, which will change the present and shape the future in a best possible way. We live in a world where every effort is made in the direction of not only survival, but also growth, keeping in mind the uncertain future. We live in a world where everything is uncertain and undecided till the last moment in time Still we don’t forget to smile We don’t give up in what we are doing as our work We try and keeping on trying till we get what we want. The world belongs to those who try and in doing so they don’t give up Never give up in life No one knows when everything will start falling in it’s proper place It’s time to learn one thing for sure If you give your best, then hope for the same Definitely a day will come when you will get the best and nothing less So always give your best and hope for the same.

The outside world is a fast changing place Plans made in the present will leave their mark and presence in the future As of now in the present everything seems fine and better. Time and tide waits for no one Make a plan in the present and work it out successfully Even after the successful execution there will always remain an odd that will come along the way. Every plan made in the present will have it’s presence felt in the future even after an execution in the present. Prepare for the future when time in the present permits to do the same Let the present built on it’s own In doing so, keep in mind the uncertainty about the future A moment in time will come when the future will look certain Important will be that moment in time then, since present moment in time will be ripen enough to execute the necessary line of action. When something is going on in the mind, something certain, definitely something needs to be worked up and worked upon to ascertain that something certain. Plans are always be made, since to plan something becomes need of the hour Important is to execute the plan successfully This is when expertise and experience comes into application. Within a stipulated period of time everything needs to fall in it’s proper place to see what are the results that one gets when a plan was made initially. Definitely planning is important, however, equally important is successful execution of that planning. Hence it’s important to remember, every plan that is made in the present will always leave it’s mark and presence in the future. Important will be then at that moment in time to act accordingly The other way round, important will be then to make the next plan keeping in mind again the future.

i. descend i've lost weight since we last met we fit differently from before- bird-thin, the both of us- but this hollow in your feathered chest is still where i feel most at home- your jade eyes a nest, to cultivate my happiness i've been betrothed to the birds you stayed back, earthbound i fell, a cataract, from the red cliffs you watched me sink, earthbound i was ripped to shreds in the tundra freezing and thirsty and you listened instead to the flowers, drowning me out as i whispered for help they told you sunlight stories when i was trapped in dusk i was an inch from the edge of night and you fled so as to not be consumed. ii. unpend i know what i told myself- i said i shed my mourning veil- but i still weep for the morning lark, your lightening song haunting my brittle nightingale i write you letters every night with a fountain pen slathered in red ink saying what i never could, spilling my regret on the page (wake up with ****** hands) i should have known you were no one to trust you're just a fledgling we're all so naïve. iii. the end i take flight, for brave is the man who would leap from the bluff to prove his worth; for i can take action now- i can say this now, where before i sat on the sidelines i will not wilt in your arms just for a moment i will hold you tight my prisoner thank you for keeping me alive i don't need that anymore thank you for staying by my side when i had eyes set to **** thank you for helping me to ascertain that i’m no phoenix thank you for participating in my stupid guessing games you were the match to ignite my nicotine habits but now i'm the one who's decided to spark and fade green-eyes, i've made a decision and this time i'll stick with it- featherlight now, i will make my escape

i. descend i've lost weight since we last met we fit differently from before- bird-thin, the both of us- but this hollow in your feathered chest is still where i feel most at home- your jade eyes a nest, to cultivate my happiness i've been betrothed to the birds you stayed back, earthbound i fell, a cataract, from the red cliffs you watched me sink, earthbound i was ripped to shreds in the tundra freezing and thirsty and you listened instead to the flowers, drowning me out as i whispered for help they told you sunlight stories when i was trapped in dusk i was an inch from the edge of night and you fled so as to not be consumed. ii. unpend i know what i told myself- i said i shed my mourning veil- but i still weep for the morning lark, your lightening song haunting my brittle nightingale i write you letters every night with a fountain pen slathered in red ink saying what i never could, spilling my regret on the page (wake up with ****** hands) i should have known you were no one to trust you're just a fledgling we're all so naïve. iii. the end i take flight, for brave is the man who would leap from the bluff to prove his worth; for i can take action now- i can say this now, where before i sat on the sidelines i will not wilt in your arms just for a moment i will hold you tight my prisoner thank you for keeping me alive i don't need that anymore thank you for staying by my side when i had eyes set to **** thank you for helping me to ascertain that i’m no phoenix thank you for participating in my stupid guessing games you were the match to ignite my nicotine habits but now i'm the one who's decided to spark and fade green-eyes, i've made a decision and this time i'll stick with it- featherlight now, i will make my escape

It’s morning and there’s an incoming, your receptors sense a spark of sadness so they take it and mash it and all of a sudden It’s here: nothingness. Staring into the perpetual vastness of a mind that you have and there are no signs of life no remnants of emotion that could indicate something once lived and breathed and laughed in this abyss in this blackness so until Doc bumps up the milligram for the fifth time around I can distract myself with people, places and plants and listen to his South African accent while imagining a planet rational to my mind devoid of even the most microscopic of organisms. Not a patio brick or a single tumble bug of my childhood remains, only these deep lacerations veiling the beauty of the land which it scars. Now it’s noon and the scuffs on my shoes remind me of you My mind is racing while Zoloft takes my sadness and transmutes it into emptiness; I’m currently still trying to ascertain which of them is worse.

(My Love) Gives You Butterflies
Please excuse my drivel of words as I ascertain my inexcusable lustless love life. However, humor me for a second… But I’m looking for Miss Alabama Worley. Mississippi Isabel, **** it, Lady Macbeth would do. That ***** knows crazy. Where is the incomprehensible insufferable beast? That will take my heart in one foul swipe and refuse Me rest till I’ve given her lust the spearing of a hungry tribesman. I want the lock and chain around my ***** because my naked vulnerability Is hers for the taking. Beat me, Oh monstrosity of the bedroom Let the blood drip as I lick your foot. Indulge me with the endless sweat and tears of the night. And **** me like a rock star Till I taste the rubber. Where is the whirlwind passion? Love at first sight. And not the giddy looks of something Michael Cera starred in. I am talking tattoos on the first date, Reckless marriage doomed by the 50 pound ring on her finger. Put me in a ****** east end flat, Let me starve because ******* is food for the brain, And her ***** tastes delectable when I’m high. **** my brother in our bed, I never liked him anyway. A best friend is a man who’s shared the same hole. And trust me, we’re closer than ever. You’ll be all I’ve got. I’ll sleep on the couch and crawl back to you, Because I'm wrong, I am always wrong. Laugh at the scars on my wrists Pity isn’t there for the taking. Leave me shaking in the corners of my mind, Let lust grow like anger and revenge Let anger and revenge grow When I go soft on you, Put those cigarettes out on my chest, And choke me; asphyxiate me from the inside out. I want to burn in the hellish rapture Betwixt your thighs. ******* fire in half an hour, God knows where you got it from. But those who care share, right? But then, Perhaps I’ll just end up like my parents, Settle down with a nice girl. A nice normal girl, Missionary position isn’t that bad I ‘spose.

Unknown Variables The phrase pokes me the eye, demanding obeisance and a poem, My compliance is required, not demanded, but required, for the “unknown variables” conundrum, roots around in my brain cells necessitating a cleansing, Walking down the street is fraught, unknown variables everywhere, popping out like cutouts on a law enforcement shooting course, requiring instant delineation between killing not good guys and only bad guys, no hostages, civilians and no them, poets, Can you test for unknown variables? Of course not. Unknown is a condition, that you cannot drop in to ascertain what condition your multiple conditions are in, Then there is you. You, reader, are an unknown variable, ripe with nearly nuclear reaction potential, you are fissionable material, capable of destruction of my explosive creation, Assessing the poem, do you conclude, keep/discard, remake? now, poem a known variable, asking that it becomes a parcel of your multivariate inputs, a familiar variable, that can charm, destroy, mislead, or even, fulfill a need, make a reckoning, modify your brain; all those dangerous things that are permissible when first you read a newly constant known variable, a perpetually reborning poet? postscript ------------- my name is brandy channing and once upon a time, I was e STEM major

Unknown Variables (Our Chemistry)
Let the leaf that is dry and old enough fall off on it's own Leave it as it is in it's place Over a period of time it will fall off on it's own. Let the leaf fall and touch the ground where it will meet thick, lush green grass that covers the entire ground. The season has changed, so let the leaf move ahead along with the wind to reach a new destination Not much is known about this new destination, perhaps the only thing is it's new when compared to it's old destination. Let the lead that has turned dry, brown and old, let it fall off on it's own. Leave it as it is in it's place for the time being, since a time will come when it will fall off on it's own. Always it's better to leave the past far behind Since if something belongs to the past, it's always better to let it remain in the past to where it belongs and then move ahead along with the present moment in time. Move ahead in life with the present in mind Think of present at the present moment in time Think of something new, something different when in present. Even if the need of hour is to make a small beginning, even then there should be no reluctance of mind in doing the same. Definitely the present will change for better when the past is left behind A departure from the past will add a new meaning, life and substance to the present moment in time. A change also takes place in the present when the present has got something new to add, something new to offer, something different to ascertain, something better to be done with regards to the future. In all the aspects of life In the different walks and ways of life In the highs and lows of life In the ups and downs of life As and when a change takes place in life In fact, whenever a change takes place in life Let the change bring in something new to life. Something, some sort of a thing, something unexpected to life. Still further even with all these alterations taking place the changes must be refereshing enough to add new zest and zeal to life. Always be prepared for the uncertainty that belongs to future Accept the changes that take place in present to decide what is in store with regards to the future Not every change that takes place in the present is a welcome change Definitely only when a positive attitude is maintained, only then it can be a refreshing change.

Everything (physically) erased, nothing ever forgotten. Every word spoken or written is engrained in my brain, I will never be the same. Unlike no other you came you conquered you (changed). Seven existential hours that would change my DNA and internal making, making, making what I knew up until then surprisingly malleable. Your words your actions your face your voice filled up every millimeter of me that everything else inside was pushed to the brim and seeped out of my pores. Everything I once was became everything you ever were, ever are. There is a chair in the back of my mind that is reserved for you to sit there and continue to hotwire (my mind) and thoughts into something much better than I ever could have fathomed. Your puppet strings control what and who I am and it is impossible to think there is any other living organism that could possess that undeniable ability. There is a keyhole somewhere inside myself. There is a key inside of you. Keyholes the size of pinholes as vast as Sirius. Small, believable, existing. Keys the shape of orchids and birch as natural as the metamorphosis of roots (into) trees. I never knew what (my) purpose was until you. Or maybe I always knew what I was before you and you opened the windows to the (soul) otherwise known as brown eyes so timid to everyone besides you. The smallest organs became so (full of) nothing but visions of you. There is a special place in my slowly beating heart perfectly executed to fit all of you. A twin bed that only holds one girl has an infinite amount of room for whatever (love) you could continue to bring into my life. The impossibility to (for)get and erase has left me with an endless amount of hope to see you again. The possibility of knowing that you are still somewhere out there and I am still somewhere down here, although unsure where. I cannot ascertain whether or not feelings are reciprocated but I know I know they are. I know you know where you are. I know you know I do not know where I am but you could figure it all out for me. You had it all figured out for me. Plans stretched farther than the 3000 miles separating my red string from yours. Our strings are still connected. There is nothing in the world that can cut them no matter the distance no matter the people no matter the time no matter the place. I know and somehow you know fate will bring our two oceans together. One calm ocean full of creatures so logical and tides so serene they make a beautifully flawed human being known as yourself. One ocean plagued by waves and uncertainty as to what is below the surface that makes up a human being, me. Both oceans surround land full of love. Our continents will merge. Our love will emerge. (You, only you.)

"How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob, Your dwelling places, O Israel!" Thy children gather, telescoping generations, O Jacob, what do thine eyes ascertain. what history do they memorize? Coalescing younger star clusters, disparate related families uniting, embedding as a single unity, a star cloud, shedding a new light, the astronomers awed, witnesses, a super-star cluster birthed. The beauty of thy tents, thy wealth, O Jacob, is their multiplicity, their construct and content. The web of thy tissue, bindings, linkages, what resides within thy tents, acknowledge, testify, that the strength of thy issue, are the Matriarchs, managers of thy destiny, mothers of thy dynasty, The Sarah's, Leah's, the Rachel's, the Fay's, the Ginger's, the Miriam's these jewels bedeck, beautify, brides and bridles of thy tents, master mistresses of thy dwellings, without them, O Jacob, you, but, just, another desert tribe.
